She began moving on him, still not breaking eye contact. It was something Dante had never fucking experienced, what she was doing to him, where she was taking him. His heart hammered in his chest as he followed her into the forbidden parts of her, where all the dirty things hid and festered.
She let him in. She fucking let him in.
At realizing it, Dante wrapped his arms around her, pressing her chest tight to his. His mouth at her ear, his face glued to hers, he whispered, “Are you ready?”
“Yes,” she gasped, her body trembling as she clung to him.
He used his arms to move her and his hips to drive his cock. Her sharp cries in his ear were unlike any sound he’d ever heard, he’d tried to imagine what she’d sound like and there was no way he could ever have nor could he have imagined what that sound would do to him. The tight clasp of her pussy and body as he worked her on and off his cock soon overtook him until it was all there was, all he felt, that and those sounds in his ear.
He picked up his pace until he bucked his hips, the head of his cock hitting her core in time to his hammering pulse.
Then she broke, God did she fucking break. Her body went rigid with it and her cries turned into non-stop shrieks. Dante let himself go then, he dove headlong into it with her, holding her tight to him in every way he could, with his mind, his heart, his body, he gave her the hardest fucking orgasm he’d ever experienced. Not a fucking orgasm. He’d had orgasms and this wasn’t that, this was the equivalent of the Big Bang. Two worlds colliding and creating something that defied all logic and reason. And yet there it was, existing in all its impossible glory. That was them. That was fucking them, living evidence of something that shouldn’t be possible but was. It so goddamn fucking was.
Chapter Twenty-Two
Rin clung to Dante after, unable to let him go, unable to open her eyes, unable to come back from where she was.
“I got you,” he whispered, his hand stroking over her head and back. He’d been repeating that for a while now and she felt herself slowly melting and relaxing in his hold until she had no strength. He lifted her off of him and she gasped as his cock slid out of her. Her feet touched the floor but her legs had no strength.
“Princess,” he whispered softly, lowering her down.
The wall pressed into her back and she sat, dazed and breathless still. She remained that way with her eyes closed, and suddenly he was there, moving her dress straps back in place. He scooped her right up into his arms and held her close.
A peace filled Rin and she clung to his neck, laying her head on his shoulder.
“I got you, baby,” he whispered, pressing his mouth to her forehead.
He released the deadbolt on the door and the pulse of the club music flooded into the small room. But none of it reached her. She was still lost inside him, still a part of him.
She closed her eyes and focused on the beat of his heart as he carried her out of the club and deposited her carefully into his car. She sat right next to him, resting her head on his shoulder. “I don’t want to go back there,” she whispered.
“Then we won’t,” he said. “We’ll get a hotel.”
“I’m sorry,” she said, tears welling in her eyes.
“Don’t fucking say that,” he whispered tenderly. “I get it. I wouldn’t want to be there either.”
She closed her eyes and put her hand on his chest and he pressed it tighter to him. It didn’t matter where they went really, just not there. She’d rather sleep in the car if she had to choose. Even if he hadn’t slept with that girl there, she couldn’t stop the bad feelings she had when being in that house, that room. It might have been a lie but the fact that he had slept with her at all, made it feel true.
Dante’s phone rang and she sat up so he could answer it. He glanced at the caller ID for a few seconds and tossed the phone back in the console.
“Who was it?” she finally asked, worried what Rex and them would say.
“Didn’t recognize the number,” he mumbled.
He pulled her back in his embrace and she finally asked, “You think they’ll be mad?”
“Who?”
“Rex and Jo?”
“Nah,” he said. “They’re cool. They know I come and go at my own will.”
She laid her head back on his shoulder, smiling a little, draping her arm over his chest while thinking about their first time. “It was … better than anything I’ve ever known how to dream of,” she whispered.
He caressed her face, his large hand warm and protective. And tender. “I can honestly say,” he mumbled. “You were my first.”
She looked up at him, curious.
He glanced several times at her, his look incredulous and making her smile. “Nobody has ever taken me to the place you did.”
Her joy came out in bubbly giggles. “Where did I take you?”
“Well, it was kind of fast and I didn’t get a good look around. I think we need to visit there again real soon so I can draw a map to it.”
