Aurora’s Betrayal Page 21

by K. A Knight

“Lean back, baby,” he coos, and I do.

Alex moves to make room and leans over my right side. With Ezra to my left, they run their eyes down me.

As one, they push up my cami. I lift my back and let them pull it off. My panties go next. I’m left naked between them, their eyes eating up every inch of skin and making me shiver before they even touch me.

I’m still a bit sore from Alex earlier, but they’re gentle.

Alex leans down and kisses my throat and chest, circling one of my nipples and sucking. Ezra runs his lips down my stomach, kisses my thigh and foot, then works his way back up again. They kiss and lick, tasting me all over, working me up slowly to a fever pitch. Every caress of their hands makes me arch beneath them as they worship me.

Alex brings his head up and kisses me gently, almost leisurely, exploring my mouth without any of the earlier frenzy in his touch, and I follow his lead, kissing him almost lazily.

Ezra runs his nose along my pelvis and dives lower, parting my lips and licking a long line up to my clit and circling it. Reaching down, I grip his hair, holding his head to me as I push my pussy to his face. It’s almost too much. My clit is still sore after the pounding it took earlier. He seems to sense it because he goes slower, teasing me with his fingers as his tongue laps me up, making me gasp into Alex’s mouth. My eyes nearly roll back into my head when his finger presses to my other hole, just pressing there until I relax and then he slowly pushes it inside making me jerk up from the bed. It’s not my first time with someone playing with my ass so when he adds another finger I groan and grind down onto his face and fingers.

The pace isn’t rushed, and the orgasm builds within me slowly, every kiss, every caress another drop in the bucket. I explode against them, moaning into Alex’s mouth.

Ezra works his way back up my body, kissing here and there as I catch my breath. Pulling away from Alex, I watch them both as they shift around me. Even after my orgasm, all I can think about is having them. Having them both.

“I need you,” I grab them both, making sure my meaning is clear.

“Are you sure?” Alex asks, always the protector.

Leaning forward, I kiss him gently, letting him feel my answer. Pulling away, I watch as his pupils dilate, the dominant Alex coming out to play.

“On your side,” he orders, and I turn to face Ezra who lays down next to me and grins.

Ezra’s big hand lands on my thigh, and he pulls it over his leg until we’re lined up. I drop a kiss on his chest as he rubs the head of his cock along my pussy.

  Fucking tease.

Reaching down, I grab his cock and line him up again. He groans, gripping my thigh harshly as he slips the tip of his cock in.

Staring into my eyes, he pushes in slowly, fighting through my tight channel until he bottoms out. We breathe hard as Alex settles behind me.

I hear him fumbling around in my side drawer before a bottle clicks open, the sound loud in the quiet room. Then his cock, covered in something cold, rubs on my ass.

“You ever had anal sex?” he whispers.

Still looking into Ezra’s eyes as he lays with his hard cock in me, I swallow. “Yes.”

They don’t speak. Ezra’s eyes glint, and he twists his hips, making me gasp as Alex parts my cheeks and begins pushing into my clenching hole, past the tight muscle.

He stops part way and pulls out before pushing back in again until he’s balls deep. All of us breathe deep. I lay between them trying not to scream. I’m so fucking full. Every shift sends a pang of pleasure through me, and I need them to move.

As if they hear me, they do, slowly. Ezra in, Alex out. They work together, pushing and pulling as they make love to me. Because that’s what this is.

Alex leaves branding kisses along my shoulder as Ezra captures my lips and swallows my moans. All it takes is for Ezra to twist his hips and Alex to thrust in, and I come, screaming into Ezra’s mouth.

They follow me. Ezra yells into my mouth as Alex bites my neck to hold in his yell.

Their cum spurts into me, and I lay shaking between them.

  Holy shit.

Running my hands across Ezra’s chest, I decide to ask them some questions. We still lay in pretty much in the same position. Alex got up and cleaned us both, and Ezra slipped into the bathroom before we all curled back up together.

