Captive Thirst: Mafia Romance (Rough Redemption Book 4) Page 14

  I felt invincible.

I put a hand on each of Carlos’s shoulders, bringing my breasts together and they bounced in sync with my pussy which pummeled his gorgeous cock.

“Oh fuck, baby. You’re getting it.” His voice was a rutty promise. “You’re getting all of this cum. I’d hold onto something if I were you.”

  That look again.

  Agony.

  Ecstasy.

It did strange things to my insides while I held onto the headboard for dear life, Carlos was using my hips to slam me down onto his horse-sized shaft.

My orgasm came on like a sneaky wave, slamming over me before I even saw it coming. My senses were shattered by its battering power and filled only with him.

My husband, all muscled and unyielding beneath me.

  My protector.

  My daddy.

He was still moving hard and fast, flexing his well-built hips and snapping into my wet heat.

My body still trembled from the first orgasm.

Suddenly, his back arched and he grit his teeth, shoving forward, fitting himself inside me as perfectly as a key in a lock, and when his pulsing cock gushed into me I gave into the moment with total surrender, a wave of sensation tumbling through me.

Laying on his chest, a single sheet pulled around us, his words vibrated through me, “I’ll never do anything to risk losing you, Gabriela.” He swiped the pad of his index finger across my brow. “Promise.”

I returned his affectionate whisper, “Give me all of you, Carlos. Do that and you never have to worry about losing me. Love me as I love you—like it’s life or death.”

That’s how we fell asleep. Him with his arms around me. Me using his chest for a pillow.

  It felt like home.

She didn’t let me stick around for her first ride. Said it made her too nervous, and that meant Prancer would be nervous too.

So I spent the morning with her father, hammering things out like two above-board colleagues in a board room instead of male rivals born to wrestle the affections of one female, one he’d fathered, one I’d daddied, from each other.

Our cause for collaboration was legitimate, not profit driven.

  To keep Gabriela safe.

There was enough residual tension between the Jaliscos and the Sinaloans to last a lifetime.

“We get the General five additional points of syndicate profits and he’ll be incentivized to drop his grudge against you.” I said.

Serrano clasped his hands over his head protectively, “Money doesn’t always motivate a killer, Drago. He's a weapon. Don’t let that fact slip from your memory. You can use a sword as a walking stick, but that doesn’t change its nature.”

“We offer the additional five percent to the Jaliscos, because eventually, we’re going to need the extra muscle. Those points come out of your meth business. There will be no more of that in either of our family’s business.” I knew I was pushing it, but I’d gotten his daughter to agree to a visit with him, and now he owed me one.

  Big time.

He frowned and said, “I’m becoming soft in my old age.”

“Is that a yes?” I asked.

“Believe it or not, as I grow older, peace means more to me than profit. If you think the deal will help smooth things over between us, help protect my family, I’ll try it. You’ve done alright so far.” He gave my upper arm a few claps.

I couldn’t wait to tell Gabriela.

Later that day, the groom at the stables let me know she was waiting for me in my office.

The same place I’d discovered she was a girl, and threatened to pull her panties off. The exact spot where I’d fucked her pretty mouth while she knelt on a pillow.

It was where I met her for the first time, and right then I knew I had to have her, that she was made to be mine.

If my dick were a horse, his ears would be pricked and his tail arched.

  Ready.

  Excited.

I had to have her even though she’d already made me come this morning. Would it ever wear off, this lust we had between us?

  Her touch burned me.

  It healed me.

But it wasn’t the only thing that made me need to put my hands and mouth on her, to take all her pain away.

Gabriela was my joy and I needed her to be happy.

More than I needed it for myself.

If I could just witness her delight for the rest of my life, I’d be a man fulfilled.

“Jeez, took you long enough.” She said as soon as I opened the door to the office, and she sat cute as a pixie on the couch.

“Blame your dad. I was ready to go, but he kept wanting to talk about his feelings.”

She snorted. “Yeah right, that’ll be the day.”

“He loves you, gorgeous.” I picked up her hand and kissed the back of it.

She curled her lip and spoke. “If that’s true, he has a really funny way of showing it.”

I gave a half shrug, pulling her towards me and shared my thoughts, “Think about what he was born into, what a struggle it’s been getting to this point in his life. He moved his family to a foreign country and has had to fight the entire step of the way. Existence hasn’t been easy on him, but he did get you out of it.” I released an appreciative sigh, “He knows that makes him a lucky man. Underneath that gruff exterior is a man who cares for you deeply.”

Gabriela gently shoved my shoulder and asked, “Are you about to get your period or something? Why so emotional all the sudden?”

I pulled her to me on the couch, tickling and said, “I’ll show you hormonal.”

  “Ouch! My wounds!” She yelped.

My breathing was fast and shallow and my eyelids pulled back, fully opened. “I thought you said you’d healed all the way. That’s why I let you come ride today.”

Slowly, she folded one arm over the other and crooked a brow at me, “Let me ride?”

  “Uh…” Shit.

“I’m fucking with you, Drago.” She whapped my arm with her palm. “You should see your expression.” She doubled over, giggling, and slumped sideways onto the couch.