She laughed and hugged his neck, pressing several soft kisses to the side of his face. “I think it was Heaven,” she confided softly.
It was his turn to laugh. “My cock is nodding in strong agreement.”
A light gasp escaped her at the mention of that part of him. That part of him that was able to bring her to such an impossible place.
“At least wait till we get to the hotel room before you start driving me crazy again.”
She bit her lower lip, smiling. “I drive you crazy?” she asked.
“Fucking … insane,” he gushed. “Yeah, you like that?”
“I do,” she muttered, her smile impossibly big. She’d never made anybody feel good like that. She’d never had any amazing impact on a man. And wow. The feeling was better than anything she could begin to describe

A dozen kisses along with a Goliath amount of self-control later, Dante left Rin tucked in at the hotel room while he went to Rex’s for their stuff. The second he got on the road, he dialed his number and eyed the low gas gauge.
“Where you at man?” Rex said answering.
“Hey. I’m headed there now to get our things.”
“What’s up, why?”
“Rin isn’t comfortable there. I know Jo didn’t mean anything bad but she told Jessica what I told you guys, and that fucking bitch paid Rin a little visit and caused me a world of shit.”
“Holy fuck I always did hate that cunt,” he growled. “Jo’s going to take her head off.”
“Leave it man, it’s done. But I got bigger problems. I got a call tonight from the Big Bad Wolf.”
“Who the fuck is that?”
“Her ex. Fucker called me right from his house.”
“Tell me what you need,” he said, his tone low and dark.
“I need answers to questions about him. He’s dirty but I gotta find it.”
“I got a friend.”
“Figured you did,” Dante spotted a gas station and headed to it.
“If there’s something to be found, Bink will find it.”
“He’ll need to be careful. I can’t have him knowing I’m on his ass.”
“She’s one of the best snitches I know. If there’s something to find, she will find it discreetly.”
Fuck, the last thing he wanted was to add another female to Rin’s insecurities. “Yeah, what kind of chic is she?”
“An old one, don’t worry.”
Dante nodded. “You read me like a book, brother.”
He shot out a deep laugh. “You know what they say about birds of a feather.”
“That they usually get shot with the same bullet?” He pulled into the gas station.
“You didn’t hear? I eat bullets for breakfast.”
“Right,” Dante laughed. “Because Jo hides them in your scrambled eggs.”
Rex found that hilarious and finally managed, “Fucking bitch has me by the balls with those green eyes of hers.”
Dante chuckled. “Well
, at least you’re admitting it now.”
“Too bad knowing isn’t half the fucking battle.”
“What you gonna do about all that?” Dante asked, turning his car off at the gas pump and eyeing the mostly vacant establishment.
“You know she wants a ring, right?”
“She said that?” Dante smiled.
“No, she just raves and ooohs and awwws about every goddamn woman’s wedding ring she sees.”
“Damn man,” Dante chuckled. “So buy her one.”
“A wedding ring?” he shrilled. “Next she’ll want me to marry her!”
Dante busted out laughing. “That’s kind of the point, yep.”
“Says the drifter.”
“Nah.”
“Nah? Nah?” he asked. “What does nah mean?”
He shook his head, his grin huge. “Means … I’m not drifting anymore, that’s what.”
“Ohhhhhh,” he hissed, sounding thrilled. “Do I hear wedding bells?”
“Yeah, yours.”
“No!” he shot. “Not yet!”
“Come on man, time to plant those seeds, make some little T-Rex’s.”
“Yeah, when you plant yours and make some T-Claws, I’ll plant mine.”
Dante’s smile slowly faded as he considered that. “Wow,” he said, as the weight of the realization hit him hard in the chest. “Fuck.”
“Wow fuck what, man?”
“Wow fuck I’m pretty sure I just did,” he said on a huge shaky breath. Yeah. He’d just done that. Holy shit, he’d just done that.
Rex finally broke the awkward silence. “Well I’ll be a mother-of-a-butt-fucking-monkey,” he whispered in astonishment.
Dante couldn’t think of a more perfect expression for what was racing through his mind.
