Myria looked at her mother excitedly, as Leon remained indifferent from the outside. If one looked closely, they would see shivers of excitement hidden in his stubborn looking eyes.
Demetria smiled as she heard the alliance member’s responses, she flapped her wings spinning around in the air along with a few more fairies, the tiny form of Myria also flying up high along with the other fairies.
Soon, they each turned into rays of blue light which started to spiral around each other forming waves of blue spiral energies. After a short moment, these spiral energies soon after encircled the Life Source Halo.
Piiiiiii! As if it received some strange magical command, the Life Source Halo started to glow brilliantly, as the spiraling energies around its form spun faster and faster. Instantly, a blue rift no small than a kilometer formed in the air rippling with a vast amount of spatial energies.
The moment Feng Yu saw this rift, he couldn’t help but open his mouth in surprise due to unexpected magic. Jing Mingyun seeing this reaction teased with a smile, “So, it’s only now that you finally react...”
Not giving time for Feng Yu to make a retort, the figure of Queen Demetria once more materialized in the air along with the previously spiraling fairies, she looked towards the army, below and yelled, “We march to our enemies!!”
“For the glory of all kinds!” Instantly, the alliance members roared in unison as they jumped from the ground as their bodies were pulled towards the rift in the sky. Demetria and the fairies had already flown through the rift, followed after by Zyne and Leon.
As she saw this, Jing Mingyun started to float from the ground as she grabbed Feng Yu’s wrist and spoke, “Let’s go!”
Swoosh! Their bodies beaming through the rift, before Feng Yu could even react leaving behind a horde of natives who swarmed to the skies soon after vanishing within the rift...

The sky was dark as a dark pressure swept across the reconstructing Dark Palace, the palace walls were silent, and its corridors were filled with a strange type of grief. The relentless rain continuing to shower this land as if the heavens itself was grieving for this bleak world.
Inside of the Palace Command’s room, the figure of a tall blue-skinned fiend could be seen seated on top of a chair, the constructs within the room mostly broken but still in a state of repair.
A few fiends were currently kneeling on the ground before this individual, as they spoke in a slightly nervous tone.
“Palace Lord Kefalas, it’s not that we haven’t tried, but we simply cannot gather any details regarding the troops sent to seize the Fairy Hideaway. It could be that there is a shielding mechanism that shrouds the Radiant Forest, or that the instruments given to the army leaders were destroyed...” one fiend said as beads of sweat trickled down his forehead.
Kefalas frowned as he heard these words, he opened his mouth and spoke, “Nonsense, how can their shielding capable of blocking those artifacts details... it is even more nonsensical to assume that those weakened fairies and natives are capable of seizing the army leader’s communication artifacts! Have you forgotten the ones sent on this mission? The Dark Supreme Elder along with Titana should be more than capable of handling any threats; in fact, I refuse to believe that they would even need to act personally. Vandus, Kiria, and Ulan’s forces are all that is required to capture the enemy...”
“But sir Palace Lord...” another fiend was about to interject but he was soon interrupted.
“Silence!!” Kefalas shouted and could be heard even in the distant mountains, he stood up from his chair as his auras rose rippling across the room.
“I don’t need your opinion. I only need results, you will find out the status of the army and report to me by the end of this day!! If you don’t find out what’s going on, then forget about living in this entire Endless Rain Zone!!” Kefalas said in anger, after saying this he waved his hand and spoke.
“You are dismissed!”
The fiends hearing his words, bowed once again and took their leave, however, before they could entirely exit the room there was a sudden change.
Bangg! The command room’s door was slammed open as a panicked looking guard leader entered into the room. He rushed towards Kefalas location and shouted.
“Palace Lord, there's trouble!”
Kefalas was about to reprimand the man, but he canceled this idea after hearing his words, he looked towards him with a deep gaze as he spoke, “What’s the matter!”
The guard swallowed his spit before speaking, “Its... its....” He tried to explain what was going on, but before he could say anything, there was a sudden change.
