Turn Left for Stars: A SciFi Alien RomCom (Vandalar Concubines Book 3) Page 14

Something weird’s going on here. “What are you doing here?”

“What I’m doing here?” He scoffs, shakes his head, and takes the slowest sip of whatever he’s drinking, almost as if he’s enjoying how I’m clearly losing my mind all over again. “How about you tell me what you are doing here?”

  “I came to see Izzy.”

He turns and slowly closes the door. “Yeah, not good enough. Take care.”

“Wait!” I push my foot into the gap but don’t dare make another step. “She left me messages. Said she needed to talk.”

An oddly familiar voice sounds from somewhere inside. “We all left you messages, you jerk.”

My brain spins in one direction while everything around me spins the other way. Was that Lucan? Why is he here? Isn’t he supposed to be on his way to somewhere halfway across... Gods, it is Lucan.

“What are we going to do with him?” he asks as he leans against the opposite side of the frame, and there’s no way I can barge through them. “We should dunk him upside down in the pond for what he did to our female.”

  I stare at them open-mouthed. “Your… w-what?”

“You wanna tell him?” Lucan asks.

“Oh, do I.” Silas steps outside, and a chest only marginally smaller than mine rubs against me. “It took us five days to make her crying stop. Don’t you think for a moment we’ll let you set a foot in here if you’re only going to break her heart again. You’re either cool with this, or I’ll buckle you into that drone myself.”

Lucan tsks, and his mouth pulls into a wide grin. “You skipped something.”

“Right.” Silas narrows his eyes at me. “Izzy chose Lucan and me as her saikhs. And, as you can see, we’re taking it serious.”

“No doubt,” I say as if on auto-pilot, and everything spins faster.

Did he just say they’re her saikhs? But they’re both—

  Whoa, wait a hot minute.

Oh, I get what’s going on here.

  This… is… genius.

“I just heard the door upstairs,” Lucan says. “You better hurry, I think she’s done with her shower.”

Silas nods, and his stance eases just as his gaze softens somewhat. “This is the deal, Adrin. If you want this female, you’ll have to share her with us. I love the way she snuggles against me when we watch a movie, and that won’t go away.”

“Neither will how she braids my hair,” Lucan adds. “Her tiny fingers get them so tight, they last for days without coming apart.”

Silas smiles. “As for the intimacy department, she’s all yours. Can you live with that without cutting our throats while we sleep? Because if not, leave and we’ll pretend you never showed. I get this isn’t how you pictured it, but it’s the best she can offer you. And she loves you so much, Adrin.”

My muscles lose their rigidness, and a sense of relief spreads through my body. Can I live with this? Vek yeah.

“One condition,” I say. “Massages are my department as well.”

  Lucan nods.

“Deal,” Silas says and steps away, gesturing me to follow them inside where he glances up the stairs. “Sweetheart! Please come down for a second.”

I force a ripple of anger back into whatever primitive cave it came from. He can call her sweetheart all he wants, but she’s my alien beauty.

The moment Izzy comes down the stairs, dressed in her fluffy bathrobes, three sets of eyes drink her in. So beautiful. So mine. Kind of. Mostly.

When she spots me, her legs jerk to a halt, and time stands still as the most beautiful smile comes onto her face, and she says, “Hey stranger.”

Someone shoves me and I stumble up the stairs, reaching shaky hands for her waist before I stop myself. Do I hug her? Does she want me to? Maybe apologize first?

“Hey alien beauty.” My fingers gently brush through her damp hair, and my core hums with affection. Vek, it’s love. So much of it. “I’m so sorry for walking out on you the way I did. Can you for—”

Her arms swing around my neck, and she pulls my mouth onto hers, kissing me senseless. One hand immediately strokes the nape of my neck, and the other roams up along my horn. Her tiny frame presses against me, so I grab her hips until all of her connects with all of me.

“I love you, Izzy,” I groan into her mouth. “And while I can’t be your saikh, I’d like to be the male by your side. If you’ll still have me.”

“I told you I want only you.” Her lips narrow and harden with a grin. “And I know you already accepted; otherwise, Silas would never have let you come in. He’s very… protective.”

