"Jesus, Eves," Kit said, holding onto the handle above his head.
"You distracted me!"
"You could just answer me," he said as I sat back in my seat, smacking my hands against the wheel.
"Again," Kit said and I glared over at him.
"Don't hate the teacher," he said looking at me.
"I don't hate the teacher. The teacher is pissing me off though. You're not training one of your men at Delta! Back off."
"Again," he said again and I pressed my teeth together before pressing the on button.
I repeated everything Kit had already taught me and then I tried to put the car into park by gently pressing the break.
"Good," he said and I smiled, feeling proud of myself.
"Okay, let's step it up. Start again in first gear and when you're driving I want you to pick up the speed slightly by pressing the accelerator then take it into second gear. You'll do that by pressing the clutch down and moving your gear stick into second."
I nodded and got to it. Again, I stalled and I growled in frustration.
"What the actual fuck," I cursed.
"You're taking your foot off too quickly," Kit said as I tried again and stalled.
"Maybe I wouldn't keep stalling if you weren't breathing down my neck!"
Kit shook his head. "Try again."
"No." That was it. I wasn't good at this.
"You can't just give up Eves. Try again."
"Fine!" I said staring at him.
The more wound up I got the worse I got. I got so frustrated but carried on anyway. I finally got to second gear and it felt frickin' amazing but out of the corner of my eye, a deer ran out of the trees and directly in front of the car. I squealed and reacted too quickly, pressing my foot onto the brake. It wouldn't have been a problem but I swerved on the wet ground. The car skidded across the ground, then Kit reached over to control the wheel. He was so collected and reached his other arm for the handbrake. With the control he had on the wheel, and his perfect timing, he brought the car to a harsh stop before we skidded into the grass verge. I breathed heavily and placed my hand on my stomach.
"God, are you okay?"
When I didn't answer he reached for my leg. I nodded and Kit checked my face before opening his car door and getting out. I took a deep breath once he was gone. He was checking the car over and as I saw him passing in the headlights my adrenaline lessened dramatically, allowing a sob to break free from within me. Once the adrenaline and fear had settled, my hormones had replaced it, making me cry. Once Kit got back in the car I tried to conceal it, quickly wiping my face clean. I looked to the side and out of the window so he couldn't see me, but it was useless.
"Aw, Eves, baby, I'm so sorry."
"I'm fine," I said waving him away with my arm.
"You're not," he said unbuckling my seatbelt and making me face him.
"Come here," he said and I looked over at him before eventually climbing out of my seat and over the centre console and onto his lap.
He looked at my face and then held my head against his chest.
"I'm sorry, I got carried away," he said against my forehead and I could feel him shaking his head at himself.
He made me look at him again so he could kiss me, and he did it so gently. The sensation I felt from kissing his soft and full lips ignited something inside of me and I wasn't sure if it was just my body reacting to the adrenaline but I needed to get off of him. When I tried to move, he held me there and frowned at me.
"What?" he asked and I shook my head.
"Nothing," I lied.
"Tell me," he said before kissing my shoulder.
I knew he'd meant it lovingly, to calm me down after the accident. Instead, it ignited my insides and my body trembled under the touch. He slowly lifted his lips away from my delicate skin and looked at me as if he now understood. His eyes were staring into mine until he brought his lips back to my shoulder. There, he kissed up to my neck and I laid my head back as his hands moved to my breasts where he gently started to caress.
"We're in a car, Eves," he reminded me very seductively.
He wasn't telling me that we needed to stop. Instead, he moved his hand away from my breasts and slid it down the front of my skinnies until he found the spot aching for his touch.
"Eves, you're soaked."
I hummed against the touch and rocked there against his finger brushing at my clit.
"You need to stop," I said more hungrily.
"Why? Do you need something more than my finger?" he spoke against my ear and I hummed, nodding my head and biting at my lip.
"You have no idea how fucking sexy you are, Eves."
Before I could respond, Kit removed his hand from within my jeans and he flipped me around so that I was sat on top of him. He pulled at the band on my jeans and began helping me to shimmy them down my legs until they fell from my ankles. I climbed back over him and waited for Kit to make fast work of undoing his jeans and he pulled them, along with his boxers down his thighs. Once they were out of the way, Kit's erection stood at attention. Inviting me to play. I hovered over him and loved how he perfectly positioned his dick. Lowering down onto him I moaned as Kit let out a breath and closed his eyes, letting his head fall back.
"Fuck me, Eves."
I planned on doing just that. I laid my head back, enjoying the amazing feeling of being stretched and filled by his impressive length. It brushed against my needy spot and he wrapped his hands within my hair and tugged on it. It brought another moan from within me and he used the same hand to direct my face to his lips so he could kiss me. Once our lips had parted, I gripped onto his shoulders and rode him harder. The car bounced and I was thankful for the suspension, aiding my rhythm. All I could focus on was Kit's face beneath me, because watching his undoing was enough to get me off. It always was. He gripped onto my waist and at the bare skin underneath my hoodie as he brought his hands down to my arse cheeks.
"God, Eves," he said into my hair and it made my insides clench.
