You’ll notice right off the bat that Adam Lancer is very much an alpha protagonist. I usually like my protagonists to start out as a more anime archetype character, but I didn’t think that would work here. I felt like a character who was action-oriented, decisive, and strong would make the story more compelling.

Thank you Abby for editing my story. I made quite a few small mistakes that slipped through the cracks during beta reading and self-edits, so I am glad most of them were caught before I hit publish.
I would also like to thank Lonwa_A for his artwork. He did the cover art for Swordsman of the Rift 1, and I thought his more realistic art style would fit the Man Made God narrative better than a more anime art style. His art is very gorgeous.
