And along with setting up the company, she and Brik also went house shopping. Apparently, for Brik, there was no price limit. The concept blew Cara’s mind. They could have lived anywhere they liked.

But not wanting to be too far from work, the two decided on a three-story home in the Hollywood Hills overlooking the city. Cara was told that their closest neighbor was a movie star though she didn’t know which one. And, although they had more than enough bedrooms for everyone, they bought what had to be the world’s largest bed.

“It was the only way that he would agree to carry our beer,” Cara reminded her mother over the phone. “I miss you all too, Mom. But, maybe it’s best that I have a change to, you know, see the world, to find out what else is out there.”

Cara listened for a moment then heard the question that she was sure was coming.

“Yes, mom. I think I do. I think I love him,” she admitted with a swallow.

Both Cara and her mother were reduced to tears. As difficult as her mother said it would be on her, her mother said she would accept Cara’s decision and get her father to do the same. So, with her old family settled and her new family settling in, Cara felt at peace. The only part missing now was Mars.

After three months of living in Los Angeles, everything Cara had been working on was finally falling into place. She had managed to sell the clothing into a few department stores as a part of their LGBT collection and everything was set up online.

Elated, Brik decided to throw a party. With access to an endless supply of rich people and celebrities, it was promising to be the greatest party Cara had ever been to.

As she dressed for it, she listened to the sound of Brik in the shower. Their life was amazing. But, in spite of Brik being the kindest and most considerate man Cara had ever known, she knew that there was something missing between them.

It wasn’t about the sex. The sex they had was phenomenal. It was about something else. They just didn’t seem complete without Mars. It was like having a phantom limb. It was something that they felt was there, but every time they looked, they realized it was gone.

Initially, Cara believed that Mars would return. But, as the months passed, she lost hope that he would ever come back. It would just be her and Brik from now on. Her heart ached as she thought about it. But knowing she had a launch party and housewarming to host, Cara descended the stairs to join the guests who had already started to gather.

Will, the bartender from the SLS Hotel, was one of the ones already there. Cara went to him first and hugged him.

“If it wasn’t for you, none of this would’ve happened,” Cara said with a smile.

“Please, I just made a phone call. You did all this,” he said pointing to the models who were walking around in Mars’ designs.

“It wasn’t just me. But, thank you. I’m so glad you could come,” Cara said squeezing his forearms.

As the house began to fill, Cara realized just how many people there were in Brik’s life who she didn’t know. As the night went on, Brik took her around proudly introducing her to everyone. There were so many celebrities. As a Boston girl, it was beyond anything she could have imagined. Yet, with her arms wrapped around Brik, she rested her head on his shoulder thinking about the one person she would trade all of the celebrities for. It was as she thought about it that she saw him.

At least, she thought she did. Without expecting it, she had glimpsed a man who looked shockingly similar to Mars. Could it be him? The man had disappeared into the crowd before she could get a good look. But, whoever it was seemed to be exiting onto the balcony.

“Where are you going?” Brik asked Cara as she let go of his arm and walked away.

Cara was too focused to reply. She couldn’t have seen what she thought she had, could she? Her mind had to be playing tricks on her. It was the fact that Mars was all she could think about, wasn’t it?

Certainly, that had to be the case. But when Cara exited onto the balcony and spotted a man with his back to her, the blood rushed from her face. Barely able to breathe, tears welled in her eyes. Forcing herself to speak, she said his name.

“Mars?” As she did, her voice cracked.

It took forever for him to turn around, but he did. His tanned skin, his incredible green eyes, none of it had changed. He was still the most gorgeous man that she had ever seen.

“Mars!” Cara purred as she floated towards him and the edge of the balcony.

Without another word, Cara threw her arms around Mars and held him. Unable to stop herself, she cried. His smell, the way his body felt in her arms, it was just how she remembered.

“I’m sorry!” She said with a pain in her heart. “I’m sorry for everything we did. It was wrong. We shouldn’t have treated you like that. Please, please forgive us,” she begged holding him tight.

Mars took hold of her waist and hugged her back. “There is no need to apologize. I understand.”