Rumble! The entire dark palace shook as if something was coming into being.
Suddenly, feeling this ripple of energy, Kefalas rose to his feet in shock, “What’s going on?!” After he said this, he flew to the outside of the palace room followed by the fiend elders and guard leaders quickly arriving at the palace courtyard that was now illuminated by a bright cyan light that shone from the heavens.
As he lifted his head to look towards the sky, a shocking scene unloaded, a massive rift whose end could not be seen had formed in the sky covering the clouds that were behind it.
Buzzz! Upon fully forming, this rift then began to make some droning noises as the special energies within the word grew to chaotic proportion.
As Kefalas saw this, he started to shake as she spoke, “This is a portal of ancient times. The Fairy Clan's mass teleportation rift!!! How can this be?! Wait, the life source...”
Kefalas had finally seemed to realize how this rift of old sprung into being, but before he could say anything the scene within the sky changed.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
Instantly, groups upon groups of silhouettes could be seen at the summit of the sky. They floated in the air using flying artifacts while those that could naturally fly utilized their tiny wings.
A few forms stood at the forefront of this large group, their clothes dancing with the turbulent winds formed by the rippling of space, as they calmly looked towards the palace below them.
As Kefalas saw these people, his mouth opened wide as his eyes shrunk to the size of needle points, but soon, a voice woke from his shock, “Fiends of the Dark Palace, prepare yourself! For we have come!”
The voice resounding throughout the area as if declaring a new rule, the fiends of the Dark Palace looking up with shock and terror as the prelude of the end was set into motion...
Chapter 144
The Fall of the Dark Palace, A Rainless Sky!
Crackle! The sky shook as an ominous thunder streaked across its horizon, the clusters of dark clouds sparking with electric lights as a harsh rain drowned the land, however, as this scene occurred, there was one particular location that seemed to be fettered from these dark forces.
A massive blue rift rippling with an inexhaustible amount of spatial energies covering a broad section of the cloudy sky, this area was completely devoid of the continuous showers leaving behind only a heavy oppression that came from the massive number of figures who floated above the open sky.
If one looked below them, they would see a large number of fiends standing at various key positions of the Dark Palace's grounds; they gazed up above them with varying expressions on their faces, with the majority of them being that of fear rather than surprise.
However, this scene only lasted for a moment as the leaders among these fiends were quick to react.
“All fiends to battle stations!!!” A loud resonant shout echoing across the entire palace, the figure who spoke carried a dominant air as his body was clad in a special type of armor whose runes shone in a mysterious light.
“Yes, sir palace lord!” The fiends responded in unison, quickly moving about to prepare for the sudden attack by their enemies.
Kefalas having shouted the command to the entire palace army still kept his eyes upwards, his cold eyes sweeping across the individuals who stood at the airborne army’s forefr
ont before stopping on the figures of Zyne, Myria, Jing Mingyun and then Feng Yu...
As he saw the human who caused his plans to fail, a towering amount of killing intent rose from his being. He fixed his eyes on Feng Yu before speaking, “You damn human! If it weren’t for you would things have come to this? If I don’t catch you to peel your skin as I break your soul, then I am not the Palace Lord!!!!”
Feng Yu smiled as he heard these words, showing no sign of shock or fear he looked Kefalas in his eyes as he spoke in a calm tone, “It seems you’re misunderstanding something, dear Palace Lord...”
“Oh, and what’s that?” Kefalas whose anger was boiling to its peak asked with a sneer on his face.
“You seem to think that we are here because we avoided your army’s pursuit, but sadly for you, this is a raid...” Feng Yu said calmly as he looked towards Queen Demetria whose hand was already lifted high in the air.
The last few sets of alliance members had only just now finally arrived from the rift, and the entire army was completely gathered waiting for their leader's command. The leaders of each race looked towards Demetria in silence as a deep, but firm look in their eyes as their moods were ready for battle.
