My eyes widen, glad that Bomber isn’t here to see my red face.

Me: Don’t flatter yourself. I need your help at the shop today and then you will be forgiven.

Bomber: Then I’m there, Prez doesn’t need me today so I’m all yours.

Me: Cool, I’m going in the shower but pick me up in an hour.

I rush off into the shower, the whole time I’m thinking of Bomber. Images of him joining me makes my body warm and I wish that our wet bodies would be so close to one another. I wonder what he looks like completely naked and if those bright tattoos spread from his chest and other areas?

When I eventually get out the shower, I glance at my phone to see a new message and smile naughtily when I read it.

Bomber: You hot tease. I need another shower!

  ***

I stand back and take it all in, I can’t help but smile and I turn around. All my shelves are up to display some cute little accessories, the dark wooden floor is laid down and the rest of the wallpaper and painting is all done. All thanks to Bomber, and Baby. Once Bomber saw everything that needed doing, he called on Baby. Bomber and my cousin get on great and I think Bomber gravitated towards Baby is because Baby accepted he was back and what he had done as he should.

“All that’s left is the rail on the walls.” Bomber informs me. They will be going under the shelves and display more clothes. This is only a small space and I want it to display as much as I can without it looking too cluttered.

“You got a sweet place here.” Baby nods. “You moving in upstairs?”

“I don’t know.” I shrug. I don’t mind living above the shop, but I would prefer to have it as my studio. Where I can work on more designs or have my stock stored up there for my online shop. I’m using the now empty room that stored everything for the shop as a little kitchen and toilet area.

“Yeah, dad ain’t too happy with Drew. He’s always getting on at her, thinks someone’s going to break in.” Baby mumbles, and it sounds to me as though he feels the same about Drew’s living arrangements as his father.

“But she has great security up there.” I protest. “So much that I don’t understand.”

“Yeah well you better get used to it.” Bomber adds. “Because your Uncle Franky and your dad want the same installed here.”

All I can so is nod. I would be stupid to not want my business highly protected. “Then I’ll have you to teach me.” I smile over at him.

Baby clears his throat. “Yeah, mind if I go now. I don’t wanna watch my cousin getting freaky with a brother. It’s bad enough watching Drew run back to the tattoo shop.” He rolls his eyes and I gasp. Baby laughs. “Yeah, I might joke around but I see shit.”

I can’t believe he knows about Drew’s hidden crush on Sketch. All the girls suspect it but Drew always denies it. I know she loves tattoos, but I often wonder where the interest began. Sure, all the men in our lives are decorated with them, but you don’t see me running out to get one but if I found myself attraction to a tattoo artist then it might persuade me.

“Yeah, sure. We haven’t got much to do anyway.” I answer him, thinking if I should let Drew know that her little brother is on to her.

Baby gives me a cuddle, and slaps Bomber on the shoulder before walking to the door. “Look after my cousin.” He points back to Bomber and I can’t help but feel a little awkward.

Bomber nods in his reply and when Baby leaves, he turns to me with the naughtiest look in his eyes with a matching mischievous smirk. “Finally alone.”

“Don’t be getting any ideas.” I cross my arms over my chest and Bomber’s eyes zero in on my breasts. The sound of Baby’s bike rumbling is the only sound.

“I can’t help it.” He pouts.

“Get to work.” I nod towards the rails that need drilling into the wall.

Bomber wiggles his eyebrows as he reaches down to grab what he needs. I also take a risking glance at his toned behind. “I love it when you boss me around.”

  “I never do.” I laugh.

“Are you forgetting most of our childhood?” He asks as he gets to it.

“I don’t know what you mean?” I ask, watching him as he works. I have to admit, a man as gorgeous as Bomber with a drill in his hand, concentrating as he works is sexy as hell to watch. A tingling sensation stirs down below and I fight hard not to get caught up in the feeling.

Bomber laughs as he fixes the rail to the wallpapered wall that was finished yesterday. “You were always telling Scrappy and I what to do. Your mother used to laugh and call us your personal slaves.”

