Blush Page 12

I thrust hard, then soft, then hard, then I let her legs slide down my shoulders to my arms and onto the bed. I position my forearms alongside her head and gaze into her eyes as I slowly thrust and roll my hips, circling when I get deep inside to rub against her clit.

“God, Jesse,“ she breathes. “You… I can't…“ she shakes her head, tears spilling from the corners of her eyes. I nod, knowing exactly what she's feeling.

I cup her face in my hands, sipping the tears between my lips, then looking at my wife.

“Everything I am, Lucy. Everything is yours. There will never be anyone for me but you. Only you.“

  “Only you, Jesse. Forever.“

“Forever,“ I agree. I feel her pussy start clenching my cock harder and I know she's getting close. “Come for me, Lucy. Give me everything.“

She nods. “I want all of you.“

  “You have it.“

  “Come with me, Jesse.“

I thrust harder and faster, my cock sliding along her clit on the down stroke and it doesn't take long before she's panting out her release, trying hard not to cry out. I kiss her deeply, my tongue mimicking our bodies, and two thrusts later I'm coming hard, so fucking hard it steals my breath, inside my wife.

  “Wife,“ I whisper.

  “Husband,“ she whispers back.

I bury my nose in her neck trying not to let the tears spill that are clouding my vision. I never knew love could be this powerful, that it went all the way down to your soul. I lift my head and meet her gaze as I let twin tears slide down my cheeks.

“We've got this, Luce. You with me?“

She nods. “Yes. I'm with you.“ She wraps her arms around me and squeezes me tight, so god damn tight, but it's not tight enough. If I could crawl inside her to be a part of her, it would complete me physically as our love does emotionally.

“I will love you until my dying breath, Lucy. Trust in me. Trust in our love. I'll work harder.“

“I know you will. I do trust you. It will take you some time to adjust. You've been doing the same thing for how many years?“ She shakes her head. “I realized last night it was unfair of me to expect you to be able to change past behaviors, but please…“ she pauses, “please don't let them touch you like that again.“

  “I promise.“

She nods then a sexy, mischievous smile forms.

  “What is it?“

“You fuck me so unbelievably well that, I kid you not, I feel tingles of my orgasm all the way down to my toes.“

  “Of course you do.“

  She slaps at me.

I chuckle. “What I mean to say is, I think when you find your other half, when you make love, it fills your entire being. That's how it feels for me.“

  “Yes! Exactly!“

“Are y'all fuckin' in there?“ Xander asks, sounding country.

“Maybe,“ Jesse answers with a smirk.

“Will it be time for Lucy's meds again soon?“

I look at the clock. “In an hour. Why?“

“Then you've got an hour. I like stoned Lucy.“

Lucy smiles softly. “I'll be there, Xan my man.“

  “Come hard, Luce my goose.“

  “Xander,“ she chides.

“Too far?“ he asks with a smile in his voice.

  “Just a little bit.“

“Still.“ He pauses. “Come hard and come often, oh married ones.“ His voice trails off.

I move my hips, getting hard again, and Lucy bites back a moan.

“I'm so happy my husband has amazing stamina.“ She grins and throws her arms around my neck.

“I'm so happy my wife doesn't complain about my stamina and she can keep up.“

“Kiss me,“ she orders, so I do.

IT'S JUST OVER an hour later when we rejoin everyone in the lounge area. I'm really glad I went ahead and got these two extra buses. There aren't many bunks but there's plenty of sofa and chair space, space for cooking which I note Misty to be doing already, and even a large amount of free space in the middle of the sofas if we remove the table there.

But we needn't worry about that at all right now. Not with Xander and the girls table dancing. Lucy breaks free of my hold, more than a little high from her pain meds, and runs to Xander. She squeals when he changes the music the minute she enters the room.

Christ. The Way You Make Me Feel by Michael Jackson is now blaring over the sound system of the bus. The girls are having fun, Xander starts singing to Lucy.

