Kira nodded her head. She tried to look away but he still held her firm.
“I still need bananas, oranges, and apples,” Kira said. “I need that. To fall back on if I’ve gotten out of hand or misjudged how I could handle something.”
Rock laughed and released her chin. She needed safe words. Yellow, orange, red. Rock was used to green, yellow, and red so he motioned her to continue.
“I’m always lime for anything,” Kira said and smiled at him. “Banana is more like I am nervous but still trusting you completely, orange is a warning and we have to talk, apples is immediate stop because it’s beyond what I can handle.”
Rock laughed hard and deep at her choice of fruit.
“If you want a Master you have to understand that a Master doesn’t have to stop,” Rock said. Being a Dominant was a given. Being a Master was something that Rock had enjoyed for periods of time in his past, and though he was slightly uncomfortable with a submissive who didn’t have a safe-word, he did still like to push them to oranges and apples.
“I understand that,” Kira said. “Can we use the fruit to get to know each other?”
Rock leaned down and kissed her forehead. “Of course. But it is still my choice. Now wash me please.”
“Yes, Master,” Kira replied and smiled as she washed every single inch of Rock. She took extra care with his balls and cock. She continued to stroke his erection until he threatened to never let her wash it again.
“I will now wash you,” Rock replied. He washed Kira and then discarded the washcloth. Her body was a delightful pink from both his hard scrubbing and his attention to detail.
Rock turned Kira to the glass wall and placed her hands above her head on the glass. He commanded her to stay still. When she turned into a statue, he ran his fingers across her smooth mound. Her breath increased and Rock ran his fingers softly across her folds. Every woman was different, like a fingerprint, and getting to know that unique anatomy took time.
Rock pushed his palm against her mound and then again ran through her folds to find her elusive clit. Kira was so soft and her aroused scent drifted through the steam. Finally he found the tiny nub, hidden, not swollen, even though her body was telling him that she was ready. He forced a finger into her slick cunt and kept his thumb caressing her clit. When she trembled, he waited. Keeping her on the brink of her orgasm. Finally he drove into her with two fingers and increased his pace on her clit.
“Please,” Kira whispered as she struggled to stand.
“Kira,” Rock whispered softly in her ear, loving the way she trembled more. Still holding out, not releasing anything until she was given permission. “Come, for your Master.”
Kira’s listened as her own whimper turned into a moan and then she screamed as her legs gave out on her. Rock held her against him, holding her up. He just hadn’t stopped with his hand. Kira squirmed. Her eyes were still closed. She couldn’t. She’d never. This was too much. It had been too long. She screamed and then nearly cried as the next orgasm coursed through her body. Two in one round and he wasn’t letting up. She couldn’t breathe. The steam was too much. She struggled and the hand slowed.
Muscular arms sank to the tile with her and cradled her in the warm water. Kira felt kisses on her forehead and finally Rock’s lips met her own. They were demanding her complete surrender, his tongue searching her mouth for absolute submission. She went limp in his arms and buried her head in his chest. She melted. A puddle of heart and soul into his arms. She wanted to cry. It was that sweet. She gulped past the lump in her throat and looked into Rock’s eyes.
Rock shook his head and kissed her forehead.
The instant that Kira had looked into his eyes Kira recognized his displeasure because she had held back her tears.
Rock smiled and caressed her cheek when she started to cry and shook in his arms. Tears combining with the hot water as both washed away the tension she had been feeling for so long. He held her until her sobs were only hiccups and then patted her thigh as he told her to stand up.
“Your clothes will be on your bed,” Rock said as he handed Kira her towel and then dried himself off as well. “We leave in one hour for Williston. It’s the only place with a Walmart and I do want to get back before dark. You still have dinner to prepare and we will eat lunch in town. I do enough driving so we will take your truck and you will drive.”
Rock opened the door of the bathroom and waited.
“Yes, Master,” Kira said softly, calmly.
