“I think it’s time for me to go back to work, talk to ya later,” says Bella, walking down the hall to go and see what her primo needs.

“I need to go and talk to Tony, I’ll be right back,” says Jessy, walking out to review a few packages, since Paty is with Monique.

“Monique, I’m so feliz for you. Can you give me the information on where you went to get married in Vegas,” asks Paty, as she closes the door so nobody could hear. She turns to talk to Monique.

“Do you plan on eloping?” asks Monique, with curiosity.

“Si, and promise me you will keep it a secret. I’m eloping with my novio on Friday after work. I want the place that you and Chris went to, so we can make arrangements,” says Paty, with a dreamy look.

“Si Paty, I will give you the name of the hotel. It’s the Paris Hotel. Chris had the concierge arrange everything for us. Her name is Mary Jones. Have her arrange everything for the wedding at the chapel like she did for us and Ricky. It was so beautiful. The photos and cd are also great. She had gowns, wedding rings, and lingerie to select from,” says Monique smiling. “My Baby selected our rings. I don’t know if it will be cost effective to purchase the rings here. I don’t have a clue how much Chris spent.”

“Okay, we will call and make arrangements,” says Paty, extremely excited, smiling. “Monique, promise not to say a word to anyone,” she looks at Monique, who nods in agreement. Si, I know that she will keep my secret, thinks Paty, smiling.

“Gracias, prima,” says Paty, hugging Monique. “I need to go back to work. If you need anything, just call me. I will email you my cell and home number, okay?” says Paty smiling, walking out to finish her work.

Paty gets back to work quickly. She sends Monique her numbers. I

need to call the hotel. No I better have Carlos do that. I will just get the numbers, thinks Paty, with felicidad.

  Chapter Seventeen

“Mama, I’m home” says Monique, walking into her room starting to get undress to put on some shorts and button up shirt. I better not tie up my hair, thinks Monique, looking at her neck in the mirror, smiling.

Turning, she looks for her wedding album to look at her baby. She sits on her bed looking at Christian on their wedding day, tracing his face and lips with her finger. I miss him, thinks Monique, feeling a huge ache in her heart. Her eyes started to water. I want my Baby here with me now. I still have tons of hours to go. How am I going to survive all the weeks to come until he’s off his duty?

Her cell phone rings, she quickly answers. “Hola,” says Monique breathlessly, praying its Christian.

“My Cielo, I love you. What are you doing?” asks Christian, with curiosity, looking out the window thinking of her.

“I miss you,” says Monique, trying to control her tears putting her head against her pillow. She hears him swear. “I’m okay, Baby.”

Monique sits up and takes a deep breath, not wanting to distress him anymore. “I was just being a baby,” says Monique, smiling. “I love you, te amo mucho.”

“My Cielo, please don’t cry. I will be home on Friday morning. I will be going to your casa in the morning,” says Christian, smiling, thinking about seeing her again and holding her close.

“No Baby, I will not cry. I’m counting the minutes until I see you again. Your familia was really nice to me at work. All of them came to say hi. Your hermana Bella asked if I wanted to go and meet your mama this week. Bella says that your mama wants me to go. Baby, I told her that I wanted to check with you and see what you wanted me to do?” says Monique, smiling, thinking of seeing him soon.

“Baby, if you want to go and meet mis padres this week that will be okay with me. I want you to do whatever makes you feel more comfortable. If you want to wait until I take you to my casa that will be okay,” says Christian, smiling. Oh yeah, that’s how my familia is. They will be taking care of my Cielo when I’m away, thinks Christian.

“My Cielo, I need you to take a photo of our wedding pictures and send them to my cell phone so I can see you. I can’t wait to have you in my arms and to make love to you,” says Christian, grinning.

“Baby, I want to be in your arms all day on Friday,” replies Monique, smiling. Oh yeah, I want mucho besos and to make love.

“Cielo, you’re killing me. You’re tempting a poor hombre that can’t touch you right now. That’s not right,” says Christian, moaning, adjusting his shaft.

“Baby, I want to lick every single inch of your body and especially my favorite parts,” replies Monique, grinning wickedly.