“Hey pretty baby with the high heels on…“

“Fucking hell,“ Cage mutters under his breath and Sera smacks his ass. He grins and sends her a wink. “You almost can't be annoyed when you see that.“

I nod knowing exactly what he means. Watching Lucy, Xander, Meggie, Sera, Celeste, and even Misty dancing around singing… and there goes Jace. I shake my head and reach into the refrigerator for a beer.

Misty eyes me warily. I wonder what her story is, how much bullshit and torment she's had to go through living with her sister. Hell, five years is a long time to have to fend off a pervy brother-in-law. I wonder if she'd always been successful. The thought burns me deep inside. No one deserves that. No one. Especially not someone as sweet as Misty seems to be.

Hell. More Michael Jackson plays as the song switches over to Bad. I can't help but laugh as I watch my wife's antics with Xander. Those two are something else. She's singing the song at him, challenging him, and he's playing the role well.

I look over at Trace who's holding up his phone recording the whole thing. I smirk and he shrugs.

“It'll be good for the BFD blog.“

  “There's a fucking BFD blog?“

“Where've you been, dude?“ Ethan asks.

“In his wife's pants,“ Kennedy answers.

“Fuck yeah,“ Ben fist bumps me and I resist the urge to roll my eyes.

“Can you blame me? Look at what's in those pants. Check out that ass. Jesus,“ I mutter and adjust myself. You'd think it'd been weeks instead of minutes since I've come inside my wife. The things that woman does to my body. God damn.

  “Seriously, dude?“ Kennedy asks.

I shrug. “I think one day I'm going to die fucking her but I'll die a seriously happy motherfucker.“

  Kennedy nods.

Sera squeals when the first strains of Hurts So Good by John Cougar or is it John Mellencamp? Or is it John Cougar Mellencamp? Oh, who the fuck knows anymore. I swear some of the dudes from the eighties changed their names more than they changed their underwear.

“Wow,“ Ben murmurs and shakes his head as he tips his beer back for a swig. “Eighties dancing. The short leg kicks and everything.“

“The arm swings,“ Ethan adds, watching in amusement.

“Just ‘cause you fuckers don't have the moves,“ Xander taunts rolling his hips, “don't hate.“

I let out a snort and kick back in the recliner to watch the show.

“Whatever Misty's got going on in that oven smells like fucking heaven.“

“Killer enchiladas,“ Ethan murmurs in appreciation.

“Where the hell did she get stuff for enchiladas?“ I ask.

“Brought it with her from her house.“ Ethan grins.

I nod. “I like her already.“

  “Hell yeah,“ Jace agrees.

The music stops as Kennedy ridicules Xander.

“Dude, why are you hating?“ Xander asks him.

  “I'm not hating.“

“Just because you don't know any of our tunes…“ Xander trails off.

  “That's just sad,“ Lucy taunts.

  “Oh hell,“ I murmur.

Ethan nods and Cage smirks. Damian crosses his arms. We all settle back to watch the master at work.

“Shut the fuck up, X. I know that shit,“ Kennedy bites out.

  “Yeah?“ Xander challenges.

  “What d'ya got? Bring it.“

“Alright, alright. Help me pick one out Luce,“ Xander invites.

  “No, no,
“ she answers. “Let's let Kennedy pick his own.“

  Xander nods. “Alright. That's cool.“

Kennedy starts strumming his ever-present guitar, contemplating what to play. I can see him thinking and I know when he figures out what it's going to be. It's taken a hell of a lot of years to be able to see any chink in that man's armor, any twitches or tells, but I know a few.

I take a drink of my beer, noting Misty is watching with wide eyes.

Kennedy nods. “This is for you, X.“

  Xander grins.

At first I don't recognize the song with just the chords, but Trace must because he starts tapping out a rhythm on the table with his sticks.

  “Kick ass, dude,“ Jace exclaims.

“Dude,“ Xander bows as he recognizes Dirty White Boy by Foreigner. “Truer words were never spoken.“

“Seriously,“ Meggie adds with a grin.

I sit back and wait, I know it won't take him long. He'll need the vocals. He always does and when no one else offers them up, Kennedy starts singing.

