“Well, I am having a good time with her, but she’s more than just a fling. I thought she knew that.”

Beck shook his head. “I told her how I felt this morning, but I think you need to talk to her, too. She needs to know all of us are serious about her, that we all have feelings invested in this relationship, that she means something to us.”

“So you’re saying I need to spill my guts and open up about my feelings and all of that girly shit.”

Beck’s lips tipped up on the corner. “Yeah, I’m saying you need to do ‘all of that girly shit’ and maybe more. I’m waiting on a special delivery for her, Cody is pampering her today, so the question is what are you going to do?”

  “Hell.”

“That’s kind of what I thought. You don’t have a plan, do you? Have you even thought any further than your dick?”

“Of course I have! It’s just, I’m not good at expressing myself. What if, after all this mess is over with, I take her on a picnic or something? Hell, I don’t know.”

“I think that’s a good idea,” Beck said.

“Ash said something while he was on the phone, something you need to know. Cody, too.”

  “What’s that?”

“Gemma’s in trouble and she won’t accept help from her brothers. Aunt Peggy is worried about her, which means Mom is worried about her. She was dating some asshole that beat on her and now she’s staying in some trailer that Ash said is falling down around her ears. He thought one of us might be able to talk her into leaving home, maybe heading this way with her brothers.”

Beck snorted. “Like she’d move in with them.”

Beau shoved his hand in his pocket. “I was kind of thinking maybe she’d come stay with us. If we’re all going to be with Elodie, we might as well make it official. We can special order a bed for the master suite and move all our things in there. Cody, too. It would free up the two spare bedrooms.”

Beck stared at him a moment. “You’re serious, aren’t you? You’re really ready to make that leap.”

“Yeah, I am. I know I said I’m no good when it comes to expressing myself, but I want Elodie with us…forever. I think one of us should marry her.”

Nothing could have shocked Beck more. Not that he wasn’t all for it, but Beau was the last person he expected to volunteer for a ring and forever kind of commitment. As the oldest, he supposed it would make sense for him to ask her, but he had a feeling he’d have to fight Cody for the honor. Maybe he should just step aside and let Cody marry her. They could always have their own ceremony where they each committed themselves to her. It might not be legal for her to marry all three of them, which in his opinion wasn’t fair, but it didn’t mean he’d feel any less married to her. Hell, he’d even wear a wedding ring to make sure everyone knew he was off the market. Just the thought of it brought a smile to his lips.

“From that look, I’m going to assume you like my idea,” Beau said.

“Yeah, I think it’s a good one. Think we can convince Elodie to tie herself to us for the rest of her life? I mean, one guy would probably be taxing enough, but we’re asking her to take on three permanently.”

“I bet we can sell it.” Beau smiled. “I think she’s rather taken with us.”

“What would you think about Cody marrying her? Officially, I mean. We could have our own ceremony with the family where we pledge ourselves to her.”

“Something tells me he’d like that. And of the three of us, he’s the most well off so she’d be taken care of if something happened to us. Not that I’m expecting all three of us to kick the bucket at the same time, but stranger things have happened.”

“I’ll talk to him about it tonight. Knowing him, he’ll have a wedding ring picked out and purchased by morning.”

Beau laughed. “I’ll order the bed when I head in for lunch. I looked into it when Elodie moved in with us. There’s a store online that caters to people like us who are in a ménage relationship. Hell, the bedroom might not have much room left after we put in the new bed, but it will be worth it.”

“It’s the size of the other two rooms combined. I don’t see why it wouldn’t be roomy enough. Not like we’ll be in there all the time.”

Beau arched a brow. “With three men wanting her attention, you don’t think she’ll spend a decent amount of time in the bedroom?”

Beck laughed. “Good point. Let’s not wear her out though.”

“We should probably talk to her about birth control, unless we want kids right away.”

“She isn’t on any?” Beck asked.

“No. I already took a chance with her once, but unless we want to wear condoms until we’re all ready for kids, I suggest we talk to her about getting on the pill or something.”

“I’m guessing she doesn’t have insurance.”

Beau shook his head. “I thought maybe we’d add her to ours. If Cody marries her, it would be easy enough to do. Although, right now he has his own insurance. Probably better than what we have for the ranch.”

“Yeah, but now that he isn’t riding bulls, he doesn’t need the plan he has currently. It isn’t like he’s going to get gored around here. Not unless he wanders into Samson’s paddock.”

“Remember, he wants to train bulls for the PBR. Maybe he needs that coverage, after all.”

Beck shrugged. “We can discuss it later. The important thing is to make sure Elodie is covered. We can always hire her as a housekeeper or something so we can legally add her to the ranch insurance.”

Both of Beau’s eyebrows lifted. “And you think she’ll be okay being called our housekeeper?”

“Probably not, but it was a thought.” Beck studied him a moment. “What if she’s already pregnant?”

“Then we start our family a little sooner than anticipated. Normally I keep my head, but man, she was there and suddenly I just couldn’t wait another moment to have her. I’d already used the condom in my wallet.”

“You couldn’t go upstairs and get another one?” Beck snorted.

  “We were in my SUV.”

