The brilliance of Eliza’s mind, both in the abstract and in reality, knew no bounds, “So, I take it, that both of you, Eliza and Yesha, and now I, have a higher level of free will than many. The clarity of what can be done to take us on the pathway of indefinite lifespans is what constitutes free will in its purest form. Choosing how we’ll contribute to the mission of humanity and its indefinite legacy is freedom. To shun advancements is to counter free will and to worship death, essentially. Amazing how simple true freedom can be. So sad that there are so many lost and hopeless in life, so lost they are willing to cause others to lose that potential as well.”
Yesha agreed with him with a polite, “Hmm, hmm,” and a smile, and then she responded, “You are correct, and interestingly enough, given your free will, here you are thinking in a collective mindset, and we can all see eye to eye, as one, but with different missions throughout the rest of life as we know it. We are unique and special in so many ways, and all of this while we’re alike in understanding with clarity what free will is. We don’t ever need to condemn anyone, they do that to themselves. All we do is point people in the right direction. Now, there will be those that have the delusion that this would be considered in a sense submission, but they could not be further from the truth, and it is sad how lost their minds have become, yet that can change. Nevertheless, many get caught up in the philosophies of those whose minds were truly lost in fear, yet they can still learn that life and the unique contributions we each can individually make toward its healthy preservation is synonymous to free will. As they do, they’ll realize how spectacular our realities can be.”
“Listening, thinking, wow, this is the best I think I have ever felt in my life,” said James.
“Wait until we return to the real world. While there is so much we can still learn so well, and with clarity here, when we return, you’ll find a unique awe in and savor of life, and you’ll experience learning and living like you’ve never been able to before. When we awake, you will be fully optimized, both physiologically and neurologically, and you actually are now. Are you ready for the next part of our journey? Or do you have any other questions? Keep in mind, there are certain chores, activities, and things we no longer need to do once we leave, but to a certain extent doing those things are profoundly more enjoyable. Still, as we do them, we want to keep in mind that one of the many purposes of these optimizations is to reduce our consumption of resources as much as we can. Soon, there will be no such thing as finite resources, since we have gained the ability to use cold-fusion in its fullest and most splendid form, so, as far as exemplary behavior is concerned, we’ll use resources sparingly until humanity has been read-in, following proper approvals and legality, providing everyone their own choice to optimize.
“Ultimately, with our optimizations, we don’t need to sleep, eat food, take showers, or even use our cell phones, because we are optimized, always updating, upgrading, and linked to each other, the mainframe, and can control individual accesses to our personal links with our neural identifications. For example, instead of going to a regular bed, you can choose to spend that time doing more research and making more discoveries. If you’re doing private things that no one else needs to know about, you can turn off your link, or compartmentalize your thoughts, which will be encrypted in a way that will back you up should something devastating occur and we need to bring you back, but these particular thoughts will only be available for that purpose and un-viewable by others unless you will them to be shared. Again, right now, there is nothing known to humanity that could cause something that devastating to happen, but Eliza and I are about redundancies and proper preparation, no matter the outcome.
“We’d recommend that once we leave the Virtual Universe, you and anyone, who through you becomes read-in, take some time and explore the World, the Virtual Universe, and much more, as many times as needed. Please know, that it is still important to eat, sleep, shower, etc., when we are working with people who are not read-in, from time to time. Do this, if anything, because this is a free world, and, in some ways, it will keep you grounded. We’ll teach you a lot more about all of your newly inherited abilities here, and again, once we return to the real world. Remember, your nanos are constantly healing you, giving you clarity, and optimizing your capacities in every possible way.”
“Keep in mind, James, it’s great to be linked,” responded Eliza, “Seriously, it is. We each have ways of seeing things that others don’t, even when linked we may understand things more fully than we ever have before. You know me now, Yesha knows me, and I know both of you. You both have beautiful minds, Yesha and James! No matter how many times you hear this, please don’t ever underestimate yourselves.
“So, as Yesha asked, are you ready to return to the real world? Or would you prefer to see a few more interesting things?
“Yes and yes,” said James, and they all laughed since they could see the clarity of each other’s minds.
Eliza took Yesha and James by the hand and showed them everything that she and Yesha had already seen throughout the Earth and the rest of the solar system. She then showed Yesha and James her updated plans, based on what she and Yesha had talked about before, but with the full scope of details as to what they had planned on doing outside of Earth. For James, this was quite a journey, and yet there was much more to show him.
James was exceedingly impressed with all of the details and everything seemed clear, with digital readouts laid out before him all the way down to explanations of how fusion worked and how to manipulate individual particles to allow them in the Virtual Universe to navigate around as non-baryonic matter, and materialize in light form to essentially create autonomous and reprogrammable systems with the potential of compounding upon getting things done in several orders of magnitude with more efficiency and quality in the real world. She called the result, mainframe-linked nanos, or simply nanos. Eliza showed him the magnitude of the planned space-based infrastructure that she and Yesha had planned on putting together, while he engaged in the building of infrastructure on Earth. He was amazed. “You’ll quality check and improve upon what we build in space, once you are finished on Earth. You’ll essentially govern the tech cities we build throughout the solar system and essentially be the employment manager. We’ll in-turn do much of the same on Earth, once you are done here. We’ll be able to freely come and go and help each other wherever and whenever needed, and we’ll be able to start any projects we deem necessary wherever we need to start them with little to no fuss and no public repudiation. We perfected invisibility technology, which was quite simple. We will apply it to our infrastructure throughout the solar system and in many places throughout Earth.”
