About the author
Originally from Nottingham, I enjoyed putting my eggs in all the baskets, studying English & Theatre and Media Drama at University. Though I secretly harboured dreams of being a journalist, I found myself moving to London and parachuting into the world of Public Relations.
In some way, shape, or form, I’ve always wanted to write and tell stories. So, after ten years of paying my dues in PR, I finally wrote my first book. And so began the journey…
…which led to the creation of Adaptive Consequences, the first book of The Adaptive Series. Its sequel, Adaptive Resistance, will be published soon. Sign up to my newsletter to find out when. If you sign up via this link, as a thank you, you’ll receive a little bonus novella – Odgerel’s Story, where you can read her version of events. If you’re reading a hard copy, please do sign up to my newsletter on my website (details below), email me via my author page, and I’ll be happy to send on.
I’m a published poet, with a few TV and Film screenplays under my belt, and I’ve even dabbled in a ghost-writing a memoir project.
Yep, I really love writing.

Acknowledgements
Thank you to my family – especially my mum, dad and moma for their overwhelming support, belief and encouragement to follow my dreams; this book is infused with your love.
Massive high five to Abie, so…close….!!! Thanks for your continual support on this HP journey; I couldn’t have done it without you, bruv. To all my friends and cheerleaders, who spurred me, believing in my dream as much as I did. You’re the tonic to my gin – esp. #SWF.
Thanks to the Brick Lane Writing Group. Although I was only there for a short spell, your critiques were the pivot that changed everything, and to the ‘Walthamstow Splinters,’ I found so much value and support in our mini-community of writers.
Thank you to the team at Jericho Writers who were my proxy publishing team; you’ve been my stewards as I’ve navigated through this process – I am much obliged.
Love to my dearest Lady G, the furry friend I never knew I needed. Your purring is my favourite soundtrack.
I thank myself as well – for prioritising my writing, time and time again, and jumping back on the horse when I didn’t want to. I did it!
Right…on to the next.
Dedication
To my wonderful parents; without you, this could not have been possible. xx.