They know a bit about my past, but I know close to nothing about theirs.

“How did you meet everyone?” I ask as Alex rubs the sore muscles in my back, making me groan.

Ezra hesitates. I can feel him tensing under me slightly. “Baby, I want to tell you. I do. But—”

Pain fills his voice, and I open my mouth to tell him it doesn’t matter, but Alex speaks first. “I have this, brother.”

Ezra nods and wraps his arms around me as much as he can, as if for comfort, and my heart pounds. I know this isn’t going to be good, but it warms my heart that Alex is protecting him.

Alex’s hands move down to my ass and legs, massaging as he goes. “We met Ezra when he was eight-years-old. Our families, they were all part of the higher-ups, the ruling families. Well, most of them. There aren’t a lot of children in the covens, so we tended to get pushed together, but Ezra always kept to himself. He was quiet and often looked scared. Something in me, even as a kid, recognized him. I’m guessing that would be our bond, but back then, it seemed only natural to try and befriend him. I spent every day walking across the forest three miles to and from his house. We would sit outside in the back garden. He wouldn’t talk, would barely look at me, but every day I went. I spoke about everything and anything, showing him my favorite toys, something new I’d learned. Books from Jason, games from Ben. Jokes from Darius.”

Ezra shakes beneath me, and I wrap myself around him tighter as he buries his head in the top of my hair. In my head, all I see is a tiny kid version of Alex, looking so determined as he sits next to a smaller Ezra.

“One day, he started talking back to me. We brought him out of his shell, and he started actively seeking us out, coming to play with us. At lessons, all of us became best friends, but it wasn’t until Ezra turned eleven that we became inseparable brothers through a secret we’ve buried so deep between us, one that not even the council knows the full truth.”

Alex’s hands run lower as he spins the story and my heart aches for Ezra. What happened?

“It was Ezra’s birthday. His dad reluctantly threw him a party, and we were all there. Just being stupid kids. Ben and Darius were joking around. We were all playing hide and seek. Ezra warned us not to go into his dad’s office because he would get mad, but we did anyway. Luckily, Ezra found us all hiding in there, but we could all hear his dad coming. It’s the only time apart from when we thought we’d lost you, that I’ve ever seen him panic. He hid us again and told us not to come out, no matter what.”

“I had to protect you,” Ezra whispers, his voice catching, and I drop a kiss on his chest again, letting him know I’m there.

“You did. His father came in and found Ezra. He was so mad, I could feel his magic pressing on us all as he screamed and shouted. He said… well, some horrible things, and then he hit Ezra. He went down, but from the look in his eyes, I knew this wasn’t the first time. We had our suspicions, that something was going on, but never did I guess that—” Alex blows out a breath, his hands stilling on me.

Ezra reaches over me and touches Alex. “You couldn’t have known, bother.”

“Anyway, his dad started using his magic on Ezra, throwing him around. Hurting him. But not once did he scream. I couldn’t let it happen, so I burst from my hiding spot and told him to stop.”

Of course he did, because that’s who Alex is.

“He didn’t, of course; he turned his attention to me, but the others wouldn’t have that. They all came out and we stood in front of Ezra. I can still remember his dad’s sneer now. He would have killed us all and not batted an eye. This was a man we were brought up to respect, but he should have kn
own better than to mess with us.”

“Why?” I interrupt for the first time.

“Our families, our legacy, our gifts. They made us all special. We were… chosen, if you will. The council’s prodigies.” I nod, and Alex continues. “So, we did something we’d never done before. We drew on our magic. We weren’t supposed to. Our magic was too wild and young to control, but it was the only way.”

He stops and I feel them both reliving it. It pains me so much, but I know they won’t stop now.

  “What happened?” I whisper.

“We killed him,” Alex says plainly, as he begins massaging me again. “Then, I went before the council. I told them they should have known what was happening. I blamed them and I warned them that none of us would stand punishment for killing the witch, or their precious little prodigies would disappear. We were so young, but I meant every word. They had let us down and I would take my brothers and leave if it meant protecting them. It was the first time I saw the greed and taint within our own kind.”

