Delos Descending Page 4

"W-what will you do?” she sobbingly asked.

"First, we're going to make love again without that damned blindfold. As exciting as it was, I want to see you."

"No!” she balked and quickly tried to pull away from him.

As Meg stood and tried to run for the woods, he pulled her back against him. “Yes. No more secrets, no more fear. I won't harm you, Meg. Nor will I allow anyone else to do so."

The words were softly, firmly spoken. But Del would risk his life to hide her secret. That was only just occurring to her. “I-I can't let you do this. You'd be risking your father's punishment for hiding me. Not to mention what Hera would do."

  "You're my wife now..."

"But I can still look Zeus squarely in the face and truthfully tell him that you never saw what I was, and never knew until it was too late. If you see me, and even if you had the stomach to accept me afterward, I could no longer lie and keep your father from knowing the truth. He'd sense it."

"Dammit, Meg. I don't care. I want you,” he said as he turned her to face him and hugged her to his nude body. “That won't ever change. You gave me something I'd never experienced or hoped to find."

"I've lied to you. So have my father and Kato."

"You did it to survive. Am I to be your judge over something you can't control? Is my father or Hera?"

"I'm a Harpy!” she cried out.

"You've only part of that blood in you. You said yourself that you've never committed any crimes the way Harpies did. How could anyone judge you for committing such monstrous acts if you've no inclination to them?"

  He kept reasoning.

She kept arguing. Finally, it was almost dawn and she was worn from the verbal battle.

Del picked her up and carried her to their bed. He gently placed her down on the sweet-smelling blankets, still fragrant from the herbs crushed during their love making. “I'll figure a way out for us. Don't be afraid, Meg. I love you,” he crooned over and over.

Tired and heart-sick, she let weariness overtake her and let Del's words sooth her fear. For the short time they had left, she'd do whatever it took to bring them both pleasure. Even if he ran at the first sight of her after orgasm. Her only hope lay with Del and whatever plan he might concoct. She, her father and Kato, had years to think on the problem with no solution. That Del thought he could end the problem in one night was so like him. But she was willing to let him try.

Whatever else happened, if Zeus found out about her true blood, she'd be the only one to suffer. She'd try to make up a story that wouldn't include her father, Kato or Delos. Whatever it took she'd keep them safe. That was the last thought she had before falling asleep in Del's embrace.

  Chapter Four

Meg dreamt she was in the warm sun, being made love to. Del was between her thighs, alternately licking her clit and sucking the folds of her vulva. She squealed in delight when he thrust several fingers into her and rotated them left and right, then up and down. She brought her knees up, then slid her hands to her nipples and gently twisted them.

"That's it Meg, just let it happen,” Del whispered. He toyed with her as much as he could, hoping she wouldn't awaken. Then, when he was sure she'd orgasm soon and was ready to enter her, he quickly moved over her slender frame, plunged inside her hot depth and slowly, slowly thrust. He wanted to see what frightened her so much that Hephenon and Kato would have kept such a secret from him for so many years.

Meg writhed and squirmed as her vagina clenched around him.

Del shuddered, pushed his hands into her hair and held her head still. He wanted to see her face and her eyes when she awakened. He was filled with her scent and softness surrounded his rigid cock. All he wanted was the extraordinary release he'd experienced once before. And it was quickly coming.

Meg finally realised the luscious dream was reality and awoke. She wanted to stop him, but Del kissed her into silence and guided her legs over his shoulders.

"Let go, Meg. Release,” he urged.

She could no longer help herself though she tried with all her might. Meg dropped her head back, even as his hands held fast to either side of her face. She screamed loud and long as the orgasm deepened, and waned, then began again as Del kicked his legs for further entrance.

Del felt his eyes roll back as her vagina squeezed his penis tight. The pressure wasn't enough to hurt, but certainly enough to make him squeal like a young boy in the throes of his first masturbation. As before, his body automatically kept thrusting. It was as if he couldn't stop the wonderful sensation running up and down his cock and the soft feel of her brown pubic hair against his balls. As he came back to himself, however, he saw the change in Meg. He saw the two small horns jutting from her forehead, how her ears had elongated and how her facial features had sharpened. The rest of her body was a bit more muscular, but that was the extent of her transformation. At first, his gut reaction stilled his thrusting motion. There were tears in Meg's eyes which ran into her hairline. Somehow, he couldn't help wanting her even more.

He continued to move within her, suckling at her breasts and softly encouraging her. He told her how good she felt as he moved inside her. He kept saying, over and over, that what she became didn't matter.

Meg wanted to push him away at first. But his softly phrased words and the way he was swirling his hips around soon had her experiencing yet another, deeper orgasm than ever before. It was so profound that she clawed at his shoulders and actually lost her voice. She couldn't even scream out his name as she needed to, or do anything other than flail with her legs and grip his body with her hands.

Del watched as she lost total control. His seed was hot and dripped against his thighs and hers, but he kept going, using his strength and stamina as a god to call forth another erection. Wildly, as if some demonic force had taken control, he bucked against her. For a brief moment, he didn't know where he was and couldn't have cared less. All the universe, all sensation, all reality centred around Megaira. He didn't give a damn what she was, just that she was his and no man would ever know her this way.

