"No, I do not blame you for wanting to know. Trust me, it was your closeness than made it happen. I felt the heat, the intense emotions. At the time, I was unsure why I felt so strongly all of a sudden. Once I realized my uxormea had burst, there was not even a shred of doubt in my mind that you caused it to happen. Trust me." He went to touch her face then held himself back.

"I do trust you," she replied. Treasure reached out and guided his hand toward her face where it had been going.

His face softened, practically glowed with happiness. A rigid facade melted away and he was the warm, loving Hjott who she'd spent intimate times with. He was just maintaining a professional exterior while he waited for her to make her mind up then.

"It must have been hard for you to wait, not knowing how I felt about your proposition," she told him softly.

"It was what needed to be done." He was gentle cupping her cheek with his massive palm. It must have looked kind of silly for such a big hand to be on her relatively tiny face.

"I am not going to try to claim you," he said.

  "What, why? I mean. Okay."

"You ... would want me to?" he asked coyly.

That kind of unsureness was not suited to the strong willed military commander. He was the one in charge of one of the greatest armies in the known universe. How could he possibly be reduced to a person filled with this kind of doubt? All because of her. It was flattering. Treasure felt herself fill with excitement at the idea of it.

"I will let you make the decision," he said. Playing hard to get really wasn't what she'd been expecting. But she could play that game.

Treasure stepped forward, came so close their body's warmth mingled together. Their body's scents combined, and she inhaled deeply. They really did have something strong that no one else could bring to their possible partnership. She didn't know though. Fate should not be allowed to decide who she was going to be with for the rest of her life.

Still, Treasure couldn't resist kissing him. He returned the kiss without any hesitation at all. A deep groan escaped him, vibrating out through his chest and throat. It made his lips resonate, which in turn tickled her lips a tiny bit.

The mighty Hjott soon picked her up and held her close to him. He walked her over to the bed and put her down on it, on her back. Then he lowered himself slowly down over her and continued to kiss her. He didn't have her pegged down, but his arms were extended out on either side of her as though he were doing an awkward push up.

It felt so safe and taken care of to be beneath him like that. He wasn't putting any of his own body weight on her, but they were pressed slightly together. The warmth became heat, and it made her chest start to feel hot. Treasure imagined his uxormea glowing between them as they continued to make out.

It all came to her in an instant. The moment had been building up, but that was the culmination of days. And a lot of strong emotions, mixed with something that just might have been fate. That or biology masquerading as fate. What was the difference really? It was undeniable either way. "Wait," she said suddenly.

"Am I hurting you?" he asked, lifting himself up and taking a position leaning on one arm on his side. They were still close to each other. He was half leaning over her.

"No," she said with a laugh. "I know you wouldn't, not even on accident."

"What is it then?" His uxormea was now fulling displayed to her, glowing blue and true. The idea that it was all for her made Treasure's heart melt.

"I love you," she plainly said. There was no reason to add anything else in that moment, surely.

"Treasure, I love you too." As though he knew she didn't want to keep talking and ruin to moment with more words, he started to move downward. Taking up a kneeling position on the floor before the bed, he slid off her pants. Without taking his time, he then removed her underwear. He was like a hungry beast who didn't have time to savor the moment. Didn't even care to try.

His eyes spied her sweet spot, and they lit up brighter than ever. He was seeing something that he knew now was his and his alone. The enormous Hjott warrior's golden skin was almost glowing in the soft lighting of the luxurious quarters. He was starting to sweat slightly too, which must have been from excitement. There was no way he would ever break a sweat without putting out an extreme amount of physical exertion.

His tongue worked all kinds of magic. How a man who'd never had a woman before her could intrinsically know just how to touch her? Treasure could not figure that out. She knew he'd never been with anyone else before though. It was just pure fate. They were really meant to be together.

"Oh, wow," she let out. Treasure started to wriggle her hips around. Not wanting to make his job of hitting just the right spot harder, she tried to control her ecstatic writhing. That was easier said than done though. The big, muscular Hjott was so skilled at tiny, delicate movements. Even his tongue was able to do things that should have required to skills of an expert lover.

Once she had climaxed and was covered in sweat from moving around so much and breathing heavily, Oszul moved back onto the bed. He lay beside her and kissed her. She could taste herself on his lips, only mixed with his aromatic saliva. Everything about him was enticing to her. She realized that was one reason she'd been keeping her distance from him since they'd been reunited. There was no way shew could think clearly otherwise. Not while up against such a powerful physical pull toward him.

"Please make love to me," she said. "I want you to be my first time."

He rolled onto his side to face her and their gazes locked. Treasure swooned and couldn't believe how good she felt in that moment. He said softly, with a firm and deep voice, "I am sorry, but I will not do that..."

  "What?"

"Not yet, I meant to say. You need some time first. So you can be sure that you really want to be mated by me. It is not a decision to be taken lightly. Once we are mated, it would practically destroy me if you chose to leave me."

"I won't leave you, not ever. I promise. Don't you trust me as well? You asked me before, I trust you. Well, do you?" She was starting to feel very rejected. The idea that a guy would ever reject her like that hadn't occurred to her.

