“Cap’n are you alright?” the other two shadow men rushed to the aid of the woman.
“Wow! that was a close one” Joe cried in excitement.
“Well then, you think you’re tough, are you?” She asked taking her robe off to reveal herself to them. “You earned an answer… my name is Tempest, and those who you are fighting are Bain and Kenry”
“Tempest huh? So, are you the leader?” Joe asked.
“Yes I am, and I’m here because of those people you two killed” Tempest said, her voice was bitter and loathful.
“Killed?” Joe asked in astonishment.
“I think you are mistaking us; we haven’t killed anyone” Linex replied.
“Stop saying excuses!” Tempest blurted out in anger blasting wind attacks at Linex which were as fast as bullets.
Each attack hit Linex several times, weakening him.
“Linex, don’t let your guard down!” Joe shouted.
“You too” Kenry declared punching away Joe, making him fly away, hitting the wall badly.
“Well you seem more alerted to the fighting” Bain surmised looking at Lysie.
“I’m not like them, plus I’m not letting myself lose by someone like you” Lysie replied, getting ready to battle.
“Being too confident is a habit you know” Bain chuckled.
Then they continued to fight. After some attacks Stephen called Lysie.
“I’m in a middle of a battle Steph” Lysie snapped.
“I need to let you know that we found everything we needed to rescue Aiden and an additional information that I found in a secret folder is that the monster that Linex and Joe fight, it is said that the monster got his form destroyed but before he got “destroyed” it split to three creatures and one of them were captured, and put to test and while the scientist investigated it was confirmed to be an alien including the ones that were in the park" Stephen reeled out the information hastily.
“So all of this was just a misunderstanding” Lysie asked dodging a punch from Bain.
“What I don’t get is why the scientist doesn’t consider it as mutant people? I don’t understand what they are saying, I even tried to find more information but that was all I could find” Stephen replied.
“Perfect Stephen, thank you” she ended the call and faced Bain.
Linex was on the ground in pain, but he managed to stand up again. “I won’t lose, I need to save Aiden at all cost” he crushed his hands together making him unleash more power and his fire power began to grow more. “I WON’T LOSE!" He trumpeted loudly at the very top of his voice.
A big explosion of red fire aura unleashed and Linex was completely immersed in it.
“Linex…” Joe whispered quite motivated. He picked himself up and continued his battle with Kenry.
“Dray…” Linex said communicating with his Flaredragon.
“Yes?” Urilion replied.
“I need the technique” Like said defiantly. It was now or never.
“Your power has grown more since last time, are you sure you…” Urilion said doubtfully.
Linex only cut him short. "Yes, I don’t have a chance facing her with just this amount of power and she is holding back I know it”
“Well then, let’s begin it” Urilion agreed, deep in Linex's body, the dragon assumed a lotus position.
Linex closed his eyes and the ground shook with tremors.
And when he finally opened his eyes again, and they started to glow red sparks around his iris; he was now in full dragon-rage mode.
“Hey, let’s get this over with” he addressed Tempest.
CHAPTER 17
LET’S TALK
As the fight raged on, Linex used the dangerous technique again, against Tempest. Lysie and Joe looked on in shock at Linex, they were quite shaken.
“Oh no…” they both gasped as Linex's power increased causing a massive earthquake.
“Tempest you have to get out there!” Lysie called to her.
“What are you talking about? Bain finish her off” Tempest snapped, ignoring Lysie's warning.
Bain sent a paralytic wave blast which affected Lysie preventing her from being able to move.
Seeing this only increased Linex's rage. “Leave her alone!” he cried sending a huge fireball around the area and proceeded to run at Tempest in full speed.
Lysie still unable to move, thought that Linex had lost consciousness, but clearly, he was just getting started.
Tempest blocked the fire punch. However, Linex only feigned to attack her with his right hand. Sensing that she had taken the bait, struck her hard with his left hand and as she fell off the bridge, he jumped after her and punched her again. Slamming her into the wall.
“Enough of this” she cried in anger. "I'm ending this now" she unleashed her full power against him.
“What’s wrong? Got serious now that I got stronger?” Linex growled in a rather deep voice.
“I’m getting sick of you” Tempest retorted and proceeded to use an attack called the Storm Bullets. She rained down wind pellets on him.
But Linex blocks off most of the attacks with his fire shield, making Tempest increase the intensity of her attacks.
Meanwhile, Joe and Kenry continued their battle, trying to catch each other off guard.
“You really strong and I love strong people, makes things rather interesting" Kenry scoffed.
“What?" Joe sneered, which earned him a punch in the face.
“What is this, from the last punch he has gotten stronger…” Joe reasoned as he prepared to attack back.
“Finally some good challenge,” Joe said as he activated his arms and legs to full power strength.
"Time to get this coat off, it has been such a bother and let’s have fun” Kenry said taking his coat off. Then he proceeded to punch the ground making big boulders which he hurled at Joe, but the latter only vaporized it with a beam like it was nothing.
