The WindWard Wolves (WindWard Triad Book 3) Page 11

by Noah Harris

Johnny leaned forward, taking the head of Ash’s cock into his mouth and sucking gently. The taste of Ash’s cock sent another shiver of pleasure through him. Running his tongue along the underside of Ash’s cock brought a shiver to Ash’s body, and Johnny chuckled as he heard his friend and lover moan softly.

So many times in the past nine months, Johnny had gladly sat to one side and watched as Kell took Ash’s cock into his mouth, and then throat. He’d loved to watch as Kell eased himself down, hungry to take Ash completely. Without interfering, Johnny had greedily absorbed every expression of pleasure that shot across Ash’s face, listened to Kell’s desperate moans as Ash filled his throat. Never once had Johnny allowed himself to do the same, even as much as he’d wanted to, knowing on some level it would cross the barrier he’d unconsciously set for himself. Ash had never moved past that line, as if some unspoken agreement kept them in their place.

Now though, Johnny drove over the line with eager abandon. He’d always loved listening to his partner go crazy with pleasure as he sucked them deep, and he’d always loved Ash’s cock. His mind was filled with the thrill of feeling Ash’s cock slide over his tongue and into the squeeze of his throat as he pushed forward. It was the realization of every fantasy he’d had years before, and every desire he’d denied himself since they’d been reunited.

Ash’s hand gripped tight onto Johnny’s hair as the large man groaned. Johnny inched his way forward, thinking he’d never had someone quite as thick as Ash before. Ash’s cock throbbed against his tongue, welcoming the feel of it stretching his throat as he took Ash even deeper. His took his time, reveling in the desperate moans Ash gave as Johnny allowed him to move even deeper.

Then, his nose pressed against Ash’s hips, with the whole length of Ash’s cock embedded in his throat. Ash’s breathing had become almost panting as his girth was squeezed and massaged by Johnny’s throat muscles. Johnny eased back, finding a breath through his nose, as he felt the head of Ash’s cock slip from his throat and move over his tongue. The taste of Ash’s leaking head ran over his taste buds once again and Johnny let out a moan of his own.

Unsurprisingly, he felt Ash’s hips jerk forward, eager to move but held back by Ash’s sheer willpower. Eager and confident, Johnny drove his mouth forward, taking Ash to the back of his throat in one motion to prove he could. Pain and pleasure sparked from the sudden fierce grip Ash had on his hair, causing Johnny to take hold of Ash’s thighs with equal enthusiasm. Ash took the hint however and began to move his hips, his eyes never leaving Johnny’s face as he slid his cock back, only to push forward once again.

Just as they’d found their rhythm together on the dance floor, and had moved as one during their kiss, the two of them found their shared motion once more. Johnny moved his lips forward to meet Ash’s thrusts, sliding his tongue along the underside of Ash’s shaft. When they moved apart, Johnny nursed gently, swiping the sensitive head before diving forward again.

Above him, Ash’s face was the picture of utter pleasure. His eyes were half-shut, his mouth parted as he gasped and moaned. Every time he sank completely into Johnny’s throat, his legs quivered from the rush of pleasure. Johnny reached into his pants, freeing his own cock from its painful prison. He let loose a vibrating moan that jerked a gasp from Ash.

Johnny allowed himself to lean back, still holding Ash’s thigh with one hand, the other jerking his own cock. Pleasure rippled through his limbs as he stroked himself, as Ash drove his cock forward. Johnny watched Ash’s face, soaking up the look of bliss he could see there, feeling it reverberate through his own body. Already, he could feel his legs stiffening, a tightening in his gut signaled his imminent release just as Ash’s strokes became erratic.

Ash’s mouth dropped open, a low, throaty noise rising from his lips as he pushed forward. Johnny felt his cock pulse in his throat, with Ash’s body going rigid above him. Using what little room he had behind him, Johnny pulled back, allowing Ash to spill over his tongue. Ash swore vehemently as Johnny closed his mouth over the sensitive head, moaning with abandon as he sucked down each pulse.

