now that was gone and she really resented her mom for that.

Ally got the message and stayed clear keeping herself busy

with a jigsaw puzzle on the kitchen table, even though the

kitchen and the living room were more the same room. Kim tried

to set her mind off the fight with her mom and flow back to Jake

but it had been hard. Finally she thought about meeting him on

Friday. That helped but was also frustrating as she would have

to wait another 6 days, but she had his card again and she could

call him if she really couldn"t wait. Or could she? She still

didn"t want to seem too eager and turn him off. But he hadn"t

seemed put off by anything about her. Kids at school never seem

to have a problem to find something to harass her about but Jake

had been all smiles and she even had gotten the impression that

he liked her. Hell, if anything he had seemed as coming on

pretty strong. She hadn"t minded though, it had made things easy

for her. He had made her feel more comfortable and less afraid

to say the wrong thing. She couldn"t wait and her mood got

better and better and she had all but forgotten about the fight

  half an hour later.

She walked into her room and her mom had put her clean

clothes on the bed. Quickly she grabbed the new outfit and stuck it in her dresser. She was initially going to wear it

immediately on Monday again but now though better of that.

“I"ll leave this for Friday” she thought.

After putting the rest of her clothes away she moved back

into the main room and opened the fridge. Ally was still working

on the jigsaw and with five hundred pieces she was not making

much progress. Kim grabbed the dish her mom had left for them

from the fridge and stuck it in the oven. Then she sat down and

helped Ally with the jigsaw. Ally looked up as Kim sat down and

smiled. She had feared a long evening but Kim seemed in a much

  better mood now.

They worked on the jigsaw until the oven timer went off and

Kim got the dish out and dished up two plates. They worked on

the jigsaw while playing and neither said much but it felt close

and they both seemed in a good mood. When they were done with

dinner the jigsaw was almost done as well. They finished it and

left it on the table; not because they didn"t feel like cleaning

it up but more like a trophy. At least until their mom saw it.

They did the dishes and played another game of monopoly. This

time Kim was on it. With the next meeting with Jake setup she

didn"t have to dream about him. Six long days and she would see

him again, no more wondering. Ally unfortunately was the victim of this as Kim was

relentless in the game and Ally soon had lost. After the game

they watched the TV for a bit. When Kim noticed it was nine

thirty she realized her mom would be back soon. She didn"t feel

like going on where they had left off and told Ally that they

should get in bed. Ally protested that it was a Saturday and

they didn"t have to get up early in the morning.

“I"ll read to you for a bit” she offered as a bribe.

Ally agreed. They went to bed and she started reading. Ally

started dozing off in no time. She loved being read to and it

relaxed her but at night it put her right to sleep. Kim had

counted on this. After she was sure Ally was asleep Kim put the

book away and turned the light off. Not ten seconds later she

heard the door to the apartment open and her mom calling out for

Kim and Ally. Then she saw the bedroom door open and she

pretended to be asleep. Her mom frowned in surprise and some

disappointment that they were asleep already and closed the

door. She had wanted to apologize to Kim for flying off the

  handle like that earlier.

The next few days things seemed to be back to normal.

Neither she nor her mom had mentioned the fight again and both

considered it done with. Kim seemed to drift off in her day

dreams more and more and her mom had asked her if she was ok several times. She just responded that she was fine and tried to

shake it off. Sometimes successful and sometimes she would drift

right off again. Her mom had started joking around about it.

“You better not go out alone anymore, you"ll get hit by a

  bus” she had joked.

Kim just ignored it. Most of the time she didn"t even have

to ignore it since she didn"t register it anyway. At school she

had told everything to Annie who had listened with great

enthusiasm and she was very excited for her. Kim confessed that

she had used Annie as her alibi to which Annie had frowned but

finally said “Anything for love.” Time went way too slow. It

  couldn"t be Friday fast enough.

Friday finally arrived and she had gotten in a better mood

every day leading up to it. She was almost high now even though

she had not reference to how that would feel, or at least she

didn"t ever remember feeling this good. She got up an hour

before her alarm went off and when she walked into the living

room, her mom had just gotten out of the shower. She had a

surprised look on her face to see Kim up and awake this early.

Kim wasn"t an early riser and when she had to get up early it

took her a long time to transform from a zombie on autopilot to

a conscious human being, but today Kim was very much awake and

pleasant. They had breakfast together and her mom asked her what was

up with her. She was off in lala-land all the time and now

  getting up this early.

“Is it a boy?” Her mom had asked.