“Please tell me you didn’t take her on the side of the road in town, or something else equally stupid.”

“We were still on the ranch property. About the only one who was going to see us would have been you. All of the hands were occupied on the other end of the property.”

“Thank God for small favors,” Beck muttered.

“You know, if Elodie is really sleeping right now, why don’t you talk to Cody about this whole marriage thing? We need to make sure he’s on board.”

“You don’t need my help out here?”

Beau shook his head. “Nah. Go on. Elodie is far more important than what I’m doing out here.”

“I’ll come out here and do my share after I talk to Cody. Surely a sleeping woman only needs one man guarding her.”

Beau shrugged. “I’d feel better if you were both in there, but if you think it’s safe enough, come on back out.”

  “I’ll think it over.”

Beck headed out of the barn and back to the house. He walked up the porch steps as quietly as possible, and made sure the screen door didn’t slam closed behind him. If Elodie was asleep, like he thought, he didn’t want to wake her. They’d worn her out the night before and she deserved to get some rest. Especially since he planned to wear her out again, just as soon as that package arrived, he thought with a smile. He toed off his boots by the door and went in search of his brother.

He found Cody in the living room, kicked back in the recliner, the remote in one hand and a bottle of beer in the other. It seemed his brother was going with the “it’s five o’clock somewhere” mentality this morning. If it were anyone else, he’d worry, but he knew Cody didn’t drink all that often.

“How’d the talk with Beau go?” Cody asked when he spotted Beck standing in the doorway.

Beck moved further into the room and sat on the sofa, propping his feet on the coffee table. “I think it went well. That’s actually why I’
m in here looking for you.”

“Me? What do I have to do with your discussion with Beau?”

“We were thinking that maybe one of us should marry Elodie, make sure she understands that we want her forever and not just for right now. Actions speak louder than words, and all that.”

Cody’s eyebrows lifted and his eyes widened a little. “You want to marry Elodie?”

“Not me, per se. Actually, we were thinking you might want to do it.”

Cody visibly swallowed, his Adam’s apple bobbing. “Me? She wouldn’t accept me. I just met her yesterday. No, it should be Beau or you. You’re the eldest.”

“Maybe, but she seems to have connected with you. I’d be willing to bet that she’d say yes, especially if you explained that she’d be marrying all of us. It’s just that you’d be her legal husband.”

“And Beau and you are okay with that?”

“She belongs to all of us, Cody. It doesn’t matter to us whose name is on the license. All that matters is that she knows she’s ours and that we’re hers.”

Cody nodded. “All right. I saw a jewelry store in town on my way in yesterday. I’ll swing by there before dinner. Think Beau and you can keep an eye on her later on today?”

“You’re going to miss out on the fun. That package was scheduled to deliver right around lunch.”

Cody smiled. “I’ll have my moment with her. Maybe I’ll wake her up real sweet before lunch.”

Beck laughed. “You do that. Just don’t wear her out. When I was talking to Beau, I reminded him that she needs to rest some. We can’t be coming at her all day every day. She’ll be tired of the lot of us real quick if we do that.”

“So we each give her our special brand of lovin’ today and make her a pampered princess tomorrow. Maybe someone could take her into town to get her nails done or something. Even a small town like Grizzly Pines has to have a nail salon. Hell, you know how southern women are about their nails and hair.”

“I somehow don’t think Elodie is your typical woman, but I’m sure she’d enjoy getting her nails done. I’d take her by the hair salon, but I’d be worried she’d cut off all that long pretty hair.”

“Now that would be a crime.”

“If you don’t need me around here for a bit, I think I’ll work with one of the horses in the corral. I’ll be able to see the house from there and I’ll clip my phone to my hip and put it on vibrate in case you need to call me for anything.”

“I think we’ll be okay. It isn’t like you’re going to be far away. The question is does this Casey person realize there are now three men in this house? Or will he think she’s all alone with Beau and you outside?”

Beck frowned. “As much as I hate to say it, he’s probably been watching us. I’m sure he’s seen you by now. If nothing else, he’ll see the extra truck out front and maybe think twice about entering. We can hope, anyway.”

“Go on. I’ll see you at lunch. I think I may go wake Sleeping Beauty in about twenty minutes. That should give me plenty of time to please her before lunch.”

Beck grinned and rose to his feet. “I’ll see you in a bit.”

Turning, he headed out of the living room and went straight to the back door, where he pulled on his boots. Quietly opening the screen door, he eased out onto the porch, closed the door as silently as he could, and tiptoed off the porch.

  Chapter Ten

Elodie stretched and opened her eyes, focusing immediately on the hot cowboy lounging in her bed. She smiled and stroked Cody’s cheek. The man really was too delicious for words. They all were. How she’d gotten so lucky she’d never know.

“Did I sleep too long?” she asked.

“I was going to give you another five minutes then I was going to wake you up. Not because you’re sleeping the day away, but because I’m horny and I want you.”

She couldn’t help it, she laughed. At least he was honest.

“So what did you have in mind, cowboy?” She gave him a flirty smile.

He pinned her arms over her head. “I’d kill for some rope right about now. I’d love nothing more than to tie you up and feast on this delectable body of yours.”