Kefalas who seemed to not understand what was going on finally asked, “Huh? A raid? Hahaha! You seem to think that because of my momentary shock that I’ve lost my mind and would fall for your goading. I don’t know how you managed to escape the main force, nor how you managed to recover this ancient teleportation rift under their noses, but your attempts to strike here thinking that we won't be able to resist was a foolish move.”
After Kefalas said this, he looked towards his left at an elder who was standing calmly and nodded his head, “Do it!”
The moment the elder heard Kefalas’ words, he snapped his fingers causing a small pillar to rise up from the ground, on the top of this pillar was a strange rune pattern that was currently dim. The elder placed his palm on the pillar and then sent some of his energies into it, quickly the rune started to glow in an orange light flowing down a few strange lines that trailed below the pillar into the palace grounds.
Rumble! The palace shook as if something strange was about to come into being, Demetria seeing this finally revealed a smile on her face as the arm that she had lifted in the air fell to the ground as she commanded, “Being the attack! Destroy those pillars and kill the enemy!!”
The alliance army hearing this promptly reacted by charging downwards with all their might as the yelled, “Kill!!!!”
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
Quickly, the sky was filled with beams of light as well as blurry shades which descended towards the palace grounds looking no different from locusts swarming a field. Kefalas frowned as he saw the enemies charge, he looked towards the elder and sent a voice message, “How much longer will it take?!”
“Reporting to the Palace Lord, ancient Titan Cannons are still warming up as they require roughly the time it takes of incense stick to burn before they fire a few salvos...” The elder replied.
“Chet! Dammit, if we had a bit more time, this wouldn’t have happened!” Kefalas said to himself, not wasting any time he promptly flew towards the sky with the company of the Elder Fiends as she commanded, “Prepare to meet the enemy! Charge!!”
The fiends hearing this quickly reacted, those who had flying artifacts soared towards the sky in clusters as those who couldn’t reach them in time stood firmly on the palace grounds ready to meet their foes head-on.
Within moments, both forces finally came together as their clash began, the bodies of many fiends were falling from the sky as the current natives where vastly more equipped and organized than their current unprepared enemies.
Boooom! A shocking number of shockwaves scattered across the palace area, as the battles between the mighty alliance leaders and fiend elders had already begun, their collisions instantly creating a region void of all lifeforms as the fiends and natives caught within their combat zone were destroyed by their shockwaves or blown away due to the sheer forces.
“Pull back now!” The voice of a fiend leader said as he retreated from the palace walls with a few of the guard fiends.
Piiii! Ka-bang! Immediately after, a large number of rays beamed towards the palace ground, breaking through the asphalt as it generated large energy explosions decimating any nearby fiends who were too late to avoid their range.
If one looked closely, they would notice that within these energy explosions were mighty natives whose bodies were fully clad in energies, they rushed towards the glowing pillars which shone with strange powers launching more long distant ray attacks to break them down to pieces.
“Dammit they’re destroying the Titan pillars, stop them!” A prominent fiend leader said as he rushed forwards to block a few of the enemies, the guardian fiends hearing this rushing forward immediately to block them.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
Not long after the rays of light destroyed these pillars, a few forms materialized out of thin air as they rushed towards the fiends in a ghostly manner, they slaughtered any fiends who got within their range like wolves hunting chicken.
“Watch your backs their Spectors Lifeborns are among th--!” Another fiend leader said, but before he could finish his words an illusory hand ripped through his chest before tearing his body apart.
“Gwuaaa!” The fiend leader wailed in a pain for a short moment, before his mind faded into eternity.
As these shocking casualties and destruction occurred below, the scene above the palace grounds was an even more horrible disaster.
Kefalas looked towards the unmoving leaders who continued to watch the battle around in a manner no different from a crowd watching a game in pure shock.