“Cielo, you really need to stop otherwise I’m going to explode with need,” whispers Christian.

“Okay Baby, only if you promise to be here early on Friday. I want you to make love to me within moments of you being here. I need you,” says Monique with a whimper. She turns on the stereo so her hermanas wouldn’t hear her conversation with her esposo.

“Si, mi Cielo, you know it, I’m on it,” says Christian, moaning into the phone with his need.

“Okay, when you’re here on Friday, I want to make love all day. I want you to make arrangements for me to be off on Friday so we can be together every single minute that your home,” says Monique, grinning. Oh yeah, we will have all day to make love.

“Oh si, mi Cielo that sounds awesome, it’s a great idea. Let me call Bella and I’ll tell her,” says Christian, looking at Gabriel standing in front of him. “I will call you back.”

“Okay, Baby, I’m going to eat dinner. Have you eaten? What will you eat?” asks Monique, worried for her Christian.

“I will have dinner with Gabriel right now,” says Christian. He grins, enjoying her concern for him, ignoring Gabriel’s laughter.

“Baby, I’m serious. I want you to eat well because I want you to be healthy forever,” says Monique, smiling at his picture. “Call me back in about an hour or so.”

“Okay, I will call you back in an hour,” agrees Christian, smiling. I will call her before I fall asleep, oh yeah.

  “Baby, te amo,” says Monique.

“My Cielo, te amo,” replies Christian, in a husky whisper. They end the call. He smiles, thinking of talking to her later.

Christian turns to look at Gabriel grinning at him. “I see that she has you wrapped around her little pinky. She must be hot or else you wouldn’t have married her,” he moves quickly, just in time to avoid his fist.

“Yeah, she’s perfect. Wait until she sends me our wedding pictures,” says Christian, looking at his cell phone as one picture pops in and more start coming in. He smiles and shows Gabriel his esposa. “This is Monique, my esposa,” he shows Gabriel with pride.

“Wow, Chris, she is bella,” says Gabriel, looking at the belleza that his brother in law married in a hurry. He returns his cell phone.

“I’m just waiting to get the okay form our CO on my terminal leave. I should be out in October,” says Christian, grinning with felicidad. Damn, oh yeah, that’s only a few more months.

“Chris, that’s great, I should try to get my terminal leave. I know that my sweet angel will be feliz,” says Gabriel, thinking of his angel.

“So, are you taking her home with you? Did her padres allow this?” asks Gabriel, with curiosity.

“Si, my Cielo’s padres want me to take her home with me. They also want me to set the church ceremony. I’m feliz that she’ll be in my casa while I’m on duty,” says Christian, looking at his amigo.

“What about you, are you leaving Erica with mis padres until you’re off duty?” asks Christian, walking out of the building going to get some dinner.

“Yes, I want Erica to stay with your padres. Mis padres are in San Jose and she will not know the area or my familia that well. She’s also working until the bebe comes,” says Gabriel, realizing he just messed up. He turns to look at Christian, expecting him to be pissed off.

“I knew she got pregnant. I told you, asshole,” says Christian, shaking his head with anger. “Good thing that the wedding is in a few days.”
<
br />   “Yeah, you’re right,” says Gabriel, smiling, immensely feliz.

“Congrats, hermano, even if I should kill you,” says Christian, smiling, knowing now how it feels.

“Yeah, you should,” replies Gabriel, grinning, not regretting getting his angel pregnant.

“I’m immensely feliz,” says Gabriel, shaking his head. Who would have known a few weeks ago that I would be a papa and esposo, thinks Gabriel.

“Gabriel, I know how you feel. I know that my Cielo is pregnant. I can feel it,” says Christian, grinning, holding his dinner plate.

“Our bebe’s will grow up together and that’s awesome,” says Gabriel, smiling at his amigo and now hermano.

“Yes, we will be changing diapers by the New Year and working at the familia company,” says Christian, muy feliz. His life is turning out great.

“Yeah, everything is turning out great for us,” says Gabriel, eating and thinking of his sweet angel.

