Author Note
The Soldiers of Wrath: Grit Chapter is loosely connected to the Soldiers of Wrath MC, another series written by Sam and Jenika. Although the Grit Chapter may have minor mention of previous characters from the other series, the grit Chapter series can be read on its own.
Beast, and any future Grit Chapter stories, has its own world, plots, and of course, explosive chemistry between the characters. Readers will NOT have to read The Soldiers of Wrath series in order to understand or follow Beast, or any corresponding stories in the Grit Chapter series.
Bridget is in trouble and knows the only person that can help her is Beast, a hardened biker she's grown up with. He isn't just a man, but a rough around the edges, dangerous, and raw alpha that acts first and asks questions later. He is also patched in with the Grit Chapter of the Soldiers of Wrath MC, a motorcycle club that does what it has to do to stay on top. In order for Beast to help her, she's going to have to give him something he wants in return ... her body.
He frightens her, but he also arouses her, and she knows being his means more than just surrendering her body to him.
Can Bridget let go and submit to the biker? Or will giving herself to Beast completely end up breaking her?
Always be true to yourself, and don’t put up with anyone’s shit.

Chapter One
“If you think I won’t find you, you’re fucking crazy. I’ll find you, hunt you down like a damn animal, and I’ll make you hurt in more than one way, bitch.”
Bridget replayed the last words Rafe uttered over and over again, like it would make the situation any different.
“You know your tears make me hard, make me get off. So run, little girl, because I’ll have fun finding you.”
She curled her hand around the only bag she’d brought with her, hating that she was running, that she’d let the asshole win. When the Greyhound stopped and she got off, all she could do was stand there, staring up at the “Welcome to Grit” sign. She’d grown up in Grit in a good family, but after her stepbrother joined an MC, their parents moved away, and she’d lost her job, she’d left Grit and everything the town had to offer behind. Yet here she was, back again, running from a life that she’d gotten herself into.
Curling her hand around her bag so tight, she felt her knuckles crack, she headed toward the one and only diner in Grit. It was a ten-minute walk from the bus stop, but she needed that time to clear her head and think about the help she needed from Beast and his club. She needed a plan for her approach; she had to figure out just how to ask her stepbrother, a feared MC member in Grit, to help her kill her ex.
“You want a hit of this shit?” King, the VP of The Soldiers of Wrath MC: Grit Chapter said, pushing the mirror toward Beast. The glass was covered in white residue, the coke calling to him, but Beast just shook his head and leaned back on the couch.
He looked around the club, the air smoky, hazy, the club whores grinding on the Patches, sucking dick in the corner, and getting fucked by the bar. It was a full-blown party tonight, with nothing held back. Grim and Reaper, twin Patched Brothers were playing a game of darts, and their Prez, Payne, came walking out of one of the back rooms, adjusting his zipper and belt, a worse for wear club whore stumbling behind him. Yeah, she’d been fucked good and hard; the rode hard and put away wet phrase had never been truer than it was looking at her.
Boxer and Smoke, two Patches that were doing a drinking game, hollered out right before they slammed their drinks back.
A club bitch was in the corner with Smalls, a Patch that got his nickname because he had a dick so big that the club bitches complained they weren’t able to take him all. Then there was Vita, another sweet-butt, bent over the pool table, her skirt thrown over her ass as Pike fucked her from behind. The prospects were behind the bar serving drinks, and the Patches that weren’t fucking or getting his dick sucked, were watching the women strip, getting drunk, or getting high.
“You on a fucking cleanse or something?” King said and started chuckling. But it was slurred, slightly distorted, and he knew the club’s VP was wasted. “Since when do you pass up some lines?”
“I’m drunk enough right now.” Although, he liked to party just like the next motherfucker, Beast couldn’t stop thinking about the phone call he’d gotten last night from Bridget. The fact she’d called him, reached out, and said she needed to talk, had his head in fucking knots all day. If she wanted anything to do with him then shit had to be pretty damn bad.
They hadn’t spoken since he was eighteen-years-old, nearly two decades ago. Fuck, it had been a long time since he’d spoken to he
r but he had to his father.