Rock continued down the hallway and Kira quickly started on her makeup and hair. She didn’t care if he had picked out her naughty nurse outfit. All she wanted to do right now was not disappoint him by being late.
Kira finished her make-up and hair. She dropped her towel in the hamper and rushed into her bedroom, naked. Rock was already dressed and sitting on her bed thumbing through a muscle-car magazine. Kira stopped when she saw him. He motioned to the clothes at the end of the bed.
Kira looked at them. White lace thong underwear with matching bra. He had obviously gone through her drawers. She blushed knowing that he had probably found her naughty drawer with her hot pink rabbit vibrator and tingling lube. He had probably found her collection of porn since it was in the same drawer as the vibrator. Kira glanced at Rock who smiled, nodded to the clothes, and continued to flip through the magazine.
* * * *
Rock watched her expressions closely. The blush was obvious. He had found her dirty drawer. Pretty tame on her end considering the furniture she had in the Quonset but then again she obviously had only been pleasing herself lately and hadn’t had any men over to play. He turned the page as she put on the bra, thong, and white ankle socks.
Kira looked at the pants. She pulled on the white leather pants that had decorative silver zippers on the calves, thighs, and over the butt pockets. It had a matching belt made of twisted silver zippers. Next was the red velvet button-up shirt. The shirt had silver buttons that matched the silver on the pants. Finally he had chosen the red leather ankle boots with the silver zipper on the top.
“Comments?” Rock asked as he noticed Kira look at herself in the mirror.
“I love it,” Kira said and then frowned.
“You think that other people will look at you funny,” Rock said. Kira nodded her head. Rock set the magazine down and walked across the room to Kira. “Are you worried about how your attire will reflect on me?”
“Yes.” When Rock said nothing but bowed his head slightly Kira revised her statement. “Yes, Master.”
“I picked out the clothes,” Rock said, smiling at her. “I will enjoy looking at them on my girl as we pick out our first Christmas tree.”
Kira grinned at Rock. His girl. Their first Christmas tree. Everything she had wanted and didn’t know that she needed. It was exactly the edge that she had been searching for. She just couldn’t believe that it was here. In her home.
“One last thing,” Rock said and he pulled a delicate silver chain from a black velvet box. “This will be just between me and you.” Rock approached Kira and pointed to the floor. She kneeled immediately and waited as he clasped it around her neck. “You don’t need to display it. It is temporary but I do like to know that I have marked my territory. It’s probably a man thing.”
Kira laughed and stood up when Rock offered her his hand. She looked at the necklace in the mirror. “It’s very pretty. Thank you, Master.”
Rock’s chest tightened at her honest and respectful gratitude. She was certainly going to ruin his plan of purchasing a slice of land on which to retire. He was already dreading the day when he would leave and would rather that the rental agreement had been for infinity instead of a year.
“I’ll pull out your truck and get it warmed up,” Rock said as he stood from the bed. “Where’s your keys?”
Kira handed over her keys and waited until the garage door had closed before she started jumping up and down in her room. She hugged herself and giggled before collapsing on her bed with he
r heart pounding.
She heard Rock rev the engine of the truck so she ran into the entry looking for her purse and jacket. Both were laid on the counter for her. Rock had pulled out her shorter, black leather coat. Her nondescript black purse seemed to match so she grabbed it as she locked the door and headed out to the waiting truck.
Rock climbed out of the truck at her approach and opened the door for her. Then he let himself in the passenger side. When Kira took a right down a gravel road instead of taking the highway, Rock raised his eyebrows at her.
“You said you wanted to be home before dark.” Kira managed to keep her smirk in the playful range. Ten minutes later they pulled onto the ice of Lake Sakakawea at Tobacco Garden Bay. Kira grinned wickedly this time as she turned on the heat full blast and rolled down both the windows.
“Unbuckle,” Kira said firmly. “Last thing you want is to be strapped in if the ice cracks. First thing you want to do is throw open the door and jump onto the ice, as far away from the truck as possible.”
“You ever fallen through the ice before?” Rock asked.
