Knight smiled at him, padding to the kitchen to pour a glass of juice. “Want one?”

  “Please. We’ll need the energy.”

“We will? You sure about it?”

“Oh, I’m damn sure about it.” He was going to tear Knight’s ass up.

Knight needed more than any single man he’d ever seen and that was because Knight needed something Rook didn’t have. Not that he was bashing the kid or their relationship, Knight and Rook loved and adored each other, that was clear. But Knight needed someone who was going to stand up to him. Knight needed to give it up and feel.

Bishop took the glass of juice and downed it, waited for Knight to finish his. Then he stepped up into Knight’s space. Knight gasped, body rippling against him. He grabbed the back of Knight’s head and tilted it, leaning in to kiss him. It was a take no prisoners kiss, hard and sure. His kiss.

He’d never felt this way about a man. He could fall in love with Rookie, no problem, but Knight he wanted to devour. He did exactly that, taking the kiss even deeper. Knight pushed back, tongue pushing against his. He grabbed hold of Knight’s hair and tugged his head back farther, which let him keep control.

His cock hurt he was so hard, aching. He pressed closer to Knight, rubbing them together.

Knight pushed one hand against him, rubbing his cock good and hard. Taking Knight’s hand in his, he dragged it behind Knight’s back. “So pushy.”

  “Fuck you, man.”

Oh, Knight was lit up for him.

“No. I’m going to fuck you, Knight. I’m going to fuck you through the floor.” Bishop loved the flash of need in Knight’s eyes at his words. It told him that he was doing it right, that he had read Knight correctly.

He began to walk them to the pillows on the floor. He didn’t believe it could actually be called a bed, though it was comfortable enough. Seriously, a man needed a real bed. Maybe he’d buy one, have it delivered.

First, though, he had a promise to keep. He intended to keep it, too. He intended to more than keep it. He was going to blow Knight’s mind, exhaust his body and prove that he knew what Knight needed and could provide it.

Still holding one of Knight’s wrists behind his back, Bishop got them to the pillows. “Going to make you crazy.”

Knight tossed his head, the look needy and dramatic, all at once. “You’ll try.”

He laughed, utterly delighted. Knight made him happy and determined to indeed to more than just try. “I’m going to turn you inside out, boy.”

He heard a soft, whispered, “God yes.”

Oh yeah. He’d read Knight so right.

Taking Knight’s other hand, he pulled it behind Knight’s back so he could hold both, effectively cuffing Knight. “I’m in charge,” he growled before taking another kiss to prove it.

Knight struggled, offering him one deep moan after another. He could be strong for Knight, give Knight someone to really fight against who Knight couldn’t hurt. And couldn’t win against.

One kiss turned into two turned into many, Bishop holding tightly to Knight’s wrists as his other hand moved over the smooth skin. Knight’s body was tight, the muscles lean and taut. He explored them with his fingers before moving to Knight’s right nipple. He teased that a moment, barely touching it and skirting it before he finally took it between thumb and forefinger and pinched.

Knight growled low. “Touch me like you mean it.”

He growled right back. “I’ll touch you how and when I want.”

Knight wasn’t the one in charge here.

  “You… You’re not like Rookie.”

“Got it in one. If I was just like Rookie, you boys wouldn’t need me.” He’d just be another body then, someone else to play with, to fuck. He wanted his own damn place with them.

“What do you need?” Knight asked.

“Rookie. You. The pair of you hit every one of my buttons and make me excited to be alive.”

“Poetic.” Knight sounded like he approved.

“Poetic and artistic, we must be a match made in heaven.” Bishop went back to kissing Knight, taking control of the moment once again.

Knight opened to him, breathing deeply, wrists twisting in his hands. He loved the fight and so did Knight. He grabbed Knight’s right tit again, tugging on it firmly. Knight grunted for him, the sound soft but so deep. He took that as a signal that Knight was ready for more and he twisted the little bit of flesh, let the corner of his nail dig in.

“Bastard.” Knight tried to sit up, twist away.

“Yep.” He wouldn’t let Knight up, wouldn’t let this boy go. His boy. Jesus. What a thought.

Groaning, he kissed Knight harder, his tongue fucking the sweet mouth. He jerked forward, hips rolling like they were fucking. He couldn’t wait to be doing it for real, to be inside Knight. To feel that tight, hot body around him.

Knight’s legs wrapped around him, tugging hard. Grinning, he rolled them, putting Knight on top, which dislodged his legs from around Bishop’s waist. Knight would learn that he was not in control here, Bishop was. Eventually. Then Bishop was sure the lesson would be forgotten as soon as it was learned. In fact, he thought Knight would enjoy learning this lesson, over and over.

He slid his fingers up along Knight’s sides, thumbs pushing against the pretty little nipples when he got there. Knight was a sexy motherfucker, that was for sure.

Knight arched above him, ass rubbing against his cock, teasing him and driving him mad. He knew Knight was doing it on purpose—pushy bastard. Bishop loved it.

