Landon returns to me and extends his hand, pulling me up from the sofa. He wraps his strong arms around me, and I sink into his embrace.
“I love you, baby.” His voice is a husky whisper.
“I love you.”
Three little words have never been truer, and yet the gravity of their meaning could never be explained with mere words. It’s a soul-crushing love that can only be felt, lived.
Landon peppers my face with soft kisses before his lips meet mine. He’s kissed me countless times, and still, each one steals my breath away.
“What should we write on the board today?” he asks me.
I cradle his face with my hands. “There’s just not enough space on the board for the weight of our blessings today.” I run my thumb across his cheekbone before dropping my hands.
Landon follows me into the kitchen where I erase my words from yesterday.

I hope you love Landon and Amy’s journey as much as I do! When writing A Beautiful Kind of Love, I named Lily’s sister after my book world friend Amy. At the time, I had no plans for a spin-off book, but as I was writing Lily and Jax’s story, I kept imagining what Amy and Landon were up to in the background. When readers asked me about Amy’s story, I knew I had to write it.
This book is dedicated to Amy Malek Concepcion. Amy was my very first beta reader for my debut book, Forever Baby. We immediately connected, and she’s been with me every step of the way since. She’s as authentic and kind as they come. In the book world, where online friendships aren’t always as they seem, Amy is the real deal. I can’t express how grateful I am to have someone I can always count on and that I know only wants the best for me. I love you, Amy. Every wall-sex scene I write will always be dedicated to you. ;-)
It is so crazy to me that I am publishing my twelfth book. It’s so surreal! Amazing. Dreams do come true! ☺ What a gift. ♥

In every one of my acknowledgment sections, I get quite wordy when expressing my love to all the amazing people in my life. I am so fortunate to have this life I’ve been given. I have a wonderful husband, healthy and happy children, an astonishing extended family, the best mother in the world, and friends who would do anything for me. I am so blessed and grateful to be surrounded by so much love that I want to shout it from the rooftops.
A special shout-out will always go to my siblings, who were my first soul mates. You will find them in every story I write because so much of what I know of love has come from them. One of my biggest wishes for my children is that they will always love each other unconditionally and fiercely, the way my siblings and I love each other.