“You know Chris, it doesn’t help that you look alike, you make me miss her,” says Gabriel, smiling.

“Well, we’re not alike, so stay away,” says Christian, furiously sliding away from him.

“I’m just kidding,” says Gabriel, grinning with enjoyment. He loves seeing how effortlessly he gets Chris pissed off.

“Ya, ya,” says Christian, finishing his meal, thinking of calling his Cielo. After dinner, Christian walks off to make his call. First I need to call Bella and tell her that I need my Cielo off on Friday.

“Hola hermano,” says Bella, in a hurry getting ready for her date.

“Hola hermana, I’m calling to let you know that I’m on leave on Friday thru Sunday. I want to spend my time off with my Cielo. I want her off also. Will that be a problema?” asks Christian, knowing full well it will not.

“No hermano, no problema. I’ll tell Jessy and Jose Enrique. Congrats, hermano, I’m so feliz for both of you. Monique is a fantastic chica,” says Bella, smiling.

“Si, hermana, my Cielo is everything I ever wanted and more,” says Christian. “Thank you and los primos for making her feel welcome.”

“No problema hermano, we know that you would want us to be there for her. You know we love you,” says Bella. “Hermano, I have a date with the one. I have to let you go.”

“Make sure he is the one, hermana,” says Christian, with concern. “I want to meet him on Friday.”

“Okay, hermano, will do,” replies Bella, grinning. “Adios.”

Well, I have to check out this Chico, thinks Christian with concern. I have to call my Cielo. He walks back to his dorm. Christian goes to his bed and sits down waiting for her to pick up.

“Hola, Baby, did you eat your dinner?” asks Monique with concern. “I love you, te amo.”

“My Cielo, I did have my dinner and I love you,” replies Christian. “I only have a few minutes to talk.”

“Si Baby, I understand. Did you tell Bella about Fri,” asks Monique, thinking about all the time that she will be spending with her Baby.

“Si, Cielo, I did and everything is okay. I want to spend all day Friday in your arms,” says Christian, smiling, thinking of making love to her.

“Baby, I do too and on Friday we can take care of our errands,” says Monique, smiling. “I want to have the rest of the weekend to ourselves.”

“Baby, I want you to pack what you want to take with you for now. I want to be sure that you have everything that you need,” says Christian, thinking of all of the nice lingerie that he bought her. “Don’t forget the nice lingerie that I bought you. I want to see you in it.”

“Oh, Baby, I cannot wait to make love to you,” says Monique, turning on the stereo in case her hermanas walked by.

“My Cielo, you’re killing me and you know it,” replies Christian, moaning turning over to his side to adjust himself. Good thing that the other SEALs are still out.

“Baby, dream of me and remember that te amo,” says Monique, smiling with pleasure, recognizing his need in his husky voice.

“Si, my Cielo, I will. You dream of me loving you,” says Christian, with a husky voice.

“Buenas noches, my Baby, and dios te bendiga,” replies Monique, trying not to cry.

“My Cielo, te amo, I will be there soon,” says Christian, looking at the SEALs that are walking into the room. “I have to go. I’ll call you manana.”

“Si, Baby, manana,” says Monique, ending the call with a sigh, looking at their photos. I need to pack and I’ll wait until my Baby takes me to his casa to meet his padres, thinks Monique.

  Chapter Eighteen

Monique rises and goes to work enjoying the fact that she has a great job and a great esposo. I love his familia. They’re so sweet, thinks Monique, walking into the office.

“Good morning, Jessy,” says Monique, smiling going to her after putting her purse in her desk. “Is there anything you want me to start on today?”

“Si, Monique, I want you to start reviewing all the packages that we have to offer our clients. I want you to be familiarized with the products and our suppliers. Monique, we need to get this department running smoothly,” smiles Jessy, looking at Monique. “Both of us are part of la familia and the company. I will be getting married at the end of July. We will most likely be having our bebe’s about the same time. Jose Enrique and I were discussing the fact that we will be out more often than not in the next six to eight months,” says Jessy, smiling, blushing, and looking at Monique.