Memories of a younger self rush through me and I smile. I have tried my best to block any memories of Bomber from me, and now as I let myself remember they fill me with laughter. I used to blackmail them to buy me sweets, build me dolls houses and even play with me, otherwise I would tell my dad and they knew how much my father doted on me. Any sign of me being unhappy and Scrappy would get the blame, maybe that’s why he takes it upon himself to watch over me still.

As Bomber continues with the next rail, I open my laptop and look at the business cards and poster designs I have been sent through. I need them for promoting and me and the girls have come up with a brilliant idea for promoting each other. Whenever I have a customer, she will get gift cards for the salon and whenever Drew and Tasha get clients, they get special rewards at my boutique. Lauren is a fashion blogger, so she has some ideas for me through her magazine column and I can’t help but feel excited for what’s to come.

“I’m real proud of you, ya know?” Bomber comes to sit beside me on the floor.

  “Thank you.” I blush.

He looks me right in the eyes, hazel meeting blue and I’m overwhelmed at the connection I feel.

“You’ve been through some crap recently, and you’ve proven how strong you are by coming out the other end.” I smile, but the secrets I am keeping from him form a little hole in my stomach. “You’re building your own little empire Lissy. I’m glad I’m here to see it.”

“I’m happy you’re back too.” I lean on him, letting him comfort me.

All of a sudden, the door opens and I hear girlish laughter. Before I can escape Bomber’s hold, I see Drew and Natasha, and their eyes widen when they see us on the floor.

“We came to celebrate.” Tasha holds up a bottle of wine.

“But we can rearrange?” Drew asks, a hint of smile on her painted lips.

“No, that’s fine girls.” Bomber removes his arm and I immediately mourn his touch.

“It’s ok, we can leave you to it?” Tasha adds as Bomber stands and gathers his jacket.

I follow suit, putting my laptop away and leaving the decision to tomorrow. I eye Bomber as he talks with Drew and Tasha.

“I have to get back to the clubhouse anyway and I’m already late.” He snickers to himself.

“You didn’t say.” I frown at him.

“I had an excuse babe.” He kisses me on my head. “Besides, Prez can’t be too mad when I tell him I was helping his niece now, can he?”

“Make sure to mention she was alone.” Drew adds. “He will feel bad then.”

“Erm, I need the toilet.” Tasha blurts out. “You coming?” She looks to Drew, who frowns in response but when Tasha’s eyes widen, and she pulls Drew along into the back room, Bomber and I laugh.

“OK, that wasn’t embarrassing at all.” I giggle.

“Nah, it was fine.” Bomber reaches out for me and holds me against him. I look up and hold back the need to beg him to stay. “I gotta go.”

“Ok.” I sigh, but none of us move.

“I need to kiss you.” He groans.

“What are you waiting for?” I whisper, and it doesn’t take a second for his lips to crash against mine. His hands disappear into my hair and he growls against my mouth. I return this kiss just as eager, I’ve been dreaming of his kisses every night since the morning in the clubhouse.

I hear giggling behind us, and we break apart.

  “Have fun.
Bomber speaks in a low and pained voice. The hardness of his erection showing me how turned on he is. “Shit how am I supposed to ride my bike like this?” He shakes his head.

“I’m sure you will manage.” I kiss him again.

“Babe, you ain’t helping.” He moans and I break away laughing.

We walk outside to his bike and I wave him away. Drew and Tasha are waiting with huge smiles when I return. “Don’t!” I threaten them.

“What?” Drew laughs. “It’s not every day I get to watch my little cousin making out.”

At her teasing laughter I point at her. “If we talk about Bomber, then I get to drill you on Sketch.”

At that her mouth shuts and Tasha is the one laughing. She holds the bottle up and some glasses she retrieved from my small kitchen. “Let’s celebrate this gorgeous place girls!”

With a warning look to Drew and her sticking out her tongue in response, we get to drinking. Maci shows up twenty minutes later. “Sorry I’m late.”

  “That’s fine.” I welcome her.

“What kept you?” Drew asks and Maci clears her throat.

“Just typical club members.” She rolls her eyes.