  It took her a minute.

Once again, I was drawn to her. Watching her crack her own self up. Ours would never be an easygoing kind of love, uncomplicated by silly drama, not given the families we were born into. But I was captive to her love and laughter. She was everything good in my world.

Her laughter continued, husky and open.

I interrupted, “Look, just don’t pee on my couch okay? I’m rather fond of it given a number of things that have gone down on its cushions.”

Come to think of it, I couldn’t remember going down on her here, had I?

She took me by surprise by announcing, “I got you something!” She pulled an envelope she handed me from within her inside jacket pocket and bounced her beautiful ass up and down on the couch while she waited for me to open it.

  “What’s this?” I asked.

“Just open it already!” She made cute, tiny air claps without allowing her hands to touch.

Peeling back the paper, I pulled out a ticket that read, “Alton, VA. 3 Day Formula Racing School.”

I scrubbed my palm over my heart.

“What do you think?” she asked.

“It looks like tickets to the Formula 2000 Racing course. Are you fucking kidding me?” My heart was thudding, and I felt like a little kid at Christmas time.

“I’m not fucking kidding you, Carlos. You said you always wanted to race, well now’s your chance.” She made a game-show host gesture with her arm.

I felt like a puppet on a string, some great master holding my limbs up, weightless.

Our families were far from easy-going, but everything was easy with her.

“What did I ever do to deserve a woman like you, Gabriela? I must have been a very good man in some former life.”

She flicked her hair back and with a gleam in her eye, chirped from the co
uch, “Nah, you just hadn’t met me yet. Keep hanging out with me, daddy. The best is yet to come.”

“She’s going to eat the goddamned bouquet.” My papá’s tone was fierce, but the corners of his mouth turned up.

“Vida!” I hollered, lifting the skirts of my wedding gown and running over to where our pet nuisance was nibbling at the dahlia leaves Lorenzo put into the main bouquet.

For once my mother put her foot down, demanding a formal ceremony for me on top of the impromptu wedding that happened at the Diamante. This was her day as much as it was mine.

The mother of the bride looked stunning in a silk gown the color of wild lilacs with a skirt that went all the way to the ground, her body still voluptuous beyond belief.

I held Vida’s leash and turned her away from the altar where I’d married Carlos again, and caught my dad ogling my mamá. She was still a beautiful woman, even more so now that she was coming into her own as Señora Serrano. She’d convinced my father to back her investment into the local Piece of Cake Bakery, where she was now running a line of pan dulce—Mexican sweet bread made with a crispy and delicious, cannabis-infused topping.

  They sold like hot cakes.

As of now, a legitimate Cannabis business was it as far as the drug trade went for the Serranos. True to his word, papá backed out of the meth trade entirely, and since then, things between our family and the Jaliscos had been peaceful.

  No more kidnapping attempts.

“How does it feel to be a twice married woman?” The voice that made my stomach dip spoke behind me. I turned towards him, the faint sea breeze coming to a complete hush as I watched my Drago approach.

  I held my breath.

He still did it to me with the strange kind of animal magnetism that drew me to him.

“It just keeps getting better,” I answered, relinquishing Vida’s leash, and Carlos passed it to one of his men.

“I’m glad your mom put her foot down. Inviting everyone we know to the Lost Coast Acres is perfect, and you… you’re so gorgeous in that dress… I just might have to fall in love with you all over again.” Carlos put a hand on his heart, and pretended to stumble backwards. I covered my face with my hands and felt my cheeks get hot. He was so handsome it was sometimes hard to believe, and he could still make me blush.

“Hey.” He took my hand in his huge one and tugged, “Let me show you something in the barn real quick.”

I wasn’t falling for one of his tricks and said, “Don’t get any ideas about a roll in the hay, Drago. I’m wearing high heels and a designer dress.”

“No, no. It’s alright, come here,” he soothed.

Standing in the first stall of the stable, was a sight that nearly made me pee. His coat was dappled gold, his mane and tale completely blond, and he had a stripe of white down his nose that ended in a pink splash which currently bobbed at me as I approached. He nickered.

“What have you done, Carlos?” I asked.

“You mean what has your father done? He’s the one who found your breeding stallion and brought him here from Abu Dubai.”

I couldn’t breathe, holding my fingers over my mouth and staring wide-eyed at the equine masterpiece. “Papá?” I could do nothing but gawk, paralyzed with disbelief. “He’s mine?”

My father’s eyes sparkled and gleamed, “Si niña.” He pulled me into his arms and embraced me, kissing the top of my head.

After all these years, my father had softened, allowing himself the luxury of displaying his affection, and for once, he looked as happy as I felt.

It must be lonely being more powerful than anyone you know. My marriage to Carlos not only sealed my fate with a man who put butterflies in my stomach and a smile on my face, but introduced my father to a cadre of men who were as fiercely relentless in their pursuit of success as he was.

  The Drago famiglia.

Carlos returned from the tack room with a copper-colored leather saddle over his arm. “You do have your husband to thank for this,” he said. “Handmade and tailored to your exact measurements. Why don’t you take him for a little spin?”