"Fuck," he hissed and he growled into my neck.
Hearing his words, both sexy as hell and masculine beyond belief, made my insides clench over and over until I felt myself near. I kept bouncing, creating long strokes against my insides until I finally moaned and called out his name. I continued even after my release had ended and seconds after Kit's fingers dug back into my skin as he too found his release.
Together we breathed heavily, inhaling the hot air and as I rested my head against Kit's shoulder I saw how steamed the windows had become. I looked back at Kit, our noses and foreheads gently pressed against each other until he kissed me. We stayed in that position for a little while, just held in his arms. We were in the middle of nowhere, in complete darkness and I felt so at peace with him. Eventually, I had to move off of him, and once we were both fully dressed we passed each other at the back of the car before getting in at either side. At the halfway point, he brought me close and kissed me, leaving me feeling exasperated as I got into the passenger side.
"Not sure how Jason is gonna feel about us having sex in his car," Kit commented as he got in at the driver's side.
Oh god, I'd completely forgotten that we were in Jason's car.
As my body heated under the embarrassment I saw the look of mischief on Kit's face as he grinned at me.

It was nice to just be able to walk freely with Kit. Now that he'd ditched the plot with Maddie, we were still keeping our exposure to a minimal but Kit knew how much I loved the Beck. It was right outside of his house and I'd been robbed of fully being able to explore it. The next day, Kit took me to the water's edge and wrapped his arms around me as I watched the little ducklings swimming in the water alongside their mother. I lifted my nose and enjoyed the sun splashing against my skin. I didn't realise how caged I'd felt until I stood here absorbing the sun. Not only had I felt caged off from the outside world, but from Kit. Being here with him was perfect and I smiled as he kissed my shoulder. He brou
ght his hands further down to my stomach and I closed my eyes as his warmth radiated over my skin.
"I love it here," I said.
"We should really start moving your things here," he answered and I turned around to look at him.
"You still want me to live with you?"
Frowning, Kit looked at me as if I were crazy.
"Of course I do," he smiled. "Unless you've changed your mind."
I turned around fully to face him and smiled up at him.
"I wanna live with you," I said and it made his doubtful expression lift. "But," I said and he looked away in disappointment. "I think we should wait until my grandparents are home. It'll be a bit of a shock to come home to find all my things have gone and I haven't even discussed it with them."
I could tell he was thinking about it and eventually, he nodded, "That's a fair point. You're probably right."
When another set of ducks swam past us, I looked back into the water where small fish could be seen swimming close to the surface. My eyes wandered to the houses at the opposite side of the Beck and to the one still with a for sale sign allocated outside of the house.
"I can't understand how that house is still for sale. It's perfect."
Kit followed my eyes to the house. "A lot of work needs doing to it, I think."
I nodded and remembered the first time I'd seen it. Me and Kit had only just started seeing each other. I couldn't believe that someone still hadn't bought it. As I turned to look at Kit, the wind caught my hair and lifted it into Kit's face, covering his full face. I apologized and did my best to uncover his face. I could see his mouth smiling through my hair and I laughed and held onto his face to kiss him once my hair had cleared.
"Your hair smells amazing, by the way," he said once he was free from it.
It made me blush and I knew he loved his ability to make me blush. It made him smirk as he eyed me and I did my best to avoid his obvious staring.
"This is so peaceful," I said, admiring the Beck.
"That's what you deserve, Eves. Peace."
"Hey, baby, get up."
I hummed and winged at the voice trying to wake me up. I knew it to be Kit's and I edged my eyes open slightly to look at him. He looked fresh from his shower and I knew he was going to tell me that he was going to work.
He surprised me by saying, "Come with me today. We'll do some more driving lessons."
I sat up partially and he moved my hair out of my face. The night before we'd stayed up late watching a movie.
"You want me to come with you?"
He nodded and moved back so I could sit up. The duvet cover fell from my naked breasts so I pulled it back up again so Kit would focus on my face.
"Won't you have training and other work to do?"
"The guys are working on the assault course today, I'll have to work out at some point as long as you don't mind. Tricia is asking about you after the trouble Maddie caused, I think she'd like to see you."
I sat and thought about it, wondering if I'd ever want to be at Delta again during the day.
"Will Maddie be there?" I asked and he shook his head.
Eventually, I agreed and got up to go take a shower.
Once I glanced around at Kit, I saw him staring at my naked body, eating me up with his eyes. Alone in the shower, I thought about if I should ask about Maddie today. I decided I probably wouldn't. I still had hatred built up towards her and I wasn't sure I'd ever be rid of it. I got dressed in my bra and knickers when Kit showed up with his phone in hand.
"Stand there," he said and I frowned at him.
"I want a picture of that bump," he smiled, making me stand to a side so he could picture me.
Once I looked at his picture, I could see my bump had grown again since the last time I looked. He left me there looking at his phone and kissed my temple. Once I felt like I'd had a good enough look I placed Kit's phone on the bed and got dressed before heading downstairs after him.
"Where are all your brothers?"
