A lawful sect of humans fighting for order and control, crusaders diametrically oppose the pagans. They raze forests and build roads, continually breaking ground in their thirst for greatness. Most serve the White King, but many merely desire a civilized society.

An offshoot of the crusaders aimed at holy purity, catechists proved too zealous to establish a stable home. Without their bishop, Cleric Vagram leads their rogue numbers in exile.
Black Hats
Members: 48
Leader: Talon
Base: Dragonperch
Seated in Stronghold, black hats are the youngest and smallest of all factions, but the first run by a player. Their appeal lies in their apparent outlaw behavior while sticking to the mantra: don't be a dick, dude.
