  “Well… not anymore you are out of the law” Commander Alderson said turning the box’s speech communicator off. “Now for your excuses me, I have some alien to crush”

  The fight between Tempest and the hunters raged on. They were still having trouble trying to take down the hunters. Lysie got blasted by Agron and Tempest caught her before she could fall off the playoffs.

  “Are you alright?” Tempest asked with concern.

  “I guess I am” Lysie replied regaining her balance.

  “Stay close and if you need backup tell me alright?” Tempest said.

  “Got it” Lysie replied.

  Stephen, on the other hand, was having problem with the hunters since his armor was big and strong. However, it was quite incapable of allowing speed.

  “Guys I need help here!” Stephen cried.

  “Wait Steph!” Lysie jumped high, moving towards him.

  Agron had attacked him again, and while Stephen was trying to shake him off, he found the source to the armor’s energy.

  “Found you…” Agron smiled turning it off.

  “Oh no…” Tempest moaned silently under her breath. Jumping right in front of Stephen, she blocked a direct punch from Agron.

  Stephen looked up; his face was gloomy. “Aw… sorry… I tried” he whispered, looking rather grim-faced.

  “It’s ok you tried now leave it to us” Lysie soothed.

  “Leave it to us?” a husky voice came from behind. Lysie glanced back and Wrath slapped her away from the armor and grabs Stephen.

  “So little human… you tried to be the hero here? You came to the wrong battleground… which you should have stayed in your home playing toys” Wrath said angrily and proceeded to charging up his hand.

  “STEPHEN!” Lysie cried helplessly.

  “Goodbye you little bug” Wrath croaked.

  Before he could land his attack on Stephen, Tempest sent Wrath a barrage of storm bullets that sent Wrath flying away, leaving Stephen sprawled on the ground.

  Lysie rushed to him and picks him up making for the military base door.

  “Get inside you’ll be safer here” Lysie advised pushing him into the room.

  “What can I do?” Stephen asked looking on confusion.

  “Go and find Markson maybe he can put you inside his machine” Lysie said.

  “What if I find a soldier?” Stephen replied quite a bit scared.

  “Then here, take this” Lysie handed him a ray gun, one that Markson had given her.

  “Ok, be careful” Stephen squeezed her hand.

  “I will” Lysie said hurrying back into the battle.

  Using her wind powers, Tempest managed to blow off Agron smashing him to the wall. Looking at Wrath, she shook her head in indignation. “How stupid of you… trying to kill a boy, how pitiful of you… you will regret for what you were going to do”

  “It’s my job, I kill and get rewarded… simple” Wrath replied unperturbed.

  “Rewarded? Well, you will get your reward, after I destroy your arms and legs” Tempest growled angrily.

  “Do it…” Wrath replied.

  “Lysie take charge of Agron while I deal with him” Tempest said.

  “You take care of me? Ha! It takes more than just fleshy punches from you” Wrath chuckled.

  Tempest had a baleful smile. “If you say so… I’m going to take your parts to the junk yard”.

  Tempest jumped with full speed towards Wrath, they dodged a lot of each other's attacks and in the moment Wrath unleashed multiple beam attacks to Tempest. She blocked most of those attacks and jumped to the air, making wind swirl around her to keep her off the ground from the explosions of the beams.

  Wrath jumped towards Tempest again and they clashed several times, sending each other backwards.

  Tempest then created a thunderstorm and sent a direct hit at Wrath.

  “That was unexpected, so your power is storm"

  “Yes, and?” Tempest asked.

  Wrath applauded her. “Nice very nice indeed… so we are the same… how convenient”

  Tempest looked on in surprise. “The same? Wait… you don’t mean”

  “Yes I am like you; can’t you see the obvious? I am an android, but I was once a human like them, but then I was experimented and turned into this, but I felt so powerful that I didn’t need to feel awful about it, besides I even got a contract to work for the military then I saw others with the same fate I had and we created a team… to hunt down aliens or those who are not humans anymore and guess something…” Wrath explained.

  “What?” Tempest asked.

  “You might be here to save an alien and I guess that you are even thinking that you all may be the only monsters around, but you don’t get that we vaporized many of your kind” Wrath said boastfully.

  A moment of silence descended on the battlefield and Tempest was looking down and Wrath was smiling with malevolence.

  ***

  Linex was still trying to find Aiden when suddenly, two soldiers appeared in a hallway.

  “There!” one of the soldiers pointed at him. They fired at him rapidly.

  He attacked the soldier on the left and disabled him while other got shot down by someone.

  “Who took down the other guy?” Linex wondered.

  Stephen hurried in breathing hard, the ray gun clutched tightly in his grip.

  “Steph!” Linex gasped more out of surprise.

  “Hey Linex, by the way are they dead?” Stephen asked curiously.

  Linex placed a hand one of the chests of the soldiers to hear the heart’s pulse. “They are still alive… anyways we must go"

  “Alright” Stephen agreed. They hurried through the basement and stopped in front of a door.

  “What’s in this room?” Linex wondered. “Stephen stay here, in about fifteen minutes you get out and see if you can get a path to find us, probably around fifteen minutes we have Aiden already, A’ight?”

