“There is he!” I grabbed my best friend’s arm and pointed. “Beth, look!”

“I’m looking, but what am I looking at?” She turned her head in the direction I was pointing.

“That guy—he’s the mall Santa.” I grinned and dropped my hand before he looked my way and saw me pointing.

“Whoa, seriously? He’s hot as fuck.” Her eyes got wide and a grin slowly spread across her face.

“Yeah, well keep your eyes off him because he’s all mine.” I nudged Beth in the ribs.

“You’re the one who told me to look at him!” She grumbled under her breath. “Damn, he’s fucking delicious.”

I didn’t know the name of the guy that we were looking at, and the only thing that drew me to him was pure primal attraction. I fell head over heels in lust the instant I saw his gorgeous physique and beautiful ink while he was changing into his Santa suit behind the mall the previous weekend. He looked like he was more of a bad boy than Kris Kringle, and he made everything inside me light up like a Christmas tree. He could ring my jingle bells. Hell, he could pop my cherry—I sure as fuck couldn’t stop thinking about it. I wanted to lick him like a candy cane until our bodies were sizzling and the snow melted on contact. I had no intention of making the nice list before Christmas morning because I was feeling downright naughty.

“What’s he doing?” I took a few steps and peered around the edge of the Christmas tree that was sitting in the middle of the open area near the front of the mall.

“Showing us how incredible he looks in a pair of jeans?” Beth tilted her head to the side and let out a satisfied moan.

“Oh shit.” I moved around the Christmas tree so I could get a better look. “He’s going into a jewelry store.”

“He probably has a girlfriend—one that he buys diamonds for at Christmas,” Beth grumbled and shrugged. “So much for that.”

“No!” I stomped my foot angrily. “He can’t have a girlfriend. He’s too perfect to have a girlfriend. I’m supposed to be his Mrs. Claus!”

“Whoa, you’re already talking marriage? Girl, you got it bad.” Beth shook her head and laughed. “Come on, let’s finish our shopping.”

“Fine.” I let out a disappointed sigh and followed Beth into one of the nearby stores.

The mall Santa had stolen my heart and then stomped on it before I even got a chance to talk to him. I knew it was stupid to feel something for a guy I didn’t know, but I couldn’t control the fire that he lit in my soul the first time I saw him. I had never felt that kind of instantaneous attraction to anyone before, and he made me think dirty, filthy thoughts that no virgin should have. I didn’t even really understand what I was feeling, but it was stronger than any crush I had in high school. It was even stronger than the tingle I had when I sat down for my first college class and the star quarterback took the seat next to me. Those were just fantasies—lingering desires that never fully manifested. The mall Santa, with his ripped physique and a chiseled jaw that looked like it could cut steel, brought a desire to the surface that I didn’t even know I could have. Just thinking about him made my panties wet.

“I need a Dirty Santa gift.” Beth looked around the store. “I don’t think I’m going to find anything in here that will work.”

“Are you going to a party that you forgot to tell me about?” I tilted my head and raised my eyebrows.

“I wish.” Beth rolled her eyes. “My Dad’s family is coming to stay with us this year for Christmas and my parents want to try it since we’ll have so many people at the house.”

“Ah, well that should be interesting.” I nodded and smirked. “But, didn’t your Mom say that your Dad’s family is nothing but a bunch of drunks and perverts?”

“Yep!” She pursed her lips and nodded quickly. “I get to put a chair under the door when I shower so that none of my cousins walk in and accidentally see me naked.”

“Kissing cousins. How cute.” I winked and put my hands on my hips.

“Gross.” Beth shuddered and her face reflected disgust. “Let’s go to Spencer’s. They usually have decent gag gifts.”

“Sounds good.” I nodded and turned towards the door.

I didn’t have anything as interesting as a Dirty Santa party on the agenda for my Christmas break. My parents celebrated Christmas, but not like most families. As soon as I was old enough to know that my presents came from my parents instead of a mysterious sky wizard, they didn’t even bother wrapping them. Christmas morning was more like a business transaction than a celebration. The upcoming one was going to be even worse because my parents were going on a holiday cruise to the Caribbean and I was spending Christmas all by myself. Sometimes I wished my family was a little more festive, but it was all I had really known. I definitely didn’t plan to carry on the tradition once I had a family of my own. I was going to go full on fucking Griswold the first chance I got.

“So what kind of gift are you looking for?” I let my fingers trace the merchandise as we walked down the aisle.

“I don’t know exactly. I don’t want something that’s so dirty my mother drops her eggnog, but it needs to be fun.” Beth put her hands on her hips and narrowed her eyes as she scanned the shelves.

