Turned: Their Vampire Princess (A Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance): Book 3

by Harlow Thomas

  “You need to feed.”

My fangs tingle at the word. God, I do. I’ve needed to feed more than usual since meeting them. Denying myself isn’t smart, especially when I’m planning to steal Thomas back from my backstabbing wench of a cousin.

“And you’re volunteering?” I cock my eyebrow with a soft smirk on my lips.

  “We all are, actually.”

  My eyes widen. “That’s…a lot.”

“You’ve been without for too long. We can’t let you go without knowing you’re as strong as possible.”

I take a steadying breath. The thought of feeding from each of them makes my hunger rage. Nodding, I begin making my way toward him, readying myself to take his offer. I can see the pulse of his blood through the vein in his throat. It calls to me like a beacon.

“Take off your shirt,” I say, my nipples aching as arousal mixes with bloodlust.

He reaches behind his head and tugs the fabric up and over, so sexy and smooth. My thighs clench at the sight. Miller has a beautiful body, all rigid and defined muscles, but he’s trim and lean, as though he stays fit by running or swimming rather than lifting weights. I want to explore him, but now is not the time. I need to take his blood and the offering of my other two lovers. Then I find Thomas.

Running my hand over his warm chest, I allow myself to savor him, the feel of the spray of hair across his pectorals, the slight hitch of his breath when I scrape my nails over his nipple. I want to taste him. Leaning in, I inhale the scent I’ve come to love—to crave. My fangs descend and even if I wanted to, there is no way I’ll stop now.

He cries out my name when my teeth sink inside, his hands wrapping around my waist, fingers clutching me to him. I feed, loving his distinct taste and relishing the power he gives me. Every time it’s stronger.

Desire clouds my thoughts, making me desperate to have him inside me as well. I know we don’t have time, but I need him. I tug at his belt and pop his top button while he moans. His cock is hard and long behind his fly, and if his thrusts against my palm are any indication, aching to slide home.

“God, yes,” he breathes. “Let me fuck you.”

He is mine and I am his. This is how it’s supposed to be when I feed. Us, joined together.

“Oh, fuck! No! Felicity!” Sebastian’s panicked voice carries into the room. My blood runs cold. Something isn’t right. I remove my fangs from Miller’s throat and back away as a loud crash and the distinct sounds of a struggle hit my ears.

Rushing down the hall, I beg my instincts to be wrong. They aren’t. The room is chaos, an overturned table, broken glass from a vase of roses is strewn across the floor, and the door wide open. Someone is here who shouldn’t be. A snarl fills the air as I round the corner and see Garrett pinned on his back, his blood spreading across the carpet as a servant I’ve never seen before tears into his jugular. No. Not again. This is not happening.

“No!” I scream, blurring to the man and ripping him off my prince. The servant slams into the wall, leaving a dent in the plaster, but he rushes me with a vicious growl. I need to get to Garrett, to heal him before it’s too late, but the bastard traitor is clawing at me, he’s deranged, manic. And then I realize, this isn’t someone I’ve spent my life around. This is a turned vampire sent after my crowned prince.

I growl in frustration when he lands a punch to my jaw, pain blossoming across my face even as I grip him by the throat. He scratches at my arms, long lines of crimson on my pale skin, but I won’t let him go. He will die for hurting my prince. Before he can do anything else, I slide my hand into my pocket and pull out the silver chain I tucked away in case I needed to use it on Thomas. I wrap it around the vampire’s neck, my skin burning just as badly as his, but I don’t relent. I pull—hard. I pull until the metal slices through his throat and comes out the other side. Until he’s nothing but a pile of ashes on the floor.

Breathing heavily, I stare at the remnants of the traitor for a moment, until I hear Garrett’s erratic gasps. He’s dying. Just like Thomas. Bleeding into the floor, leaving me. I run to him, falling to my knees beside him and tearing open my wrist, but he shakes his head.

  “You can’t. I’ll turn.”