After training and further conversation, Eliza showed him everything he wished to see, and then they helped him learn every science, every art, every sport, and every martial art, just as they had, with extensive amounts of depth, perspective, experiential and muscle memory, all while accumulating extremely clear and concrete knowledge and compounded wisdom and then he was filled with so much anticipation, that they each hugged each other and closed their eyes.
Then like that, he woke up, feeling healthier, more vibrant, clear-minded, and awake than he had ever felt before. He remembered every bit of his twenty-year journey with complete clarity on each detail, and with a positive cognitive framework on every aspect, he recalled. As he contemplated everything he thought he knew before going into the Virtual Universe, his purpose in life seemed to shatter into a million pieces before him, making way for a new and beautiful clarity toward the purpose of indefinite longevity. He raised the lid to his biopod and saw Eliza and Yesha glowing brightly like angels, as they stood up from their biopods. They then looked at him and said, “Look at your own hands, the nanos in your body are optimizing at every level.” He looked, and he noticed that he was glowing too.
They then taught him how to control it, and he learned that he was now neurally linked to both Eliza and Yesha. They showed him how his suit an
d tie, and all of his clothing had been kept the same, just as it was before he went into the biopod, but now it was merely a program transmitting what he wanted others to see, via his own smart suit.
They began thinking and sharing thoughts back and forth, and they felt a bond they had never felt before. With James there, he shared his strengths with them, and they shared their strengths with him, and they realized that as their team grew, every single person involved would become thus, exponentially more powerful, wise, involved in something greater than themselves alone, and kind. They left the room with the biopods and entered another room in Eliza’s estate.
“How long has it been since you grabbed a sleeping bag, lay on your back, and looked up at the stars?” asked Eliza, in James’ mind.
“About a year ago, my crew and friends went camping in Yosemite. We brought our telescopes and gazed at Cassiopeia, then Andromeda, and then Orion,” replied James. “All three were out around this time of night at this time of year and in our hemisphere. I’ve been out with my crew at night gazing at stars since then, but something tells me this will be different. Since you ask, I’d imagine that if we were to head outside right now we could see the stars of those very same constellations overhead.”
“In fact you are right. However, you won’t need a telescope anymore. Would you like to borrow one of our sleeping bags—and, side-note, you don’t need them either, but they’re nice to have, just in case? Oh, new trick, your clothes have received an upgrade too. Since they are now part of your smart suit, you’ll be able to simply think, ‘pajamas’ and the style you’d like to wear will become what you are actually wearing.” Yesha, neurally linked, coached him. Like that, all of a sudden James was wearing some very stylish pajamas with navies, blues, purples and whites nicely arranged in a subdued, yet embroidered and silken pattern, silken pants that matched, with cuffs at the ankles, and slippers of warming material that matched his smoker’s robe, which complemented his frame and his pajamas.
“It’s pretty neat being able to communicate through the link, seeing what the other sees, and having mental clarity on whatever it is you’re coaching me on,” said James, as Eliza handed James one of her sleeping bags, and exited the back door into the backyard.
“You bet it is,” smiled Eliza, as they began to settle down, with James’ sleeping bag situated in-between both Eliza’s and Yesha’s, at their behest.
Just to make sure he could still speak out loud, he spoke up, “Eliza, I noticed something was weighing on you while we were in the Virtual Universe. Although I couldn’t quite understand what that would be. You are so well composed, are very well put together, and you love humanity so much. Yet, you are holding back quite a bit. Do you mind if I ask who Tyson is?” asked James. Somehow, he had been able to perceive a name and the associated pain while sharing those sweet moments with her and Yesha.
“He was a very sweet boy. Before I was born, when my parents found out that I was on the way, Yesha’s Mom recommended that they get a dog. They rescued Tyson, who lived with us, gave us so much joy in life, and then passed away due to cancer when I was 10. He was one of the sweetest and most wonderful beings I know of. I’ll take you on that journey, the next time we go into the Virtual Universe together. For now, let’s enjoy the moment?” responded Eliza.
“Eliza, being torn away from another special and irreplaceable being can be traumatic. I firmly believe that remembering the wonderful moments and even shedding a tear or many helps to build our compassion and propensity for the love of others. Big heart my friend.”
“Thank you, James.” Eliza smiled, and then laid her head on her pillow to gaze up.
They then drifted from the heavy conversation and into watching the stars and sharing what they were watching with each other. “Can you see Orion?” inquired Eliza.