He flipped them again, rubbing his cock against Knight’s hole. “Lube and condoms, man.” The sight of Knight stretching underneath him, rubbing against him, made his mouth dry. He put his hands on Knight’s shoulders and pushed him against the pillows, then repeated. “Lube and condoms.” He needed Knight to focus long enough to get the stuff.

“Uh-huh. Let me reach…” They were there, a line of rubbers and the economy-sized bottle of lube.

“You ever been tested?” he asked casually, opening the lube.

Knight nodded. “Rookie and I went last week.”

  “Good job.”

  “We aren’t easy, just needy.”

“Oh, I know you’re not easy, boy. You’re not easy at all.” He leaned in and gave Knight a long kiss. “And I’m not asking to go bareback with you or anything. I know we’re not there. Yet.” He wanted to be, though. He wanted to be a part of Knight and Rook and their strange, wonderful magic.

“I think we will be, though.” Knight met his gaze, head on. “There’s something there with us.”

Bishop smiled down at Knight, pleased that this stubborn, pushy man had said it, had said it first. “There is.” Grabbing the roll of condoms, he tore one off and handed it to Knight. “Put that on me while I open you up.”

Knight took the rubber, then looked up at him with a teasing grin. “You sure it’ll fit?”

“Long as it’s an extra-jumbo, it’ll be fine.” He winked and slicked up his fingers, taking his time. He wanted Knight drooling with anticipation.

“Ah, so the size of your ego?” The condom was smoothed down with careful fingers.

“No. The size of your need.” He shoved two fingers into Knight, just slamming them home. Knight grunted, shoulders leaving the mattress. Yeah, he liked that. He tugged his fingers out only to slam them in again. Then he wriggled them around, just in case he hadn’t hit Knight’s gland in the first place.

  “More.” Needy little slut.

Bishop worked in a third finger, stretching and wriggling them around before he began finger-fucking Knight in earnest, pushing them in hard and deep. He changed up the angle slightly with every shove in until he found Knight’s gland, then he stayed right there, pegging it constantly. Knight’s lips dropped open, deep, wild cries in the air.

Bishop kept it up as long as he could, but Knight’s writhing and the tight heat around his fingers made him need. So he yanked his fingers out and pressed his covered cock again
st Knight’s hot little hole. Knight bore down, body tugging his cock in.

“Eager, pushy boy.” Not one of those words was a complaint—they were all compliments. Bishop kept pushing, moving until he was all the way in, his cock held incredibly tightly.

“Just…just know what I need,” Knight managed to mutter.

“Love that about you.” He fucked Knight, keeping the pace slow, easy, watching Knight’s eyes. Knight met every thrust, one after another.

Bishop got his hand around Knight’s cock, pulling hard as he thrust. It made them a circle of pleasure and Knight’s cries and arches urged him on.

“Yes. Yes. Bish. Bish, come on.”

“Don’t you want it to last all afternoon?” Bishop asked, slowing slightly.

“That’ll take a lot of lube.”

Bishop had to laugh, and he pressed in, body jerking. “You’ve got a huge tub there, I’d be more worried about the condom giving out.”

  “That too. All the things.”

He sped up again, ramping things up and hitting Knight’s gland again. “We’ll do all the things, eventually.”

  “You swear?” Knight asked.

“I do. And with three people, that’s a fucking lot of things to do.” He was up for the task, though. And he knew Knight and Rookie were, the two of them so full of horny energy he could fuel the building with it.

There was an idea. Sexual power harnessed.

He leaned over Knight’s body, thrusting harder, gazing into the dark eyes. “Gonna come when I tell you to?” he asked, pretty sure Knight was going to curse him out just for the idea.

“Fuck you, man. I’ll come when you get me off.”

Bishop laughed. “Then I’ll get you off when I tell you to come.”

  “Details. Harder.”

“Nope. Not yet. I’m running the show.” He slowed down again, proving it.

  “Bish!”

Oh, he could fall in love with that wail.

He kept the pace there for a moment or two, making his point before he moved faster, speeding up until he was back to where they’d been, right in the pocket, right where he needed to be to send them both over the edge.

“Wait for it,” Bishop murmured. “Just wait.”

  “Uh-huh. Hear you.”

  Good boy.

Bishop found Knight’s gland and pushed against it a few times, then he began banging on it in earnest, sending Knight higher and higher. When he could see in Knight’s eyes that he was about to go over the edge, Bishop called out, “Come!”

The sweet body clenched, and Knight shot, spunk spurting from him. The tight heat around his cock made him cry out. He was close. So fucking close. He ran his hand through the spunk on Knight’s belly, and brought his fingers to his mouth. The first touch of cum to his tongue had him crying out again and he shot, filling the condom.

  “Kiss me. Please,” Knight begged.

Bending, he did. It was what he wanted, too. Bishop wanted to kiss Knight until neither of them could move. He stayed buried a moment longer, fingers sliding on Knight’s sweat-soaked skin. Knight stared at him, watched him, and he held the gaze.

