As she returned, Janice was beginning to feel truly tired of this act, but still, she lay back and pretended to enjoy the attention.
Ep 27, Chapter 3
The ape armed man screamed out in agony, as his left knee was completely missing.
As the man holding the pistol wasted just that one moment to look at the source of the noise, Margret launched the gas propelled blade from the cigarette lighter sized handle through her purse and into his forearm making him drop the gun crying out in pain.
Jacqueline subsequently had in rapid succession shot three more men in non-fatal, knee destroying salvos before the little clip was empty.
As she reached for another clip, a man tried to shoot her, but by this time, Margret had caught the falling gun in midair and with a spin, fired, striking the man in the temple, blowing the left side of his head out onto the street.
The leader of the gang was now directly above her as she landed on the ground facing up.
He had reflexively pulled a second gun which he was just bringing to bear on her from above when she in rapid succession squeezed the trigger four times.
There was not enough of a face left to identify the body as it slumped backward against the hood of the car.
Sadly, as he fell, gun still in his dead hand, the trigger was mashed as the pistol caught on the bumper and rolled under the grille, before discharging into the engine block of the car.
Oil began to cascade out of the destroyed oil pan and coolant from the torn radiator.
Snapping upward into a one-knee up braced sitting position.
“If you want to live,” Margret said,” discard your weapons and crawl to the side of the road, “If you want to die,” she breathed in halting breath, clearly in a lot of pain, “Just try doing anything else.”
Ep 27, Chapter 4
“Shit.” she cursed while breathing heavily, hobbling from the pain in her abdomen which only seemed to be getting worse by the minute, “We gotta ditch all these weapons some place!”
“The ocean?” Jacqueline suggested.
“Sure.” she said, “Too bad that useless fucker had to kill the damn car on his way out.”
“Yeah,” Jacqueline said commiserating, “At least we don't have far to go.”
“Shit,” she remembered, “I lost that beacon Anna gave us,” she winced, “We don't have a way to contact her. And at this point, without my wallet, we're pretty much screwed anyhow because I have no money.”
“I have money.” Jacqueline said, “I have a special account for emergencies that is untraceable.”
“I'm glad baby girl, because we're really going to need it now.” hearing brakes screech to a stop in the distance, she glanced back to see people running out and scooping up the bodies and the wounded, and moments later, pulling the plates, smashing the windshield, ripping out the VIN and setting the dead car on fire before speeding away back toward the freeway. “We need to get off these streets soon because the cops are going to come looking.”
“Yeah.” Jacqueline agreed.
Rummaging in her purse she found the lock pick. “Ever ride a motorcycle?” she asked the buxom brunette.
Ep 27, Chapter 5
As the exhausted, injured and agonized rock star pulled to a stop along the loading docks, Jacqueline carefully climbed down off the motorcycle with the help of one hand where she was too short to reach the ground on her own.
Going over to the water's edge, she pulled the three guns, one her grandmother had just given her on her birthday, and eight knives, and the little ceramic poison dart launcher Anna had given Margret out of her purse and dropped them into the sea with a satisfying series of plops.
They then rode up the coast, and then up a winding mountain road in the moonlight, to a place Jacqueline said had an all night hot springs resort.
“There it is,” Jacqueline pointed to what looked like the entrance to a temple.
“Where do we put this thing?” Margret asked.
“I'll pay them to ride it into the ocean.” she replied.
“You almost seem like you have done this before.” she grunted as a new wave of pain caught her and doubled her over.
“My family remains prepared.” she replied.
“They won't ask any questions here?” the larger girl asked with a grimace as they walked up the steep steps.
“No, or we would not have made arrangements with them.” the child informed.
Ep 27, Chapter 6
As they entered the pool area wrapped in towels, some older women, clearly of some wealth were already there, having a pleasant conversation.
But when they looked up and saw the nearly two meter tall white woman with red hair, and the overly buxom scarcely one meter tall Japanese girl enter with enough blood on their hands and faces to be easily seen in the dark, they all got quiet and stared in horror.
As the two of them settled into the shower blocks, they washed each other's backs, while being mindful to keep Jacqueline facing away from the women, due to her lower anatomy.
Finally, after all of the visible blood was washed off and rinsed down the drain, they carefully washed each other's hair.
At one point, Margret again doubled over groaning, though, dropping the shampoo bottle.
“Are you two ladies okay?” one woman rose up and waded toward them, “I'm a nurse if you need any help.”
“No-” Margret gasped, eyes going from squinting to wide open, “I'm okay, I just fell earlier is all,” she wheezed, “Just a little winded.”
