The Keepers #4 Page 32

by Ted Sanders

Iacopo Bruno, whose amazing art I genuinely treasure. I’m so honored to have had your work gracing the covers and pages of these books.

Liz Howey. I’m not exaggerating when I say I could not have finished this final book without your incredible work cataloging the people, places, creatures, and mysteries of the Keepers. I asked for your help and you sent back a miracle. Thank you for making my life so much easier.

My friends, supporters, and colleagues. Matt Minicucci, Laura Koritz, Russell Evatt, Kathy Skwarczek, Jeff & Rosita Durbin, Michele Whisenhunt, Elizabeth Tavares, Janice Harrington, Antonia Leotsakos, Tom Seals, Cara Baiocchi, Matt Mullholland.

My teachers. Philip Graham, Rick Powers, Mike Madonick, and many others—especially Neil Archer, who shocked me and changed me by hating the first real story I wrote. Your belief that I could, and should, do better was the best lesson I ever learned.

My parents, who made me a reader.

My children, Rowan, Bridget, and Milo.

My wife Jodee, who has given me so much room and support, and who has had to listen to me brag, complain, and fret for years now. Thank you endlessly for your love and patience.

And finally, all my readers, and all the fans of The Keepers. It’s been so gratifying meeting so many of you. Your passion for these books has been the best reward a writer could ask for. Thank you all, big and small.