“How about Stressticles?” I picked up a box that had an image of a man having his balls squeezed.

“That might be a little too dirty.” Beth giggled and shook her head.

“A Fuck-a-Duck blowup doll?” I put the Stressticles down and picked up the inflatable duck sex toy next to them.

“Tempting—but still probably too dirty for my Mom. Plus, if one of my cousins got it, they might actually use it.” Beth rolled her eyes and shook her head again.

Most of the stuff in Spencer’s was on the dirty side, and the stuff that wasn’t was too tame. We browsed the aisles and ruled out stuff while laughing at every inappropriate thing we found. Beth’s Mom wasn’t a prude by any means, but she still went to church on Sunday and never stopped asking Beth’s Dad to go with her. He was the tamest member of his side of the family by far, but he was still the type of guy to drop an f-bomb at the dinner table and spike the eggnog when she wasn’t looking. I wished my parents were a lot more like them. Beth finally found something that was interesting enough to buy, a spin-the-shot drinking game that was fairly cheap. It would definitely make her Dad laugh,
and was tame enough for her Mom not to immediately blush when it was opened.

“Alright, I’m all set. Do you need to hit up any more stores before we leave?” Beth looked over at me once we walked out of Spencer’s.

“Nah, I think I’m good. Thank you for meeting me here.” I gave her a quick hug. “We need to get together again before we head back to college.”

“We will.” She nodded quickly when she broke from our embrace. “I still have to give you your Christmas gift.”

Oh shit, I haven’t bought her anything yet.

“Sounds good!” I did my best to hide the fact I had completely forgotten to buy her anything.

“I’m sorry things didn’t work out with your mall Santa boyfriend.” She looked over at me and grimaced. “He’s definitely hot though.”

“Yeah…” I nodded and sighed. “Oh well.”

Beth and I parted ways once we got to the exit. She started walking towards her car, and I pretended to walk to mine. Once she was out of sight, I turned towards the side entrance of the mall and headed back inside so I could get a gift for Beth. The path to the store I wanted to buy her something from took me past the mall Santa, and I was surprised to see him sitting on his chair with a line of kids waiting to take a picture with Santa Claus. We had just seen him shopping, so he must have changed into his costume pretty quickly. I paused for a moment, just to make sure it was the same guy, and I got confirmation as soon as I saw his gorgeous ocean-blue eyes peeking over the top of the comical white beard. There was no mistaking those—they had been burned into my thoughts since the first moment I saw him.

Okay, I can’t let him distract me. I need to grab a gift for Beth.

I spent some time browsing the store before settling on a nice gift for Beth. It was a Snow White Disney ornament that matched the rest of the ones she had been collecting since she was a little girl. She mentioned it a few times the previous year and was sure her parents would get it for her, but it was sold out by the time they made it to Hallmark. I was pretty sure they would do the same thing again, and she would end up with another Disney character she didn’t love as much as Snow White. It appeared to be pretty popular and there were only two on the shelf when I got it. I didn’t really want to bother with wrapping paper since I wouldn’t be wrapping the gifts I got for my parent, so I stopped by the kiosk in the middle of the mall that would wrap it for me. After that, I started heading back to the exit.

Santa is on break? He didn’t even spend an hour in his chair…

I was surprised to see that the mall Santa had already gone on break, but I shrugged it off and kept walking. It was a shame that I wouldn’t see him one last time before I left, but it seemed that fate was keeping us apart as much as the supposed girlfriend he was shopping for. Once I got outside, I pulled my jacket tight around my body and started walking towards my car. I deliberately chose a spot near the back of the mall because that was where I had first seen the mall Santa changing into his costume. I wasn’t going to be lucky enough to see him again since he was already in costume, but the chance was worth the extra wear on the soles of my shoes. When I got to the spot where my car was parked, I saw what appeared to be a Santa hat peeking over the edge of the dumpster near the back of the mall. I moved a little closer and heard two people talking.

Wait—is that him? Who is he talking to?

“Here, take the coat. Hurry up, we only have a few minutes before they’re expecting Santa to get back to work.” I heard a voice that sounded a little distressed.

“Fuck it’s cold.” I heard a voice that was similar, but a little different—it sounded more rugged.

“I know, I’m the one standing here without a shirt. Take the fucking coat so I can put one on.” The first voice echoed again.

What in the world is going on?

