The safety of the evangelists who preached with scary tales that usually scared and alarmed the worshippers were endangered and got banned to preach in Massachusetts. The authority expelled one preacher named, Mary Dyer, three times but in many occasions was able to return and preach the same messages.
Consequently, they caught her and sentenced her to death in Boston on July 1, 1660. The attitude of the religious leaders of the puritans as so harsh when it comes to profession religious faith that was not in conformity with their religious doctrines in which Philip Ratcliffe, a preacher who had forgotten the do’s and don’ts in the colony.
Unfortunately, they captured Ratcliffe in one of his speech engagements in Salem and was ordered a penalty of public whipping and had his ears cut before he was freed, in order that he might able to remember the laws of the land. Because of the extreme restrictions and harsh laws of the puritans, many people left Massachusetts as they deployed to other American colonies. While the puritans believed and treated themselves as God’s chosen people, they became arrogant and conceited as they mistreated others particularly the native American Indians as the lower grade type of human species and looked down to them as filthy people and squatters in the land.
Because of this undesirable and grave misconduct of the puritans towards the native American Indians, the sentiment of the latter led them to become hostile and vindictive against the puritans. The rebellious native Indians attacked the puritan settlers. They never thought that the outcome of their vanity would lead to violence and eventually the puritan leaders became lenient and gradually lifted the harsh laws they enforced in the colony to avoid violence. They amended the same laws about the Sabbath in order to allow members to carry protective firearms on their way to worship house.
In 1675 the situation worsened, when King Philip or otherwise known as Metacomet of Wampanoag American Indians attacked the puritans for fear of losing some territories for his fellow-American Indians. The Indians burned their houses, massacred the settlers and in retaliation, the puritans vindictively fought back in subsequent battles which lasted for a number of months. In 1676, Philip was captured in Rhode Island and he was terribly beheaded while his body was cut into four(4) pieces, which eventually ended the war with the puritans. The native Indians submitted to the authority in later years.
In 18th century, the puritans declared their enthusiasm in methodologies. They criticized some church ministers in Massachusetts in their leadership in England and intensified their desire for liberty. They associated religion with politics in solving national problems. The puritans were known to be religious devotees, enthusiastic and brave when it come to the issue of religion. It was a word of mouth that they were loyal people.
To sum up the whole story, the Puritans left England because of religious persecution, and they wanted to look a place where they could conduct pure worship of God. However, when they went to Holland they were not persecuted there because Holland was a country open to all kinds of religion. They left Holland for New World because the Pilgrims did not want to grow their children in a Dutch upbringing or their children may no longer speak their language.

There were many changes and advancement on earth. Man had gone to and fro. Many things had emerged on earth that changed history and the lifestyle of man. Moving machines shortened man’s trek while spear, swords and arrows were outmoded by triggering device that emitted burning bullets. Printing machine was invented and developed by a man named, Johann Gutenberg who printed the first copies of the bible, periodicals and books that prospered the dissemination of knowledge. Since then, there was a tremendous change in mankind’s understanding of the future events.
Churchmen and laymen began to disseminate knowledge of the scriptures and known by man that changed history and insight of almost all inhabitants on earth.
The breakthrough caused by Industrial Revolution had changed the lives of many nations on earth from Europe to the New World, the product of man’s wonderful discoveries and inventions had created a new opportunity to develop a more advanced technology and science. Likewise, man had developed sophisticated but horrible weapons of mass destruction.
The development and inventions of modern warfare had resulted in man’s attempt to conquer, dominate and destroy other nations. Wars were the grim reality of man’s achievement while space race had become man’s citadel for aspirations and achievement. Arms superiority pervaded until man discovered and developed the most horrible and annihilating weapon called the nuclear weapon.
Satan’s dark angels were on their way of starting a new war in the spirit world . Both the angels of light and dark angels would descend to earth to win and lose their good and evil purposes on human beings which were the object of their conflict. They would descend from the skies like shooting stars in the night and lured for weak and strong men that could be part in accomplishing their mission on earth.
Principalities in high places were the main hibernation of dark angels since it was manifest from the havoc of World War I. It depicted how Hitler and his Nazi Party were inspired by the works of the dark angels that brought him up to power.
“In September 24, 1921, during a meeting at the Lowernbraukeller where the Bavarian League headed by a federalist advocate Otto Ballerstedt, an engineer whom Hitler regarded as the most dangerous opponent in his political career was disrupted by Hitler’s Nazi Party.
A certain Nazi, named, Hermann Esser, climbed up a chair and clamored that the Jews were to blamce for the misfortunes of Bavaria. Followed by other Nazi advocates they shouted demand that Ballerstedt yield the floor to Hitler. Suddenly, a commotion occurred beating up Ballerstedt and shoved him off the stage into the audience.
Hitler and Esser were arrested and eventually sentenced to 3 months imprisonment but serving only a month.