  Stephen nodded. “Ok then, I’m counting on you”

  Linex left hastily and Stephen stood outside the room.

  Moving forward through the room, he found another door. “Now, where is he? Maybe he is in the other side of that door” Linex reasoned to himself.

  He got closer to the door and opened it; he was soon inside a laboratory.

  There was a big machine at the far corner. “Well, that thing probably could move in any moment”

  Glancing around he could make out Aiden in a glass box.

  “Sensei!” he cried almost hurrying towards the glass.

  Aiden only pointed to his left. It appeared he couldn't say anything.

  “We are here to rescue you!” Linex announced.

  Sensei Aiden only pointed again to Linex’s left.

  Linex smiled. “Of course we are going that way!”

  Almost immediately the ground shook and Linex glanced left to find a robotic arm almost about to smash him and Linex dodged it.

  “Yeah I knew you would move” Commander Alderson commented almost impressed. “Almost got you there, but even if it was a surprise attack I knew you would dodge it”

  “What have you done to him!?” Linex retorted.

  “Who? The old guy? Well nothing just a little of punishment for what he has done in the town” Commander Alderson grinned.

  Linex's screamed in anger. “What has he done to you!?” And he unleashed a flamethrower, but it didn’t have any effect on the commander who managed to block it and Linex got frustrated about it. “I’ll take you down you will see!”.

  “Not on my watch little brat” the commander replied still grinning.

  CHAPTER 21

  ROBOTIC SHOWDOWN

  The fight between Linex and Commander Alderson began earnestly.

  “Why did you have to capture him? What has he done to you!?” Linex asked quite angry.

  “He is nothing but an alien, he does not
belong here with us” The commander replied vehemently.

  “Of course he does! He may be an alien but… he deserves to live in peace he even defends us from those evil monsters” Linex retorted.

  “Silence!” Commander Alderson snapped back and raced towards Linex. Meanwhile, Linex jumped dodging most of the attacks.

  But the commander was able to eventually land him a punch to the wall, smashing him in. Linex fell off slowly.

  “That punch was strong, so that robot of yours is not like the rest” Linex groaned in pain.

  “You will regret coming here, that’s for being a naive boy” Commander Alderson said pounding both fists together.

  “Time to power up!” Linex cried, summoning every ounce of strength he unleashed his white fire aura around him, and Commander Alderson looked in shock.

  “So you are one of them too… no wonder you are here to rescue him” The commander noted thoughtfully.

  Linex ran towards the him and then Commander Alderson started shooting energy beams at Linex which he dodged successfully.

  Commander Alderson used his robotic hands and blasted a powerful beam attack which Linex countered with a fire blast suppressing the beam, before kicking the robot.

  The robot fell back and Linex looked on quite satisfied. “What’s wrong? Too slow for me?”.

  Commander Alderson only smirked at that. “I’m just getting used to this, so don’t worry I’m not going hard on you… but the battle starts now”

  “Bring it” Linex whispered, eyes fixated on the robot.

  The robot started getting more powerful and stronger, charging and recharging its power source.

  The moment that the robot finished charging it ran at full speed towards Linex, he wasn't expecting such a quick recomposure.

  He gasped in surprise. “What?”

  The robot punched Linex really hard to the air and then the robot jumped again.

  “Huh?” air whooshed out of his lungs. The robot then did a kick attack and Linex countered it, but the speed of the attack was really fast that Linex fell to the ground and hitting the wall and obliterating it.

  He was shaking and looking a bit injured. “I came… to save him… and learn more but not just that… but because he does not deserve this punishment!”

  Linex powered up and ran towards the robot and then clashed into it causing a massive tremor.

  “Give it up kid, there is nothing that you can do, after all you will also be part of his fate” Commander Alderson warned.

  “Enough!” Linex shouted and released powerful fire blast. The smoke clouded the air. But Commander Alderson emerged out of the smoke and smashed him into the ground.

  Commander Alderson chuckled. “How can you save him if you keep letting your guard down? Is that all you got for me? Then I guess that you are not worth of saving him”

  Aiden was watching the fight and was getting angrier. He hated the fact that he was seeing Linex get injured.

  “I can’t keep watching this… LINEX!” the old master cried and punched the box, but the box was too strong to be taken down and C. Alderson glanced at him.

  “What is it creature? You are not going anywhere” Commander Alderson gloated.

  That was when he heard the growling deep sound.

  “This is not all that I got”

  He turned around and looked at the smoke and saw red eyes glowing then the smoke got away from a pulse which it was Linex using his technique.

  “What is this pathetic robot of yours? Pff, what you’re looking at? This is not over you know… or maybe it is, for you” Linex said in a deep voice.

  “What is wrong with your eyes?” Commander Alderson asked.

  “What? This? This is just me… but better!” And a whitish red aura came out of him. Aiden saw the technique and recognized it.

  “Oh no… this is bad that technique pushes the body past the limits and with those wounds he will probably not keep up long, he even… can’t control it… his anger took control of him” Aiden groaned to himself.

  “So then let’s start the end of you” Linex addressed the Commander.

