He nodded, “Anytime. Just as long as I’m able to wash up beforehand. After working in a hot kitchen all night, well... it’s not exactly romance friendly.”
Quesys chuckled. She pressed her body against his once more. “I’ll see you Saturday then.” she grinned as her eyes moved downward. Lifting her gaze back up to meet his, she crinkled her nose and added, “Until then… at ease First Mate Sunny.”
Lake’s ears blushed. Adjusting the front of his uniform, he watched the she-elf walk away from him and called out to her, “Aye, aye Captain.”
Quesys didn’t turn back. She was too busy beaming.