“I can tell he took good care of our mistress,” I whisper, and let my lips trail over her cheek and down along her neck. “How about I take you to your bedroom, and please those parts I know he neglected?”

I drape her over my arms, my core radiating an intense heat, and carry her to her bedroom. Our bedroom. “I missed you so much.”

I barely get a chance to undress because she tugs me onto her bed, slipping her robe off. Pulling my shirt over my head, I kick out of whatever is left of my pants, and already her small hands roam my chest, my stomach, my shoulders.

“I love touching your body,” she croons.

“Not as much as I love being touched by you.” I pull her panties down with one hand, and run the other along my hard length. “How should I please our mistress? Circles? Swipes? Dipping—”

“Screw circles.” Legs angled wide, she grabs my hips and pulls me between her legs.

I nod, smile spreading over my face, and wet my cock on her entrance. “Thirteen ridges?”

  “Uh-huh.”

One thrust seats me deep inside her cunt, and we share a gasp when I still at the very end of her, cock jerking, throbbing. Guided by her legs clasped around my back, I begin rocking, stroking in and out of her. Slow and deep when her knees clench my sides. Fast and hard when her heels kick against my buttocks.

It doesn’t take long until her fingers stiffen on my cheek as she comes, pussy clenching so hard around me in several waves she teases my seed straight into the tip of my cock. With a devious grin, she keeps rocking against me, writhing, knowing full well I can’t hold back. Not like this.

And she doesn’t want me to.

What male would I be to refuse what she demands?

I wrap her in my arms and spill my seed deep inside her while I kiss her neck, her jawline, working myself up toward her forehead. “I love you, Izzy.”

Her arms fold around my head, guiding my face to rest in the crook between shoulder and neck, mindful of angling my horns away from her. “I love you, too.”

Outside the bedroom, muffled chuckles alternate with deep, rumbling mumbles, followed by, “Seriously? Was that even five minutes?”

“Shut up, Lucan!” I shout, and Izzy’s giggle tickles over my temple. “I’m not a saikh, remember?”

“Ah, we’ll teach you how to please our mistress for two hours.”

“Yeah, it’s all in the breathing,” Silas joins in. “And being mindful of your thoughts.”

Izzy lifts her head. “I don’t want him to please me once for two hours. I want him to please me eight times within two hours. Now get away from the door!”

A communal “whatever pleases you” comes from beyond the door, and we both can’t help but laugh.

What did she say to me that first night I came here? There’s a sense of safety in numbers. Lucan and Silas caught her when I let her down. For that reason alone, I’ll do whatever it takes to make this work.

  She’s our mistress.

  But she’s my female.

  Nineteen

  Izzy

The three of us lie in a tangle of limbs on my massive bed. An arm drapes over my waist. A hand caresses my back. Someone’s finger draws shapes on the top of my foot.

“What do you think how much longer we have to stay like this?” I glance up into Adrin’s vibrant eyes while my head rests in his lap. “This position is starting to hurt my neck.”
r />   He smiles down at me, fingertips raking over my scalp. “My guess is as good as any, mej liku. But I’m getting hot with all these bodies, not to mention the spotlights.”

“If they take much longer, I might nod off.” Silas’ breath flutters over my exposed waist. “This pod is way more comfortable than the one we have.”

Lucan glances over his shoulder, and his horn brushes against my thigh a bit. “Nothing beats the view. You’re a lucky bastard, Adrin, waking up to this every morning.”

The way Adrin’s eyes bore into me is second only to the gentle peck he places on my lips. “I’m blessed.”

“Please do not move,” the photographer says, annoyance lining his voice. “Adrin, please raise your head so you’ll stop blocking my view of her face. Higher. More. Good.”

From the edge of the bed, Steph grins at me, hand stroking over her belly in circular motions. “Look at you, surrounded by your three males. This is hot!”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Varac grunts. “You can barely handle me, woman, let alone two additional males.”

“I know. That’s why I only have you, mej kali.”

The spotlights flash another three, maybe four times, until the photographer finally sighs his relief. “Alright, this was the last one. Along with the ones I took during the day as I observed them, we’ll have plenty of material to choose from for the campaign.”