"This is causing me as much frustration as you," he said. Looking down at the huge bulge in his pants, he added, "It might be harder for me, in fact. But I want you to be completely sure. Is that alright?" The look on his face was concerned, but she could see the passion banked in his eyes.

"I guess so..." she said with a sigh and then smiled up at him as he leaned down and kissed her, before cuddling her into his side.

  Chapter 17

  Oszul

Arthexei was a tropical type of planet. It would be a welcome change of environment from first the ship and the frozen mountain region of the planet Vurt. Once they landed, Oszul instructed his men to split up on land monitors. He told them to travel to the other side of the tiny planet and spy on the escaped prisoners.

"It is imperative they do not know we are here. Is that understood?" he said with a stern, commanding voice.

His men understood perfectly well. They also knew that failure to stay under the enemy's radar would result in punishment. They were on the cusp of success, but there was also the very real chance of failure now. He couldn't allow that to happen.

Oszul remained behind on the Scorpius. He planned to set up a beacon. "This will allow the incoming reinforcement ships to identify our whereabouts," he told Treasure.

She was staying on the ship with him too. That was for her own safety. It was also so he could spend some alone time with her. It was just a perk of being the commander of the Jatra military, he told himself.

He and Treasure worked together to install the beacon in the semi-hard dirt of the warm area outside the ship. There was a pleasant warmth to the air that felt so much more real than the cold, sterile environment of the ship. It was almost like being on vacation.

"Won't the terrorists be able to pick up the beacon's signal?" she asked as they positioned the tall, metallic object i
nto place.

"Not from this side of the planet. Also, the signal is encrypted. I am confident those Terud scumbags don't have the technology required to decode it, or the skill for that matter. They also don't know that we had men on Vurt keeping a look out for where they headed. We should have the element of surprise completely." He finished setting up the beacon and turned it on. Things were working fine. "Okay, that's done. What would you like to do now?" he asked.

"Well, I can think of one thing," Treasure said with a teasing smile on her face. "But you don't want to do that thing, do you?"

"Please, Treasure, I already said that—"

"Hey, it's fine. I'm only teasing you. Try to lighten up a little. This is such a beautiful planet after all." She stretched her arms out and embraced the warmth glow in the sky. The gentle breeze made her long, luscious hair dance in a delicate motion. She was so beautiful. Resisting her was proving to be exceedingly difficult. Oszul had incredible willpower though, and he was dedicated to giving her time to make a proper decision. He did not want himself to be mated to a woman who might change her mind later. That would be such a cruel fate, he might as well just be mated to a Hjott woman who would likely die long before him.

"We can rendezvous with the reinforcement ships from Jatra thanks to this beacon."

"I guess we've done our part then," said Treasure. "I still feel like we should be doing more though. While the others are off traveling to the other side of the planet and spying on the enemy, I mean."

Oszul stopped and looked at her. "You have done a great deal for the mission. And as commander, I feel I have the right to enjoy a little time with my prospective mate."

"Oh, is that so? I see what you planned now," she said with a grin.

"I did not plan anything. The beacon needs to be set up and monitored by someone trustworthy. I have always been told that if you want a job done best—"

"You have to do if yourself. We have that saying too where I come from." She stepped closer and took his hands in hers. "Well, this is a lovely place. Do you think you could show me around?"

"That would be my pleasure," he told her. Her smile was the loveliest thing he had ever seen. It was wonderful to be able to see it again now. "There is no chance of danger at the moment. I will give you a tour of the local flora and fauna."

"I do love some flora and fauna," she replied. He was still having a hard time getting used to the jovial and joking nature of the Terrans. They had landed in a small clearing. The semi-packed dirt ground was covered with a light mossy type of purple grass. The soil itself was a deep brown and burgundy color.

"Come this way," he said. He took Treasure's hand and led her away from the ship. There was a small group of trees that ran away from the larger area of jungle nearby. It was a safe place to look around without going to deep into the wilderness. He did not want to put her in any danger.

"This reminds me of the jungles I've seen from Terra, in pictures I mean. Only, well this is also quite different in a lot of ways." They were walking hand in hand. Oszul felt like this was the first time they'd truly gotten to be together. There was no stress from the mission involved. The climate was nice. They weren't in danger.

"Tell me how it differs," he told her.

"Well, for starters, there is no purple grass like this. I wish I could walk barefoot through it." She stopped and stooped down to run her hand through the grass. "It's kind of fuzzy. This feels so good."

"We do have similar grass on Jatra, in some areas."

"Oh really? Well, oh look at that!" Treasure stopped touching the grass and stood up quickly. She had a look of surprise on her face that bordered on shock. "That creature is huge!"

"Oh, you mean the uylo lizard over there? They are particularly large, aren't they?" It was green, purple, and had yellow streaks running over it. They were almost like lighting.

"I can't believe it's real. Look how long it is. That tail could wrap around me twice I'll bet. Even around you twice maybe."

