ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
In 1989, Joseph Michael Linsner created Dawn, a modern take on classic earth goddess mythology. Since then, his work has developed a worldwide following, having been translated into Spanish, Greek, Italian and Dutch.
Born in Queens, New York, he has recently moved to the north Georgia mountains, where he lives with his two Sphynx cats. His next project is the vampire graphic novel, Dark Ivory, to be cowritten with Eva Hopkins. 2007 will mark the tenth year of the Dawn-Look-A-Like contest, held annually at Atlanta's fantastic Dragon-Con.