  “Get my boots.” I commanded.

The last thing I heard while galloping away from the festivities, and towards the long length of sandy beach was my mother’s voice trailing after me. “¡Ten cuidado Gabriela!” Be careful!

There was no stopping the pull of my heart as I faced the sea and felt the salt air on my skin. My dress blew out behind me, but the Arabian stallion beneath me didn’t spook.

I came to a stop on the shore right at a tributary’s edge. “How about we call you Marengo? You look like a Marengo to me. Think you can make that jump?”

Marengo pawed at the sand, eager to go. I patted his neck with one hand, and held him back with the other. He wanted to run as much as I did and in that, our hearts had one beat.

  One pulse.

  One stride.

  One word: run.

I leaned over his neck, and whispered the single syllable in his ear. Run.

We galloped away from the freshwater spill into the ocean, back towards the wedding, in order to get a good run at the brook with its two foot drop off. If we went fast enough, we’d make the four foot jump.

Marengo took off towards the stream, and the salt spray kicked up in an arc behind us where we raced, at the edge of the shore.

“Hope the sand comes out of wedding dress, boy.” I told Marengo. “Yeeaaw!” I coaxed him, urging him to go faster, cueing with my legs to run full speed.

Tears leaked out the corners of my eyes and flew past my temples we went so fast, chasing off sandpipers, seagulls… outrunning our fears, the dangers, the monsters in our closets.

We cleared the brook and landed safely on the other side.

The ocean breeze called to my soul, and through the stirrups, I felt the thundering hooves of freedom.

  Epilogue: Four Years Later

“This restaurant is enchanted or something. Seems like every time Dragos fall in love, they spill the beans about the babies in this place.” Jessica said, her voice faintly registering in my ears, along with the indistinguishable chatter of customers in Mario’s restaurant.

“Say it again,” I ordered Gabriela, clutching my gut with my hand.

Honestly. Who knew that true happiness, bone-deep happiness, felt a little like you were going to hurl?

“I told you. We’re going to have a baby,” she said, watching me intently for my reaction.

“Don’t fuck with me, Gabriela.” My voice wavered. My wife had won more than her fair share of races over the years, but this feeling was more amazing than sharing any of those winning circles with her. “Carlos, please. Your language. Babies can hear their parents from the womb you know.” She put a hand over her stomach as if guarding our baby from my profanity.

  Our baby.

Holy fuck, I was going to lose it.

I snatched the red, cloth napkin, a signature statement of Mario’s restaurant and hid my leaking eyes.

Blindly, I reached out for Gabriella and pulled her to me.

  She whispered, “Are you crying?”

My throat felt like I’d swallowed a dozen razor blades, and my words were guttural when I replied. “What? Real men cry you know?” Mortifyingly, my voice cracked.

It hadn’t done that since middle school.

“You know what else real mean do?” she murmured softly.

I shook my head behind the concealing napkin.

“They take their pregnant wife home when she feigns morning sickness at dinner time.” She purred, cat-like in my ear.

Dammit if she didn’t make me laugh. I pulled the cloth away from my face and said to her deadpan, “Such a bad girl.”

Lorenzo hollered after us as we scurried towards the front exit, “No that’s okay! I’ll get the check. Think of it as an early baby gift.”

Gabriela was dragging me out of the restaurant, and
I shouted back over my shoulder, “Don’t worry, I’ll pay you next time I see you!”

I wasn’t willing to wait another second to get my wife naked, and it seemed she was even more impatient than me.

Once inside our home, Gabriela shucked her clothing like corn husks and ran naked out to her fairy lit castle in the tree.

Jogging after her sun-kissed body, I flipped every article of clothing I wore off on the lawn and chased after her.

When I entered the tree house behind her, I came upon her sweet, swaying bottom which stuck out from the bed post, her two hands gripping its wooden pole above her head.

“God, daddy. Hormones make me so fucking horny.”

Her words made me swell even thicker, and I approached slowly from behind, admiring the view. I wrapped my hands around her delicate wrists and leaned forward to whisper in her ear, “Shh, be quiet now. Daddy's going to fuck you powerfully like a stallion."

Gripping the base of my erection, I teased her folds, coating myself in her wetness.

I felt invincible, taking her from behind this way, a soft, feminine creature who had the power to make this gangster cry.

The power to make my heart stop at the thought of anything happening to her, and it was that sense of helplessness that drove me to rut into her hard.

Gabriela was wet and ready for it, pleading, “Is this pussy yours? Are you going to come in it?”

Her legs opened to receive me and I pushed my heavy, heaving erection further into her. "That's right, baby. I'm going to plant my seed in you again. We're going to make a whole herd of Dragos."

From the chest down, I watched my body buck into hers, forcing myself to slow down as she took my hot, thrusting cock into her pussy.

She pressed her bottom closer, shoving herself onto my now rigid dick. I spoke roughly, through gritted teeth. “I can't believe I get to fuck this pouty, angel pussy for the rest of my life."

I let one hand slide down to grab a fistful of her hair, pulling it to arch her back so that blunt underside of my shaft massaged the most sensitive spot inside of her.