Johnny’s greedy motions stopped as his back arched, ecstasy surging through him. His own cock jerked in his hand, spilling over his fingers and out onto the ground. Warmth trickled over his face as Ash’s cock slipped out of his mouth, giving one last pulse of cum onto his lips and chin. Johnny cried out, unable to contain himself as he was lost in the pure bliss of his orgasm.

When it was done, Johnny was left gasping for air, slumped against the wall of the townhouse. Ash was huddled over top of him, his dark eyes gleaming with the lazy pleasure of post sexual bliss. Slowly, Ash dropped to his knees in front of Johnny, holding his face between his hands and staring intently. Johnny tilted his face up, sweeping his gaze over Ash’s flushed face, his swollen lips.

When Ash leaned forward, Johnny chuckled as the man ran his tongue over where the last shot of his orgasm had landed on Johnny’s face. The laugh turned into a weak moan when Ash kissed him immediately after, the taste of him filling Johnny’s mouth again. He was still too weak from his orgasm to feel more than a half-hearted twitch from his cock, but his mind reeled from the casually erotic gesture. His body sung with the pleasure that had filled him moments before, and he couldn’t wait to try even more with his best friend, partner, and lover.

  “Tease,” Johnny said hoarsely.

Ash nuzzled their foreheads together. “That was one of the sexiest, hottest things I have ever seen. I wonder what Kell will say when I tell him he has competition for the best blowjob.”

Johnny snorted. “Please, he’ll take it as a challenge and try to compete with me.”

“Which would really just be an excuse for him to watch you blow me. I have to say, it’s not a terrible idea, we’ll have to try it.”

Johnny let out a low laugh, bringing Ash in for another slow, deep kiss. It was liberating, to be able to kiss him and not be distantly worried about how it would be taken. He’d been afraid for so long about what Ash would say or do if he knew what Johnny felt for him, that he savored the post sex kiss for as long as he could.

“And now we are a true trio,” Johnny whispered.

Ash hummed happily. “Just like we should be.”

  “I miss him,” Ash admitted.

Johnny nodded. “Me too, but we’ll see him again, and we can tell him all about it.”

“He’s waiting for us, our children too. But I’m the luckiest man alive to know that, and to know that I have you right here beside me the whole way through. Whatever happens, we’ll have each other.”

Johnny smiled softly. “All the way through to the end, whatever it may be.”

As the warmth of the moment spread through him, Johnny became aware of something else. Just outside the small circle of happiness they made together, Johnny felt an overwhelming darkness. A crushing black that encircled them, rising up like a dome to cover them completely. From the widening of Ash’s eyes, Johnny realized he could feel it as well.

They moved, but Johnny knew they were too late. With his second sight, he watched the magic twist around them, not a dome, but the strings of a net that closed in on them. The darkness pressed into his mind, strangling his cry of rage and warning. He floundered, feeling Ash fighting beside him as they struggled to rip the net from them. Whatever magic had been used on them was too strong however, and Johnny felt his mind drift into darkness.

Together, he and Ash fell into the endless black of the magic.

  Ash

At first there was nothing but the dark, and a dim feeling of motion as Ash struggled to return to consciousness. Next came the pungent smell of gas, and the thick scent of old oil. Roughness scraped against his cheek, hardened dirt, and the grit of small pebbles trapped between his skin and a hard floor. He was cold, and Ash shivered as he tried to make sense of what was happening.

Then he snapped to alertness, jerking his limbs, panicking when he realized he was unable to move. A moment later, he realized he
wasn’t paralyzed, but simply bound. His wrists were tied together, and a test of his legs told him the same was true of his ankles. There was a blindfold shoved over his eyes, and a piece of tape on his mouth.

Taking a deep breath, Ash forced his heart rate to ease, and his breathing to settle. He focused on the environment around him, using his other senses. His body bounced, and with a roll of nausea through his gut, he realized they were on the move. From the smell and feel of the floor beneath him, he’d guess he was in the back of a large van.

Having figured out the barest idea of where he was, he tried to remember what happened. At first, he could remember only tendrils of darkness in the sky above him, forming a net he couldn’t possibly have hoped to slip through. Once they’d laced themselves tightly in the air around him, they’d thickened, covering him completely. It had been magic, and an ugly sort that drew from hate, and fed upon fear and pain.