  Just when Linex and C. Alderson started the second round, Joe and Kenry where still struggling with Brook and Tank but the battle had gotten easier since they began to work together.

  “I see you two are still struggling, that’s a shame… I expected more of you two together” Wrath said with spite.

  “Hey, Kenry” Joe turned to Kenry.

  “What is it?” Kenry asked, regarding their opponents.

  “What if we switch opponents rapidly?” Joe suggested.

  “I don’t know your idea, but I think I’m starting to like it” Kenry agreed.

  Brook grinned. “What are you plotting now?”

  “Now” Joe announced, they started to change positions fast attacking the opponents once and making the enemies confused.

  “Oh Kenry at count of three, jump…” Joe said in anticipation.

  “As you say cap’n” Kenry replied.

  “one, two and three!” Kenry jumped and Joe got low, crossed his arms and charged both of his blasters.

  “Oh no” Both Brook and Tank grunted in fear.

  Joe blasted with full power to both the enemies. They went flying and the energy attack made an explosion, Joe stood up and Kenry got to the ground. Kenry.

  “Didn’t expect that from you” Kenry complimented him.

  Just follow me and the combos will work, heads up they are standing” Joe said smiling.

  Brook got out of the smoke cleaning his shoulders. “Don’t tell me that was all you got”.

  For a moment he disappeared, and Joe was rather surprised.

  “Kenry he vanished!” Joe stopped, his eyes bulging with terror.

  “Joe are you… what!” Kenry fell beside him.

  And Brook reappeared smiling at Kenry. “It’s been a while since I used this ability”

  Joe spat and kneeled to the ground because of a hard punch Brook landed to him.

  “Joe!” Kenry shouted.

  Then Brook jumped to rejoin Wrath. “You see, we were just having fun with you… We knew both of you would not be a match against us” he gloated.

  Kenry looked up at them and turned to help Joe stand up.

  “Joe… let’s do our best now” Kenry supported him, helping the latter rise to his feet.

  “It hurts” Joe grimaced.

  Kenry stared at Joe and turned around towards Wrath and Brook. “I can’t let this young boy keep fighting; I will be fighting alone for now”

  “What a waste, I thought of a serious fight but then the boy can’t stand anymore, and you are going to face us both? Very well if that’s what you decide, then that’s what you earn” Wrath shook his head in disappointment.

  Brook frowned. “Wait, just when you take him down to his final moment, let me do the rest as the leader”

  Tank agreed. “Fine then” The both of them went at full speed towards Kenry and he smiled.

  “Wait a second…” Tank's eyes widened. But it was too late. Kenry jumped and Joe caught the enemies off guard while charging his blaster and he attacked them again at the same time making them crash all the vehicles in the way.

  “Nice one, I knew you were faking it” Kenry winked at him. "Just for the record"

  Joe smiled thinly. “It really hurt, but after the pain got away I quickly got that opportunity”.

  “That’s my trickster” Kenry patted him.

  Suddenly an explosion occurred where Brook and Wrath was, which it was them and they were angry.

  “Seriously, you thought you won already?” Brook growled angrily.

  The clouds were turning dark.

  “What is going on?” Joe asked in curiosity.

  Brook and Tank looked up as well and were quite confounded, the only one that was incredibly worried and scared was Kenry.

  “No… it ca
nnot be…” he muttered in fear.

  “What is it?” Joe inquired.

  Kenry only looked on in stunned silence, clearly shaken by what he was seeing.

  “Tell me Kenry!” Joe shook him.

  “It’s Tempest she’s…” Kenry replied.

  “What is wrong with her?” Joe asked still looking up at the darkening skies.

  “She is… We have to go to her quickly!” Kenry screamed.

  Brook started towards them. “You are not going any…” Then his communicator rang. “urghhh… Yes? But… we were fighting them… Understood sir”

  “Who was it?” Tank asked.

  “Commander is telling us to separate to be at each entrance of the base” Brook replied.

  “Why?” Tank wondered.

  “He sent thousands of soldiers, including Tanks and Helicopters… they are basically coming to take down the base with them”

  “They are easy to take out, why would…” Tank continued.

  “Listen to the commander, or else” Brook warned.

  “Hmph, Fine”. They left while Kenry and Joe ran to where Tempest and the others were.

  While Kenry and Joe were going after Tempest, Linex was battling still battling Commander Alderson.

  Linex was blocking with his arms the hard attacks the robot landed on him, which for Linex was a way to defend himself since he had no intention of fleeing.

  “What is with this robot is like it’s indestructible” he wondered to himself.

  The robot was going to punch Linex and he crossed his arms for defense, but at that same moment he faked the punch. “What!” Linex gasped.

  The robot's left arm changed into a big cannon and blasted a huge energy wave towards Linex.

  The wave got through the walls to the other side and Joe and Kenry saw it.

  “Well Linex probably is having company in there too” he noted.

  CHAPTER 22

  THE REALIZATION

  As the energy wave broke through the wall, Joe and Kenry looked on at it still running towards Tempest. Joe: “Maybe I should help him”

  “Markson is with him, you don’t need to worry about anything” Kenry noted.