“Not me. I had grown up seeing it my whole life,” Ezra rumbles, some of the life returning to him.

“Yes, you did, brother, and I regret every day not getting to you sooner,” Alex replies, his voice pained.

“You were both children. Don’t blame yourselves,” I demand, and Alex drops a kiss on my shoulder.

“It’s my burden to bear, kitten. Anyway, they agreed to our terms and buried Ezra’s father’s death.”

“What happened to you all after?” I ask, and for the first time since they bared their souls, they hesitate.

“That’s a different story altogether, kitten, and one no less painful,” Alex says softly.

I nod. They told me more than I expected, so I drop it, for now.

Rolling off Ezra, I turn on my side and face them both. “Thank you for telling me. I know that wasn’t easy. I can’t believe how strong you both—all—are.”

They smile at me, and I snuggle back into the covers.

  Ezra

She closes her eyes with a soft, sleepy smile on her face, and I can’t stop from lifting my hand and tracing her face. Who knew such a small witch could change everything? I sense Alex looking at me, but for some reason, it feels important I commit this moment to my mind.

“Come,” Alex whispers, slipping from the bed before leaning over and dropping a soft kiss on Aurora’s forehead, his face softening as he watches her.

Telling her about my past was therapeutic, even if I didn’t get to tell her the full truth about who we are now. One day, we will. We’ll tell her everything and hope she doesn’t hate us for it.

Dropping a lingering kiss on her lips, I slide from the bed and grab my clothes.

Meeting Alex at the door, I give her one last look. She moved over to the spot where I laid and cuddles up there.

“We need a meeting.” Alex clasps my shoulder, and I nod before slipping from the room.

Nev trots in and jumps on the bed, cuddling up behind her as I softly shut the door.

Sipping my cup of tea, I lean back in my chair, closing my eyes at the silence in the house finally. I thought they would never finish up there. Jealously surges through me, but I know Aurora and I will happen. There’s no rushing what’s between us, but it doesn’t make my blue balls easier.

Jason’s sigh from the cooker, obviously thinking the same thing. Mikael and Darius come in from the living room and take seats at the table. I eye my brother. Whatever Aurora said to him seemed to work.

He looks happier than before, and I can see my brother again.

The door swings open and a satisfied Ezra walks in with Alex on his heels.

  Bastards.

Kicking my leg up, I smirk at them. “Have a good night?”

“Better than yours.” Ezra grins, sliding into an open chair.

  “Lucky prick,” Mikael mutters.

Well, well, well. Seems she’s getting to all of us. Doesn’t help when she keeps walking around in those fucking skimpy pajamas.

“Enough. We need to talk.” Alex’s voice cuts through the kitchen, and we sit up straight, the mood shifting.

Jason turns off the cooker and sets food and drinks in front of us all before him and Alex sit.

“What’s wrong?” Darius asks, all of us silently urging Alex to tell us.

Alex sits back and eyes us all. “I didn’t want to tell you, but we were sent a job.”

“What?” I burst, out, banging my mug on the table.

  “When?” Ezra rumbles.

Alex takes a sip of his tea and sighs. “When Aurora was saving Darius.”

“That fucking long ago?” Ezra shouts, and we all freeze as we glance at the ceiling.

When Aurora doesn’t come running downstairs, we all sit back and talk quieter.

“I didn’t answer them. I couldn’t. But that means they’ll be searching for us soon. Wondering why their hunters have gone silent,” Alex finished, dropping the bombshell.

“We can’t lead them here,” Mikael says, his voice hard, and it’s obvious he’s pissed at Alex, too.

“Indeed. We also can’t let them see Darius or they’ll ask questions, questions we can’t answer. That’s why the meeting. We need to vote on what to do. We can’t avoid the council forever, but we need to protect Aurora.”

