She pulls back and walks a few steps, wringing her hands. When she turns, I want to drop to my knees and beg her to tell me what put that look on her face.
“Whatever it is, Zar, we can work it out. Tell me. Please.”
“Oh, Mitch.” Tears slide down her cheeks. “I have sucky timing.”
I do drop to my knees, holding her hands in mine, locking my gaze to hers.
“Tell me what it is.” Fear fills me like nothing I’ve ever felt. If she’s sick… if she’s dying. Oh, holy fuck.
She reaches into her purse. “I was going to tell you before we started looking at properties, but you surprised me this morning.”
   “Zar, please.”
She looks up at the ceiling and then starts laughing. Laughing. What the fuck?
   “Zar?”
She holds out a white plastic stick. “We’re pregnant.”
   Not sick. Not dying. Pregnant?
   I can’t hide my confusion. “Pregnant? But…”
“That time the condom broke when I was on antibiotics?”
   “Uh…right, yeah.”
“Antibiotics decrease the efficacy of the pill.”
I nod, then pause. “We’re pregnant.”
   She nods.
“We’re having a baby,” I say slowly, letting it sink in.
   She nods and starts laughing.
   “No shit?” I grin.
   “No shit.”
   “You’re not dying?”
Her brows furrow. “No. Oh! Oh, I’m so sorry, Mitch. I didn’t mean to scare you.”
   I don’t give it a second thought.
“A baby? Our baby is in there right now?”
   She nods again.
I stand up and lift her into my arms, spinning in a circle.
“Two of our dreams are coming true in one week, baby. Don’t you see, Zar? It’s fate. We got a two-for-one deal here.”
“I’m not sure that makes sense, but okay. You still think we’ll be okay if we open the business and it’s not busy right away?” she asks.
“We’ve got a decent-sized savings. We’ll be fine. If it doesn’t make it in a year, we call it a bust,” I propose.
   “I think that’s a great plan.”
“You know how I know we’re meant to do this?” I ask her.
“How?” she asks, her arms wrapped around my waist as she looks up at me with those gray-green eyes that hold so much love. For me.
“When the condom broke? That was the night we fulfilled the fantasy you had to fuck in the bathroom of a honkey tonk saloon,” I remind her with a chuckle. Those are some damn fine memories.
   “It was! You’re right.”
   “I’m always right, baby.”
“Uh-huh,” she taunts. I spank her softly and she snickers.
   “My wife is brilliant.”
“Well, duh,” she replies. “But why am I brilliant this time?”
“Because you wanted more people than just me and you to be able to fulfill their forbidden fantasies.”
And now they’ll get to and we’ll make it possible… we’ll make it possible for them to find happiness, pleasure, and anything else couples are seeking or needing to keep their love and passion alive… like us.
“I can’t wait to see who our first clients are and what they’re looking for,” she wonders.
   “We’ll find out soon.”
Stay tuned for more Forbidden Fantasies erotic short stories.

   About the Author
I was born and raised in Wisconsin and still live here today.
I’m an avid reader who gets inspired by reading the stories from my favorite authors as well as listening to various types of music. I am a huge fan of music, chocolate, fruit, desserts, autumn, M. Shadows, Avenged Sevenfold, and Milo Ventimiglia. Through my books, I am proudly creating new Avenged Sevenfold and Milo Ventimiglia fans one reader at a time.
“The best part of being an author, to me, is being able to take the reader to that one place they long to go when they need to escape reality. Knowing I can do that, for even one reader, makes what I do worthwhile.” ~ Anne Mercier