Then he remembered, he’d been knelt next to Johnny, lost in a moment of pure happiness and hope. They’d been holding one another, all smiles and eagerness as they talked about the things to come. It had to have been the trio Ash had seen in his vision, having left the party sooner than Ash had anticipated. He cursed himself for allowing him and Johnny to get distracted, leaving them unprepared for the ambush.

Under the thick smell of gas, he could detect the familiar scent of iron and fertile earth. He strained his ears, listening in the direction of the source of the smell and heard deep, even breathing. They’d brought Johnny with him, and he was still out cold. Ash could only wriggle on the floor with his limbs bound so tightly and didn’t want to risk his captor’s ire just yet by trying to move across the floor.

Worse, he couldn’t feel the thrum of energy around him like he normally could. His attempts to reach out with his second sight to see Johnny’s aura, and those of the ones who’d captured them was met with only darkness and silence. They’d either marked him with a sealing sigil, or the bindings around his wrists and ankles were enchanted to lock down his magic.

Next, he tried to dig down deep, finding his inner wolf and trying to draw it out. While his wolf form was large, the ‘ankles’ and ‘wrists’ of the wolf were still skinnier than his own. If he transformed enough, he might be able to pull free of the restraints. Yet when he tried, the wolf didn’t come, although Ash could still feel its presence.

Whatever their captors had done, they’d been thorough in making sure he and Johnny wouldn’t be going anywhere. Ash would bet, with the level of preparation that had been used, even Johnny’s Blood Magic would be sealed off somehow.

Ash wasn’t quite finished yet, he knew a few workarounds for most sealing spells. For every attempt there was to lock someone out or in, there was always someone who found a way to break through. He imagined it was probably an expertise of Johnny’s, but Ash ran over the handful he knew.

All sense of magic outside him was cut off, leaving him unable to draw even the slightest hint of energy in order to overwhelm the sealing spell. Even the reserve of magic inside him turned out to be gone, completely drained by whatever had been used on him. Ash tried to push his mind outward, projecting his mind to travel and perhaps see something more than darkness, but like the wolf, his mind was grounded inside him.

No one had spoken a word, but he knew someone had to be driving the vehicle. He tried to track the motion of the van, hoping to perhaps memorize the patterns in case they needed to backtrack. Annoyance and frustration swept through him as the vehicle took turn after turn, sometimes feeling as if it were just circling blocks rather than headed to any one destination.

He grunted in surprise when the van came to a sudden halt, sliding him across the floor and against what felt like the rear doors. There came two thumps from the doors up front, and heavy footsteps just outside the van. Ash tensed, wishing he had his arms and legs free to give their captors a surprise. Instead, he had to wait patiently as the doors were flung open and someone grabbed hold of him.

Whoever had taken them had no real worry about what state they were in when they arrived. The one who grabbed him practically dragged him from the back of the van and let him fall to his knees. Ash would have fallen on his face if he hadn’t instinctively reached out, catching himself with his bound hands.

Another set of thumps and a grunt came from behind him. Ash smelled Johnny coming closer, but didn’t hear anything other than the heavy breathing of what sounded like two men. Their footsteps were heavy, and Ash guessed they were carrying Johnny off since he had yet to wake up.

For a moment, he thought he might have a chance. If he was able to spring up and catch one of the men unaware, he could have a fighting chance. Even with his legs and arms bound, he bet he was a far better fighter than any of the men around him. If they used magic he’d be screwed, but if he was quick, he could bring one of them down. The other would be trickier, but Ash had fought against impossible odds before.

The plan died when his sharp hearing heard the scuff of footsteps nearby. Someone he hadn’t heard a moment before was standing nearby and he’d bet they were watching him intently. While he might have been willing to make a break for it with two distracted men nearby, he wasn’t going to risk it while they had a sentry. He didn’t fear the pain, but he knew they probably weren’t too concerned about not maiming him. One failed escape attempt could cost him all future attempts.