“What if we contact them and say we’re still searching for Mikael? That buys us some time to come up with a plan. We then move to a safe house before we slowly start letting little truths drop to them. Go on jobs, leaving Darius with her, until the council is ready to understand. When we have them on our side, only then do we introduce them to Aurora and Darius again,” Jason states and everyone nods.

“That’s a good idea, apart from one thing,” I grumble. “We need to tell Aurora who we are, and your plan hinges on the fact she’ll stay after she finds out. Also, we know the council. We know what they’re like. Do you really think they’ll be happy about us lying to them for so long and sheltering a rogue witch? It’s our fucking job to hunt them and bring them in for sentencing.”

Ezra growls. “So, what the fuck are you saying we do?”

Alex leans forward, getting between the argument brewing. “I like Jason’s plan. We buy ourselves some time, say we’re searching for Mikael. We move to a safe house and hope Aurora understands why we kept this from her. We earn her trust back if we have to. We have enough on the council and connections on our side to get them to understand. It will take time, time we use wisely to make sure we can protect her. As for Darius, we do not out her on that. It will only make them more intrigued. We tell them it was one of us, one of our powers growing. They’ll like that. Is everyone in agreement?”

We all nod. It’s not perfect, but it’s the only choice we have. We knew this day was coming, but we’ve been moving from one thing to the next since we met Aurora. I pray to the gods she forgives us and doesn’t hate us.

“When do we tell her?” Jason asks.

He sounds as worried as I feel.

“Soon. Let her enjoy today. Tomorrow we’ll tell her everything,” Alex orders, making sure we all understand.

That means I have today to make sure she loves us enough to stay.

“She’s awake,” Darius announces, his head tilting as his eyes get a faraway look, a smile dancing on his lips.

Fucking bond, I wish I had one.

  Aurora

Stretching, I roll over with a groan as my muscles remind me of everything that happened last night and this morning. A yip brings my eyes open, and I grin at Nev.

“Hey, my boy, you been looking after me?” I coo, and he nods, shifting closer and nudging me with his nose.

Scratching his head, I let myself enjoy the cuddling and relaxing. That ball in the bottom of my stomach is still there, warning me of something, but for now, I ignore it.

“Where did you go all night, hmm?” I ask, and Nev’s tongue lolls out a
t me.

A pop sounds, and I groan. Turning over, I clutch the sheet to my naked chest and eye Bob as he wanders around my room, picking up things and putting them back down again.

  “Whatcha’ doing?” I ask

  He jumps, puffing up.

“Woah there, puffa!” I shout, and he relaxes back to his normal size, his thin lips twisting into a scowl.

“Silly witch, thought you were sleeping! Don’t scare me!”

I roll my eyes as he rants. “Bob, what’s up?”

He huffs before jumping onto the bed and sitting cross-legged to face me. Grumbling, I scoot back to the headboard and relax as Nev places his muzzle on my lap.

“Perses sent me to help, silly witch.” He nods, still looking miffed.

I stroke Nev’s head. “Uh, uh. Help with what?”

“Destinies, of course. I am to tells you there’s a book by mistress Hekate left for you.”

Sitting up straighter, I concentrate on Bob. “Hekate left a book for me?”

“For her descendants, the blessed ones. Three books to be exact; her lost journals split up and left for you. You must find them. They will help you.”

Slumping back, I run my hands through Nev’s fur as I think. “How do I find them?”

“Easy peasy witches sleazy,” he spouts, and I chuckle. “Silly witch must look into her past. You have dream walker for reason, witch. Find one who can help you locate the book.” With that, he pops out of existence.

  Brilliant.

Okay, find a dream walker who can help. Didn’t the guys already find one?

I’ll have to ask them to get his information from Henry. My door bursts open, and Ben and Jason come in. I grin.

  I’ll ask them later.

I eat breakfast in bed with Jason and Ben. They keep me entertained with stories from their childhood until I kick them out so I can dress.
