“Never leave me Faith. I can’t survive without you. You were made just for me.” I know Billy loves me. I will never doubt that. “Now tell me what you were avoiding or was that your way to try and butter me up. You know I can’t say no to you unless it has to do with your safety. So just spit it out but thanks for the butter.” Con is back, and he is always one step ahead of me.
“I won’t be around as much as I have been. I considered what you said about waiting a while to have children and you are right.” I tell Con and he grins big.
“Can I hear that one more time? I am what?” Con is being the smartass he is most of the time.
“Okay, for once you are right. I went to the junior college in Tyler today and enrolled. Starting next semester, I will be a full-time student.” I wait to see what Con says.
“I think that is a great idea. What are you going for?” Con asks me, and I know this is the tricky part.
“Business for my bachelors, with an associate in accounting, that way I can help with the club’s books. I talked to Shine about it, and he told me if you agree with it, then the club would help pay for my classes.” Con looks at me closely.
“Is this something that you want to do, and you are not just doing it to help us out at the club?” I know this is important to Con.
“Yes, I am sure. I want this. Working for the club is just a bonus. This way, I will have a job and help bring in money but when we decide it is time for us to become parents, my job won’t be a problem.” I am excited about this.
“Alright, you have thought it out and if it is what you want then I am good with it with conditions that will be named later. I want to go over it with Shine before I say anything for sure.” I turn closer into Con’s arms and press myself into him.
“I am so happy with you, I don’t care how we Survive The Chaos Of Life as long as we do it together.