“Easy” Joe smirked.
“Like your mom…” Kenry chipped in smiling.
“WHAT!?” Joe blurted out and jumped with all his might towards Kenry. Both landed a punch at each other at almost the same time.
Lysie was still immobilized. She stared at Bain and summoned every will power she could muster and tried using her left arm to activate her body protector system.
“The more you move, the more I make you suffer” Bain winked at her, releasing more shock waves.
Lysie screamed in pain, but she was not about to give up.
Linex hearing her scream shot a fire blast at Bain causing him to lose concentration.
Free, she proceeded to activate her body protector armor. “Thanks Linex!” she hollered at him.
“Knock it off” Linex replied, he was holding his own with Tempest, but it seemed that most of his punches were having no effect on Tempest. She was somehow using her powers to slow down his attacks.
“Can’t you see that your punches are nothing?” Tempest taunted.
“Shut up, I won’t give up… never!” His power and his technique were fading away, but his spirit of fighting was still there. “Even if I have a little portion of my power left, I won’t let my team die!” he released more firepower.
“Well show me that final resort of yours” Tempest said daring him.
Linex went mad with rage and finally allowed his power to make a huge explosion around the area. Everything went out with a loud bang.
Tempest was sprawled out on the ground, the smoke from the explosion had clouded the air around and she could see Linex lying on the floor, quite weak.
“That’s going to leave a mark” she smiled tottering towards Linex. When she was close enough to him, she created a Wind Blade and pointed it at Linex. There was a look of terror and fear in his eyes.
“You were a formidable opponent, but you didn’t last long against me, well then may you rest in peace” Tempest said raisin
g up the Wind Blade, in the bid to kill Linex. But Lysie threw herself between them.
"What are you doing little one?” Tempest asked in astonishment.
“You said we killed people?” Lysie said addressing her.
Tempest considered this and replied. “Precisely”
"Well, I guess you’re wrong” Lysie informed her.
“What do you mean by that?” Tempest inquired.
“I was informed that we… well Linex and Joe, haven’t killed any innocent people” Lysie insisted.
“Really? then who were those human monsters hat appeared in the city?” Tempest furthered, she had a doubtful look on her face.
“So you call it human monsters? Oh well, as a friend send information he said that the monster that Linex and Joe “killed” was not a human but an alien, and it was not literally killed because it got split into three creatures before it was going to be destroyed" Lysie explained.
Tempest dropped her blade after and afterthought and said. “Well I need to see that, and you two… stop the fight, I need to know more about it”
“My friend can show you the information, but he couldn’t find more about it… all I can say that we got proof that they did not killed anyone” Lysie replied.
“Very well, show me where your friend is” Tempest finally agreed.
“On my way” Lysie said. "You have to follow us back to the base" she added.
Tempest nodded her head again, in agreement.
Joe: “Hey noob, are you alright?” Joe asked nudging Linex who was still quite unconscious. "I hope you are…” he said picking up his friend and putting him over his shoulder.
They all went to the laboratory. On getting there, Joe placed Linex on the floor and Stephen scrambled towards him in fear.
“Linex! Is he alright?” he asked looking at the others.
“Not so much, but I’ll tell Markson to cure him, and we will let him get some rest in the mattress” Lysie replied touching Linex's forehead.
“Ok then…” Stephen muttered, he glanced at Linex again and honestly hoped that Markson would be able to heal him.
“Stephen, hurry and show the information to these brats” Joe said with spite.
“Who you are calling a brat?" Kenry started towards Joe, but Tempest stopped them.
“You two…” she hissed. They both glanced at her. “You want to sleep too?”
They simply stopped and looked away whistling.
“Ok, as you can see the information is not completed but I got the most important we needed for now…” Stephen said explaining all that had happened.
Tempest looked on shocked because she had thought that Team Magna was a threat.
“Oh my… our apologizes for the problem we caused to you all, forgive us” Tempest said sincerely apologetic.
“It’s alright, we are just here to rescue a friend from the military base” Lysie informed her.
"A friend? Humm… maybe we can help you then?” Tempest offered.
They all looked amazed by her offer, and Lysie said. “Well of course, why not? Oh, and by the way who are you?”
“We are the Blood Borne Hood” Tempest replied. “My comrades here are Kenry, Bain and I am Tempest”
Markson got out of Linex’s room, just after administering the medication that Linex needed.
“Everything is done, going back to business and oh…” he looked at The Blood Borne Hood and Tempest moved closer to him, she had heard his voice before.
"… His voice is kind of familiar, but I can’t remember…” Tempest whispered.
Markson only ignored her and went back to his computer.
“Maybe I’m thinking too much… and got any plan to bust in the military?” Tempest asked.
“Well for now that you join the team…” Markson started.
Tempest cut him short. “We just want to fix what we did; we don’t want to join anyone and thank you about it too”
Markson shrugged and explained. “Ok then… as I was saying as a long story short, Linex and I will be in the a helicopter while Lysie and Joe are in the ground beating the soldiers and now that you guys will help us, then Kenry will be with us in the helicopter and you with Bain will be on the ground with…”
“Sorry for interrupting but my powers are water and…” Bain added.