Their parents had hooked up when he was fourteen and she was ten, but they’d never really had any kind of relationship. Maybe it was the fact he hadn’t given a shit about anyone but himself, didn’t care if he got in trouble, or if he did things that were wrong and illegal. She’d been this little goody-two-shoes, the straight-A student, and the one that made even his old man proud. Beast, on the other hand, had been nothing but a stain on their family, a pain in the ass that was brought home by the cops, got into fights, and had been all around bad from the very beginning.
He grabbed his beer and took a long drink from it.
Damn, he could still remember their last exchange all these years later, still picture it like it had happened yesterday.
“I can’t believe you’re joining a motorcycle club and just leaving everything,” Bridget murmured to herself, disgust in her voice.
“Why the fuck do you care?” Beast said, finished packing the rest of his shit, and faced her. She was leaning against the doorframe, her eyes narrowed, and annoyance coming off her in waves.
“I don’t, but you see how upset you make my mom and your dad?”
“They don’t give a fuck about me anymore, Bridge. You should know that better than anyone.”
She shook her head. “Can you blame them? I mean the cops bring you home more times than not, you have been in jail, do drugs and drink...” she stared right into his eyes.
The truth was he hated that she looked at him like that, hated that, at fourteen, she was the only person that had ever made him feel like crap for what he’d done in his life. He tossed his bag on the bed and crossed his arms over his chest.
“You and I have never had that brotherly and sisterly relationship.”
She curled her nose. “We aren’t brother and sister.”
“Technically, we are.” He grinned, loving that teasing her made her pissed.
“That’s gross.”
At only fourteen, she was a spitfire and always gave as good as she got. “Listen, having me here isn’t working out anyway. I’m at my dad’s throat all the time, your mom seems afraid of me, and you hate me.” He shrugged.
She exhaled and moved a step into the room. “I don’t hate you. I just wish you made better decisions.”
“Says the fourteen year old that is the apple of our folk’s eye.”
She rolled her eyes. “If you want to run from your family, be my guest. But don’t expect us to be here when you hit rock bottom.”
That had the darkness in him growing, the shadows and evil inside of him taking over. Pushing his family away was the safe thing to do, the smart thing. Having them close with the way his life was going would only hurt them more than he’d already done.
“If you weren’t such an asshole, things could have been good here.”
He growled out. “Fuck you, Bridge. Get out.”
She narrowed her eyes again, but didn’t say anything as she turned and left him to finish packing. He’d get the hell away from them and have a new family in his MC.
“You boys want to party?” Roxie, one of the veteran club whores said. Her voice pulled him out of the past. He looked at the sweet-butt. She definitely was a veteran in the club, meaning she’d been with all the guys enough times to know exactly how they liked to fuck.
And he was just drunk enough, and had enough shit going on right now, that being with Roxie wouldn’t be bad, not when he knew she could get him off faster than anything or anyone else.
Bridget had made it to the diner and now sat at the old, chipped Formica table, staring at the lukewarm coffee in front of her. Her cell beside her, she had been looking at it intermittently for the last hour, trying to find the courage to call Beast again.
She’d called him last night, on the precipice of the shit going down, but she told him she’d call him later with more details. It had been nearly twenty years since she’d spoken to him, but when she heard his voice on the other end, it was as if she was that fourteen-year-old girl watching him leave and hearing him tell her to fuck off.
She picked up the cell, dialed his number she’d gotten from their parents, and placed the phone to her ear. What would he do, and how would he feel knowing she was in town, that she was so desperate she’d resorted to calling him and asking him for help all these years later?
How would he feel when she came to him because she needed things that only he and his MC club could offer to help take care of her problem?
Chapter Two
Roxie was doing her sexy dance, and his dick was all into that action. Beast couldn’t deny that Roxie was a dirty little bitch who loved fucking as much as he did. She loved cock in her pussy, ass, or mouth, and the bonus? She fucking swallowed. There was nothing he liked more than not having to clean up his cum when he was getting head.
“You fucked any Brothers today?” he asked, sipping his drink.
“Maybe.” She stripped out of her shirt, flashing her tits, which looked a little saggy. Fuck, he wasn’t drunk enough if he was starting to think about all the dick she’d actually had, which was turning him off. Running a hand down his face, he stretched his arms wide.