“You get what you need, boy?” He had to push, he had to.

Knight offered him a lazy grin. “Not bad, Bish. I think I’ll keep you.”

  “I just might let you.”

Shit, who was he kidding? He wanted Knight. He wanted the sweet Rook, too. He knew instinctively that they were all pieces that belonged together.

  Epilogue

Rook ran up the stairs to Knight’s place, taking them two at a time, and burst into the loft. He was so excited. “Knight? Bish! I’ve found it.”

He stopped short at the sight that met him. There, in the middle of the space where the pillows and blankets lived, was a bed. A huge bed that would fit all three of them with room to spare. In the middle of the bed were the two sexiest fuckers he knew.

Laughing, Rook went over and jumped on it, bouncing on the mattress. “Look at this!”

“What did you find, Rookie?” Knight grabbed him, gave him a happy kiss.

He wrapped his arms around Knight’s neck and kissed him back, then he gave Bishop a quick kiss, too. “The perfect place for this magnificent bed.”

“Huh?” Knight grabbed his sketchbook again, pushing Rook into Bishop’s arms, then frowning. “Also, too many clothes, Rookie.”

Bishop snorted. “Now there’s something you don’t hear very often.”

Rook giggled happily and tugged his shirt off.

“I found us a house,” he said, once he was fully naked and settled in Bishop’s arms. “I like the bed.”

“A house? We have a place.” Knight’s pencil moved across the paper, their images appearing.

“Uh-huh. This place has an amazing back room with these huge windows for your studio. Space in the basement for a gym, a bedroom big enough for more than just this bed, plus three more besides. The only drawback is that it has an enormous kitchen, which is kind of a waste,” Rook added with a laugh.

“A gym? I’d like that, Rookie.” Bishop kissed him again. “Are you going to let us see it before you make an offer?”

“Yep. I already put in an offer to make sure we didn’t lose it, but if you guys hate it, I can back out.” He wriggled happily. “But you’re going to love it. It’s like it was made for us.” Someplace that was theirs instead of his or Knight’s or Bishop’s. Theirs. Something that belonged to all three of them.

  Knight chuckled softly. “Impulsive man.”

He shrugged. He was. “Maybe. But this was more than that. I’m in love.” With two guys.

Which made him the winner of this particular match.

  Prologue

Rook sat across from his lawyer, watching as different expressions flitted across the man’s face. Rook knew this was big. It was bigger even than coming to Mitchum and arranging the purchase of the sex toy shop. Way bigger. Like of a magnitude of probably a million. Nonetheless, if they were going to do this, they needed to do it right and no matter of embarrassment or weirdness was going to keep him from that goal.

Mitchum’s mouth dropped open, closed, then opened again a few times. He really did look like a fish. One of those strange ugly ones with the sharp teeth and an odd face and the little light that hung from their forehead to attract prey. Only with Mitchum it was the overhang of his godawful toupee—was there like a law or something that said lawyers couldn’t get decent rugs for their balding heads?

Between that thought and the fish one, Rook nearly lost it. Instead, he bit the inside of his lip—hard enough he could taste the copper penny flavor of blood. But it was worth it because he knew if he laughed, Mitchum would never take him seriously and they needed to make sure this document was binding. For both sides, damn it. Everyone needed to be protected here.

He and Knight and Bishop had been talking about a fourth for a long time. They’d hoped someone would appear, so
meone who fit naturally and wanted to be a part of them. Someone who completed them naturally. They’d looked. Hell, they’d looked a lot. But it had to be someone they all liked, they all had chemistry—or at least could have chemistry—with. And it had to be someone who didn’t freak out at the idea of joining three guys who were in a monogamous with each other relationship. And no one-night stands. They’d had a lot of guys wanting to orgy for a night, maybe two. But that wasn’t what they were looking for.

So, Knight—and why was it that most crazy guy out of the three of them had come up with the most logical solution?—had suggested that they hire someone for the job. Someone who was willing to commit a year to being their communal boy, who was willing for them to do anything, or almost anything, to him, for the right price. They’d decided a million dollars was fair, that it was that right price.

  “You can’t do this.”

Ah, Mitchum had finally found his voice again and it was clipped and short—very pinched.

“Sure I can,” Rook countered. He could and he was. They were. Him and Knight and Bishop. Together.

“You can’t just-just-just buy someone. That’s slavery and it’s illegal. No contract will make it legal.”

Rook shook his head. They’d talked about this, too, about how they weren’t buying a slave, how this was paying for services and they wanted to make sure it was very clearly outlined what was and wasn’t allowed and what happened if the contract was terminated early by any of them—they paid out the million in full—or by the contractee—they prorated the million and paid out based on the number of days on contract.

“It’s not slavery. We’re paying for services. He’ll know exactly what he’s getting into. That’s why we want the contract. Everything is to be above board.” Rook leaned forward. “If you can’t draw up a contract for me, I can take my business elsewhere. And I don’t mean that as a threat, I swear. If this makes you too uncomfortable to do, I can respect that.”