"Nick will probably already be at Delta, he practically lives there recently since we saw… Logan."
"Logan? Is that your father's name?" I asked, and he nodded.
"Jax will probably be there too, Jason will be at the garage and so will Eric."
I nodded and walked around the kitchen. I found it hard helping myself, although Kit and his brothers had all equally said that this was my home now and that I should treat it like my own. Nevertheless, it was taking time to get used to just helping myself to food and drink. None of the brothers would stand for me contributing and it made me feel even less independent. I loved them for it though, despite how it made me feel, I understood why.

I always felt nerves settling in the pit of my stomach whenever I thought about coming to Delta. It became a reality as we were driving there. The last time we were here we'd had that stupid accident. That didn't help, despite making insane love afterwards that made the whole ordeal seem less horrible. The time before, Maddie had outed Kit and had tested our relationship before me being kidnapped and used as bait. This was technically mine, and as I stared around the grounds and at the enormity of what Delta actually was, it still didn't feel like mine at all.
"You okay?" Kit asked as we parked up in front of the safe house and the glass building beside it. I nodded and gave him my best smile. Last time we were at this house, Maddie had broken my heart with the knowledge she had given me. Kit led me to the glass building and I slowed as the statue of my dad neared. Just like the first time, I stood in awe at it. Staring at how similar it was to him. I had to walk away from it before I started crying again. I wondered if I'd ever be able to face up to it without getting emotional. I waited at the desk as Kit spoke to a girl behind it and she beamed up at him before noticing me there. She nodded at whatever Kit had requested and when he came back to my side she picked up the phone to dial out.
"Who's that?" I asked trying not to look back at her.
"That's Melissa, Tricia's assistant. She man's the front desk."
I nodded, not remembering her from the last time I'd visited.
"Eves!" We finally heard Tricia approaching and she held her arms out to give me a huge hug.
"I've been so worried about you, did Kit tell you?" She came close and held me at arm's length.
"He did. Thank you, you don't have to worry about me."
"Your dad was a great friend to me, as was your mother. I may not have been involved in your life but…" to my shock, Tricia was getting emotional and I couldn't believe it. I reached for her and hugged her, seeing Kit over her shoulder as I did. He smiled at me, and when I let go of Tricia she wiped a tear from her face.
"We didn't really get a chance to talk, the last time you were here. It was strictly business and I knew the huge pressure that must have been on your shoulders. I didn't want to overwhelm you."
I nodded, knowing what she'd meant.
"You should know, since what's happened we've doubled in strength to ensure it never happens again."
I nodded, "Thank you, Tricia."
She placed her hand at the top of my arm to comfort me and as I stood smiling at her, we each noticed a group of guys passing and I recognised the guy at the front. He was called Jesse. I'd met him for the first time during my first visit to Delta.
"Kit, we're heading to train. You coming?"
Kit looked at me and Jesse raised his eyebrows.
"Miss Johnson," he said politely.
"Just Eve," I answered.
"Eve," he smiled, "do you mind if I steal your fella? We have a bit of an ongoing bet you see."
He smirked as I looked at Kit. "Really?"
"Yeah, well he likes to show off. I like to put him in his place, that sort of thing…" Jesse said and grinned at Kit as he crossed his arms, smirking at him.
"It's been five days, Mate, you're still yet to beat me," Kit said and the guys standing with Jesse chuckled. I tried not to stare at them and they all looked as if they were tr
ying not to stare at me too. These guys were the real deal. These were the guys that wore the gear. The very same gear that Kit kept locked away his cupboard, along with his mask. These were the guys that would have been sent to rescue me alongside Kit.
"True, but let's see how you cope under pressure now that your Mrs is here to watch."
Kit let his hands loose. "Fair enough."
Kit walked over to me and spoke close. "You wanna come with me? I have to get changed..."
I glanced around at everyone looking.
"She can stay with me," Tricia said, "we'll be right here."
Kit looked at Tricia then as if he was sharing a specific look with her.
"She'll be safe, Kit," she smiled and he nodded before pecking my cheek and leaving.
Once Kit was gone, I was left with Tricia as the lads left to go outside.
"They've had this competitive thing going on for weeks now since we got the assault course fitted."
I smiled. "I saw it the other night but not very well. What's it like?"
"You ever watched Ninja Warrior UK?"
"No?!" I scoffed and she nodded.
"Yeah, it's kinda like that but without the water beneath it."
"So what happens when they fall?"
"Trust me, I've told them over and over to install those cushion things, incase they fall."
I raised my eyebrows, "Have any of them fallen yet?"
"They've fallen but thankfully always landed on their feet, perhaps you can put them in their places, Miss Johnson."
I grinned at what Tricia had said.
"Kit is the boss," I said, shrugging my shoulders.
"And you're his boss," she grinned knowingly as we both saw Kit walking towards us.
"Glad you both found something to talk about. Anything I should be worried about?" he asked us both.
Shaking my head, I moved to his side so he could lead the way.
"I was just telling Eve about your death-trap."
"You worry too much, Tricia."
"Someone has to. Now, be careful," she warned and Kit smirked.