“Its none of my business of course,” she offered, “And I know some people who come here have reasons to their privacy,” she said very worried, “But that blood still coming from you is not from what ever was on your before!”
As Margret looked down, she realized, there was a slow but steady trickle of blood coming from between her legs.
“Ohhhhhhh....” she groaned and tears began streaming from her eyes, “I'm gonna lose the babyyyyyyyyyyy...” and she collapsed.
Episode 28
“Immaculate Conceptions And Blood Shed In Love”
All of the women, it turned out, were on a board of directors of a nurse's union and this was their private sanctuary they would go on some times, but at this moment, they nearly drown themselves lurching through the water to the aide of the tall woman when she cried she was going to lose her baby.
“Nooooo!!!” Jacqueline wailed in hysterical terror, “Please don't lose our baybeeeee!” clinging to Margret's arm laying on top of her sobbing and wailing.
As the nurses came out of the water minus their towels, two immediately went to their lockers and slipped into robes.
“We're getting the equipment!” one cried out.
“Okay!” the first lady to speak acknowledged, then, she addressed Jacqueline, “Come on baby,” trying to be soothing, “We need room to operate, if we are going to have any chance of saving any baby right now, okay?”
“My baby!” she cried out tearfully over and over, as she allowed a strong built nurse to gently lead her away to give the head nurse a chance to put Margret in the best possible position to begin treatment.
It took three other women to hold Margret who was reflexively doubling over in violent spasms, one holding each arm and one holding her feet.
Margret cried out in agony, but each movement she made was only making the blood flow increase.
Finally the two nurses returned with rolling carts jam packed with high tech medical equipment.
“Laying on the CAT blanket.” called one nurse.
“Applying 2 ml hydroantinon and three cc's morphine.” came another.
“Okay, honey,” the nurse warned their impromptu patient, “this is probably going to hurt a lot more, but I have to look inside, and with this blood flow, I have to dilate the vagina to look inside.”
“I don't care!” she half growled, half wailed, “Just save our baby!”
As she used the dilation tool she murmured to herself, “That's odd...
and she motioned for another nurse to look as she pointed to the vaginal area, “Her hymen has never been breached.”
“Honey,” she asked, “Are you SURE you're pregnant?”
Ep 28, Chapter 2
They had semi-blood on IV and had inserted some radio dye to see the actual source of the internal bleeding better.
The CAT blanket gave a high resolution image of the tiny zygote, which, thankfully, was still safely lodged in its mother's womb.
However, it showed that some of the surgical stitching had torn loose and that had bleeding interstitially for several hours now.
“So she wasn't delusional,” the head nurse marveled, “she really is pregnant!”
“So what is all this internal surgical damage from?”
“They had to move her.” Jacqueline finally returned to lucidity as she felt the situation had hope, “She was in the wrong place.”
“She who hon?” the nurse asked, “who was moved?”
“Angellica.” she said, “Angellica was in the wrong place, and the doctors moved her.”
“Is this Angellica?” she asked, pointing at Margret, who although sweating profusely was laying quite still, breathing shallowly and only half conscious.
“No.” she corrected, that's my wife Margie-pargie.” she pointed to Margret's abdomen, “Angellica is the baby.”
Ep 28, Chapter 3
The darkness of the underpass was suddenly, and violently interrupted by several sets of headlights.
Several cars arrived, and twenty hooligans began ripping through the little cardboard community wreaking even more havoc until they finally found everything that had fallen out of Margret's purse.
As screams and shouts of pain echoed under the steel and concrete structure, the hooligans shredded everything to be triple sure that nothing was left that belonged to Margret Anne Cooper.
When they were satisfied they had everything, they sped by the burning car, which was almost totally consumed, and scattered their findings around using gloved hands and then sped away.
Eventually, the fire department and the police arrived on the scene.
Ep 28, Chapter 4
“Well baby,” Elaine announced as she came out of the bathroom the fifth time, “Its getting late,” as she calmly and coolly began dressing in her street clothes, “I hope you had as much fun as I did.”
“You're leaving already?” Janice asked, acting hurt.
“I'm sorry babe,” she put on an equally well performed sad and apologetic face, “But I have to catch an early plane to be back in time for a model shoot.”
“But you said you wanted to meet Margret and her wife,” the agent said in a confused, questioning manner.
“Maybe next time darling,” she said, “Just keep me abreast of the next show, and maybe we can catch her then.” and she winked while making a clicking sound in her cheek out of one side of her mouth.