Kim nodded carefully with a sheepish smile on her face

which felt as if it was red hot. Her mom"s face lit up. She was

  actually excited for her.

“Someone at school?” she inquired further.

Kim nodded again. That wasn"t true but if she would admit

that it wasn"t someone from school it would trigger a lot of

questions that would make her mom suspicious and she surely was

not likely to approve of Jake, he was too old for her. It was

not right. If it were someone from school it would be a lot

easier to keep her mom from prying.

“What"s his name?” was the next question.

Kim almost blurted out “Jake” but at the last moment she

  changed it to “Josh.”

Her mom didn"t need to know too much, she sensed that she

was embarrassed and let it be. Kim just stared at her cereal and

slowly shoveled it in while her mom watched her smiling. She was glad that her daughter seemed so happy. Her mom got up and got

dressed. She kissed Kim goodbye and left.

“Don"t forget. I have a shift tonight, can you be home by

five thirty so Mrs. Simons doesn"t have to watch Ally too long”

  she said.

Kim nodded but was annoyed about being on a time constraint

on her date. Was it really a date? He had asked her to meet him

so it was a date she decided. It really would be her first date.

She had kissed a boy before but that was it, it had been at

summer camp and it was just something everyone did. Nate had

been his name and he had been a year younger t
han her but he had

been available and she seemed younger than him. She never heard

from him since then and she had made no attempt to contact him

again. Their “fling” had just been a way to pass the time at

camp but there had been no really feelings with it. She had not

longed to see him when they were apart. The exciting part had

been the sneaking around and not him. He had been a tool in the

adventure and she was pretty sure that he had felt the same way.

She had never longed for anyone like she did now. She got

up and took her shower. Then she woke Ally up and Ally got

herself a bowl of cereal while Kim got dressed. She had saved

the outfit he had bought her for today. “Would he notice?” she had wondered.

Then she went into her mom"s room and put on some of her

mom"s make up. Just a little, she didn"t want to look like a

slut. Ally got dressed and looked at her curiously.

“Why are you wearing make up?” she asked.

Kim just shrugged not wanting to try and explain it and end

up telling more lies. Her quota of lies had been filled for the

rest of the year and it was only February. They left for the bus

and got on, Ally got off the bus at the middle school and Kim

continued on. At the high school she got off and she went

through the motions of school on autopilot. When the final bell

rang and she was finally done, she shot out of the school en

route to the mall. If anyone asked her what she had learned at

school that day she couldn"t have told them a single thing. The

whole day had seemed like a blur which had been one big

  daydream.

When she got to the mall it was almost four. She spotted

the Porsche in the parking lot and was instantly in a great

mood. He was really here and she hurried to the food court to

find him sitting there at an empty table. He noticed her

immediately and jumped up almost knocking the chair down. He clumsily caught it and prevented it from hitting the tile floor

with a loud bang. She laughed and he kissed her on the cheek.

  “Are you hungry?” he asked.

  “Just a little” she said.

“Mind if we go somewhere else?” he asked.

  She shrugged and said “Sure.”

She didn"t mind. This place would be crawling with kids

from her school soon just like every Friday afternoon and she

had spent enough time with them already. He grabbed her hand and

led her to the exit. On the way out they passed a few girls from

her class and they immediately started whispering. That was the

perfect amount of exposure. They saw her with this handsome man

and it would go around the school like wildfire. But she didn"t

need to spend any more time with them. They got to the car and

he opened the door for her. She slid in, he got in on the other

  side.

“I have to be home by five thirty” she said apologetically.

He smiled and pulled out. They headed south, then west on

Bluemound. Soon they pulled into the lot of Kopp"s, which had

the best custard ever. The weather was freezing and he took her

to get ice cream. Weird she thought but somehow it was perfect. They both had a vanilla cone and he told her how beautiful she

  looked. She blushed.

  “Like my outfit?” she asked.

He nodded and said “I should take you shopping more often.”

They sat there for a while eating their ice cream

pretending that was preventing them from talking so the silences

weren"t that awkward. When they were done it was five.

“I should take you home” he said.

She nodded and they left. He opened every door they passed

for her and helped her into the car and she loved every minute

of it. Nobody had ever been so attentive to her. People normally

just took her for granted but not Jake. She just couldn"t

believe her luck. They sped off to her apartment frequently

staring at each other. He stopped around the corner again and

  leaned over.

“I really like you” he said, “and would like to see you

  again.”

