Quinn stepped inside and kicked my door shut, but made no move toward me. “Don’t you even want to talk about the video?” he asked, following the movement of my hands as I tugged the front of my towel, exposing the tops of my breasts. “It’s uh, kinda, um,” he swallowed as I opened one side, licking his lips as I revealed just a sliver of skin. “Important.”
“No, it isn’t.” I took a few steps toward him, my bare feet silent on the deep carpet. “Not right now.” I let the towel drop down my back, then turned around, giving him a full view of my cherry blossom tattoo.
Quinn scrubbed his hand over his face, his discomfort evident as his dick strained against his jeans. “Jesus, Kinny,” he groaned.
“Okay, so now that you’ve finished ogling me, are you gonna come over here, or what?” I asked, repeating what he’d said to me. “Or do I have to come to you?”
His eyes blazed, his face flushing. “Don’t fucking tempt me,” he growled between his teeth.
I lifted my hand and slid my finger over my lips, darting my tongue out to wet the tip. “I’m tempting you?” I dragged my finger down my chin, my neck, and to the hollow in my throat. I let my eyes drop to where Quinn’s cock was solid against his denim. I swallowed the saliva pooling in my mouth and squeezed my thighs together, dampening the ache building there. “I must be doing a poor job.”
Quinn’s pained expression tore at my heart. His reddened knuckles turned almost white as he clenched his fists by his side. “No, you’re doing a great job of driving me fucking crazy.” He unzipped his hoodie and slid it down his arms, then threw it on my bed, revealing a gray T-shirt that stretched across his broad chest, and my hair tie still on his wrist.
I sucked my bottom lip into my mouth and bit down a little, holding back a triumphant smile. I closed the gap between us and released the towel, allowing it pool around my feet. “Crazy enough to stay?” I whispered, lifting up onto my tiptoes.
Quinn perused my body lazily, then rested on my mouth. I gasped when his hands gripped my bare hips, his fingers digging into my flesh. A single bead of sweat ran down his temple at the same time he yanked me to him, his solid dick pressing into my stomach, making me gasp. “I’m not going anywhere, Kinny.” He ran his fingers through my wet hair, pushing the cold strands down my warm back, sending a shiver down my spine.
His hard chest tensed when I placed my hands on his pecs, rippling under my palms as I stroked upward, over his shoulders, and around his neck. I pressed my breasts against him and then rolled my hips. “Good.”
Quinn’s chest rumbled, a growl erupting from his throat. His hands swept from my hips to my ass, hoisting me off the floor. I wrapped my legs around him as he turned me, pressing my naked back against the closed door, the painted surface cold under my skin.
His mouth crashed to mine, tongues delving, lips moving over each other in desperation. A soft cry escaped me as his teeth nipped and bit my lower lip, devouring me. Heat poured from my core, arousal intensifying.
I gripped his hair, tugging him closer, deepening the kiss. His hands were all over me, palming my breasts, pinching my hard buds, kneading my heavy orbs.
“I fucking need you,” he whispered against my skin, his hot breath tickling the sensitive flesh below my ear. “You’re mine, Kinny.” His hands dipped between us, the sound of a popping button and the lowering of a zipper turning me on more, making my buds painfully contract.
“Yes!” I squealed when he dipped low and took my nipple in his mouth, the urgency of his tongue and his lips setting me alight, his teeth grazing the stiff peaks, driving me to the brink.
“Always mine.”
“I always have been, Quinn,” I replied, and he lifted his head, searching my face, his hands running up my sides, his hips holding me in place.
His eyes softened, his long, dark lashes casting shadows on his cheeks, disguising the almost healed marks there. His tip probed my entrance, easing into me, and before I could take a breath, he filled me in one thrust, making me cry out.
He thrust again, slower, controlled. I reached behind him, gripping his tee and pulling it over his head, feeling his scorching skin against mine, his chest on mine, my breasts pushing against him, the friction against my buds making my eyes flutter.
“Fuck,” he groaned, his face quickening, his grip on me tightening.
