Another picture, legs spread widely and her face with an obscene expression, filled the screen. The text read Last night was fun. We should do it again. I got a sick feeling inside and cursed the woman. Then, I quickly dialed Hillary’s number.

Heartbroken and wounded, she returns to her home and tries to conceive of a plan to move forward without The Mill or Robert.
Meanwhile, how can Robert convince her it’s all a misunderstanding? How can he get her to understand the forces conspiring against them and his willingness to everything in his considerable power to protect her from them?
There is one thing he knows for certain. Even if he could buy the entire world, he can’t imagine living in it without Hillary.
But maybe some things just aren’t meant to be.