Cara released him to look into his eyes. “You understand?”

“Yeah. And I don’t forgive you… because there’s nothing to forgive… for either of you.”

Seeing his gaze shift, Cara followed it to the person standing behind her. He was looking at Brik. Having been spotted, Brik stepped forward joining the group.

“Where have you been?” Brik asked reaching out and squeezing Mars’ arm.

“I was at home,” he confirmed. “After you two left, I sat at the restaurant considering everything that happened. When the sun came up and I realize that I didn’t have a car or anywhere to go, I walked back to my parents.

“Apparently, they had been up all night too… talking. They told me that their talk was the first real conversation they had had about me and about what they had turned into since they threw me out.

“I went inside and joined them. It was… healing. I never thought that I could ever forgive my parents, especially my father, for everything that had happened. But I did. And in return, they invited me to stay.

“It was a weird feeling being in the house I grew up in. There were so many memories, so many conversations the needed to be had. We had all of them. And finally, when I no longer felt chained to the memories of my past, I thought about my future. When I did, the only thing I could think of was you two.

“Needless to say that I got your emails, Brik. Cara was a brilliant pick to run the company. And, from what I can see here, she’s done a great job.”

“I was just doing what I could until you got back,” Cara explained.

“Don’t be silly. You were born to do this job. I’m a clothing designer. That’s what I was born to do. I’m not meant to deal with spreadsheets and invoices. I’m the creative,” Mars said with a smile.

  Brik and Cara smiled back.

“So, are you planning on staying now that you’re back?” Brik asked hesitant to hear the reply.

Mars looked into both Brik and Cara’s eyes. “I don’t know. It depends.”

  Brik replied first. “On what?”

“Depends on if you two will have me,” Mars said vulnerably.

Cara teared up as she touched his chest and squeezed his arm. “Of course we’ll have you. You’re family. We could never be complete without you.”

It was Mars’ turn to cry. He threw his arms around Brik and Cara, and allowed the tears to roll down his face. “I love you two so much.”

“I love you too,” they both replied.

After a long moment, Mars pulled away and wiped his cheeks. They all had to. Noticing that, Mars chuckled.

“So, are either of you going to give me a tour of your place?”

“You mean our place,” Cara corrected.

Mars smiled. “Yeah, of our place. Oh, and I would love to see the designs.”

“You mean your designs?” Brik said teasingly.

Mars thought for a second. “Yeah, I’ll say my designs.”

  The three of them laughed.

“I’ll take you to the models wearing “your designs,”” Cara said grabbin
g hold of his arm as Brik took hold of his other.

“By the way, Brik, in your emails, you never mentioned whether you two came up with a name for the company. You must’ve decided on one by now, haven’t you?”

“We have,” Brik said looking at Cara. “What do you think of Fluid Style Co?”

Mars paused and it rolled around in his mind. “Fluid Style Co. I like it. It’s perfect”

Brik and Cara looked at each other and smiled. They were finally a complete family. With Mars on her arm and Brik on his, the three of them reentered the living room and the party.

Cara could barely keep her hands off of Mars. Brik was the same. And finally, when all the partygoers were gone and the three of them were left by themselves, they all retired to the bedroom and reintroduced their bodies to each other.

Mars’ long thick cock pushed into Cara reminding her of the best sex she had ever had. Brik clutched Mars’ waist and fucked him like a man who loved another man. And with their bodies intertwined in a knot of lust and sex, they all orgasmed together.

“I love you,” Mars whispered into both of his lover’s ears.

“I love you too,” Cara replied as the body heat from her two men consumed her.

With their two strong torsos pressed against either side of her, Cara touched each of her guys and gently fell asleep. This time she was sure that both of them would be there in the morning. They would be there when she woke up and for the rest of her life. Because, not only did they have a home and company together, she knew that they would live happily ever after.

  The end.

  Island Candy

Devlin looked out of the window as the plane approached its destination. The water surrounding the island was so clear that Devlin was sure that he could see the bottom. This would be his first time in the Bahamas. It had been a place he had always wanted to visit.