“Nope.” Kira laughed. “I make sure that the ice is plenty thick but you still have to watch out for pressure ridges and soft spots. It’s better to be prepared and ready for anything than to be cocky and panicking when something does happen.”
“Where are we going?” Rock asked as he quickly unbuckled and listened to the snow crunching on the ice under the weight of the tires.
“Williston, like you wanted,” Kira said. “It’s a fast trip there and back if we go across the ice to White Tail Bay. Don’t worry, I’ve already made this trip twice this year.”
Rock didn’t look reassured.
Kira pointed to the several icehouses on the lake with trucks parked next to them. “The ice is plenty thick or the game warden wouldn’t allow the ice shanties on the lake.”
“How much time does this actually save us?” Rock asked as he considered the risk.
“Over an hour each way,” Kira said. “Depending on the roads.”
When the truck crunched onto the gravel road five minutes later Kira rolled up the windows and advised Rock to replace his seat belt. They jolted for two minutes over the pitted gravel road and then they were at the highway. Twenty minutes later they pulled into the Walmart parking lot.
“Stay,” Rock said as Kira shut off the truck and reached for the handle.
Kira waited as Rock walked around the back of the truck and opened her door.
“I like getting the door for you,” Rock said as they headed to the doors of the store. “Call me old-fashioned but if I am with you, then you will allow me the courtesy of chivalry. I will get the door as you enter and exit our vehicles.”
Kira nodded. It was the second rule. The first was to dress in her home as she felt comfortable. She knew that there would probably be many other rules but she liked rules and these weren’t only rules that she could live by, they were rules that she wanted.
Four carts of supplies, ornaments, candles, material, groceries, and they stood in line waiting. Rock grunted when the cashier rung up the fake black Christmas tree. Kira smiled at him, wrapping her hand around his bicep and gently touching her head to his shoulder.
Rock felt himself growing hard at this subtle sign of appreciation. He had been the one to try to discourage her from getting the ugly looking black tree but in the end she had won him over by telling him that she would make the tree look beautiful.
Rock had only conceded by threatening to cut down one of the pine trees on her property and bring it inside if their first Christmas tree ended up looking like something out of a bad, slutty, gothic type of B-movie horror flick.
Kira had swiped her card and was collecting the receipt when two women behind her in line started giggling.
“Oh, hi, Kira,” one girl said with feigned politeness. Then the woman looked Kira up and down and brought her hand to her face giggling.
“Hello,” Kira said, trying to force herself to smile at the women. They had graduated a year ahead of her. How catty. How childish. Could she at least make a trip to a store without someone she knew acting like a complete ass or bitch?
“Nice outfit,” the other woman said, giggling.
“Thanks,” Kira said as she plastered a fake smile on her face and tried not to punch them in the face.
Rock had heard the exchange and came back to where Kira was standing and looked at the women.
“I recognized Kira and was just pointing out that she usually doesn’t shop at Walmart,” the one woman stammered under Rock’s intense glare.
“She does shop at Walmart, on occasion, just usually around three a.m. because there is a much less chance of running into freaks at that hour. I’m sure that you have seen that website about the people of Wal-Mart.” Rock smiled his most charming smile. He then politely said goodbye to the women and escorted Kira out of the store.
“I can feel the daggers in my back right now,” Kira said as she and Rock maneuvered the carts into the parking lot.
“Just make sure to stay in front of me then.” Rock grunted a laugh. “I have big shoulders.”
Kira laughed and felt better as they secured the supplies in the truck. Once inside the vehicle, Rock asked her about the two women. Kira explained how they had taunted her all of her years in school for being different.
“I was propositioned by both those women at a bar in Watford City,” Rock said seriously. “They said that they would give me ‘the ride of my life,’ which is disgusting by the way. I figured that they were both married.”
“They are.” Kira groaned.
“I refused their proposition.” Rock smirked.
“The rumors will be horrible now,” Kira said as she backed the truck out of the space and headed out of town. “They have always been bad, but now, they will be worse.”