Steph gives me a wink. “Thank you, sugar bean.”

I immediately sit up and reach behind my back, but Lucan clasps my wrist. “Uh-uh. Don’t touch.”

  “It’s itchy.”

“Because it’s healing.” He crawls over to the nightstand, returns with the little care basket he made for me, and grabs a fresh gauze from it along with a sterile wipe. “Let me look at this once more before I put the ointment on it, which will help with the itch.”

Lucan slowly peels off the old gauze, and carefully wipes the wound, the material cool against my neck. “Beautiful. This is one gorgeous bite.”

Adrin shifts beside me, pressing a kiss right underneath it between my shoulder blades. “That was perfectly placed, wasn’t it?”

  “Uh-huh.”

Silas flips onto his stomach and smiles at me. “Once there’s a youngling on the way, I’ll return to the saikhmenti and take some extra courses in governance.”

“Yeah, not anytime soon, though.” No matter how the idea tingles. “I just started that new birth control. Let’s hope it works the way they promise.”

“Drone approaching,” Vem announces into the room.

“As if our home isn’t stuffed full already,” Silas grumbles. “Identification?”

There’s a moment of delay until Vem says, “Odrin.”

Adrin huffs behind me. “Gods, I was hoping I would see less of him, not more. Permission granted.”

It doesn’t take long until Odrin’s voice echoes from the foyer, and Lucan calls out to him. “Upstairs. Bedroom of our mistress.”

When Odrin marches into the bedroom, his pace slows as he glances over the spotlights, reflectors, and other equipment. “The vek’s going on here?”

“Marketing campaign,” Adrin says and places the new gauze onto the back of my neck. “Why are you here?”

“Actually, I was hoping Izzy could help me go over some paperwork I need to fill out for my visa for Earth.”

I lift a brow at him. “Earth?”

“What can I say, woman? All that love you showed the cleaning cart at the saikhmenti, and how you let that sucker claim you… Tail or no tail, you convinced me to try my luck there.”

Steph parks her hands on her hips. “Visa? Why wouldn’t you go through my agency?”

Odrin winks at her. “There’s a company looking for dream programmers, and they’re willing to sponsor me. Besides, I’d like to choose my own female.”

“That’s overrated,” Steph says with a swat of her hands. “Just make sure you don’t run behind those females snapping your fangs. You guys are giving me a bad rep.”

When Odrin narrows his eyes at me, I explain, “Steph is having an issue with Vandalar males biting females. By law, that makes them their wives.”

  “Huh, that’s good to know.”

“Let me wrap this up, and we can look over the paperwork.”

I give Adrin a kiss, climb off the bed, and walk over to Steph.

“These turned out great.” She swipes over the tab board resting in her hand, but her eyes soon flick to me just as she leans in closer. “Hey, can I ask you something?”

  “Sure.”

A hint of red creeps onto her cheeks. “Did you know that your two males, Lucan and Silas, are getting busy with each other? I accidentally walked in on them earlier.”

And here I thought nothing can make this woman blush. “Yup, I’m aware.”

“You filthy thing,” she mumbles, and her lips pull into a sly grin. “Totally getting yourself some of that male-male action, huh? Who would have thought?” She tsks. “It’s always the quiet ones. But I love how happy you look with the males you chose.”

  “I didn’t choose males,” I say. “I chose a family.”

This concludes Turn Left for Stars. If you enjoyed this story, do this girl a favor and leave a review.

Did you expect a reverse harem? If yes, rest assured you made it onto Santa’s naughty list. But that’s okay, because I’m on that list too for currently working on a reverse harem spin-off ;) If you join my reading group and beg, I might go rogue and add a menage to the Vandalar Concubines series.

With that being said, I usually include a sneak peek for the next book here. Well, not this time. One of our dogs, Ada, had a litter of 8 adorable puppies, so I decided to give myself an extra month before the release of Swipe Right for Husband (Odrin’s story).

Instead, I give you puppy cuteness overload! P.S.: there are more puppy pictures in my reading group.
