Jin Wuya seeing this finally recovered from her shock, ignoring his previous words as if she didn’t hear it, she quickly asked as she now knew what was happening, “So your spirit didn’t leave after helping the human…”
“Heh, how could I? That brat even dared to taint my daughter if my true self was here, he would certainly be unable to calm his anger for a few eras!” The green haired man said, as Jin Wuya heard this she smiled and replied, “Well, it serves you right, who told you to leave her in the first place…”
The body of the green haired man started to fade faster, as his playful expression now changed becoming a serious one, he looked at Jin Wuya and sighed before speaking, “My time is up… so I’ll get to the point, you should already know why I left my child here, she is the only one who can keep that thing at bay for anyone of your class or mine will not be able to use properly our strengths in this broken universe, doing so will cause more harm than good…”
Jing Wuya hearing this also nodded her head and replied, “Indeed…”
“Little Crow… I came here only to warn you of one thing and one thing only…” The green haired man said in solemnly as his body rapidly began to fade away, Jin Wuya remained silent as she looked at him in a serious manner.
Just as the green haired man’s body was about to vanish, he opened his mouth and said his last words, “Be wary of those in shadows…”
The instant he said this, his figure completely faded away, returning the separate strand of consciousness towards its main source in a distant place in the endless universe. Jin Wuya replayed his words in her mind repeatedly before gazing towards the horizon with a deep look on her face as she spoke to the wind, “It seems their appearance here was only the beginning…”
As she said this, her figure vanished into the Dragon Palace leaving behind her words that slowly trailed off into the distance, echoing across the now empty and silent battlefield…

About the Author
Hey guys, my name is Orane Campbell and I am from the small but loud island situated within the Caribbean known as Jamaica, born in the parish of St Ann in 1991. I began to publish the Dual Sword God book series under the pseudonym Shadows Finger.
I am a professional Web Developer, and UI Designer with a bachelor’s science degree in Information Technology from the University College of the Common Wealth which I graduated from in 2015. While focusing on my own career I have come to find writing as a very interesting hobby, usually I had mostly engaged in art for a large part of my childhood to adulthood and have always loved drawing comics, creating characters and engaging worlds.
What got me into writing a wuxia fantasy series, however, was my not love for creating artworks or comic series but an interest that piqued the very moment I started to read eastern fiction and martial arts fantasy books.