Tears fall down my cheeks as I assess the level of blood loss. He’s lost too much. He’s right. He might turn. But I can’t lose him too.

Sebastian is at Garrett’s other side, a tortured expression marring his handsome features. “Stop,” he says, his voice soft and low.

“I can’t just sit here and let him die.”

He puts his hand on my bleeding wrist and I jump back at the burning sensation. My wound is closed. Healed. Flicking my gaze to his beautiful eyes, I gasp.

“Let me help him,” he says.

I nod and sit back on my heels, holding Garrett’s hand tightly between both of mine. Sebastian closes his eyes and places his palms over Garrett’s chest. My prince bucks and screams under Sebastian’s touch. The pain he’s enduring hurts me, but as I watch, his ravaged neck begins to heal, the color returns to his cheeks, and his breathing steadies.

“Sebastian…” I can barely get his name out through a throat tight with emotion.

He sighs and falls back against the couch, his head lolling on the cushion. His skin holds a pale and waxy pallor. My handsome prince, once strong and virile, is now a shell of himself. He is drained.

Garrett squeezes my fingers and groans as he sits up. “What the fuck was that?”

“Sebastian’s gift. He’s a…healer. I thought those didn’t exist anymore.” I stare at the man who has been confident and arrogant, the qualities of an alpha leader not a kind and gentle healer.

Garrett pulls me into an embrace, nuzzling my neck and tangling his fingers in my hair. “I thought I was going to leave you,” he murmurs.

Tears make my chest burn. “I thought the same.”

He presses a kiss to my skin and holds me tight against him. All I can do is breathe in his scent and be thankful to Sebastian for what he did. “I’m sorry he got inside the chambers. He said he had a message for you from your mother. I thought…it was stupid, but I thought because I’d been crowned it made things safer.”

Sebastian moans, drawing my attention from Garrett. He’s still pale and his eyes are closed, a frown furrowing his brow.

“Sebastian? How can I help?” I ask.

He brings his hand to his temple and sighs. “Fuck. My head hurts. I haven’t done that in a long time.”

“Well, I’m glad you did,” Garrett says, standing and holding a hand out to help Sebastian to his feet. “Thank you.”

“How do you feel?” Sebastian asks.

“Like nothing happened. How did you do that?”

Shaking his head slowly, Sebastian sits on the couch. “It’s hard to explain. I just kind of…take it all.”

“How does it not kill you?” I ask.

“I’m sure as shit not feeling my best right now,” Sebastian says, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Damn, Garrett. You were close to dying.”

My stomach churns at the thought. “Why didn’t you tell us you could do that?”

  “I don’t…talk about it.”

  “Why?”

  “It doesn’t always work.”

There’s so much pain behind his eyes. I can’t push any further. He’s got a story to tell but he’s not ready. I crawl into his lap and hug him tight. “Thank you for saving him. Thank you.” I press kisses to his forehead, his cheeks, his lips. “I love you.”

His fingers trail over my waist, under my shirt until they slide along my bare skin. “I know. I’m sorry, I can’t feed you tonight.”

I can’t believe he is even thinking about that. He just saved Garrett’s life, saved me from possibly turning Garrett. “There’s no way I’m feeding from either of you.”

“Then there’s no way you’re going after Thomas,” Garrett says. “Not until you’re as strong as possible.”

Panic builds in my chest of yet another night going by with
Thomas subject to Diana. But I know Garrett is right. She’s been feeding without a care for the lives she takes or the damage she does since our fangs first descended.

“As soon as I can feed, I’m going.”

  Chapter 9

  Sebastian

God my head is splitting. I manage to take myself to my bedroom, barely. Every step is like trudging against a current, through freezing cold, chest deep water. But I’ll never tell Felicity how close I came to dying. I just need to sleep it off. The last time I did this it took a full forty-eight hours before I was back to normal, but that ended in failure. I don’t have those hours to spare. Felicity won’t delay her mission to save Thomas much longer, and I don’t blame her.