“Si, Jessy, your right. I just didn’t think about my marriage and bebe affecting my job,” says Monique, blushing.

“I know what you mean. I never dreamed that I would be getting married and having a bebe,” replies Jessy, sitting down. “Jose Enrique suggests that we hire another Interior Decorating Design assistant because we will be out often. I know I will. I know that when my bebe is born, I wouldn’t want to leave him.”

“I haven’t thought about the bebe and his needs. I will talk to Christian and see what he wants,” says Monique, sitting down to work.

“Do you think it’s a great idea hiring another Interior Decorating Design assistant? I don’t want you to feel that we’re replacing you,” says Jessy, looking at Monique with concern.

“I think that’s the best decision, Jessy. We might have our bebe’s at the same time. I need to talk to Christian about my job. Jessy, maybe we can take turns coming in during the week to monitor the new assistant after the bebe’s are born. I don’t know, it’s just a thought,” says Monique, looking at Jessy.

“Monique, that’s a great idea and maybe we can do half days or rotate days. I don’t know, but it will be an option. We wouldn’t be giving up our dream of our career. Maybe we don’t want a career after the bebe’s are born,” says Jessy, looking at Monique.

“Monique I need you to keep my pregnancy quiet. We’re not married yet and it will cause issues,” says Jessy, blushing.

“Don’t worry, Jessy, no worries,” says Monique, blushing because she also slept with Christian before marrying.

Hmmm, I didn’t think about after the bebe is born. Will I be able to leave my bebe? Does Christian want me to stay home and take care of our bebe? I need to discuss this with Christian, thinks Monique.

Monique works hard all day and then goes to lunch by herself. Jessy, Bella, and Paty are having lunch with their novios.

Monique arrives at her casa after work, tired. She starts to pack some of her stuff. I’m taking all of my new outfits and my favorite old clothes, thinks Monique, going through her closet.

Her Hermana, Gabriella, walks into her room to help her. “Hermana, I’m going to miss you,” says Gabriella, trying not to cry. “Your wedding happened so fast, that I didn’t have time to get used to you having a novio, and much less having an esposo.”

Monique grins at her hermana with laughter in her eyes. “Gabriella, it’s not like I’m moving far. It’s just around the corner,” says Monique, smiling. “Besides, I’ll be visiting you and you will be visiting me.”
r />   “Okay, maybe I’m over reacting,” replies Gabriella, grinning.

“Mis hijas, dinner is ready,” says Mama Ana.

“I’m hungry,” says Monique. She has dinner and chats with her familia.

After dinner, Monique returns to her packing and waits for Christian to call. The cell rings and Monique answers, closing her door.

“Baby, I miss you,” says Monique, pouting, wanting with all of her heart to feel him in her arms. “I want to make love to you.”

“My Cielo, you’re killing me and I’ll be home in forty-eight hours,” says Christian, grinning with felicidad. Oh yeah, it’s getting closer to when I see her.

“Christian, you’re not funny,” replies Monique, not at all happy about knowing how many more hours. “It seems like forever to me.”

“I know, my Cielo. I’m dying to be there with you,” replies Christian in a husky voice.

“Baby, I was talking to Jessy today at work. She says that Jose Enrique thinks that it will be a great idea to hire another Interior Decorating Design assistant. They feel that we will be out real often in the next six to eight months with the bebe’s. I told her that it sounds like a great idea. I didn’t think about the bebe’s needs and care. Baby, do you want me to take care of our bebe or do you want me to return to work? I don’t know how I’ll feel about leaving our small bebe? I don’t think that I will want to leave our bebe. I also told her maybe we can take turns going in half days or rotating days as an option. Baby, what do you think?” ask Monique, gazing at his picture.

“My Cielo, you’re right. I haven’t thought that far ahead. I can understand the thought process of hiring another assistant to fill in when one or both of you are absent. I definitely want you to take care of our bebe. I know that your career is important. I don’t want to ask you to give it up, but I know that our bebe will be small. Our bebe will need you. I will be working. I have enough money and will earn enough money to support my familia” says Christian, totally a macho Mexicano.