“They giving you trouble?” Tasha tenses.

“No.” Maci’s eyes widen. “Not exactly.”

“Ah.” I smile, “someone you like?”

Maci’s red cheeks betray her. “No.”

“Holy shit.” Drew whispers. “Elise is right, it is someone you like.”

Maci grabs her glass of wine from my hands. “I don’t wanna talk about it.”

“Well, if none of you are willing to talk about men, what are we going to talk about?” Tasha sulks.

Drew, Maci and I exchange nervous looks and Tasha shakes her head in disappointment.

  Chapter Nine

  Elise

It’s a usual club get together with the families tonight. No celebration at all, but it’s a Friday night, the music is playing throughout and the drinks are flowing. It’s like being at any other bar I suppose, just here I have my relatives and their best pals watching over us all. At least you don’t get hit on by any creeps whilst you’re here I guess.

However, the downfall is you get to see the club bunnies hit on anything that moves. Even my dad, which is gross, but he thankfully tells them to ‘fuck off.’

Juicy, one of the many bunnies here tonight, dances next to the table that Bomber is sat at. I watch from the corner of my eye while I chat with the girls, he doesn’t pay her any attention. Bomber sits casually, beer in his hand as he talks to Baby, Sketch and Grinder. He gets my approval straight away. But Juicy doesn’t get the picture, and slides closer to their table as she moves to the beat of Imagine Dragons. Unfortunately, Bomber is sat at the edge of the table and is an easy target.

“Juicy is always horny.” Maci shakes her head. She’s sat beside me, and has obviously noticed who I’m watching. “Especially when there’s loud music playing.”

“Was Juicy not at my mother’s party?” I ask, trying to sound bored with her antics but Maci sees right through me. We both know I’m referring to me telling Dallas to back off.

  Maci smirks. “Apparently not.”

We watch Juicy together, as she sways her hips and runs her fingers all over her body. She could in fact be a pretty girl if her eye make up wasn’t smudged all over her face and her hair wasn’t hanging limp all over the place.

“Is she high?” I ask and Maci grumbles.

“She’s known to pop a pill or two.” She sighs, sounding disappointed in the young girl. “But she’s harmless, unlike others.”

I see Dallas hovering near the door, face like thunder as she watches everyone having fun. My eyes return back to Bomber’s table and this time Juicy has moved closer, even trying to sit on Bomber’s lap. Bomber looks up at her, smiling at her as he pushes her gently away. He shakes his head at her, before turning her around and sending her on her way. I’m proud of him and Bomber catches my eye. Sending me a little wink before joining the guys again.

“He’s a good one.” Maci whispers beside me.

“So Elise,” Drew looks to me and I’m like a deer caught in the headlight. All four girls look back at me. “What’s going on between you two?”

“Nothing is going on.” I roll my eyes.

  “But?” Tasha adds.

I don’t know what to say to them. I don’t even know myself what’s holding me back. All I know is that whenever I feel as though he’s getting closer, I get scared he’s going to disappear and leave me again.

“Well, I’m not angry with him anymore.” I inform them, hoping it’s enough for their complete nosiness.

Lauren smiles. “Leave her alone now.” She orders, forever the protective big sister figure.

“What?” Drew shrugs. “I love some juicy details.”

“Who doesn’t?” Asks Grim, suddenly appearing out of nowhere, with my brother, Scrappy at his side.

I roll my eyes at the sight of a club bunny, I think her name is Talia, hanging off Scrappy’s arm. As he stands beside Grim, she looks as though she’s dry humping him. God I think I’m going to be sick! It’s not that I don’t like Talia, she hasn’t done anything to hurt or anger me. I haven’t even really spoken to her, I usually keep my distance from the club bunnies, apart from Maci of course. She just kind of joined our little group and now is one of my closest friends. Maybe it’s because she’s different, and doesn’t screw all the men here.

“Right?” Drew laughs up at her brother, who then shakes his head at her with a smirk.

“You ok babe?” He looks down to Lauren, who’s sat in the corner of the booth, comfortable and snug.

