“Then use your imagination.”
He smiled and threw her onto the bed. “Roll over.” He watched her eyes go black with desire and her chest move up and down faster. “Trust me.” Vikki rolled over and propped herself up on her elbows. “Nope, lie down and put your arms out in front of you.” Then he slowly slid his hands up her legs and over her bottom. Dammit, she was perfect. She had on a pair of leggings, so much easier than jeans. He looped his hands around the waistband and started to slide them down over her luscious curves. When the leggings were halfway down her body, he bent over and kissed the inside of each thigh.
She cried out his name.
He traced the edge of her panties with the tip of his index finger and caused her body to shiver. “You like that, kitten?”
She could only moan.
Ricky adjusted his pants. He wanted to touch Vikki like this for so long, and now here she was ready and waiting. He needed to be inside her and now.
He tightened his grip and pulled the panties down over her legs and threw them on the floor next to the leggings. “Get up on all fours.”
“Ricky, you’re so demanding.”
“Just trust me, baby.”
She brought her body up and fisted her hands in the sheet. “I trust you.”
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a condom. Then quickly he unbuttoned and unzipped his jeans and threw them next to the already growing pile of clothes. He rubbed his hands down her back, over her behind, and surprised her by placing two fingers inside her heated flesh. She bucked up and threw her head back crying out his name.
“Do you like that, kitten?”
“More,” Vikki begged.
“Oh, there is more. I promise.” He rubbed himself a few times to ensure he was ready. Then he pulled her hips up slightly and entered her inch by inch.
She sucked in a breath. “Oh fuck, Ricky.”
“See, I told you it would be good.”
“So good,” she said and pushed back against his body, causing him to go deeper inside her. “More.”
“Jesus, Vikki. Just keep doing that, baby.”
“What? This?” Then she made a quick movement forward and pushed back hard, causing him to almost exit her body and then be quickly pushed back deep inside her.
“Fuck. Baby, I’m giving you control. Don’t stop.”
She continued moving back and forth at a quick pace. Suddenly, she slowed down. “Help me. Oh, God, I’m almost there.”
He grabbed her hips and started pulling her body back and forth at the same pace. She yelled out his name, but he couldn’t stop. Then finally he had his release and collapsed onto her back, breathing heavily.
“Fuck. We need to do that again.”
Ricky started to laugh which caused him to fall out of her body. He immediately missed being inside her and knew she would become his new drug of choice. He rolled her over and slid up beside her. “Damn.”
“That’s all you got?” Vikki teased, wrapping her body around him. “I’m kinda speechless, too.”
He wrapped his arms around her. “Why did we wait so long?”
Vikki burst out laughing. “Sweetie, only you can ask yourself that question.”
Ricky tightened his grip. “Well, I’m a dumbass.”
“But you’re my handsome dumbass.”
Vikki’s head was resting on Ricky’s shoulder. Her mind was wandering all over the place, and her body was screaming for more. “I hope I wasn’t too loud. We wouldn’t want to make anyone else jealous as they walk by our room.”
“I guess it’s a good thing we’re in the basement.”
She leaned up and kissed him. “You hungry?” She stood up, removed her shirt and bra, then walked over to the little cabinet. “Oh, they have cheesy crackers. Want some?” Ricky had his head propped up and was staring at her. “What?”
“You just removed your clothes and walked to get food without ever looking embarrassed.”
Vikki looked down at her body. “I don’t know, I guess I enjoy this more with you.”
Ricky leaned up to remove his shirt. “You have no complaints here. So are you going to share those with me?”
She was standing by the bed, held the box up above her head and moved her hips back and forth. “You mean these?” He lunged forward but missed. “You sure you want them?”
He jumped off the bed. “Oh, I’ll get them.” She squealed while running around in a circle, then tripped over the leggings on the floor and fell onto the couch. Ricky grabbed her hips and pulled her up, and then he sat down and put her on his lap.
Vikki was still waving the box up over her head and flipping them back and forth between each hand. “No fair, you’re using sex to get the crackers. Cheater.”
“Is it working?”
Vikki moved her body back and forth. “Hmmmm….wait.” Then she moved back and forth some more. “Oh, there he is. Yup, it’s working.”
“Shit.”
She set the box on the couch beside them. “We’ll enjoy those after. I want this now.” Then she reached down in between them and placed him inside her. “Shit is right. Damn, you feel so good.”
Vikki placed her hands on his shoulders and moved up and down. She almost closed her eyes, but it felt good looking right at Ricky. He made her body crave things it has never had before.
“I was teasing about the toys.”
“Yeah, you’re bringing that up now?”
“I want to be fully transparent.”
He chuckled. “After everything we have been through. I think that is low on the list. I trust you, Vikki, completely.” She stopped moving. “What’s wrong?”
“You trust me? Why?”
“You saved me in the hospital. Of course I trust you with my life.”
She bent forward and made a few small movements up and down. “Good, because you are stuck with me.”
Then she closed her eyes and increased her movements. He tightened his grip on her hips and helped her move faster. Vikki opened her eyes again the moment she knew her orgasm was surfacing. Then she threw her head back and cried out his name.
