Co-author of authorized screenplay, with Edward Lee, of Rex Miller’s cult classic hard-boiled crime novel, SLOB. Nominee for: Stoker Award for Short Story, 1988, 1995, 1996, 1999; World Fantasy Award, 1991, 1994 (book illustrator for Best Anthology finalist); Nebula Award, 1995; Pushcart Prize, 1994; SFPA’s Rhysling Award, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1994, 1995; SPWAO Poet of the Year, 1987, 1988, 1989; Readercon Award, 1993.

  Randy Chandler is a former book reviewer for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, & editor of Bone Chilling Tales & Lil’ Demon Review. Chandler is a Vietnam vet. Inspiration for his deranged & dangerous fictions comes from his having lived & worked in a funeral home, & from his many years spent working in a mental institution, these disturbing experiences recontextualized through reality-filters hardwired into the mind-altering works of William S. Burroughs, Thomas Pynchon & Jack Kerouac… Chandler’s writings have appeared in Darkside: Horror for the Next Millennium, Back Brain Recluse, Bizarre Bazaar, the Noctulpa 4 anthology, Grue, E.O.T.U, Alpha Gallery, & Festering Brainsore, to name but a few.
