She laughed wildly when I dropped her onto the bed and came down on top of her. I buried my face in her neck and growled. She instantly arched her back and rubbed her soft body against mine.
“I love you, Megan.”
She froze and blinked up at me.
I just smiled, knowing that she loved me, too, whether she was ready to say it aloud or not. I could see it in the way she looked at me, and in the little things she did for me. I could feel it radiating off of her through our bond. Her feelings for me were as real as mine were for her. “I love you and I’m going to spend the rest of my life giving you everything you want. Naps in my fur, babies, anything.”
Her eyes filled with tears, and she grabbed my neck to pull me down for a kiss. “I love you, too.”
I rolled us over so she was on top of me. I felt my own wave of emotion at hearing the words. She wasn’t holding anything back. She was giving every part of herself to me. “Yeah?”
She stroked her hands down my chest and bit her lip. “It’s later, Roman.”
For a second I didn’t know what she meant, but then I remembered that first night we spent together in the bathtub. The promise that she could return the favor later. “It’s later?”
She grinned. “It’s later.”
“Thank god for Florida.” I gritted my teeth as my sexy little mate slid down my body seductively, licking her lips with her own eagerness to make later happen.
