Chapter One
Wolf
Bored.
I am so fucking bored.
I reach for the tumbler lying next to the bed and bring it to my mouth. The liquid gold melts on my tongue as I watch another foolish married socialite ride my cock. Eva Vanderbilt. Gown abandoned on the floor. Pearl choker and wedding rings still in place, of course. Her husband and my father’s best friend somewhere downstairs. I really should be concerned that there’s a chance he could walk in on us, but sadly, I couldn’t give two shits about him even if I tried.
“Oh, baby … You fuck me so good. God, god, god,” she purrs as her skinny ass bounces on my thighs, the condom on my cock, glistening with her want, disappearing in her perfectly shaven cunt.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
Yawn.
I finish the whiskey in one gulp, enjoying the burn as it goes down my throat, and drop the expensive crystal on the floor, already forgotten. My eyes roam Eva’s perfect tits, her coral lips, and soft curves. I’m willing myself to feel something—anything—but it all remains silent except for the animalistic need to fuck, to seek physical release.
And I do.
I grab her by the hips, flip her on her stomach, my cock never leaving her body, and fuck her from behind, soiling her in a way that would make her stiff millionaire daddy cry. But I want more. Need more. I wrap my hands around her neck, pull her back towards me, bringing our bodies close together. Letting me go deeper. Harder. Without shame or guilt.
She screams. Pants my name like a bitch in heat, the Park Avenue China doll long broken. I bite her back, drawing blood, making her cry in pain. I laugh as she tells me to go to hell, but I am already there. I am the fucking devil your mother warned you about.
Cock in her cunt, two fingers in her asshole. She spasms around me as she comes viciously with my name on her tongue.
Almost there, I can feel the fire building up inside me.
Pulling out, I remove my condom and pump my cock savagely, seeking my own release.
“Get on your knees,” I order, my voice cold and distant.
Eva gets off of the bed to kneel in front of me, her body splotchy and covered in a film of sweat. Stepping in front of her, I throw my head back as a shout is torn from my chest and spill my seed on her face.
Burning in hate.
Burning alive.
* * *
I’m adjusting my bowtie in front of the mirror when I hear Eva’s voice coming from behind. “When will I see you again?”
I watch her reflection through the mirror. She’s lying on the bed she shares with her husband. Naked, in full splendor against the white sheets still warm from our fucking. Blonde hair frames her angelic face as she watches me hungrily.
“Soon, I hope,” she purrs, her hand tracing the valley between her tits as though she could tempt me back into bed. The little fool.
I turn to face her, our eyes connecting, and I watch the woman who has served her purpose to me and who I don’t need anymore. I should feel some amount of guilt for having used her, but my heart remains silent. Silent to her pleading eyes, her deceitful heart. I walk slowly to the bed until I come to stand in front of her. Leaning forward, I grip her chin and make her look at me. Her pupils dilate as I bite her lower lip.
“If you think I care for your feelings, you’re a bigger fool than I imagined.”
She raises a hand and slaps me hard on the cheek in response.
I smile.
“Be careful. You don’t want to fuck with me. My husband will—”
I step away from the bed, burying my hands in the front pockets of my tuxedo pants, enjoying the pulsing sting on my skin, and shrug. “Your husband can’t touch me. I own him.”
Her face pales. “What do you mean? What did you do, Wolf?”
“I guess you’ll find out soon enough.” I look at my watch, checking the time. “I must go. I promised my date one dance before the night is over.”
She reaches for the sheet with trembling hands, covering herself with it. “You’re disgusting.”
I accord her with a slight bow of the head, humoring my unworthy opponent before turning my back on her and walking to the door.
As I’m reaching for the handle, she cries out, her voice needy and brittle, ”Wait!”
Getting off the bed, the sheet forgotten, her modesty gone, she comes running towards me. She takes my hand in hers and kneels at my feet, showering my hand with desperate kisses. “I didn’t mean any of the things I said. I’ll do anything you want me to.” There are tears now pouring out of her eyes. “Just don’t leave me. I-I love you.”
“Your begging bores me.” I tear my hand away from her hold and open the door, stepping outside. “Goodbye, Eva. It’s been a pleasure as always.”
She gasps as her naked body falls listlessly to the carpeted floor, sobs tearing from her chest. “You heartless bastard! I hate you!”
I shut the door behind me as she’s reaching for the crystal tumbler on the floor. The last thing I hear is an explosion of glass shattering against the door.
Whoever said that vengeance rots the heart made a major mistake. And that mistake is thinking one has a heart left.