With a primal scream forcing itself from his lungs, Delos thrust one last time, just as Meg thrust her chest and full breasts up toward his face. He took her left nipple in his mouth, sucked and tasted the sweetest milk he'd ever had. It was warm and thick.

Meg collapsed upon the bed shaking.

Del kept laving her breasts, wondering in the changes in her body. As she recovered, however, the Harpy characteristics dwindled as did the milk she released. “You ... you never said anything about lactating,” he panted.

"I n-never did that before. Something about the w-way you're making love is causing it."

He brought her legs back down to the bed, sat up and pulled her with him. “Meg, the transformation is so minor it doesn't even signify. Why are you so frightened by it?"

She simply held onto him and tried to keep from crying.

"Meg, talk to me,” he encouraged.

"Why did you do it? Why?” she whispered against his shoulder.

Del stroked her hair and back. “Because I love you and don't care what you become when we make love. Look at it this way; I'll always know when I satisfy you. There'll be no faking anything between us."

She laughed through her tears and finally gazed up into his dark eyes. “I didn't disgust you?"

"Did I sound disgusted? Did I stop and run in horror?” he joked. “Or did you hear the sounds of a man who was being metaphorically torn apart by orgasms that were so strong as to be miraculous?"

"That wasn't fair, you know. You might have waited until I was fully awake."

"You wouldn't have made love to me without that ridiculous scarf. And I've have stopped the sex at any time if you'd told me to."

She shook her head. “I couldn't. I wanted it, too. I love you too much."

He pulled her against him again. “Then, we won't let what you are come between us again. Understood?"

She hugged him with all her might. “I do love you,
you know. So very, very much."

"See, Kato and your father are wise beyond comprehension. They knew this was right,” he whispered.

For the rest of the day, Del pampered her no end by feeding her bread, cheeses, olives, and wine. Then he gave her a hot oil massage until she begged him to take her from behind. He readily did so and found that, from that position, he couldn't uncouple with her until she'd changed back to her usual form and consciously relaxed enough to release his body. While taking her from that position, his yowls of delight sent birds in the nearby woods, scattering for safety. That rear position was exciting, exotic and raw. He took as many chances as he could to bring her to orgasm. Even by walking with her impaled on him several times.

Their mutual cries echoed off the ruin columns and into the evening air. Del finally lay spent, with her next to him. She was stroking his pubic hair with one hand while licking his nipple at the same time. He sighed in delight and watched the clouds in the distance.

"Looks like rain might be coming our way, love,” he idly remarked and tweaked her nipples until they sprang to attention.

She raised her head to look at the clouds, then sat up. “Del, those aren't rain clouds. They aren't anything normal."

Sitting by her side, he gazed into the distance and saw the purplish outline around the clouds, then the silver flashes of lightning from within. “Hades’ balls! You're right. It's Zeus. I've seen him make this kind of dramatic arrival before. The old goat loves nothing better than to transfix his audience."

"Look!” Meg cried out, and pointed to the road down the hill. “It's Father and Kato."

Del indeed saw both men riding at breakneck speed, just before the strange cloud. “Get your clothes on, love. Leave everything and bring Fleetwind to the back of the ruin. We'll have to make a run for it."

"No, Del! I won't run. I won't have Zeus take his anger out on Father, you or Kato. They were trying to protect me. And you knew nothing of my lineage until you were tricked into marrying me."

"I won't argue with you, Megaira. Get the horse, now!"

  "No,” she refused yet again.

"For the love of ... woman, you're trying my patience,” he told her as he grabbed his clothing at the same time she did. Just as they were finishing getting dressed, Kato and Hephenon road their horses up to the ruin, skidded them to a stop and ran inside the open foyer.

"Zeus knows everything,” Hephenon rasped out. “Those damned Stygian witches told Hera they'd share a great secret with her if she gave them some of the Olympian guard to screw."

"That's the only way they could get any men,” Del bit out. “Goddess knows they're the foulest creatures to ever walk on dirt."

Kato chimed up when he caught his breath. “Hera told Zeus what the witches told her. A friend from the palace got word to me that Zeus was coming for us and you. Hephenon and I were able to get a head start, but not much of one I'm afraid. I don't know where Hera is, but you can bet she won't waste time getting here."

Del could see the cloud now rolling over the tree tops and could feel the chilled wind of his father's approach. There was no running now. “Get Meg behind the ruin. I'll give you time to get her to safety."

"No,” Meg called out as the two older men grabbed her arms and tried to force her to do as Del bid. “I won't let you stand alone."

A hearty gust of wind hit Del in the face and blew the shrouded remains of alter fabric away from the ruins’ columns. He shook his hair out of his eyes just in time to see the regal visage of his father, materialising within the cloud. He stood straight and lifted his chin. If they were to die, he'd do so with some dignity. His father wouldn't see him cringe or beg.

"Why the dramatics, Father? Come down from the clouds and greet us like a man,” he sarcastically yelled. His father's voice echoed loudly back from the clouds, shaking the very ground on which they stood.