“Oh....” Janice said as if coming to a sudden realization, “Yeah, I guess there's always another time!” and she chuckled weakly.
“That's the spirit babe!” the strong Italian woman praised her, “Ciao!”
After she left, Janice went over, locked the door, called to the desk to have them instantly change the digital card code and send her the new card with room service and a bottle of baby powder.
Then she repeated the process of sending everything on the recorder to her Los Angeles sound studios.
Ep 28, Chapter 5
They got the bleeding stopped, and they carefully sutured the old wounds back closed, using the same type of robotic surgical tool as the one used on her before.
They put a bathrobe on her and carefully transported her to their reserved room using the two medical carts clipped together as an emergency gurney.
They gently offloaded her into the bed using the careful combined skill and strength of all six women.
She was told to not move for seventy two hours, and that Jacqueline was to use a bed pan to help her with elimination needs.
“I don't know what kind of trouble you two are in girls, or who the father of this baby is -”
“I am!” Jacqueline protested, also wrapped in a bathrobe, “She's my wife, see?” she held the to extremely expensive rings next to each other, which, although it was enough to give them a serious pause, they had never once considered the rings to be real.
“I'm sure you two love each other very much honey but -” the nurse began dismissively, knowing it took more than love to make children.
“She is.” Margret said, coughing then groaning, “The baby inside me is hers, she is the father.”
“You're just saying that by autosuggestion because of the morphine -”
Jacqueline produced her personal identity card which had all kinds of data and very rudely said, “Shut up and read lady, you're pissing me off now.”
At first she was flabbergasted, but then seeing the glare on the blind girl's face, and even realizing that she was in fact blind, she sheepishly complied and scanned the government ID card, and it showed her as a fertile XY genome.
“Oh my god, I am so so so sorry Mrs Shunokoi!” she gasped turning pale.
The other nurses looked and above everything, the fact of who she was brought literal reverence to them and they all dropped and groveled before her.
“I am so shamed!” she wept, “Please forgive me! May your child have a long and healthy life! It is an honor to serve the Shunokoi house!”
“You may rise,” Jacqueline replied, “But you must tell nobody anywhere you have seen us, but instead, go to the family house with this.” and she gave the head nurse the receipt for their room, which by and of its self looked nothing remarkable, except that had no guest name on it.
“Yes Lady Shunokoi!” she bowed deeply, “I will go right this minute!”
“No.” she negated that, “Go about your daily business for now.” she commanded them, “Besides, there might be complications and having your staff on hand already saved my wife's life and our baby.” she then announced, “You will be compensated for your services, and should they be required more, this too will be credited to you all.”
“Yes lady Shunokoi!” she bowed deeply again.
“Unless I call for you again,” Jacqueline concluded, “You are dismissed.”
As the women left the room all buzzing with nervousness and excitement, she carefully lay down beside Margret, who once again wore fresh bandages.
“What am I going to do with you Margie-pargie?” she said softly, stroking the big girl's cheek, climbing up onto the bed, pulling back the blanket. “Here you went and got yourself all torn up again.” she sighed in her soft little voice, “Its just a blessing of the gods that these ladies who work at the Shunokoi International Health Foundation happened to be vacationing here at this exact moment in time.”
“Yeah...” Marge weakly chuckled then winced, “Just like a movie, huh...all too convenient.”
“I guess the gods have some reason to keep you alive my love,” Jacqueline said, laying up closer, but not getting as friendly as she usually would, carefully avoiding any actions which might cause her new stitches to rip out, causing even grater, more difficult to repair damage, “That is the only conclusion that makes any sense.”
“Yeah,” Margret sighed, “I've never been much of a believer in the supernatural,” she looked away embarrassed for a moment, but then turning back, “I think I'm starting to become convinced!”
“I truly hope so Margie-pargie,” she said and gently kissed her weak and weary bride, “Good night my love, sleep well.” Jacqueline said, then pulled the blanket up over them both, reached over and turned out the light.
Ep 28, Chapter 6
“The evidence leads us to believe that one Margret Anne Cooper murdered one Hyinn Fujina in cold blood on the morning of June eleventh, 2029 at 3:43 am, execution style, Mrs. Shunokoi, and that your daughter, Jacqueline Marie Shunokoi is either a knowing accomplice, or an unwilling victim in the presence of a
violent criminal your honor,” the deputy prosecuting attorney said in Japanese, “The state requests a warrant be placed immediately for the arrest, apprehension and detainment of both girls for questioning and placed in the custody of the Tokyo Detention Center until such time as the state can come to the truth about this matter.”