Hey, baby, if you're feelin' down

I know what's good for you all day

Are you worried what your friends see

Will it ruin your reputation lovin' me

Xander jumps in with a swivel of his hips.

‘Cause I'm a dirty white boy

  Yeah a dirty white boy

  A dirty white boy

Xander twirls Lucy under his arm then brings her back. The movements are slow and I nod my approval. She doesn't need to hurt herself. Those meds make her dizzy as fuck. Last thing she needs is to trip and land on that hand.

I can't help but feel responsible even though she assures me it's not my fault. I'm going to make sure nothing like that happens to Lucy again. Ever. Those chicks need to back off because I am married, happily, and that's never going to change. Maybe I'll talk to Celeste about putting something on the BFD blog.

I snort when Xander grabs his sticks and starts drumming out the beat for Billy Squier's The Stroke.

“For real, Xan my man. These are so totally your songs,“ Lucy laughs.

  He nods. “Right? Lovin' it.“

“I've got one,“ Lucy announces then her face falls when she realizes she can't play her guitar. “This blows.“

“I gotcha, sissypants,“ Sera tells her. “Whatcha want?“

Lucy leans in and whispers something to Sera that has her throwing her head back and laughing.

“Yeah, that fits too,“ Sera agrees.

“Might be easier tapping out a beat?“ Lucy asks.

“Let's try this. Megs,“ Sera whispers in her ear and Meggie grins.

  “Oh yeah.“

“Way cool,“ Lucy all but vibrates with excitement.

Sera snatches Xander's drumsticks and Meggie strums the guitar. None of us recognize it and we all must look confused because it's not long before Lucy starts humming the melody and then sings modified lyrics to Prince's Darling Nikki.

I knew a guy named Xander

I guess you could say he was a sex fiend

Met him in a hotel lobby

  Masturbating with a magazine

He said how'd you like to waste some time

And I could not resist when I saw little Xander grind

“Ha!“ Xander shouts. “I am loving this!“

Cage shakes his head and Damian is smirking. The rest of us are tapping out a rhythm and if they're anything like me, they're singing the lyrics in their head.

Lucy yawns mid-song and Xander rubs her back.

When the song's over, she comes over and climbs onto my lap, resting her head against my chest.

Then she starts singing the song that drew me to her and I join in. Everyone's got their guitars or are tapping out a beat as we sing Never Be The Same by Red.

  I know you

  Who are you now

Look in to my eyes if you can remember

  Do you remember?

Next Sera leads us in with The Exies' Tired of You and that's when my wife gives up the fight. She stops singing to hum. Her hums fade and soon she's sound asleep in my arms.

I love her so much it hurts. I know I owe Cage huge for setting up the video shoot. Did he somehow know we'd hook up? Yeah, he knew about Lucy's crush, but did he know I'd fall ass over elbows for this beautiful, talented, loving, sexy-as-sin woman now snuffle snoring against my chest?

Damian, who's sitting in the recliner a few feet away, grins a small grin. “That's cute as hell.“

I want to punch him in the face for even noticing, but how can I blame the guy? Lucy's not just any woman. She's a woman that guys notice immediately. Not because she's gorgeous, though she is. It's because she radiates this aura that shouts kindness and sweetness yet there's an edge to it that also says “do not fuck with me“.

  So, instead, I nod.

“I love her snuffles,“ Ethan agrees.

  “Snuffles?“ Kennedy asks.

Ethan raises his hands then lowers them as if to quiet everyone down without having to say it. Everyone stops and listens to Lucy's snores and I grin. She'd hate knowing we were listening to her snore, but fuck if it isn't cute as hell like Damian said. It lulls me to sleep at night. I honestly don't think I'd be able to sleep without her now.

“Damn. Is there anything about her that isn't charming?“ Kennedy asks.

“Nope,“ I say softly. “Even when she's pissed she's amazing.“

“I'll hold some dinner for her,“ Misty tells me as she goes to check the oven.

I reach out for her to stop her and she immediately stiffens. I want to kick her brother-in-law's nuts into his throat.

