She cupped his face in her hands. “It’s so hard for me to believe all of this. A year ago I thought we were going to lose the ranch. I didn’t know what to do or where to go or what to plan. And then—” she kissed him “—you walked back into my life and nothing’s been the same ever since.”
He smoothed his hand across her flat abdomen. “Hey, babe, I have a hunch you haven’t seen nothing yet!” His hand strayed to her breast and within a few minutes he’d picked her up and started for the stairs, her arms entwined around his neck.
Megan smiled to herself, thinking about the changes. As long as Travis was a part of her life, she knew she’d face all the changes with courage and calm acceptance. His love for her had finally helped her to understand what strength can be gained by accepting love and help from others.
