Charlotte Marries a Vampire Page 12

Stefan, the vampire, is analogous to any type of sin. At first bite, it usually appears harmless (and often in a pretty package) until you indulge in more of its deception. Then it becomes a comfortable part of your life – almost normal until you recognize the stronghold of destruction that it’s amassed. Within a matter of seconds, one thought can lead to one action that can take years of your life hostage. Apostle Paul wrote about this in 2 Corinthians 10:5 by instructing us to take each thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

Like Charlotte’s desire, abundant blessings are often waiting in the cooler ready to be opened in God’s timing. I would encourage you to go online, and sign up to join the dialogue at http://www.charlottemarriesavampire.com or contact me via email at mailto:[email protected].

  SPECIAL THANKS

Special thanks to friends and family who have encouraged me along the way to pursue this project. As they say in filmmaking, there are no small parts and the same holds true for this novel adaptation and the on-screen version.

Thanks to fellow filmmaker Jennifer who thoroughly reviewed the screenplay from a Biblical perspective and more. Many thanks to Amy Bayliss for a creative web design with her unique touch. Reviewers Trisha, Alex, Debbie, Liz, Paige, Diana, Jason and Nancy – all provided great insight and feedback. Friends Deborah and Shane provided added support along the way while family members like my sister Debbie prayed for my sanity and Uncle Ed provided a temporary place to hang my writer’s cap.

Finally, to my children Coby, Jon, Paige and Isaac who’ve grown up with a mom continuously at the keyboard, thank you for the most incredible gift of being a mother. God blessed me in abundance with all of you.