It was wonderful to see her so happy. The way she reacted to all the different plants, trees, and creatures was refreshing. It reminded him how important it was to let himself relax like this.

"You really help me to see life in a different way," he told her.

"You mean because I'm making such a big deal about a bunch of grass and a lizard?" she said shyly.

Oszul was taken aback. "Oh, I did not mean that in a bad way. It is very, very good. You are like a missing piece in the puzzle of my life ... That must sound stupid."

"It really doesn't," she said. The lizard had been basking in the warm sunlight, but it now saw them nearby. Treasure walked over and kissed Oszul. It was just a closed lip kiss, but the romantic intention was strong. "Oh!" she cried out as the giant lizard skittered away.

"I suppose we scared it," he said.

"Well, that makes two of us. Oh, wow. Now those are more like the things I've seen in pictures of Terra."

She was pointing at a flock of birds mingling among the tangled branches of a tall tree. The huge leaves hung down around the branches like they were little rooftops for the birds.

"So pretty," she said. "I don't think I could even count all the colors on them."

  "You could try?"

"Red, yellow, orange, green, blue, and I don't even know if I've seen any color quite like that one. And look how long the beak is on that one! Are these even all the same kind of bird? It's hard to tell, there's so much variety in the whole group." There were at least fifty birds in the one gigantic tree. It had to be a favorite social spot for the local birds.

"They seem to be having a very nice time," said Oszul.

He was feeling calm and satisfied with his life. He wasn't even worrying about whether or not Treasure would choose him to mate her. He wasn't worrying about the mission either. There was a nagging guilt in the back of his mind about that. He was the commander; he was in charge of the mission. This was not something that he should be doing. Letting his guard down could result in great disaster, not just for himself, but also for his officers—and most importantly for the woman he now loved.

He just could not allow that nagging doubt to surface and make itself a nuisance though. He was having too much of a good time. They walked along, with Treasure becoming more excited at each new type of plant, tree, or animal they encountered.

They came to an opening amidst the trees. It was a large clearing where the binary suns were able to shine down at a perfect angle. Even with the trees surrounding them where they stood together, there were no shadows. Treasure looked up and reached her hands to touch the lowest dangling leaves of the winding trees around them. They shimmered in the sun's rays as she gently played with them.

"I feel better than I have in, well, maybe ever. This is the most magical place. It reminds me of the stories my mother used to read to me when I was young. We call them fairy tales. Do you have anything like that?"

"I am not sure what a fairy tale is," Oszul replied.

"They're, kind of like myths, I guess. Only sometimes they're just completely made up with no historical grounding."

"Ah, are they the kind of story that children enjoy then?"

"Yes, well, adults still like them too. I still like them. They often had things like true love, fated romance. Your uxormea reminds me of that."

Oszul put his hand to his heart, where he knew his uxormea was glowing its blue light beneath his uniform. He couldn't hold himself back anymore. She was too enchanting. He reached out and pulled her to himself. Close to his body.

"You are more magical than one of these fairy tales could possibly be. To me, you are like a goddess. I can't take it anymore. I have to know—do you truly wish to be mated to me?"

"Yes, I told you yes. And I know you wanted to wait until you were sure that I was sure. I promise you, Oszul, with every inch of my being. I am one hundred percent sure. I want to be your mate. Forever..."

"Then fate has made the right decision. We have to trust that."

"I do trust it. I trust you too. I love you."

"I will love you for the rest of my life, Treasure." He kissed her and lay her down on the soft, purple grass. Immediately he lowered himself down over her. He kissed her deeply, letting his tongue move slowly over her lips. As their tongues danced together slowly, he moved his hands all over her body.

"Let me take you as my mate right here, in this wonderful surrounding," he said.

"Take me." She breathed the words heavily, close to his ear as he kissed her neck.

The sensation made his long shaft stiffen completely. He could barely contain the amount of sexual energy that was inside him. Slipping her top over her shoulder, he looked down and admired her firm breasts. They jiggled as she lay on her back and moved her body around in the soft, purple grass.

"That feels amazing," she said. "Much better than just walking barefoot."

Next, he removed her shoes and socks, then her pants. In just a matter of seconds, he had her completely naked. "You are amazing. How such a perfect body could exist, I have no idea."

"Do I compare favorably to Hjott women?" she asked.

  "There is no comparison."

Treasure reached down and put her hand down the front of his pants. "There is something I've been dying to do," she said. She unzipped him and took him out completely. "I haven't been able to stop thinking about your dick."

"It is all yours now," he replied proudly. He knew he has a larger than average penis. It shone brightly in the midday light of the two suns. He stood up and dropped his pants, kicking them away. Then he threw his shirt from his body. His uxormea was glowing its blue light of fated love. "This shines for you and you only," he told her.

"And what about this?" she asked, moving onto her knees before him. She gestured at his dick, which was in her hands. She was able to wrap two hands around it at the same time. As she moved it around in the sunlight, it shimmered and seemed to glow with gold. "This really is a treasure," she said with a sly chuckle. "It's even gold." With that, she took the end of it in her mouth and moaned sensually.