I walked a little closer, doing my best to remain undetected, and then my eyes nearly bulged out of my head. I was seeing double—but it was real. There were two gorgeous, hot-as-sin, beautifully inked men—and they were twins! Santa didn’t perform a Christmas miracle to get from the jewelry store to his chair, there were two of them. Based on what I heard and what I saw, I had to assume they were swapping places. A few seconds later, I had to duck back around the side of the mall to avoid being seen because a fully dressed Santa started walking towards the back entrance of the mall and the other guy headed into the parking lot. The one that headed to the parking lot rubbed his hands together and blew into them as he walked.

Okay, if there are two of them—maybe there’s still a chance that one of them is single. I might get to make the naughty list this year after all.

  Earlier that day

“I’ll take first shift today I guess.” My twin brother, Andy, picked up the Santa Claus costume and sighed. “I hate this shit.”

“Me too, but Dad needs our help.” I looked over at him and shrugged. “He never asks for anything, so we gotta do it.”

“I wanted to spend Christmas break getting hammered and going balls deep in some nice Georgia peaches—not wearing a Santa costume and pretending to like children.” Andy slid on the coat. “Meet me out back at four o’clock.”

“I’ll be there.” I nodded and picked up the television remote.

Andy and I never expected to spend our last Christmas break before we graduated from college wearing our father’s Santa Claus suit. The circumstances dropped the job in our lap, and we didn’t have a choice. Our Dad had been doing the Santa thing since he was our age. He inherited the suit from our grandfather, who was the Santa Claus to millions of children after playing the part in a lot of Hollywood movies in the 1960s. Outside of regularly appearing on the silver screen, the holy grail for any Santa impersonator was landing a gig at a mall. It took our Dad twenty-four years to finally get one of those spots after the Santa that used to work at the Mall of Georgia retired.

In early December, he started getting really sick anytime he ate, and a trip to the doctor revealed that he needed to have his gallbladder removed. He tried to ignore the pain and was determined to wait until after the Christmas season to have the surgery performed, but then it ruptured. He had to choose surgery or risk getting an infection that could be life-threatening. Thankfully, we arrived home from our senior year of college and were able to convince him that the job wasn’t worth his life. We finally got through to him, which was surprising because Mom couldn’t get him to budge at all—granted she was trying to do it over the telephone and didn’t see how serious it was. He agreed to get the surgery, but only under one condition—we had to put on the suit and take his place at the Mall of Georgia. The mall manager didn’t really want to have to go through the process of hiring another Santa with the holiday rush underway, and while we didn’t look the part as well as our Dad, the manager agreed to let one of us take over.

Our Dad didn’t want to lose his spot at the Mall of Georgia because it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and there were hundreds of others who would gladly take his place. It also meant he would be in commercials and if any film producers decided to shoot Christmas scenes at the Mall of Georgia, he was guaranteed to be in the movie unless Santa was the star. Andy and I loved our Dad, so while we didn’t like the idea of putting on the suit, we agreed to do it. We tried swapping up the duties every day, but the twelve-hour shifts were brutal. We were normally extremely active, so sitting on our ass and posing for photos all day just made us go stir crazy. We developed a new plan—one of us would work until Santa got his first break, and then we would trade places.

Fuck, I need to go to the mall early so I can pick out a gift for Mom.

“Hello, welcome to Young’s Jewelry. I’m Julia. What can I help you with today?” The woman behind the counter at the jewelry store greeted me as soon as I walked in.

You can start with your phone number.

“Hey there, beautiful.” I flashed a smile and leaned against the counter, but the smile faded when I saw the engagement ring on her finger.
“Sorry.”

“Yeah, I got my Christmas present early.” She held up her ring and grinned. “I guess you’re not here to pick out something for your girlfriend?”

“Nope, I don’t usually let things get to the jewelry stage.” I chuckled under my breath and looked down at the display counter. “I need to find something nice for my Mom.”

“Yes, absolutely!” She motioned to one of the other counters. “We have an excellent selection of birthstone pieces or we can do something personalized if you prefer.”

“Well…” I leaned over and quickly scanned the selection. “My brother and I are twins, and our Mom used to have a heart-shaped pendant with two birthstones in it. She lost it last year when we moved to Georgia, and we want to get her something similar.”

“Twins! Wow, I bet your mama had her hands full with two of you!” She giggled slightly and moved to another case.

“We definitely didn’t make it easy on her.” I nodded and grimaced slightly.

“How about this?” She opened the counter and pulled out a heart-shaped pendant that was similar to what I was looking for.

“Almost, but do you have it in white gold?” I tilted my head to the side in contemplation. “I want it to match her engagement ring and wedding band.”

“We do, but it is a little more expensive.” She nodded and exchanged it. “What birthstones do you want us to put in it?”

“Blue topaz.” I reached into my back pocket for my wallet.