“Quinn,” I sighed. “Oh, God, Oh, God…”
He slammed his mouth against mine, swallowing my moans of pleasure, kissing away the sighs, the hitches in my breath as he reached the end of me over and over. His tongue searching for mine and groaning when he found it, tangling them together.
He took my hands and lifted them over my head, stroking back down to take my tits in his hands as they bounced to the rhythm of him pounding into me. In and out, harder and harder, taking me higher and closer to the edge, ready to throw me over.
I couldn't hold my arms up anymore, I dropped them, took fistfuls of his hair as I wrapped them around him, my entire body tingling from the inside out, sparks of electricity lighting me up from within.
“Fuck, yes,” Quinn ground out against my neck as he slammed his hips upward, the door banging in the frame every time he plunged into me, the noise getting louder and louder until it sounded like it was going to break down at any second.
My head fell back against the wood, my orgasm tearing through me. My thighs clenched around him, as my walls contracted, squeezing him inside me. “Quinn!” I squealed, my pulse soaring as my core radiated my climax, sending to every fiber. “A-ah!”
I couldn’t breathe, couldn’t see, all I could do was feel Quinn’s cock stretching me, thickening, his body tensing, his muscles shuddering as he released inside me.
“This is real,” he panted, his forehead resting against my shoulder. “You were always real to me. I was a dumb fuck for trying to think you were anything else.”
I placed my hands either side of his head, his exertion coating my palms. I gently tilted his face toward mine and softly kissed him. “I love you.”
His eyes widened, his already darkened skin flushing more. He searched my gaze, and for a moment, I thought I saw fear flash across his features. My heart sank as I thought I’d said something he didn’t want to hear.
“Tell me again,” he demanded, then his voice dropped to a murmur. “Kinny, say it again.”
I swallowed down the lump trying to break free. “I love you,” I choked out. I ran my fingers through his damp hair, tangling through the messy strands.
Quinn dropped his head to my chest, and snaked his arms around me, still holding me against the door, not letting me go. I held him to me, my heart not slowing down, and neither was his. They still beat frantically, the pulse point in his neck throbbing in time with my beat.
“I love you,” he murmured, his lips brushing across the top of my breast. “Kinny, I fucking love you.”
The weight of the damn world fell from my shoulders the moment I heard those words, the pressure holding me down disappearing.
“That’s all I need.” I lifted his head again, wanting to see his face, his perfect mouth, his hypnotic eyes. His lids were tinged with red, and I pressed my lips to the tip of his nose, just like he’d done to me. “All I’ll ever need.”
Quinn slid out of me and lowered me to the floor. He kissed me, his tongue sweeping my mouth, his lips capturing mine. When he pulled back, I took his hand and led him to the bathroom, his jeans getting left behind as he stepped out of them.
“Shh,” I said, my finger against my lips. “If we’re quiet, they might go away.” I snuggled further into his chest, and his arms tightened. His phone beeped again, and I groaned. My bed was warm, and Quinn was hot, just how I liked it. I also liked the throbbing between my thighs from him taking me in the shower, then once more in bed.
Quinn chuckled, then pushed back the covers. “It’s probably Layton,” he said, reaching for his discarded hoodie. He fished in the pocket and pulled out his phone. He looked over his shoulder as I ran
my finger over his back tattoo, tracing the raven’s talons and beak. “Not as pretty as yours,” he said, pumping his eyebrows. He’d gotten a good look from behind me in the shower, his fingers dancing along the flowers and thin branches.
“Yours is badass, just like you.”
“You’re sweet,” he said jokingly, fluttering his eyelashes, his teeth showing as he grinned. “Hey, my eyes are up here.”
“Oh, stop, you’ve got nice teeth, okay?” I said, just like I had once before. I rolled my eyes, but I couldn’t stop the tug at my lips.
His hand slipped under the covers and cupped my breasts. “Mm,” he moaned, closing his eyes. “And these are perfect.” His phone beeped, and it was his turn to groan. “Jeez, okay.” He lay back, taking me with him, resting my head on his chest.