"Why do you greet me thus, my son? Have you no love for the Deity who gave you life? Have you no more regard for tradition that you would wed and flee without so much as a by your leave?"

"I refuse to live my life by your leave,” Del quickly responded. “And we both know you aren't here because Megaira and I wed outside the temple. You're here because of her blood. But know this ... You'll have to go through me to get her. She's my wife and I love her. The blood she carries isn't her fault."

"Who told you that I'd harm her? I'm assuming this is what you're accusing when you so boldly declare I'll have to go through you,” Zeus roared.

"Everyone knows you wanted the Harpies destroyed. That Meg was born of their kind doesn't make her a threat."

"Nor do I hold her as such. She has committed no crime against man or beast. Therefore, I will hold no previous edict concerning the destruction of Harpies against her. It is for love of you that I have come as quickly as I could, and to protect you and those in your charge, including the girl. Hera's fury, when she heard one of Harpy blood still existed, was uncontrollable. It was the Harpies that destroyed her temples in Athens and Greece. It was the Harpies who killed her son, Atticus. Though all of this happened centuries before your birth, her rage was further exacerbated when she learned you'd married one of that blood. To placate her for the night, and to give me time to seek you out, I sent three of my most powerful, sexually adept Olympian guards to her room. At my command, they seduced her into such a state that she put off pursuing you until she recovered. But that time grows short."

"You ... You're actually going to h-help us?” Meg stammered.

"Delos is of my loins. He is one of the favoured of my palace. I cannot fault his choice, knowing how beautiful you've grown, Megaira. Had I seen you first, your seduction might have been mine. Harpy blood or not, you've grown into a lovely young woman. But you and your father should never have trusted the Stygian witches with your secret. For the need of a man's cock between their horrible thighs, they've bargained that secret away to Hera and she will arrive shortly. Hence the need for my hasty exit and godly materialisation."

There was a moment of silence and Del saw the storm cloud overhead disappear. Only a moment later, Zeus was standing in human form, just a few feet away. As Del glanced at Meg and the two older men, he saw them bow their heads in unison. Then, he placed his attention back on the white-haired, bearded man before him.

"You all have only one choice,” Zeus proclaimed. “Delos, you have the power to open the door to human reality. While I can do so, Hera's oracles will surely know. They would seek her out and tell her of my actions even as she lies in her bedroom ... where three men romp. Her powers, however, aren't connected to you as she has made no emotional connection to your life. Luckily, she fears me, but only so much.” He paused and drew in a deep breath. “You must open the door to the human reality by using your own will; take your wife and your two comrades with you. Leave nothing behind upon which Hera can visit her wrath for she surely will destroy all you love. She wishes to finally make an example of you and your arrogant behaviour toward her in the past. Harming Megaira will be her first priority."

"Father, if we leave this reality, I'll lose my powers. All of us will lose whatever powers we possess. None of us will be able to get back."

"That is precisely the point. Hera will also lose hers if she comes after you. Even in her rage, she wouldn't dare do such a thing. You and your wife and companions will be human. Meg will no longer be afflicted with her Harpy countenance. You will all grow older, at the same rate any human would, and you will eventually die. But you will do so without the threat of Hera's vengeance.” He waved his hand and two sacks appeared at his feet. “I will not, however, send a son of mine into banishment without the proper means to support himself and those he loves. In the human reality, you will be known as Delos Andrianopolis. You will be a grower of fine grapes, a maker of brilliant wines, and a breeder of coveted horses. Mankind will not question your identity and you may go about your lives as you see fit. I will not see my grandchildren born or see them grow ... and I will miss y
ou, my son."

Del bowed his head in shame. “I-I thought you'd hurt Meg."

"Contrary to stories Hera and others spread, I am not the monster I would be painted. Embrace me now, Delos. For we shall not meet again."

Delos did as his father requested. It was a very long hug that had him wishing he'd known his father better. Then, he stood aside as Meg hugged his father, and Kato and Hephenon bowed and kissed the back of Zeus’ outstretched hands.

When a rumbling sound emanated from the south, everyone turned at the same time.

"Hera. She has found me out,” Zeus proclaimed, then pointed toward the bags at his feet. “Quickly, Delos. Take your companions, take the gems and gold in these bags and open the portal between the realities. I will hold Hera's attention, but she will be bringing her minions. I cannot watch them all. Go quickly!"

Del swallowed back the lump in his throat and glanced at Meg. He saw her humbly take the bags Zeus offered. He then saw Hephenon grabbed Kato's outstretched hand and Meg's shoulder. They formed a sort of connected chain. There was no time left to say or do more.

Delos lifted his palms, the flat of them facing toward the west. He circled them, making a round door appear. On the other side, he could see hills, valleys and orchards. Glancing back at his father one last time, he strongly proclaimed, “I love you, Father. I should have said it sooner."

That was the last they saw of Zeus.

Del stepped through the portal, with Meg following. Hephenon and Kato were right behind Meg.

Pawing at the ground and snorting in discontent at the approaching black cloud, Fleetwind trotted toward Zeus.