Her heart raced at his words, pounding wildly in her chest.

He grinned. “Next time. I’ll have to be sure I get some extra soft rope for this delicate skin,” he said as he caressed her wrists.

“I’d like that.” Was that her voice? That breathy, sexy-sounding voice?

He released her and with one flick of his wrist, sent the sheet flying, leaving Elodie exposed to his hungry gaze. His eyes burned with unquenched desire and she licked her lips in anticipation. Now free from his grasp, she slid her hand up the hard expanse of his chest, feeling the crisp hair tickle her palms. In her opinion, he was wearing far too many clothes, especially for a man lying in bed with her. Shouldn’t he be naked?

“What do you want, my sweet Elodie?” he asked, nuzzling her ear. His tongue teased the outer shell, before he gently blew inside.

A shiver raked her body, of the good variety. Her nipples puckered and she clenched her thighs. What did she want? More like, what didn’t she want? She didn’t even know where to start. She wanted his hands on her, his mouth. She wanted him to ease the ache that was already building inside of her, just knowing that he would be inside of her before too long.

“You have to tell me what you want,” he said against her throat, as he trailed kisses down to her collarbone, then across to the other side.

“I want your mouth on me,” she said in a soft, breathy voice.

She felt him smile against her skin. “My mouth is on you, pet. Is there something specific you want it to do?”

She shook her head. “I just want…I just want you, Cody. All of you.”

“You can have whatever you want.”

As he eased his way down her body, the hair on his chest scraped against her sensitive nipples, teasing them. She moaned and arched her back, not wanting the contact to go away. She needed his hands and mouth on her, his cock filling her, and she needed it now! And yet, she didn’t want to rush their first time together alone.

His lips caressed her skin as he traced a lazy path down her body, stopping here and there for a nibble or a lick. Her thighs spread as he settled between her legs, his shoulders pushing her wide open to him. She had no doubt that she could use a trim by now, but it didn’t seem to bother her men. She’d thought of shaving it off completely, and wondered how it would feel to have his tongue against her sensitive flesh with no barriers.

“You’re thinking awfully hard up there,” he said as he kissed her thigh.

“I was just contemplating shaving down there and wondered what it would feel like to have your mouth on me when I’m bare.”

His head jerked up and his gaze clashed with hers. “Are you serious?”

  She nodded.

  “Whatever you do, don’t move.”

He rose from the bed and went into the bathroom. She heard him banging around and then heard water running. She couldn’t imagine what he was up to, but a moment later he returned with a towel, wet rag, razor and shaving cream.

“Do you trust me?” he asked.

  “Of course.”

  “I promise to be gentle.”

He helped her get settled on top of the towel then he placed the hot wet rag against her pussy, wetting her. When he smoothed the shaving cream on her, she fought a giggle. His fingers tickled as they swept through her hair down there. And then she held her breath. The razor was in his hand and he had a look of intense concentration on his face, his eyes focused on her. She felt a little tug as the razor moved through her hair, but true to his word, Cody was gentle and there was no pain. No nicks or razor burn, just gentle swipes of the razor against her. It only took him maybe five minutes to finish, then he was wiping her off with the rag again and drying her with the towel.

She felt a breeze against her skin down there and thought if felt strange, but not in a bad way. It was a little awk
ward to be splayed on the bed while Cody returned the items to the bathroom, but he’d told her to remain as she was and she wasn’t about to budge. Maybe she’d get a reward for good behavior, she thought with a smile.

Cody returned and crawled up the foot of the bed, sliding up between her legs, and leaned over her. He captured her lips with hungry urgency, devouring her. The kiss was hard and fierce, then gentle and lingering. Finally, he released her and gazed down into her eyes, his darkened with passion.

“You’re mine, Elodie. Never forget that.”

“Yours,” she said softly. “Always yours. And Beau’s and Beck’s.”

He grinned. “Yes, you’re ours, I guess would have been the proper way to phrase that. We aren’t letting you go, darlin’, not now, not ever.”

  “Make love to me, Cody.”

  “I’d love nothing more.”

His hands caressed her, his callused fingertips brushing against her skin in the most delicious way. He buried his head against her neck, gently sucking the skin along the column. It made her tingle in all the right places and she wrapped her legs around him. Her heels dug into his denim-clad ass, reminding her that he hadn’t stripped yet. She didn’t know what he was waiting for.

He made love to her with his mouth and hands, long and slow, paying special attention to her breasts. The rose-tipped peaks were tightly beaded and throbbing as his lips closed first over one, then the other. His tongue lashed the sensitive bud, drawing a moan from her lips. She tunneled her fingers through his hair, holding him against her, not wanting the sweet torture to ever end. Every tug on her nipple sent a shockwave of pleasure straight to her clit until she was aching with need.

As he settled between her legs once more, his breath was hot and moist against her now bare mound. Just knowing what was to come made her spread her legs further. God but she wished he could be buried inside of her at the same time as his mouth made love to her. She’d give anything to feel that long, hard cock of his filling her pussy as his mouth sucked on her clit. She had no doubt she’d come harder than she ever had before, but since the man couldn’t turn himself into a pretzel that was never going to happen.