The normal alliance leaders were completely oppressing and destroying the fiend army without the need for them to make so much a single move. Finally, he couldn’t bear it as an ominous feeling rose in his heart, he looked towards Demetria and spoke, “You... you... what’s going on? How can your leaders be so powerful? Weren’t sources injured?”
“Erm?” Demetria who seemed to have not been paying attention to Kefalas finally removed her gaze from the battlefield, hearing what he said, she looked towards him with a calm look before speaking, “Let’s just say, we have been born anew...”
As she said this, she looked towards Zyne who nodded his head, gripping the handle of his Bright Hammer tightly as he floated forward appearing within Kefalas field of vision. A dark smile was on Zyne’s face as he spoke in an overbearing manner, “Hahaha! I bet you didn’t think you’d have this day? Eh, Kefalas? Do you remember what you said to me the day my power was sealed?”
As Zyne said this, a dense number of veins formed on his forehead, as his muscle bulged to a terrifying degree.
Bang! Instantly, a powerful aura rose from his body bringing his battle power far beyond its limit to a level even higher than most of those in the 1st Cycle of True Soul realm.
Kefalas sensing the might behind Zyne’s attack become struck in terror as he knew full well as the recovered Zyne meant, he pleaded, “No! It was all Reinz fault! I didn’t mean it!”
Zyne hearing his words finally spoke in a deep voice, “There is a heaven above the heavens, a being beyond a being. Today, I will show you what it means to live a living hell!!!”
Swoosh! Zyne figure vanished instantly appearing before Kefalas like a ray of light, his arms now lifted above his head holding the elongated handle of the Bright Hammer which was now a size of 50 meters.
Piiiii! A bright light shone from the hammer illuminating this section of the entire palace, the battling fiends seeing this in the distance instantly feeling a strange kind of oppression as if this light was a bane to all things fiendish.
As Feng Yu saw this, he couldn’t help but take in a breath of air as he couldn’t hide his surprise. He muttered to himself, “Such strength, it is most definitely at the level of a transcended...”
“Um. While this is only the limi
t of Zyne's sealed strength, it is the level one must achieve if they wish to become a true power warrior; those below this level can only be considered as high-class practitioners at best. The advantages of our races are that we will naturally grow to this level...” Jing Mingyun said as she heard his words.
Feng Yu couldn’t help but feel surprised but, as he thought to his own Supreme Blood Clan and his now vastly superior, Paragon Bloodline, he didn’t think of it as being strange.
“If only the best among the awakeners in my previous bloodline were capable of achieving this degree of strength, how much stronger will I or rather, my clansmen be able to grow with the current change...” Feng Yu thought to himself.
He looked towards Zyne and Kefalas once more and spoke, “It seems that this battle has come to its end...”
Jing Mingyun hearing his words nodded as she replied, “Um, this is the end of the Dark Palace...”
As if proving their words to be true, the hammer which has been glowing with a dense amount of energies swung towards Kefalas with unstoppable momentum.
Kefalas had been trying to move his body and avoid the attack the moment Zyne had appeared before him, but to his shock, he found that he couldn’t move as a strange aquatic blue rope binding his body as the lips of Demetria seemed to have moved momentarily.
Her voice seeping into his mind as if preluding the end, “I originally wanted Zyne to handle you himself due to his own grudges, but who told you to bully my daughter...”
As he heard these words and felt his dire situation, Kefalas could only look at the angry Zyne and the massive hammer which soon after eclipsed his view of the word. He lifted his head and roared, “Nooooooo! Great Excellency! Why are you not helping? Why have you betrayed us?!!!”
Boooommm! A massive bang ensued as the grounds of the palace sunk deeply breaking off a majority of the palace ground, not long after was an explosion light of pure energies which created a beam of light that shot towards the depths of the sky.
This beam instantly collided with the clouds causing it to send ripples of energies outwards for miles. Eventually, the dark clouds within the sky vanished as pure azure sky finally revealed itself, giving a hopeful mood to this previously dismal world.