“What the hell is that?” I asked when I saw his lock screen. Me. Asleep. The first night he’d been over.
“You didn’t see that,” he said, not bothering to hide it or his code to unlock his phone, pressing the keys that spelled out KINS. “Or that.” I beamed when I saw his adorable blush, my heart singing with happiness. He side-eyed me and grumbled, “I love you, so get used to it.”
I reached across his body and squeezed tight, then kissed his Claw tattoo. “I love you too.” I tugged playfully at my hair tie on his wrist.
His eyes flicked to my computer, and a ghost of a smile fell on his lips, but he didn’t mention the collage of photos of him on my screen. He clicked a message from Layton, ignoring the ones that asked him over and over if he’d watched it yet.
He pressed the play icon on his phone, and there was Phoebe at the table with a glowering Quinn, his anger palpable even through the small device. I watched in morbid fascination as her lies unfolded in front of all of those she’d deceived, just for popularity.
“You look so relieved,” I said when I saw Quinn’s reaction to the piercing comment I’d added to the story.
“I was, and I am,” he said while we watched him walk away.
“Wow, I didn’t see this coming today.” Josh said through the speaker. “I guess she didn’t pop your cherry after all, man—oof!”
I whipped my head to Quinn as the conversation continued, his jaw tense, but he didn’t try to stop the recording. I heard everything else that followed.
“But how?” I asked, but the sound barely left my mouth. Tiny prickles traveled over my skin, making every minuscule hair stand on end.
His brows dipped, and his head cocked to the side. “Why is that so hard to believe?”
“But, I thought…” My foggy brain couldn’t seem to find coherent words to string in a sentence, “I mean you…” I gestured up and down his unbelievably sexy body. “So, when you came over to study…?” I asked, and he nodded. “I took your…?”
Quinn chuckled then lay back, resting an arm behind his head. “I guess so.”
I stared up at the ceiling, going over that night in my head. There was nothing awkward or uncomfortable at all. “But it was—”
“Great?” he finished, running his fingers down my side.
I looked up at him and saw he was watching me. “Yeah.”
“Like all the other times after?” he pumped his brows and grinned. “You know it, baby.”
I bit my lower lip, disbelief, but also unrestrained satisfaction coursing through me. I sat up and cocked my leg over him, straddling his hips. “Yeah, I do know it.” I leaned forward, ready to kiss the man I loved when his phone rang. I reached over and picked it up, swiping the screen when I saw Josh’s name lighting it up.
“Hi, Josh,” I answered. “Sorry, Quinn can’t come to the phone right now, he’s busy.”
“I am so sorry, Kins, but this is about the circle.”
My insides dropped like stones, huge fucking boulders crashing down around me. “Oh, okay, sure.” I handed the phone to Quinn, and when I made a move to give him privacy, he held me still.
“Yeah?” he said, then the familiar rumble of Josh’s voice sounded through the earpiece. His hand on my ass continued stroking up and down. “Sure. Get it listed. And hey, Josh?” His hand stopped, and he held my chin between his finger and thumb. “Thank you, man. For everything.”
He hung up, then pulled me down to kiss me, his lips warm and inviting. “I know you don’t like this, Kinny, but you know this is part of me.”
“I do know, but you also know I’m never going to like seeing you get hurt.”
He spun us both so I was underneath him. “The only one who could hurt me is you, baby.” He rested on his arm, the other trailing down my body, the simple touch turning me on.
I lifted my head at the same time he dipped his, our mouths meeting in the middle. “Never.”
Then he entered me, our bodies rocking in unison. No more talking, just touching, feeling, and the sound of our breaths.
Quinn
“It’s going to be fine, I promise,” I said into Kinsley’s ear as she sat on my lap in class. People were staring over at her, sitting there, but I gave no fucks. I ran my hand over her thighs, and my other wrapped around her slim waist.
“He’s got this, Kins,” Josh added from his seat next to us.
“I’ve got this horrible feeling, though, Quinn,” she said, stroking my face where dark purple marks would sit every few weeks. She toyed with the hair on the back of my neck, the strands longer than usual. “It’s like I want to vomit and pass out at the same time, but I can’t because I’ve already thrown up thinking about it, and my heart’s beating too fast for me to lose consciousness.”
