He leaned down and kissed me. “You did great, Avery Gaither.”

I snorted. “Why not Martin Myer? Wait… that sounds like someone else’s name… damn it’s on the tip of my tongue—”

“Michael Myers… from the Halloween movie!” Martin supplied and I smacked my head.

“Oh yeah… how about Avery and Martin Gaither-Myer?” I suggested and he mulled it over.

“I like it. The Gaither-Myers… sounds very posh and English.” He snickered and kissed me again, running his tongue along my lower lip. I growled and ran my hands up his chest, finding and pinching his nipples.

He shuddered. “I’m so glad our kids went to the same school.”

“I’m glad we were both horny and went to Hobbins that fateful night. Who would have thought I’d find the man of my dreams sittin’ naked in a pool?”

Martin snorted a laugh. “How romantic! What a story to tell our grandkids one day.”

I chuckled. “I love you, Martin.”

“Love you too, Avery.” We kissed languidly and would have stayed there on the kitchen floor, if not for Peg hollering at us that the movie had started. We got up and joined Peg on the couch in the living room. I shooed him over to one end and I plopped down in the middle. Peg leaned against my left side and I hugged him close. I pulled Martin to my right and wrapped my arm around him. He rested his head on my shoulder and snuggled close. We would tell our respective families in the morning.

Tonight, was only for our little family: Martin, Peg and me.
