After The Fall Page 16

by Ariadne Wayne

“I wish you had seen your face. It was hard hiding that from you, Dad has been planning it for weeks.”

He cuddled up behind me, stroking my belly and kissing my neck. “I love it when you’re pregnant, your body gets so soft and sensitive to my touch.” His fingers roamed my body until they reached between my legs and touched me, sending electricity through my body and I felt my body react to him as it always did.

  “Alex,” I whispered.

“My Natalie,” he said, “my beautiful Natalie.”

He took me from behind, making love to me slowly, lovingly.

I felt more happy than I had ever thought possible. Soon our baby would be with us and we would celebrate three years since the day Alex Mercer picked up the unconscious girl from the footpath and carried her into his home.

Our wild, crazy fling was supposed to end after the fall but now it would last the rest of our lives, of that I was sure. Nothing could be more perfect.