“I"d like that” she admitted, her face must have been as

red as a ripe tomato she thought.

He leaned in closer and kissed her gently on the lips. It

was a quick kiss and no touch she had ever felt had been this good. She quickly kissed him back before he could pull back. He

didn"t seem to mind and the kiss extended. Mouths opened and in

seconds tongues were dueling. Nate"s kisses had never felt like

this. This was not just exciting to not get caught. This was

like a fire that erupted inside her and she couldn"t get enough

of it. Finally the kiss broke off and they stared at each other.

She opened the door and got out. She had to process what just

  happened.

He looked a little surprised at her quick exit and asked

“Next Friday? Same time, same place?” wondering if she was still going to go for it. She nodded and walked away.

  Chapter 6:

She walked into the apartment closed the door and leaned

back against the door. Her head was spinning and she couldn"t

comprehend what was happening to her. When she saw the clock and

noticed it was five thirty she remembered she had to pick Ally

up at Mrs. Simons. She went to the bathroom and washed the make

up from her face wanting to avoid any questions she didn"t want

to answer and then she headed out and knocked on the door of

apartment four. Ally opened the door and said hi.

“You ready kiddo” she said and Ally grabbed her bag and

coat and waved to Mrs. Simons.

Then they went back to their own apartment.

“You look red” Ally said, the statement being more a

  question than a comment.

  “I ran home” Kim lied.

I might as well spend next year"s quota in lies while I"m

on a roll she thought. She couldn"t explain what she couldn"t make sense of herself. She had this raging fire still going

strong in her gut. In the apartment she pulled a pack of

microwaveable lasagna out and shoved it in the microwave. Four

minutes later it beeped and she dished it up and put it on the

  table.

“Dinner” she yelled and Ally came into the kitchen to grab

her plate to take it back to the living room so she could watch

another iCarly that she had already seen more times then she

  could remember.

“Aren"t you eating?” she asked seeing only one plate.

“No, not hungry” Kim said, “I need a shower.”

“Didn"t you shower this morning?” Ally quizzed.

“Yes, but I"m sweaty from running” she said and thought

  “and another one.”

This lying thing is getting to be a habit. She walked into

the bathroom and turned on the shower. She dropped her clothes

on the floor and got in. The fire just wouldn"t go away. She

turned the shower colder but she was still sweating. Then she

took the showerhead of its holder and guided it over her

shoulder, across her breast and past her stomach to her vagina.

She maneuvered it so the spray was on the right spot and with

her other hand she caressed her breast as she would picture him d
oing. She was so turned on that it took but a few moments

before she erupted into the most intense orgasm she had ever

had. She put the showerhead back in its holder and sat down in

the shower. Warm water still running over her she tried to catch

her breath. She sat there for an undetermined period of time.

Finally as the warm water was running out she turned off

the water and dried herself. She put on her bathrobe and threw

the clothes in the hamper. The fire was gone. She felt weird,

weird because here was this guy that she had only spent less

than two and a half hours with and he had made her feel like

that. Sure the showerhead had helped and it had never worked

that well before. She had never felt like that and hungered for

more. She wanted him to take over from the showerhead though.

The weekend and rest of the week went by way too slow. She

wanted it to be Friday again. At school the rumors were flying

around but she didn"t respond to them. She only told Annie and

Annie just ate it up. She thought it was the most romantic thing

ever and confessed that she wished that Matt would kiss her like

  that.

  “Matt who?” Kim responded.

“Matt Pierce” Annie shot back irritated “you know the guy

in our class that I"ve told you I like?” “Yeah, I remember. Sorry” Kim said not meaning the apology.

Matt was not worth talking about when Jake had to be

discussed. They couldn"t be in the same context. Matt was a nerd

and Jake was a god. Annie dropped it disappointed in her

friend"s reaction and got up and left. Kim said bye and didn"t

  even notice her friend"s disappointment.

After Annie had left, the cheerleading squad stopped by

asking “Where"s your loverboy?” in a childish and obnoxious

  tone.

She didn"t even warrant it worthy of a response and grabbed

her backpack and raced after Annie. “Annie, hold up!” she

  yelled.

Annie stopped and turned to see her.

“Sorry” Kim told her, “my brain isn"t working, there is too

much bouncing around in it and I didn"t mean to be so self

  absorbed.”

Annie smiled and nodded “Yeah, sometimes you can be a real

bitch” she said jokingly and they laughed.

Friday came around again. She woke up early again but

stayed in bed until she heard her mom close the door behind her