He didn’t let her stop yet which was not easy. He needed her to keep moving for a few more minutes and then he pulled Vikki flush to his body and moaned his release.
“Yeah, you’re my new drug.”
She giggled. “I am, huh? I like the idea of being your drug of choice. It’s like the perfect wine; you just want more and more.”
Twenty
“What are doing down there?” Vikki leaned over the edge of the bed. Ricky had his head resting on a pillow and his body curled up in a ball.
“You’re a bed hog,” he mumbled with his eyes still closed.
She sat up. “What? I am not.”
“Well, then I guess I was just imagining you pushing me off the bed.”
Vikki gasped. “No, really?” She crawled down next to him and pulled the comforter over their bodies. “I’m so sorry. I’m not used to sharing a bed with anyone.”
“I gathered that.” He chuckled and kissed her forehead. “Did you sleep good?”
“Is it bad if I say yes?”
“I will be crushed, but I’ll get over it.”
“My poor baby,” she teased and climbed on top of his body. “How can I make it up to you?” She reached behind her body and cupped his balls. “Would a massage help?”
“Maybe.”
Then she moved her body so she was straddling his thighs. Vikki knew he was getting aroused which caused her body to react. She stretched her hands forward and rubbed them slowly down his chest. Right before she reached his happy trail, she stopped. “Or maybe this will help.” Then she bent her head and wrapped her lips around him. He was fully erect and absolutely beautiful.
“Fuck. Yeah, that will help immensely.”
She giggled but never stopped her movements up and down. He tangled his hands in her hair and started to move her head up and down. Vikki loved when men took control, especially in this
situation. She moaned her pleasure with each movement.
“Honey, I’m almost there.” Ricky tried to give her a chance to move, but she fought against him. He started to moan louder, and then he pushed forward hard, one last time, as he let out his release. Vikki continued to pleasure him which only caused him to react because his body was so sensitive now. “Shit, baby.” She didn’t let him pull away and could feel his body shake from the intense feelings she was causing.
Vikki lifted her head and had a huge smile plastered on her face. “I bet that helped.”
He sat up and pulled her body closer. “I’m not sure yet.”
She swatted at his arm and giggled. “You need to give my jaw at least a thirty-minute break.”
“Oh, just enough time.”
“Enough time for what?” Before she could say another word, he pushed her body to the floor and spread her legs. “Oh, that. There’s always time for that.”
“Exactly.” Then he bent his head and started to pepper light kisses up the inside of both of her legs. Just as he was about to kiss her most sensitive spot, there was a light tap on the door. “Seriously? We just wanted a full twenty-four hours to ourselves.”
Vikki pushed his head back down and yelled. “Give us ten minutes.”
“Do you always get what you want?”
“Pretty much.” She lifted her behind to be closer to his mouth. “Plus, I can’t wait a minute longer.”
“You don’t have to tell me twice.” Then Ricky dropped his head and dragged his tongue up her, spending more time on her clitoris. The moment he started to nip and suck, she cried out and covered her mouth. “You want more?”
“Yes, Ricky, please.”
He continued to pleasure her while also placing two fingers inside her body moving in and out. “God you taste good.” He tried to tease her by kissing the inside of her legs and making her wait. She shocked him by tapping and rubbing herself in need of a release. He pushed her hand away and continued his play. Vikki fisted her hands into his hair and pushed up toward his mouth, demanding more. He never hesitated and continued to nip and suck until she yelled out his name.
She sat up and jumped into his arms. “I want that to happen every day when we wake up.”
He kissed her lips and chuckled. “Will we be together every morning?”
“Oh yeah, from now on.”
“What if I disagree?”
“Do you?”
“Nope, but it’s fun trying to disagree.”
“Ricky?”
“Yeah, kitten?”
“I know that’s Miles waiting for you on the other side of the door. No, I’m not psychic. I just know where we’re at and the situation we’re in.” Vikki cleared her throat. “I’m sure you have to leave soon. Promise me something?”
“Anything.”
“Be safe. We finally got together, and I couldn’t stand losing you now.”
“I promise.”
“Wait, don’t promise, just do it.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
Ricky was sliding his shirt over his head as he stepped out of the room. “Hey.” Miles was leaning up against the wall with earbuds in and looking at his phone. Ricky touched his arm. “Hey.”
Miles jumped. “Oh, sorry. Preslie said to bring the headphones just in case.”
“Your wife is pretty smart.”
“She’s a keeper,” Miles teased. “Sorry to bother you. I know I promised you twenty-four hours to yourself, but I think I may have a break.”
“Tell me.” They took the stairs up to the fourth floor and headed into the conference room. Cooper was sitting at the big, long table looking at a file. “I have a feeling this is going to be intense.”
Cooper closed the file. “Maybe. Miles had a thought, and we have been looking deeper into it.”
“Remember when I mentioned something about Jason Keets and where he may be hiding?” Miles asked, pulling out a chair and sitting down.