I strip down to my boxers, needing to slip into bed and let the welcoming oblivion take me. The sheets are cool against my overheated skin and before long, I’m dozing, only vaguely aware of Felicity crawling into bed with me. But I’d know her softness anywhere. She snuggles up against me, her head on my chest and one leg thrown over mine. I drift off to sleep with one thought in my mind. This is how it should be.

I wake to Felicity’s hand stroking my hard length. Sparks of pleasure rush over me. I buck my hips and groan with every slide of her hand, but then her palm disappears from my shaft and I’m left needing. Until her mouth engulfs me. I let out a cry of surprise at the intense pleasure her tongue and teeth send racing through me.

  “Jesus, Felicity.”

She doesn’t stop. Her hand snakes up my inner thigh until she cups my balls as she sucks my cock. I don’t want to come so soon, but I’m fast approaching my climax like a damn runaway freight train. I have to admit, I’m feeling a hell of a lot better already, and I want to make her feel just as good as she’s doing to me.

“Give me that beautiful pussy, princess. Let me taste you while you fuck me with your mouth.”

Pulling her lips off my erection, she grins up at me. “You’ve got a dirty mouth.”

I offer a wink and a grin, but the smile slips off my lips as she repositions herself so her thighs are on either side of my face and her delicious cunt is on my mouth. She sucks me long and deep, so deep that I have to work to keep my focus on her slick sex. I lick and nibble, sucking her clit into my mouth and rolling my tongue over her. She sighs and moans around my cock, the vibrations of her mouth making my toes curl. I’m fucking close. I just need to feel her pulsing around my tongue.

Her hips buck and she cries out, coming on my face and making me lose all control. I shoot, blinding pleasure cresting and exploding, my orgasm racing up my spine.

“How long have I been out?” I ask as she rolls on her side.

“About twelve hours.” She trails her fingers over my leg. “Do you feel better now?”

“Hell, I feel like I could take on just about anything after that.”

“Good, because I can’t go much longer without feeding. And I need you.”

Fuck, yes. She can have me even if it kills me.

  Chapter 10

Sebastian’s blood calls to me. I can feel his heart beating from where my head rests on his chest. My hunger takes hold and I know I need to call my other lovers in here with us. Sebastian won’t be enough.

“I need Miller and Garrett,” I say.

He tenses under me, his hand flexing on my bare hip. “Here?”

I understand instantly. He doesn’t want to share me in his bed. Tilting my chin, I look up at him. His jaw is set and tight. “I can go to them after.”

Shaking his head, he takes a deep breath. “No. We do this together. You go get them, I’ll meet you in your room.”

Relief courses through me at his compromise. I slide out of bed and grab one of his shirts, tugging it over my head. The soft cotton smells like him. I love being surrounded by Sebastian.

When I head out of his room, I make my way down the hall in search of my princes. Soft murmured voices carry through the quarters. By the sounds filtering to my ears, Miller and Garrett are having a heated conversation about me.

“She’s not strong enough. She loves him too much to see past that.” Garrett’s voice is the loudest and I slow my pace, needing to hear what they are saying.

“I didn’t have the same vision she did. All I know is, Thomas went with Diana willingly. Why would he be chained now?”

“Exactly my point. It’s a trap.”

“But they couldn’t know one of us would have a vision. That’s not how it works. I’ve never been seen by anyone when I’m in the middle of a vision. I’m a fly on the wall. Felicity said he saw her and spoke to her.”

“So, there’s more to this. Maybe they have a connection because she turned him?”

My stomach twists. I turned him. I didn’t have a vision. He called me to him. He brought me in so I could see what was happening to him. Because I turned him. Of course.

I clear my throat so they’ll know I’m there and step into the room. “You’re right, Garrett. I’m his maker. I’ve got a link to him no one else can understand. It’s not something I thought about because it’s so rare for a human to be turned and survive.”

“Can you tell if he’s being truthful?” Miller asks.

I shake my head. “I don’t think so. I can find him, be called to him and he to me.”

“I can tell,” Garrett offers. “I just have to be in the same room as him.”