“Water powers heh? Very well Tempest you have?”
“Yes and paralytic wave blast” Bain asserted, almost proud of his powers.
“Alright, Alright” Markson replied rather annoying. “And Tempest?”
“I have thunder powers” Tempest answered.
“Perfect! Which you have a good power to make the soldiers fly for the first time, while Bain you will be helping Tempest too” Markson instructed.
“That’s a risky way to enter the military… but I always liked to sneak attack, especially if it’s the military… very well everything is settled” Tempest agreed.
“Probably by two days we will be prepared to leave to the military base if Linex gets back in good condition for battling” Markson said.
“Understood, Bain and Kenry… see you there then” Tempest nodded at them and they soon vanished.
Joe headed to Linex’s room, only to discover that he had regained consciousness.
“Hey Joe, did I do fine in the fight?” he asked looking confused.
Joe only stared at him and gave him a little smile. “Well you have done good, and I’m glad about it” he patted his friend on the back.
CHAPTER 18
PREPARATION
By morning the next day, Linex was almost recovered. He was consequently lying down on his mattress when Joe walked in.
“Good morning” Joe announced.
“Good morning to you too” Linex replied smiling. He was still very much grateful for how Joe had looked out for him, after the fight, the day before.
Joe nodded. “Thanks man” A moment of silence pervaded the atmosphere, and after a while Linex turned to Joe.
“Hey Joe, I was thinking… why are you treating me different from before? I mean surely you’re still the same but it’s like you're someone else now" Linex said.
“Well… sometimes I think about the past between us, and well… it’s like everything was yesterday, those memories when we were at the cliff looking at the sunset was really special for me…” Joe replied.
Both boys seated together on the cliff, watching the sunset go down.
“Hey Joe…” a younger Linex had said.
“Yeah Linex?” Joe had replied.
“What do you think is happening out there?” Linex pointed at the sky.
Joe had asked squinted at the sky, looking around curiously. “You mean around the “Earth”?”
“Nah I hear a lot on what’s happening here” Linex said lying down and gazing up at the sky. “I mean outside in the universe, could there be something more than just being here sitting in the couch and looking at TV? Could there be people who have a happy life? I mean I want to know more than just the same cycle of my life. I want to make everybody around me happy and secure of themselves, help those in danger and many things…” Linex had said in deep wonder, his eyes still fixated on the sun.
Joe had only laughed at that. “How can you do that? But if you think that way… well, you are very nice person Linex. You even stayed on my side for long… not like others, but I’m saying that you make me feel special, like my life means a lot to you…”
“Well you are my best friend Joe… of course I care for you so much as if you were my brother” Linex glanced at him.
Joe had stared at Linex and somehow, the tears just seemed to leak out. “My life has not been easy, but you tear me up. At least you accepted me even if I look like a weirdo with a jacket all day”
“Why is it you always wear a jacket?” Linex had asked.
Joe smiled think. “I’ll tell you in a future when I get r
eady, I promise”
“Ok then”
“If there are people out there in the universe, I wonder if they are happy as well, if they are not, maybe you and I can make a difference”
“Exactly Joe, even you can make it” Linex had agreed.
“Yeah… Well it’s kind of getting late we should return” Joe noted, and the boys hobbled back home.
“In those moments I felt so happy and ever since that day you haven’t changed, you care for a lot of people, and even if I changed because of my life, but I feel conformable when I’m around you. Stronger than before… even if I became this, I still care for you…" Joe paused regarding Linex. "I was going to try to rescue you but Kenry was strong he couldn’t let me get to you, and I’m sorry Linex… but next time I will defend you!”.
“You may have changed but your heart seems to be the same Joe that was before” Linex only laughed.
Joe agreed. “Maybe I am still sensitive…”
“Ahhhh don’t get mad because you couldn’t protect me, I tried my best to protect you guys and if I had died, I'd have died giving my all to you all” Linex added.
“Same here bro… same here” Joe nodded.
Consequently, Lysie poked her head into the room.
“Joe, is Linex ok?” she inquired.
“Uhh… well he is fine for now, Linex can you stand?” Joe asked.
Linex made to stand up even, he staggered a bit and almost fell. But Joe caught him.
“Stay in your bed for now Linex, we need you to be recovered for tomorrow, even if you can’t fight at full strength” Joe said placing him on the bed.
“Of course I won’t let you guys down” Linex smiled.
Markson made his path into the room, he had a rather large grin on his face. “Tomorrow will be the day… I hope you all are prepared, and Linex… I believe you will do well”
“Yes I will” Linex replied. No matter how weak he was feeling, he had decided that he was going to fight until he had rescued his Sensei.

Soldiers opened a large door, and someone clad in a dark cloak walked in. Seated on a throne, was a hunched over figure, with a large crown of gold.