“Yeah, did you find him?” Ricky said, sitting down opposite Miles.
“Not yet. We went back over all our notes, though. That included the talk Finley had with Alessandra before she died, the details we knew about regarding Letizia, and the information we found at Jason’s restaurant.”
“It was an odd hunch Miles had, but I really think it may make sense now,” Cooper said, leaning back in his chair.
“Where are we globetrotting off to now?” Ricky asked.
“Letizia’s home in St. Cloud, Minnesota.”
“What?” Ricky said, sounding shocked. “You really think he would go there? There could be associates on the property as we speak.”
“True. Or, they gave up once they discovered Letizia and Cristiano were staying in Florida.”
“When do we leave?”
“Now,” Miles said, pushing his chair out.
Twenty-One
“So, it’s confirmed that Alessandra was secretly dating Jason, right?” Ricky asked, picking up a note in Letizia’s file and leaning back in his seat. They took the first flight out of Toronto and would be arriving in Minnesota in a few hours.
“Yes, Alessandra kinda mentioned it. Then we found several letters in Jason’s office they had sent back and forth to each other.”
“Wow, okay. So, let’s think about this. We find him, then what?”
“We bring him back to the precinct for questioning.”
Ricky actually missed this life. He didn’t miss the loss that went along with the job, but he missed the investigations. He was good at it and he knew that. A part of him wanted this life back.
“Well, I only ask that because I’m willing to bet he will not go with us easily.”
“It think he will,” Miles said, grabbing a package of peanuts.
“Maybe, if we can guarantee his safety.”
“Which we can.”
“I hope.”
When they touched down in St. Cloud, it was raining to beat the bands. It was around ten at night, and the airport was packed. “This is the most time I have spent stateside ever in my life.”
“You and me both.”
“I may take a trip to Alberta with Vikki when things settle.”
“So, this thing between you two is official.”
“I know, I know, finally.”
“Well, yeah. Preslie and I had a wager going on how long it would take you to finally make a move.”
Ricky rolled his eyes. “Well, you both lost then.”
“What do you mean?”
“She made the first move.”
“Oh…”
“Yeah, I know. I was dragging my ass too long. She finally gave up on the wait.”
Miles burst out laughing and slapped him on the back. “Well, at least she finally took control.”
“With that,” Ricky winked.
Miles plugged his ears. “La la la, I don’t want to know.”
“Oh come on, you know you want to know.” Ricky continued to mess with Miles on their way to their hotel.
They both decided to wait until the morning before they would head over to the home owned by Letizia’s family. The Emergency Task Force had seized control of the property while the investigation was still open. Cooper let them know earlier the home was supposed to be locked up; the local sheriff’s office had ensured everything was taken care of.
On the way over to the place, Ricky just felt like something was not right. Whenever he felt unease about something, it was usually big. The driveway was about a quarter mile long, and as they slowly approached, he mentally prepared himself for the worst.
“Something doesn’t feel right.”
“Yeah, I’m feeling it, too,” Ricky said, pulling his gun from his holster. “You said there is an attic. Do you know if there was a basement?”
“Yeah, there is.”
“Okay, so a good place to hide.” Ricky glanced around the property. “Do the local cops drive by once in a while and check on the place?”
“Well, they said they do. N
ot sure how much I believe that.”
Ricky agreed. Out of sight, out of mind. This house was not on their radar like it was for them. “Okay, we go in together. I think splitting up would be a horrible idea.”
“Yeah,” Miles said, getting his gun at the ready. “I agree.”
Ricky was behind Miles as they ascended the stairs. On the last step, there was a creak and Miles stopped. They both looked around for a trip-wire or anything that could detonate a bomb. It was empty on the porch. As Ricky turned the knob on the front door, he heard a crack behind him. He drew his gun and turned. There was an older man with graying hair holding a rifle, and it was pointed right at them.
“Jason?” Miles asked.
“You’re on private property. You need to leave.”
“Jason, we need to talk to you,” Miles said, slowly dropping his gun. “We’re from the Emergency Task Force. We just need to talk to you.”
“I don’t know a Jason,” the man said.
Ricky looked over at Miles. “That’s Johnny…I mean, Jason. I remember him from the restaurant.”
“I said get off my property.”
“This is Alessandra’s house, Jason.” Miles placed his gun back in his holster. “Put down your gun and let’s talk about this.”
“There’s nothing to talk about.”
Ricky still had his gun pointed at Jason. “There is plenty to discuss. Like your relationship with Alessandra or the kids you had. We know everything.”
“You don’t know anything.”
“Are you sure about that? We talked to Alessandra before she died.” Miles walked toward the first step. “How is it possible we don’t know everything? Tell us.”
“I’m not telling you anything.”
“Why not, Jason? You can trust us.” Miles stepped down one step.
“Trust. I can’t trust anyone.”
Ricky rolled his eyes. He could tell something happened to this guy because he seemed paranoid. He glanced around, checking to see if anyone else was watching them. There were several trees that lined the property; they gave a sniper the perfect vantage point. Which meant he and Miles were sitting ducks on the porch.