Again, inspired by the whispering dark angels the Nazis in a meeting created a melee in another meeting where their opponent was defeated. The apparent manifestation of the devil’s advocacy occurred when Hitler was being inspired by Benito Mussolini’s March on Rome to decide and thought of a coup d’etat for a proper strategy to seize control of Germany. In 1923, his loyalists within the army helped him procure weapons from the barracks but the plot was not realized. There was always consequences in every fiasco, four police officers were killed and in 1923, Hitler was arrested and put on trial for high treason that gained public sympathy.Later in 1924, during the course of the trial for treason against the German people and the Weimar Republic Hitler was convicted and sentenced to five years imprisonment at Landsberg Prison. Hitler received special treatment inside the prison cell by friendly guards On December 20, 1924, the Bavarian Supreme Court issued a pardon and he was released from jail
Hitler’s party was banned in Bavaria but it participated in the 1924’s two elections by proxy. In the German election the party gained seats in the Reichstag, but lost 18 seats where it held only 14 seats. In his reflection, the angel’s whisper’s created into his mind that anti-Semitism had an appeal to an electoral strategy. He realized that power could not only be achieved through revolution but through legal means within the confines of the democratic system in Weimar.
In the spirit world, Satan’s animosity for the Jews was at his peak because the Jews or Hebrews were the first race of people that served the true living God. The focus this time was the fate of the Jews that was supported by the culture of anti-Semitism that pervaded the German public.
When Hitler was in the battlefield during WWI a comprehensive ideology was developed in his mind and heart. He was shaped by his commitment to an anti-Semitism founded on the need to combat the external and internal power of the Jews. He was wounded twice in the war .
He was almost killed by a fatal shot in the terrain when he perceived a voice telling to duck and the blazing metal was on his way. He survived. His principle and enmity for the Jews was defined that the Jews were a race and not a religious community and their presence was a cancer and tuber
culosis for the people. He had goal that when he rose to power he would urge the German government to legislate a discriminatory law against the Jews that would ultimately remove the Jews at all. After a legal victory in the election, Hitler gained power and began establishing his position by putting his adversaries in prison and into concentration camps. He blamed the Jews and Communists as well in the persisting problems of the country. The specter of war was a reality and the most destructive that the whispering devil could have done to his protégé. Hitler , who had started his first leg towards the path of a devastating World War II . He annexed Austria in 1938 without a bloodshed and entered Poland in August, 1939.
In 1938, Hitler eventually removed Jews from the German society. The devil’s drive worked again. Hitler ordered millions of Jews into the concentration camps and had them exterminated by the gas chambers.
The horrible sight of holocaust that had happened in the 20th century. It was a clear manifestation of Satan’s advocacy that worked in the hearts and minds of the Nazis during the war.”The death of humans would end in two paths: the good one would be led by his guardian angel to heaven and the evil one would be dragged beneath the earth. Angels of light would mourn when their protégé would turn to the other side while the Dark Angel would be jubilant.
Likewise, the White Angels would be joyful seeing man won by them while the other Angel would turn to sorrow when his protégé would leave him. However, in spite of the apparent and ominous events taking place on earth many men did not want to adhere to which was good and would prefer to live and die a normal human being without stringent spiritual commitments. The trend of life was still the same as if there was nothing to worry about the future. The good thing about it was that man would be able to have foresight and forewarned of the coming events that man could be able to prepare for by what they read in the bible and other printed references. But it would still depend on man whether he would heed or not because he had a free will.
This was how civilization came to being in the advent of the modern and advanced civilization. While modern civilization had been in rivalry and enmity, wars in many parts of the world had torn apart many nations into desperation and appalling economic catastrophe. Superpowers had been in cold war only to hold back the threat of total annihilation among them that would not spare any creeping things on earth alive when nuclear fallout hinder and would eventually paralyze all signs of life.
What happened was clustered wars and substituted wars among third world countries since WW II continuously plagued as they had been tribulation for the inhabitants being tormented by its ill-effect while they became instrumentality of the powerful ones to remain what they were. Today, while wars and rumors of war had been plaguing and threatening many nations that would trigger nuclear war among rivaled superpowers the specter of great tribulation was most likely to occur. Humans regardless of ethic race, religion, sex and status in life were all affected by the aftermath of the great war.
Many nations had been in distress brought by economic decline while many inhabitants continued their quest for life in other lands and only those nations that had access to availability of resources were able to nourish themselves and survive. Leaders of many nations would prefer to spend fortifying military capability rather than feed their people. Industrial and commercial zones would struggle and find it hard to recover from economic catastrophe that several buildings and establishments in war –torn cities became an evacuation center for dislocated victims of a scourging war.
The sight of ruined cities and burning structures and collapsed settlements left them ghost towns as the stinks of death blurred the atmosphere of the rampant pandemic of death in the locality. The surviving nations would impose stringent rules on its inhabitants forbidding any foreign inhabitants to share the wealth and resources that were exclusively intended for utilization and exploitation by its own inhabitants. If any foreign nationals were caught or had sneaked into their region they would be punished and made slaves by the government to serve its inhabitants.
They would not be deported to its country of origin for there was no more foreign diplomatic relations still existed during that time. Economic and trade relations had been severed by most governments in order to confine their wealth and goods within themselves to survive. States could hardly export their diminishing productions to other states where other states could no longer exchange any available goods .
The most prioritized activity of every government now was to fortify and recruit more manpower for military training in preparation to defend themselves for any threat of invasion by their enemies while more ammunitions and sophisticated weapons were produced. They would launch military exercises with flaunted tanks, gunships, fighter jets, powerful navy ships to amaze enemies. The most feared weapon of mass destructions were now being positioned by superpowers in the event of a tragic war in their strategic locations, the nuclear war heads, the ultimate weapon that would form part of the mass destruction on earth.