“Thank you, Misty. She'll appreciate it.“

Her expression softens and she nods. Eventually she'll relax and figure out no one here is going to harm her. Until then, we'll just keep reassuring her.

Jace brings a blanket over and covers Lucy. I nod my thanks and settle in, rubbing her back as she rests. In this moment, I'm the happiest and most content I've ever been in my life.

Damian mutters, “Lucky fucker,“ and I nod at him.

  “I know it.“

He nods. Sera brings an ice pack and a hand towel and puts it on Lucy's hand. She lingers and I meet her gaze.

“I'm happy you found each other. It's nice to see her on the receiving end for once,“ she whispers.

“She always was, Sera. She had you.“

She presses her lips together when the bottom one quivers then shakes her head. “I took more than I gave.“

Cage leans forward. “For her, giving is as good as receiving.“ Amazingly, Xander doesn't make a joke about that statement.

  Both Sera and I nod.

“When she wakes up, there's something we need to discuss,“ Cage tells me.

  I nod. “Good or bad?“

He smiles a humorless smile. “In between.“

I sigh. Sera sends me a wink and sits next to Cage, resting her head on his shoulder while he fucks around on his phone.

This is our life for the next four months. These are the people we'll be with. Family. Within such a short time we've created a family.

As I said before, it doesn't get any better than this.

  “Everyone wants to be appreciated,

so if you appreciate someone, don’t keep it a secret.“

  —MARY KAY ASH

I HEAR QUIET murmurs and slowly rouse myself from sleep. I snuggle into Jesse's hard chest and inhale deeply. He always smells so amazing. Like sandalwood, ocean, and yum.

I wonder how long I've been out. I wiggle a bit and Jesse kisses my forehead.

  “How're you feeling?“

“Hurts. How long have I been out?“

“About an hour and a half.“ He rubs his hand up and down my back and I breathe him in again.

“You smell so good,“ I tell him.

He chuckles. “It's just whatever soap or shampoo I've got.“

“I know. That's what makes it so seriously sexy,“ I whisper
and kiss his jaw.

“None of that shit out here,“ Jace teases.

I lift my uncasted arm and flip him off. He laughs, as does everyone else in the room. Sitting up, I push the stray hair back from my face and blink myself awake.

“She looks like a baby owl or something,“ Kennedy teases.

  “Knock it off.“

“What?“ he asks with a smirk.

“Stop watching me.“ I look around. “All of you knock it off. You're creeping me out.“ I look to Jesse. “What the hell?“

He chuckles and shrugs a shoulder.

“You're too gorgeous for us to resist,“ Meggie purrs. “If I swung that way, Luce, you'd be it for me. I'd fight Jesse to the death.“

I lean back in confusion. “You all are weird.“

  They all laugh.

“So tell me,“ I begin, sitting up a little straighter.

  “Tell you what?“ Jesse asks.

“Do you all do that often?“

“What's that?“ he seems a little confused.

“Manipulate Kennedy into playing and singing,“ I grin.

Cage chuckles. “For as long as I've known them. Xander baits him, or one of them does, and Kennedy always takes the bait.“

  “Really?“ I look at Kennedy.

He nods. “I don't like to lose and I don't like to be proven wrong when I know I'm right.“

I just stare at him for a few seconds then nod and smile. He smiles back.

“I can understand that. I can see that about you.“

“I've got to admit I like this forced proximity thing going on,“ Meggie tells us. “It's a great way to get to know each other better. I mean, we've been around each other a while now but not like we are now. Casa Falling Down is like living across town from my room to yours but here we're going to bump into each other when we don't want to, likely eat each other's food, drink each other's drinks, and learn far too much about each other's bodily functions than we care to know.“

  “True,“ Damian agrees.

  “I like it,“ I admit.

“Tell me that again in four months,“ Jesse teases.

I just shrug. “I need to take my meds.“

“I've got it set on your dinner tray,“ Misty tells me.

I smiles wide. Misty is amazing. Quiet and shy, but she'll come out of his shell eventually. “Thank you so much, Misty. You are a godsend.“