Devlin didn’t know how many chances he would get to see the sights, though. This trip was all business. After three years of research, two years of deal making, and after spending all the money he had, he was close to closing the deal that would make him one of the richest man in the world. There was only one thing standing in his way. His name was Sergio Ortega and Devlin would be spending the weekend with Sergio and his wife in Nassau on an estate called Nygard Cay.

“Please prepare for landing,” the captain announced over the PA.

Devlin returned his seat to an upright position and stared out as the island got closer. He went over his talking points once again. Sergio was the largest shareholder in the biotech company that wanted to acquire the two companies Devlin had nurtured for seven years. He wasn’t sure why the board of Sergio’s company approved the merger while Sergio didn’t, but if he wasn’t going to end up on the streets, he was going to have to find out and change Sergio’s mind.

After the plane landed, Devlin collected his stuff and exit the plane. Descending the stairs and entering the blistering sun, he was shocked to find out how hot it was. As he crossed the tarmac to the airport, he realized it wasn’t the heat, but the humidity. There was certainly humidity in New York, but what he experienced now was the equivalent of walking through soup.

Loosening two buttons on his tailored dress shirt, he was relieved to enter the air-conditioned building. Snaking through the hallways and passing through the lines, he didn’t look forward to reentering the heat again. But knowing that there was a car outside waiting for him, he collected his luggage, loosens another button, and ventured forward.

Scanning the faces outside of the railing, he spotted a man with the sign.

“I’m Devlin,” he said approaching him.

“Right this way, sir,” the man said in a singsong accent.

Ushered into an SUV, Devlin was again relieved to feel the air-conditioning. The temperature truly was a shock to his system. It made him wonder how English soldiers could stand to wear their uniforms in the1800s. That time in history had always fascinated Devlin, and so much of the most interesting parts took place in Bahamian waters.

“Is it always this warm?” Devlin said leaning forward.

“This is nothing, sir. You came while it was still cool.”

The slight smile on the driver’s face told Devlin he was joking. The driver was having a little fun with him. Devlin decided to play along.

“Yeah, I’ve read stories that the birds here sometimes just burst into flame,” Devlin joked.

“You read that too?” The driver said delighted that Devlin was playing along. “I’ve seen it. It happens all the time.”

Devlin smiled and leaned back. The driver’s humor had helped. Sure, it was hot, but it really wasn’t that hot. He was going to have to loosen up. Everything he had learned about Sergio told him that Sergio wouldn’t respond well to uptight New York types.

“Have you ever been to Nygard Cay before?” The driver asked him.

“No. This is my first time in the Bahamas. Is it nice?”

  “I
think you’ll like it. Do you remember that show ‘Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous?’”

  “Kind of,” Devlin offered.

“It was on that show a couple of times. They shot a few other TV shows there too. It’s one of the great estates in the world.”

Devlin considered what he had heard and then turned his attention outside the window. The vegetation was distinct from anything he had seen in the United States. There were skinny pine trees and an abundance of flowers. Devlin wasn’t sure if he had ever seen so many flowers.

Everything about the place relaxed him. He was beginning to feel ready for the most important business meeting of his life. And entering the gated neighborhood where Nygard Cay was located, he knew he was almost there.

“That’s where Sean Connery lives,” the driver said pointing to a modest two-story house.

“It’s not very impressive,” Devlin said teasingly.

“That’s because you don’t know the price tag. That little house costs millions and millions of dollars.”

Devlin looked at it again. That house would be the type he dreamed of having. Devlin didn’t come from money. He had worked his way up. The fact that he was on the verge of closing a billion-dollar deal was a testament to his tenacity. Although he had turned himself into a millionaire a few years ago, Devlin burned to take that final step to become one of the most successful people on the planet.

Devlin looked ahead at the gate at the end of the street. Above it was a sprawling sign telling them that they had arrived. Allowed in with a nod from the guard, they were immediately surrounded by a grove of coconut trees. Further down the street were what looked like resort bungalows. Shaped like Tahitian huts, all of the buildings were reminiscent of Mayan architecture.