Worry crawls across my skin. “Not without me. If he’s hungry, you’ll be in danger.”

“Won’t you be in danger too?”

“I’m stronger. I can fight him off.”

Miller crosses the room and takes my hands. “Not if you don't feed nightly. You’ve been going too long between. It’s not safe.”

I sigh. “I know. I was coming for you both but I heard you talking. I need to take from all three of you now. Sebastian is waiting in my chambers.”

They each nod and Garrett stands, joining us as we walk back to my room. I will feed, then I will call Thomas home to me.

  Chapter 11

  Thomas

I have to get out of here. Diana will return at any moment. And she equals pain. For all her power, she’s nothing like my Felicity. My princess is everything to me and Diana hates her for it and so much more. Over the last few nights she has tried seduction, torture, and threats to get me to be loyal to her. It hasn’t worked. If I don’t get away soon, she’ll kill me.

The door opens, revealing my captor. I’m sure Diana would be beautiful if she weren’t so horrible. Her long blonde tresses make me think of Felicity and wish I were back with my love.

Diana smiles, her eyes glittering with an insane glee. What fresh hell does she have planned?

“You are such a handsome specimen, Thomas. It’s a shame.”

  “What’s a shame?”

In her gloved hand, she holds up a sterling silver knife. Immediately I begin to tug at my restraints. “That I’ll have to permanently ruin your beautiful body so I can send your remains back to my whore of a cousin as proof of what I can do to her chosen. Although, it probably won’t matter. She chose Garrett. He’s been crowned and she’s probably already carrying his child.”

My stomach turns. No. Felicity said she chose us all. If she crowned Garrett it was only because she had to. Diana turns and walks to the fireplace, placing what looks like a kettle over the coals. “What are you doing?”

A laugh rolls through her. “You’ll heal if all I do is cut into your skin. This holds molten silver. First I’ll cut you, then I’ll brand you and you’ll be dead of silver poisoning within an hour with no one to remove the metal I pour over your wounds.”

I can’t let her do this. If I don’t get out, I’m dead. “Wait. You don’t have to do this.”

She shakes her head. “No use begging now. You’ve shown me exactly how you feel. You’re a waste of my time.”

“But they’ll come for me. You can still take her crown.”

Cocking an eyebrow, she rests a hand on her hip. “No they won’t. They’re de
ad. She’s surprised us all and done her duty. She moved on without you.”

I swallow hard against the dryness of my throat. “If I have nothing, why kill me? Let me be yours. If she’s chosen I have no one to go back to.”

  “Why should I believe you?”

“Let’s just say, I’m highly motivated by the will to live.”

“Show me just how motivated you are.” She slips her gown over her shoulders and bares her breasts. “You’ve had my blood, but now we can share between us. Connect our bodies and blood. Once we exchange blood at the same time, we’ll be connected and I will be able to call to you.”

The thought of sharing such an intimate moment with her makes me cringe inwardly. She’s forced her blood on me before. But if I can convince her I want her, if I can get even a single hand free, I may be able to escape.

I nod, making a show of licking my lips as my fangs extend.

“If I’m going to fuck you while we feed, I’ll need use of my legs. I can’t fill you the way I want if I’m bound.”

She smirks. “I can find my pleasure by riding your cock.”

“But you won’t know the feel of me driving myself deep inside you. I can take you to heights you’ve never known.”

She glances down at my crotch where I’m obviously not aroused. “It doesn’t look like you will be able to do anything with that.”

“I’m not a submissive lover, Diana. I need to be in control if I’m going to make you scream. Felicity knows exactly what I need.”

Anger flashes in her eyes. “Don’t mention her name. She’s dead to you.”

“She’d let me get her on her back and fuck her until she couldn’t move. That’s what I need from you or this won’t work.”

Taking her lower lip between her teeth, she considers me. Her brow furrows and she climbs onto the bed, straddling me. I fight a shudder as she grinds against my cock.

“It won’t work,” I tell her. “I’ve told you what will get me off. This isn’t it.”
