Winston Chase- The Complete Trilogy Page 96

by Bodhi St John

Ack — the first kid is up. Gotta make this quick.

I’m going to miss working with Winston and Bledsoe every day (although there are still months of audiobook production still to come). I particularly enjoy Bledsoe, and it probably won’t surprise you to learn that I’ve loved weaving pieces of my own personality into such a terrible villain. Which pieces? Nah, let’s just keep you guessing. Suffice it to say that there’s a bit of me in all the characters, but Bledsoe and Shade quickly became my favorites.

Maybe you and other readers will demand a sequel Winston Chase trilogy. If I’d left the door open any wider, you could drive a herd of buffalo through it. If you would enjoy that, please don’t hesitate to join my Occasional Cheep mailing list and drop me a line at [email protected] to say so. Fans who make the most noise (without being creepy) get the best results.

Meanwhile, I’m going to shift gears in 2019 and work on a long-simmering urban fantasy project under a different name. If you’d like news about that, you know where to find me.

Finally, one last, very sincere thank you. I can’t tell you how grateful I am that you’ve stayed with me on this wild Winston Chase ride. I wrote these books for you, and others like you, because it’s a heavy world. Sometimes you need simple, fun, good-versus-evil adventure without all the trappings of symbolism and English class exegesis. That’s what I’ve tried to deliver here. If you feel I succeeded, please tell a friend. The more the merrier, right?