“Tired.” She confesses as she smiles up at him. You can see by the looks on their faces how much they adore each other.

“You wanna go home?” Grim asks her. “I’m done here now, we can go if you want?”

“You’re sure?” She asks, looking hopeful.

“Course baby.” He holds out his hand, helping her up.

“See you later girls.” She waves us goodbye.

We all wave and smile, watching them go together. “They’re so cute.” I mummer to myself.

“I know.” Maci watches them with a certain, glossy eyed look.

“What about you Lissy?” Scrappy asks me. “When are you leaving?”

I’m not entirely shocked by his question, but it also makes me feel as though he wants to be rid of me. My dad is away on club business so my mother decided to stay home tonight, that means I’m Scrappy’s responsibly, or so he thinks. Talia the bunny fingers his hair beside him, biting her glossed coated lips and moaning softly. Give me strength.

“I’m not.” I take a drink from my glass of wine. I spy Tasha trying to hide a smile.

“I wouldn’t want to go in a car with someone hanging from my brother either.” Drew comments, making Tasha’s smile widen but it at least snaps Talia from whatever horny state she was in. She gives Drew a little frown as she flicks her blonde hair behind her bony shoulder, but obviously regrets it soon after. Drew’s expression is thunderous and Talia smartly avoids eye contact with Drew.

“I’ll get a ride with someone, don’t worry and if not, I’ll stay the night here.” I shrug. “No big deal.”

Scrappy frowns, he doesn’t like it, but he has no other choice. I’m a big girl, I make my own decisions and by the looks of it, he wants to disappear with Talia.

Scrappy leans in closer to me. “You don’t leave alone, you don’t sleep in anyone’s room but dads or Grims, you hearing me?” I nod in reply. “I mean it Elise, if you can’t get a ride home stay here.”

“I know.” I insist. “Dads hammered it in my head enough times.”

“At least we’re clear then.” He nods, saying goodbye to the girls, he turns to leave with his chosen bunny for the night. Talia sways her non-existent hips as she walks by his side, her heels clinking all the way. I don’t know why I don’t like her, maybe it’s because she’s a bunny a
nd I remind myself to not judge so quickly. She might be a nice girl. The two of them turn left, which then leads to the member’s bedrooms. Of course he’s staying at the clubhouse, mum would kill him if he bought a club bunny into her home.

“I want him to find an Old Lady, then maybe he would be off my ass.” I grumble, making all three laugh.

“I feel you.” Drew shakes her head. “Three brothers, remember?” She points to herself.

“Yeah, but Scrappy makes up for three all by himself.” Maci adds, giggling to herself.

  “He sure does.” I sulk.

As our chatter continues, I notice Drew has become quiet and when I glance up I see her watching somewhere behind me. When I take a cheeky look, I’m not shocked to see Sketch in her line of view.

“Time for me to go girls.” Tasha stands, running off towards Devlin as he crooks his finger at her. She wraps her arms around him, kissing Devlin like she hasn’t seen him for months. They quickly run away, out of sight and my attention turns back to Drew as she watches Sketch. I don’t know why she tries to hide how much she likes him. I can’t see anyone not liking them together.

“Couples.” Maci rolls her eyes. I’m assuming she meant Tash and Devlin.

“You wouldn’t like to be with someone?” I ask her.

“Sure,” she shrugs. “It would be nice to have someone to lean on every now and then.”

“Anyone in particular?” I ask, gesturing around the room.

“A biker?” She asks in surprise. “No way, a bunny and a biker together wouldn’t be taken seriously. Besides, these men only want a bunny for a certain reason, and that’s not me.”

I frown. “Why not? You’re different, everyone knows that.”

She shakes her head, and I see she’s in deep thought, so I leave her to it. I get out my phone, deciding to send Bomber a text.

  Me: I’m bored

I look over at Bomber as he receives my text. Watching as he looks over at me as he types his reply.

Bomber: Meet me in my room in 10

I bite down my smile as I read his text, I don’t want him to see how pleased I am. The only thing is, I need to escape Drew and Maci. I slowly stand, smiling at Maci as she eyes me suspiciously.