He listened to the stomping feet grow quieter as Johnny was taken away. The air around him was thick with that same heavy smell of oil and gas. The chime of metal chains could be heard from some nearby place, and he could feel asphalt under his fingertips. From the smell of fuel, he was either near a garage, or some sort of dock.

Rough hands took hold of him under his shoulders on each side and yanked him to his feet. The bindings around his ankles made it impossible to walk at more than a slow shuffle. Ash had no doubt his captors were amusing themselves by forcing him to walk, which was confirmed when he heard a soft guffaw from somewhere behind him. Whoever they were, they were capable of moving lightly on their feet, other than the two bumbling men from earlier he’d barely heard any of them.

The blindfold around his face wasn’t thick enough to block out the change in light as they entered a room. He was forced to shuffle forward, and when he turned was given a hard shove. Ash gave a grunt as the back of his knees struck something and he fell backwards, hard. His head thumped against a metal plate as the rest of him fell into what felt like a large chair.

The bindings around his wrists were cut and before he could do anything, one of them was grabbed and shoved over the arm of the chair. Ash gave another grunt as a metal cuff wrapped around his wrist, holding it in place with a pinching grip. Snarling beneath the tape over his mouth, he lashed out with his other hand, and felt his fist collide with skin and bone. He never heard a cry, only a dull groan and the thump of a body hitting the floor. His satisfaction was shortly lived however, as something heavy and blunt slammed into the side of his face.

If there had been a room to see, it would have spun as Ash reeled back from the blow. He was aware that his arm was being held down much like the other, and that someone else was working on his feet. They didn’t quite move fast enough however, and Ash recovered enough to lash out with what he hoped was a swift enough kick. Another blow knocked him on the other side of his head, but not before he heard a crunch and a howl of pain. Warmth splattered his face as a third blow threatened to render him unconscious.

  “Enough.”

The voice came from further away, somewhere outside the circle of men who’d been tying Ash down. Even with the dizzy throbbing of his head, Ash could tell the voice was changed somehow. Dully, he wondered who would use a voice modulator to alter their voice for someone who was a prisoner. All Ash could tell was that it was a man’s voice, deep, and utterly in command.

Another voice, this one unchanged and thick, protested. “He broke my fucking nose!”

The modulated voice sounded unmoved. “Then you shoul
d have spent more time watching what you were doing, rather than screwing around. That you chose to underestimate him is your own fault. If you hit him again before I say, you will take his place.”

The room went deathly silent, save for the shuffle of receding footsteps from those around Ash. Whoever was in charge obviously commanded a great deal of respect, though Ash was willing to bet it was a lot of fear as well. He wasn’t sure if the leader would actually strap one of their own into the chair for whatever was awaiting Ash, but he didn’t doubt it either. This was either the Vigil, or the Cult who had gotten hold of him, and he had no doubt they could be as vicious to their own as they were to their enemies.

With his head beginning to clear, he found himself wondering what their aim was. That his captor wanted him conscious meant he was expected to talk. However, Ash wasn’t going to give them the satisfaction.

As if reading his thoughts, the tape was pulled away from his mouth. It wasn’t a hard motion, but it was enough to sting the sensitive skin around his lips. Ash worked his lips, taking a breath through his mouth and allowing himself to settle into the chair. If he was going to be here for a while, he might as well take what moments of comfort he could.

Silence stretched and Ash almost smirked, wondering if they were expecting him to talk. Their leader obviously knew enough about him to know Ash wasn’t one to be underestimated, and he wondered what else this man knew about him. He also found it curious that the lackeys didn’t have any alterations to their voices, but the man in charge certainly did. Ash couldn’t help but wonder if the leader was simply paranoid, or cautious enough to not want to risk being identified in case Ash did manage to escape.

“We have Keller Thorne,” the voice finally said.

Ash almost laughed but kept his face neutral and his lips unmoving. If that was their opening gambit, then it needed improvement. Even though he was quite new to his improved senses, Ash had absolute faith he would have smelled Kell if he’d been anywhere they’d taken him through. They didn’t have Kell, who while helpless on his own, was perfectly safe as he waited to give birth to their children with the guardianship of the other Wards around him. The voice had nothing, and they both knew it.