He jerked his attention back as Roxie straddled his waist. “Hey, baby, I’m right here.”
“I want your lips around my dick, not talking.”
She gave him a smile and slid down his body. Closing his eyes, he listened as she unbuckled his belt, tugging it as she tried to get into his pants. She was probably too fucking doped up on coke to know what she was doing.
I’m done with this shit already.
Shit, he shouldn’t be like this. One call from Bridget and he was fucking losing his cool. Before her call, he’d have been snorting shit up and fucking every single club whore until he was exhausted and finished.
One call and he was questioning everything he was doing. He hated it. Bridget had no say on anything he did; yet he replayed their last moment together over and over in his mind. He’d never shared any of his thoughts or desires with anyone.
There were times he’d found himself thinking about what would have happened if he hadn’t left, hadn’t come to the club. Bridget was his fucking stepsister, but he’d liked her. She held the innocence of a life he’d left behind.
“Beast?” Roxie said.
“What?”
“Your cell is ringing.”
He’d been so fucking stuck in thinking about Bridget that he hadn’t heard his own cell phone going off.
Pushing Roxie out of the way, he lifted up, and pulled his cell from his pocket.
“Beast here,” he said.
“I’m at the diner. Will you come here so we can talk, maybe pick me up?” Bridget asked.
“You’re in Grit already?”
“Yes. Please, I don’t want to be here too long.”
She was sniffling, and thinking about her crying pissed him off. “I’m on my way.”
Disconnecting the call, he released a sigh.
“What’s up, baby?” Roxie asked, shaking her tits. What little erection he had was gone. What was it with Bridget always affecting him?
“I’ve got to head on out.”
“We’ll pick this up later?” Roxie asked
If he could be bothered to
It had been a long fucking time since he’d last seen Bridget. He didn’t know if he’d even recognize her.
The last time he saw her she had blonde hair and blue eyes filled with life, with hope.
“Do you want me to go to your room and wait for you? Keep your bed nice and warm?”
“Nah, go keep the Brothers company.”
She pouted, but got to her feet, and kissed his cheek. “I’ll be waiting for you, no matter what you want.” She gave him a wink and left him alone. Roxie was a decent woman, even is she was a club whore.
Grabbing his keys, he made his way out of the Grit Chapter clubhouse. He was suddenly so damn nervous, and it pissed him off.
Bridget had left town, left him like e
veryone else.
You left her first, asshole.
“Shit.” He scrubbed a hand over his hair and exhaled loudly.
There was no way he was going to let her make him nervous. They were strangers now.
Straddling his bike, he headed out of the clubhouse toward the only diner in town.
He didn’t have a fucking clue what he was going to do when he saw her again. What surprised him the most was the fact she’d come to him and not to their parents.
Parking his bike, he climbed off, and made his way into the diner. Glancing around the interior, he cursed, and then zeroed in on her. Her hair was no longer blonde but black, and it was long, curving around her waist. She wore a pair of jeans with the knees torn, and the shirt pressed her tits together, showcasing her large cleavage.
The young innocent girl he remembered was gone, and in her place, was a woman who knew about life, which was clear by her face and the air around her. He didn’t know if he liked that.
She grabbed her bag, threw down some cash, and walked toward him. “I’m in trouble, and I need your help.”
Beast hadn’t taken her back to the clubhouse, and Bridget didn’t know how she felt about that. Instead, he’d taken her back to his house. Sitting at the table, she bit her lip and waited for the interrogation to start. At her feet was her bag, which held her passport, money, and a few clothes. She’d never been on the run, and she didn’t know what to take with her.
“What’s going on, Bridge?” Beast asked, taking a seat. “What’s with all the changes?” He pointed at her hair and clothes.
“I’m not the same person you last saw. I grew up.”
“And got into trouble. Fine, you grew up, got a pair of tits, an ass, and an attitude. What trouble you in?”
“I worked for a guy Francis Cole; you ever heard of him?” He shook his head. “You might know him as Francis Cole-Rodriguez.” She saw him tense.
“I know him. What I want to know is how you know him, and how the fuck you came to work for a guy involved in the fucking mafia!”