“Are you okay?” I asked, cupping her face and turning hers to mine. I pressed a light kiss to her already swollen lips from taking her mouth just moments before. Her sweet taste was something I’d never tire from—my infinite personal stash of sugar. I ran my fingers across her forehead. “Are you feeling sick?”
Josh turned to us with concern etched on his face. “Do you need to see a doctor?”
“No, I’m fine.” Kinsley shook her head and reached up to take my fingers. She kissed the tips, then stared down at my hands. “I’m just worried, I guess. I didn’t know what the circle was going to be like, and now that I do, I…” She blew out a long breath, the air shaking as it passed her lips. Her eyes slowly raised to mine. “I admit, seeing you fight that guy, when you won, it was hot.”
“Look who’s changed their tune.” Josh laughed.
My lips curled up. “Ah, so you think the fighter’s hot, huh?” I pulled her tight to my chest and nipped her bottom lip. “I thought people like that were idiots?”
Kinsley rolled her eyes, her lips tilting up, too. “Yeah, I guess I’m an idiot, too.” She smiled, her eyes glistening as she did. “Just for you.”
“Yeah, you better be,” I growled playfully. Keeping her body concealed with mine, I swiped my hand over her chest, flicking her nipple with my thumb. I watched her pupils dilate, hunger filling her gaze as she looked at me.
“You know it, Quasi,” she purred. Kinsley sucked her lower lip into her mouth between her teeth, and my already hardening cock flinched underneath her. “But like I was saying, I’m worried about you. I don’t think I’ll ever not be.”
“You know I love you, right?” I asked, stroking her soft cheek.
With those words, Kinsley beamed. “And I love you.”
“Yeah, you do.” I kissed the tip of her nose. “And I like that you worry, but it’ll be fine. After this fight, I’m taking a vacation like I said.”
“You better, because I’ve got plans for you.”
I leaned back a little “You do?”
Kinsley tugged her sexy lip back into her mouth, and I had to use my last ounce of fucking strength not to devour her right there. “Yeah, and it involves not seeing the outside of the house for a while.” She blushed bright pink.
My cock stood to attention as much as it could inside the confines of my now too-tight jeans. “Best vacation ever.”
“Sorry I’m late, class, I got held up,”
Mr. Cunningham said as he rushed in. His eyes darted to Kinsley, then to me, taking in her position.
“I’m just leaving,” she said and stood from my lap, the vacant space too cold without her there. She leaned down toward me. “See you later.” Then her lips were on mine, and I swept my tongue in her delicious mouth.
“Bye, babe.” I watched her leave, the sway of her hips and her ass causing me physical pain.
“I never thought I’d see the day,” Josh said, shaking his head. “But, damn, I’m so fucking happy for you.”
I glanced at him once. “Thanks.” I turned to the front of the class. “But now she’s gone, all pleasantries are out of the fucking window.”
Josh tapped his fingers on his desk, the both of us staring at our wreck of a professor. “You’re damn right, brother.”
Throughout the class, Kinsley’s words rolled around in my head. Her worrying about me, making her physically sick, had my chest tightening. I wasn’t giving it up; she wouldn’t have it anyway, but the thought of her puking her guts up because she thought I was getting hurt had me feeling things that confused the fuck out of me. Could I take a backseat? Could I actually hang up my wraps and leave it all behind?
No. It was in me to do it, to hit, to punish, to cause pain… But if it caused her pain… Fuck, it was messing with my head.
“I can practically hear the cogs turning in your head,” Josh whispered. “Don’t even think about it, Quinn. Kinsley wouldn’t change you for the fucking world. You know that—she’s said it herself.”
“Do you think she’ll still say that when she sees who I’m up against?” I asked, not looking at him. It didn’t matter, though, because the fight was happening no matter what. It was set, my plan was in action, and it just needed to be executed. This fucker was going down, and I was going to be the one that put him there for good.
