The Curse of Ormshire (The Beast Within Book 2) Page 26

by S. L. Perrine

“What else did she say?” he asked.

“You would be stuck here, within the curse, and if I returned here, it would mean my death. Or, I could not wear it and the curse would go on as it had been decided.” She hugged her arms around her middle. “I figured it out, Tyson. You and I are the link. We are what will break this curse. When you find me, that is when the power will come to destroy him. We just have to figure out from where.” She looked at the painting.

“So why does my sister have the locket?” Tyson was alarmed.

“I spelled it with luce magia. She will not die. She will be reborn and receive her memories of this life early on. She will look for us and help bring us together. That’s how I know she will be fine.”

Tyson sighed in relief. He grabbed her by the hands and lifted her to stand with him. They stood there for a moment, and then Tyson wrapped his arms around her. They began to dance as the moon rose in the night’s sky.

Renella pulled her head back to look at him and whispered, “Beautiful blue skies.”
