“So they knew, those two asshole knew the whole time. I wondered at the end if my cover had been blown, they must have found out. “The other list?” Drew said.
“It"s a list of women. We assumed it was names of the women he got pregnant. So we looked at them too.” Bear said and looked at Lily. “All of them are dead now, but two.”
“Were they killed?” Lily whispered.
“This was the old man"s list of women. So no, most of them died of natural causes and accidents. The, uh, two that are alive were both employees of the old man. We figure if we contact them, maybe they can help us sort out the short hand.” Bear said.
“Good thinking. Who are they and where are they?” Rex said briskly. He was going to need a few minutes to absorb all of this stuff. He knew that his mother had been on the list.