“Because of your clothes?” Rock asked.
“Because I’m a freak,” Kira said. “I dress different, need different things, make different things, dream different things. I like a different type of man. The rumors will fly about you now. If you refused them but accepted me. I don’t even know what that makes me.”
“That makes you my tender, freaky flower in this cold, white tundra,” Rock said seriously. “Maybe the rumors will say that you are finally settling in with a nice gentleman.”
Kira was silent until they turned onto the ice. “I’m your flower?”
“My tender, freaky flower,” Rock repeated his words.
Kira felt the tension leave her body and she smiled at Rock. “I like being called your flower.”
“Well I am still debating what type of flower you are,” Rock said honestly. “I don’t think of you as a daisy, but I will figure it out.”
Kira backed the truck up to the front step and dropped the tailgate. They quickly unloaded the supplies and then Rock put Kira’s truck back in her garage. Kira was surprised when he didn’t use the garage door to enter the house, but instead walked around to the front door.
There was a horn beeping in the yard and Kira didn’t have the patience to listen to Gunner’s Morse code so she stood on the deck, yelled, and waved at him to come inside.
Gunner assumed his seat at the kitchen island, nodded to Rock, then to Kira. “Sherriff Morgan arrived shortly after the two of you left this morning.”
“Are you kidding?” Rock asked.
“No, Sir,” Gunner said. He pulled out his laptop and the video feed played. It showed the Sherriff wandering around the house, trying the doors, then making his way to the shed and garage.
“His search method is routine,” Gunner commented.
“Predatory,” Rock said.
“Yes, Sir,” Gunner replied. “Sheriff Morgan comes to the Knudson domicile an average of 3.73 times a month. His actions confirm that there is a high probability that he is obsessed with Kira or that he has fixated upon her property for reasons yet unknown.”
“When does Sherriff Moran try to visit?” Rock as
ked.
Gunner made some clicks into the keyboard of his laptop and then turned the screen toward Rock. “These are his last fifty-two visits charted upon a time graph. He has the highest probability of making a visit between four and five in the afternoon.”
“Lunch break,” Rock said.
“That is plausible,” Gunner said. “Kira is only inside of his jurisdiction by a fraction of a section of land.”
“How did he know that we left?” Rock asked. “Has he put a GPS tracker on your vehicle?”
“The residence and vehicles are routinely swept for any and all electronic surveillance not installed by me,” Gunner said.
Rock looked surprised and Kira shrugged her shoulders. “It kills the boredom and we have yet to find any such devices.”
“Vigilance is still the first defense, ma’am,” Gunner said.
“Don’t call me ma’am,” Kira scolded and Gunner apologized.
“I agree with Gunner,” Rock said. “Kira, how come you haven’t mentioned this before?”
“I’ve known the guy since kindergarten,” Kira said. “Okay, so it’s irrational, and yes, I agree it’s creepy. I don’t like the guy. He knows that. I honestly think he’s just trying to bust me with drugs.”
“Sheriff Morgan’s psychological profile does advise that if he was given a position of power there is a high likelihood that he would abuse it,” Gunner acknowledged, only looking at Rock. “Kira’s profile advised that there is a high probability that she would be the victim to someone in a position of power due to several variables in her lifestyle and personality.”
“That’s not good,” Rock said. He could see that Gunner was definitely right.
“What about Rock’s psychological profile?” Kira asked, pointing at Rock.
“He has family, no criminal record, his personality indicates he is ready for a fight given past employment,” Gunner went through the list as if he was reading it off of the computer screen but the laptop had gone to screen-saver. “The practice of martial arts has given him confidence and self-control that he lacked in his youth. The commercial pilot license and the plane still stored at the Millard airport in Nebraska attest to his ability to learn, have controlled confidence, and patience at getting what he wants by factoring in the income he was making in the time preceding the purchase of the plane. Finally, Rock not being able to walk away from you because you are all alone in the middle of nowhere shows a need to protect and defend those he considers to be weaker and more innocent than he is.”