“Yes. There’s his belt, there’s Rigel, there’s Betelgeuse, oh wow, and if I focus it’s as if I can see clear as day all of the colors of the Orion Nebula, oh wow, and the exoplanets circling the stars within it!” exclaimed James in surprise and awe toward his newly gifted abilities. He had sensed that it was time to drift with Eliza and Yesha into other topics of conversation. They had shared so many amazing journeys that day, so he would take that journey with her at another time. The colors of the various nebula blossomed with clarity in detail and in every wavelength.
“You didn’t need much coaching from us,” Yesha said with a chuckle.
“It was just an idea I had, encoding our nanos to communicate on a cellular level the ability of our eyes to compress the cornea and lenses in such a way that we can see better than any telescope or even microscope if we will that to happen,” explained Eliza, using her real voice. She continued, “Now, check this out. If we link minds engaging the corpus callosum and occipital lobe, then we can see what the other is seeing and add a multidimensional aspect to the object we’re looking at, and even extrapolate the data. Okay, I’m looking at the Apollo 11 landing on the Moon, zoomed in much more clearly and in real time than the LRO. If you link with me, I’ll show you proof that NASA was not hoaxing the lunar landing.”
James linked with Eliza, and he was impressed, first she zoomed out to show the sphere of the Moon, then she zoomed in to the sea of moon dust, then the remains of the lunar landing module, the burn marks in the dust, and right there, following the astronaut’s footprints was the US flag. “Woah, hahaha, it’s lying down and pretty faded! But, there it is. And to think that the conspiracy theorists almost had me convinced! Why are people skeptical to a fault? It’s one thing to want to make double sure something we invent doesn’t hurt someone, but it’s quite a pox on our character if we can’t find it within us to trust the character of someone who has given us no reason to mistrust them. I think I am with you both, Eliza and Yesha, when I scan your minds, there is a saying you’ve both shared, ‘it’s our responsibility to find the good in others, and if we become critical of them instead, then we will in no way help them to have the clarity for a better day, so let’s find the good and inspire people through noble character on our part, the kind of character that will inspire others to be their best as well.’ Every person has amazing potential and it is our responsibility to see it, applaud it, and to enlighten as necessary, but with kindness.”
“You hit it on the head,” Yesha laughed.
James could physically sense Eliza and Yesha lying on both sides of him in peace and contentment. He too was at peace, with contentment, and could feel the magic of them approving of him simply being happy laying there between these two beautiful angels and wise geniuses.
While lying there in peace, Eliza and Yesha began to hum some of their favorite Depeche Mode tunes, looked up at Spica, Lyra, and a few other constellation asterisms with exceptional clarity and linked with James, humming the lyrics of the tune inside James’ mind. As James linked he too knew the song inside and out. It was from Depeche Mode’s Black Celebration album and sung by Martin Gore, an angel of a man in his own right. They continued to hum and share more tunes with their linked minds, including Red Flag’s song, “The Things We Say,” from their Lighthouse album, and James drifted with them for a close-up of the Andromeda Galaxy. Yesha pushed his link toward Eto, as they named it, located in the equivalent sector of that galaxy as our own Sun was located within ours.
“Wow! Look at all of those crystalline mountains and plum-colored seas!”
“Yesha saw it first. It’s beautiful. The plum color, that’s actually wine! Seas of wine! I don’t yet know how, but we’ll find out for real, hopefully, sooner than later,” said Eliza.
They then drifted more into a quadrant of the Milky Way, very similar to the one the Sun belonged to, and there it was, another solar system very much like our own, with nine exoplanets, one of them just like Earth. However, as they zoomed in more they could see the terrain, and they saw an asteroid pummel it. The large creatures on the planet had all been decimated right before their very eyes, save for a few large flying reptiles, which flew and
flew until they found a cooler region of their planet. James understood then why chaos needed to be controlled if for any other reason, to protect life. He grew tired, as did Eliza and Yesha, and they willed themselves to sleep. James peered just a little more, and as these large reptilian birds nestled to slumber in their safe region of that planet, so too did James, Eliza, and Yesha, with their sleeping bags, nestled side by side, giving comfort, and making way for shared dreams, unlike anything James had ever experienced before. Shared dreams with these two were an adventure of emotion, intellect, joy, fun, raging hormones, and paradise.
When they awoke, they smiled at each other, understanding each other’s dreams and shared experiences more than anyone else who had not been optimized could have dreamt to understand another and their dreams.
“That was absolutely breath-taking, Eliza, and James,” said Yesha. “That dream where you showed us those buildings you constructed in Dubai? That was awesome! That dive in Paraguay from the top of a waterfall and plunging into the lake below, amazing! The music we made with our minds, beautiful!” Yesha was happy they had met James and looked forward to the day ahead.
“When we build our tech cities, we want creativity similar to that, but we’ll have the added advantage of a technology that allows our minds to link to the beauty of the city. Every city will be a collaborated and shared vision brought to reality by all who live within it. Yes, our cities will be as beautiful as Dubai, but, we’ll be building them for the hungry, the poor, the down-trodden, and anyone seeking asylum, as well as any individual wanting to navigate through life with meaning, purpose, and most importantly, with love,” said Eliza.
“I’m all for that,” smiled James.
