“But what if I want to find one nice normal guy and settle down?” I asked. “And now he can never satisfy me in the bedroom because I like—“
“Tanya,” Eric shook his head like he was speaking to a silly child. “I swear you’re too innocent for your own good. You’d be surprised what ‘normal’ guys are into once the bedroom door is locked. “A freak, huh?”

I chuckled. “Gee, you should be a shrink, Eric.” I turned toward my car.
“Yeah, that’s what I was thinking.” He grabbed my arm and pulled me back toward him for a goodbye kiss. I heard the crickets chirping and it was nice being there with him, even though I knew he’d never be “the one.”
“Bye Eric,” I said as I got into my car.
“I’ll call you,” he said.
“Whatever,” I replied, not sure if it mattered one way or the other. “But do me a favor. If you’ve given Alexis my number, go wipe it out of her phone while she’s busy.
“Will do,” Eric said casually.
I drove away, knowing I never wanted to see Alexis again. But I did have her to thank for helping me sort out my “turn-ons” and “weird-outs.” Maybe I should change jobs, though, so there was no chance of running into her again.
Regardless, all I wanted was to go home and get some sleep.
