The Redeemer Page 31

‘It’s only been a few days,’ she protested.

He grinned as she began to undress. ‘Like I say, too long. Come on, woman. Faster. I need to see you naked.’

She hurriedly pulled down her skinny jeans and then, as she struggled to kick them off her feet, she squealed as grasped her knickers and tore them off. Unceremoniously, he pushed her face down into the mattress and stood behind her to admire her curves. He undressed as he took in the delectable sight of her, groaning when she pushed her knees a little further apart and dipped her stomach so that her pussy opened up for his admiring gaze.

‘Tell me something, Red. Do you have suitable clothes to wear tomorrow?’

‘Huh?’ She turned her face to the side. ‘Suitable clothes?’

  ‘To hide my marks.’

‘Um yeah, I guess so. Why?’

‘Because we’re popping in to see your parents on our way home and I wouldn’t want to freak them out. Your father obviously approves of me.’

Isla snorted. ‘Because he doesn’t know you yet. Give him time.’

‘I’ll be the best son-in-law he could wish for.’

Isla’s mouth opened and closed but not a sound came out.

‘Oh yes – the minute I’m freed from my sham of a marriage, I’m making you my wife. After all, I own every single hair on your body. Every inch of your flesh – inside and out – is mine. Every orgasm you have, from this moment on, belongs to me. And tomorrow, you’ll have the ring of your choice on your finger, because I want everyone to know you’re completely and irrevocably mine.’

Raising her eyebrows, and managing to find her voice, she replied, ‘And how do people know that you’re mine from this moment on? Short of pissing on you to mark my territory, I can’t think of a way to mark you as mine.’

He grinned wickedly as he advanced upon her. ‘Oh, you filthy bitch. Don’t tease.’

  A message from J.D.

Thank you so much for sharing Isla and Xander’s tale with me. I know there is the potential to write more about them . . . my betas were all keen for there to be another book – at least! With each series I write, I try to explore a different aspect of relationships. In Rouge Passion, it was cheating, extreme dirty talk and rough sex. I feel it is time to move on BUT I’m not ruling out the possibility of a novella in future.

I’ve already begun my next series. Passion Noir will feature a few familiar faces from Rouge Passion but it will written in a different style and will contain a whole range of relationship issues. The central character will remain the same throughout the series – you’ve met her briefly in this book . . . La Veuve Noir – The Black Widow – LVN for short. However, each book (I’ve planned three) will focus on a different character. No cliffhangers are planned . . . but I can’t make any promises – the characters take over and often, it’s out of my hands.

In the first book, the focus is on Rouge Passion’s demoted head barman, Dean. I think you’ll agree that he needs help! Can LVN help him to overcome his issues? Or is he a lost cause?

If I can manage to release it by the end of 2014, I will but it may well be early 2015. By then I’ll be well into the second book in the series – where former Marine ‘Jones’ will be in the spotlight. Just what does the gorgeous, alpha action man need from LVN?

The third and final book (as it currently stands) will focus on the mysterious lady herself. Yes, La Veuve Noir has her own story to tell . . . and yes, she’ll tell it in her own inimitable way. Hold on to your seats, I just know that she’ll take us on quite a journey.

I hope you’ve enjoyed Rouge Passion and that you’ll join me for a little Passion Noire . . .

Meanwhile, I’d love it if you could leave a review for The Redeemer. Reviews are like gold to an Indie author. I don’t have a publisher or even a publicist; I rely mainly on recommendations and reviews in order for new readers to discover my books. The Player held the #1 ranking in Amazon’s romantic erotica and erotica charts simultaneously – something that I’m incredibly proud of. And something that I’ll be forever thankful to you guys for. I daren’t even hope that The Redeemer can match it but I do hope that you will let me know whether you enjoyed reading it.

I’d better get back to LVN . . . Dean has been left in a very compromising position!

Drop by and say hi . . . you know where to find me.

  Much love and gratitude,

  J.D. xxx
